@Rainshadow: If you look at it long enough, it will change.

I don't know when 'Galvin81' registered. The question was implemented only in late August of 2011. We were getting about 15-20 spambots registered per day before then.

When I first joined this Forum, I was asked the question about what species Martin the Warrior was (A mouse, as I have always known). I awnsered the question right, but what happened when you awnser the question wrong?

You will be told you answered the question wrong and prompted to retry. It must be answered correctly to create an account. It's a security feature to prevent both bots and trolls from registering.

Oh, we'll leave it going for a couple more days so everyone who missed the initial day gets a chance to see it. It won't be permanent.
7  Redwall Discussion (Spoilers) / General Discussion / Re: Unpublished Work on: April 02, 2013, 04:30:32 PM
The manuscript has not left the family yet, not as of early 2013. They can decide to do nothing with it, get someone to finish it, and if they do that anytime soon, it will take some time to be properly completed and they may still decide not to do anything with it for awhile. By very virtue of their proximity, the work is in their hands to decide what to do with, mostly his brother I suppose, given Brian's conversations over producing his works that he'd have had with him. Not even any secondhand accounts I know, let alone any third-hand account provided, can testify as to the manuscript's condition. There is no press releases, or anything of the sort, to be provided to the public, not now, if ever.

Please, members may speculate as they please, but there is no official information.

There is manuscript of Redwall that is unfinished. How unfinished is not publically known. Last I heard, the family hadn't decided whether to get a ghost writer or not. I doubt it is very far along at all-but that is speculation.  Please take heed of previous posts of mine: there is no secrecy needed on this subject. Discuss it as you will.

"Overlord, these three bolts o' silk were only brought t'you because o' the foolishness o' Romsca. At first, I grabbed the armor you requested, bein' careful t'keep it out o' the hands o' captains 'ho might 'ave gotten it wrecked. I then tasked Romsca t'get the spear. Soon enuff, I see Romsca barrelin' towards me an' almost impalin' me through wid the thing! And psybox tried t'pelt me wid chalices! So I had to grab some silk, three bolts t'be exact, in order to divert her attention. Romsca, and psybox, were goin' mad from seein' so much wealth. Psybox calmed down, an' I decided we'd just wrap Romsca up in silk, for transport back 'ere, wid the added bonus o' pleasing you, unner the circumstances, if you follow my meaning, since we 'ad no further choice t'not try to. Psybox smuggled along those chalices, though. I knew nothin' o' 'em! As for the armor, Leatho an' Tam/Martin kept tryin' it on an' left it in a swamp t'sink."

Yes. Most gags are likely to be temporary, and can be lifted after a period of time has elapsed (say, 24 hours or 48 hours or a week). We don't want to kick members off the forums if we don't have to. If they can cool down and we feel that they're capable of reforming their behavior, we'll ungag and work from there.

12  News and Feedback / Suggestions and Concerns / Re: What happens if you get reported on: March 11, 2013, 10:39:58 PM
As a rule, the staff does not disclose information over why any given member has been gagged/banned. We make an exception in the case of family members or perhaps real-life friends.

Rarely does anyone ever need gagging, but we will take such action if necessary, and continue to work with the gagged member, if they desire, into the future.

And since the original question has long been answered, I will be locking this topic.

OOC: Edited first sentence of my post to reflect Leatho's post. Psybox, if you want to compensate from posting after me.

Taggerung was in a better shape than most of the inner circle. "Overlord, Leatho had the golden raven for the journey t’the raven council. It was stolen at night by Psybox, undoubtedably due to ‘is never endin’ desire an’ greed for power an’ status. I tried t’take it back from ‘im before we were t’see the ravens, but ‘e resisted and started kickin’ birds and fellow travelers. We were jostled into the council with the figure in ‘is paws. Once the raven councilors called, very elegantly an’ stately like, for our offer, Psybox and Romsca began squakin’ like fieldmice housewives together an’ eventually get the ‘ole lot o’ birds screechin’ up a fit like a maelstrom whirlin’ away. Two great ravens swept down an’ smothered ‘em, not gently, while a raven councilor asks me o’ all o' us why a horde leader like yourself ‘ave such fools unner your command. I stepped for’ard an’ took the figure from Psybox an’ presented it to the raven councillors then, and a raven took it from me as I spoke, sayin’ it was your wish to make peace for their own good. They seemed to be persuaded, until Psybox leapt up an’ snatched the figure from a raven’s claw an’ ate it! He didn’t toss it away, or anythin’ else, just ate it, like it was a mushroom. A few ravens flew off wid ‘im to get the piece out, I suppose. It woulda been fine if the other four captains ‘ere didn’t get all scared an’ tried to run away like moles from bees.  The ravens attacked then, thinkin’ treachery an’ deceit, and gave us all sumthin’ t’think about for awhile. You might try askin’ Psybox where the piece is now, if ya care about it anymore, mighty Overlord!”
