Redwall Discussion (Spoilers) / Character Discussion / Re: Why Does Martin Not Love Again?

I think Martin's love for Rose went on even after her death. He might have had a liking for another but it was to painful for him to love again
He certainly dealt well with all his other pain: He never feels so much as a twinge of self-doubt about all the killing that he does. -Duxwing What all the killing that he does? He didn't kill very many if you pay attention to the books.

Except that not every LEGO is not a brick! A lot of mine aren't bricks, they are many different things, and need a way of expression without false referencing. "Lego parts" if you want to be picky. There are some words that have different apostrophe placements to show the difference between plural and ownership, and by default Lego's would be the plural (last I checked, I could be wrong on this one) and Legos' was ownership. There are a lot of ins and outs of English, especially in different versions.
For ownership the apostrophe always comes before the "s", except in words that already end in "s". So "Lego's" only ever has a meaning when used in front of another word, like Lego's headquaters, Lego's financial report, Lego's press release, Lego's new product. (A plural itself never has an apostrophe, unless you're talking about something owned by all of them.) "Legos" is a completely non-existant word made up, as usual, by lazy Americans. It is not an official word and doesn't appear anywhere on the official Lego website (or on Lego's website if you prefer). If you're a Lego employee and you use the word "Legos" you'll be sitting in the naughty corner for a month ... if you use it a second time you'll probably be fired. Wow, you seriously lost all respect from me. "Lazy," is THE last word I'd use to describe just about everyone that I know, and you're just being insulting now.

Lego's is a plural form and completely legit! Nope. "Lego's" (with an apostrophe) is meaningless nonsense when used by itself. It only makes sense if you're talking about something owned by the Lego company, e.g. Lego's head office. "Legos" (without an apostrophe) is also meaningless nonsense and is not the "legit" plural of anything at all - the Lego company even officially disapproves of the word "Legos" and only ever allows "Lego" to appear in things like press releases and advertising. The correct plurals for the products are "Lego briocks / blocks" and "Lego sets". Except that not every LEGO is not a brick! A lot of mine aren't bricks, they are many different things, and need a way of expression without false referencing. There are some words that have different apostrophe placements to show the difference between plural and ownership, and by default Lego's would be the plural (last I checked, I could be wrong on this one) and Legos' was ownership. No one slapped any of the big heroes, so:
1.) Martin The Warrior: Rose is dead, I know, but you need to stop bottling your feelings up and talk to someone about your pain. Rose wouldn't have wanted this for you. -Duxwing
ok i have to say when i first read this i was like WHAT but now that i think about it that is so true Same here. Martin needed to "man" up after Rose's death, and take control of things. Love the random asdf quote in your personal text. Anyway, I have to disagree, there was a lot more than that, he lost his mom, his dad left, his caretaker was slain, he was enslaved. He knew NOTHING but hardship from birth! How can you hold something like that against a guy?

I enjoy Legos somewhat...
Aaaarrrghhh!! The dreaded "Legos" word again. Lego's is a plural form and completely legit! LEGO is the company, Lego's can be used to describe many bricks!

/\ Ditto.... I feel weird saying that. This is kind of half suggestion half question. I'm not sure if we have the list of season namers around here somewhere, but I was thinking that maybe there could be a topic to list all of the season namers chronologically, list their season, the year, what they named it, and list the feast topic urls. If not going all out like what that suggestion would be (crazy, I know) Could you at least put the names in the FAQ thread? Thanks ~Dannflower Reguba~

The crosshairs is an incredibly important thing for archery, personally I think that ranged combat would go out the widow completely if you removed it. Perhaps a dot? Rather than a crosshair, a single pixel? Idk.
Ah, but exactly! Do you have a crosshairs when you're walking around? I hope not! That would give me a headache... Anywho, this way, you can actually practice to get better, whereas with the crosshairs, everybody's good. It adds the beauty of Hardcore mode, or a sense of realism. Increase to the roleplaying experience. Maybe it'll just be like that for me then! XD This is coming from a real life experienced archer, and if you remove those cross hairs, I'm NEVER using that texture pack no matter how good it is! Real life is one thing, you can actually aim with your eyes in real life. The cross hairs are essential when it comes to games as you aren't fully in perspective, the weapon placement knocks off your orientation, and the cross hairs solve that problem. I LIVE archery in Minecraft, I've won 3 v 1 because of my archery. (NOT easy to do in late-game Sabotage!)

Supposedly Disney cancelled The Clone Wars (and the entire LucasArts gaming company) because they wanted to concentrate on the new Star Wars movies ... but the reality is more likely that they didn't want to be making a show that plays on a rival channel (Cartoon Network) and the style of the show doesn't fit with the Disney channels. This is further proven by the fact that there seems to be a new animated Star Wars show now in the early stages of development.
They had better not actually be cancelling! (Clone Wars) There'd be a LOT of angry fans (myself included) there is WAYYYYYYY too much left un-answered.
