Yes, as many of you have guessed, the vermin takeover of the forum was an elaborate prank on behalf of the forum staff.

Many questions have been asked over the past 24 hours as to what exactly happened, who was who, etc... Here are the answers to your top questions:
Q: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FORUM? -or- What's everyone talking about? I wasn't here April 1st.
A: The forum staff became villains for the day, and took over the forum, by renaming the boards villainous things.

Q: Who came up with this brilliant idea?
A: James Gryphon, one of our former moderators, came up with this great idea almost six months ago. Redwall Musician originally came up with the idea of staff playing villains, though.

Q: How long will the forums look like this?
A: We're planning on putting it back soon. However, some people are indicating that they like the changes. So there's a poll where you can vote on what you think about the appearance of the forum.

As the forum appearance poll shows, we have an over-whelming number of members who want the forum to stay the way it is for a little while longer. That being said, we will be keeping the current appearance until Sunday, when it will be changed back.
