This is a question about the audiobook of Salamandastron: why didn't BJ narrate it? On all the other Redwall audiobooks, he's the main narrator, but not in this one. Does anybody know why?

I don't know. Possibly BJ had a cold or something like that and couldn't make the deadline for the audiobook.

I don't know the answer to your question either Ungatt. Maybe he wanted a change and wanted someone else to narrate that book?

Possibly it was planned that way to begin with -- not all authors narrate their own books, after all, it's something the publisher usually does; correct me if I'm wrong. Otherwise I've never seen a stated reason. I'm pretty sure Jacques hired the audiobook actors himself one way or another, if that sheds any light on the matter...
