The farm is a place for vermin and woodfolk alike, a sanctum from the all the violence and tension out there. This quiant little hovel is open to all who may wish to come to it. The only rule is be nice, and don't cause any trouble. Though I suppose that's two rules.

*A small hovel sat in the middle of a field. On the porch, Silvertongue was resting on a rocking chair, strumming a lute and singing in a foreign tongue*

*Greeneye was currently planting some seeds. He looked up and he wiped his brow* "Welcome, welcome! Can we offer ye some Dandy-lion and Burdock Cordial?"

"Well, thankee, matey!" *the otter bows* "That would be great." *Gestures to a nearby empty rocking chair* "Mind if I...?"
*Silvertongue motioned to the chair* "Be my guest. I'll go get the cordial." *He sat his lute down and walked into the small house*
*Greeneye let out a heavy sigh and went back to working the dirt* "So, what brings ye here, mate?"
*Sebias sits down, letting out a sigh* "Ahhh... Nice to rest one's footpaws everyone once in a while. I'm a humble otter looking for work." *He winked* "My family was sick of me eating them out of a house and home. They gave me the boot."
"Well, it's just me and me mate in there that live here." *Greeneye leaned on the hoe he was using and wiped his brow* "An' all he likes to do is sit an' strum that liddle gee-tar of his." *He chuckled*
"It's called a lute, and it belonged to my father." *Silvertongue walked out with a tray and a few cups* "We could always use some help, but we haven't a whole lot of room here. We do have a shed that could be repurposed."
*He walked over to the two of them and offered them drinks*
*was taking a pleasant flight to stretch my wings, then noticed a small cottage type thing and flew down, landing gently in front of it*
Good day, everybeast. 'Fraid I may have lost my way slightly, since this place looks entirely new. Can you give me directions to the nearest town?
*Greeneye and Silvertongue were shocked to see a flying beast*
"A-ah... um, there's a small settlement to the west... I think." *Greeneye pointed in the general direction, almost dumbfounded*
"Er... care for some cordial?" *Silvertongue held the tray of drinks out, a bit shakily*
*the Taniwha smiled gratefully, remembering to reduce size a bit so as not to frighten the beasts* That'd be great, thanks. It's quite a hot day. *takes a drink and sips quietly* Mmmm, that's delicious.
"It's, ah, Dandelion and Burdock. I brewed it myself." *Silvertongue nodded, before leaning in and muttering to Greeneye* "
Dsoon, nhan en nho lkaol ab e kaarend an sedhn nan?" *The fox spoke in a foriegn tongue*
*Greeneye shrugged, replying softly in the same language.* "
Lkaol er'n e rnan, Lekwos. E aen'n loon a rkaen' loaln loraso."
(Dunno how well your char would know an ancient fox language, but I'll put down a translation.)

Greeneye: Blazes if'n I know, Silver. I ain't seen a flyin' beast before.
Ah, yes. I love dandelions. Well, thank you very much for both the drink and the directions. I must be off but, if I happen to pass this way again, I will be sure to drop in. I make a wonderful seed cake.
*bobs head, spreads wings and takes to the air again, going west*
*The two of them just awkwardly waved goodbye, not entirely sure what happened*
*turns and comes back* Sorry, forgot to return the cup. *puts the cup back on the tray and flies away again*
"Uhh... come again?" *Greeneye called out*
"Bye, I guess." *Silvertongue readjsuted the cup back onto his tray*
*calls back* Will do. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!
*Greeneye went back to tilling the field.*
*Silvertongue placed the drinks on the table, before sitting down to pick up his lute and play some music*
*A skeletal Salamaxalotlhare wafts across the field, followed by a less skeletal salamaxalotlhare and a yellow, dancing squirrel* Hello. Anything you wished to have cursed?
*Greeneye looked up from his work, just staring in shock for a while, before slowly replying* "Well, er, no. We don't need no curses here!"
"Yes, we'd like to be curse free, please." *Silvertongue spoke up*
*Scott sprinted through the forest, tired and weary. It was only a matter of time before they would get to him. Scott suddenly noticed a small farm to his right. Shifting directions he sprinted for the farm*
*Greeneye turned his attention towards the beast running towards them* "Hey, hey, what's the big rush?" *He asked*
M-my battal*Faints from weariness*
"Oh, geez-" *Greeneye dropped the hoe and he hurried over, leaning down to lift the beast up off the ground* "Silver, go get some water from the well. I'll let him rest in the guest bedroom for a while." *He said as he started to half drag/half carry them*
*Silvertongue nodded, getting up and heading out towards the well*
*Having carried the unconcious creature into his hovel and laying him on the bed, Greeneye went out and waited for Silvertongue*
*Silvertongue quickly returned with a bucket of water, making his way to the hovel. Taking a rag, he damped it and started to dab gently at

"Is he alive?
*Mumbles something*
"I think he's recovering." *Greeneye said* "Try and get him to speak up. Use some of that fox magic that you used to fix my chest."
"First of all, only vixens can use it, and secondly, you swore not to bring it up with anyone!" *Silvertongue said as he continued to wipe at the beasts brow*
*circles around and lands by the hut* I brought some seed cake!
*A few moments later, Greeneye came walking out of the hovel* "Oh, er, seed cake ye say? Well, thank Ye very much for that!" *They smiled a bit*

"If you want it, you can take it. Just eat it somewhere else, blood makes me uneasy."
Yum, thanks. *launches forward and grabs the sheep, then flies up into the air, letting out a predatory screech before shooting out of sight, Whatitiri joining the taniwha in a tree*

"He's not waking up." *Silvertongue said worriedly*

I'm a taniwha. Most of us aren't very social beasts, so we usually stay away from prying eyes. I was brought up by... other creatures, so I have a different lifestyle.
