Title is a work in progress. :P
Alrighty!
@Jukka the Sling @Cornflower MM @danflorreguba Here is the OOC topic for the semi-private RP I messaged you all about.
What I was thinking was that, instead of like the previous role-plays where we are transferred to the Redwall world and lose our memories, we keep our memories and all of our knowledge of the world. Because of this we won't have any experience, or very little experience, fighting or using weapons of any kind. However, what we do have is our extensive knowledge of the universe and how it works. (We will probably be able to learn fighting but that may not be a focus point.)
We have a couple of choices as to where we want to start from.
First, we could all wake up at the same time in the same place. We'll work things out as to how we got there and our guess as to what we're doing there, possibly waking up remembering a dream with Martin the warrior telling us something.
Second we will wake up in separate places, maybe with dreams again, and end up finding each other. I like the other one better, but it's just another way to start this.
As to what we are doing there in Redwall world, we will have been called there because we know so much about that universe. This will be extremely useful if there comes a need to find a place, or find something or remember something that happened in the books that was forgotten over time. I was talking with Corny and we both like the idea of Noonvale coming into this.
So, what do you think?
Character sheets do not need to include history, personality Kama weapons, and maybe 'other." It's more important just to describe how you will look.
So are we showing up in the Redwall world as our human self, or as one of the Redwall species? Do we know each other? Is the plot still open for.... well, plotting? Do we bring all of our IRL skills and our physique with us?
We are a Redwall species.
We will figure out who each other are.
The plot is still open, if you have any ideas.
Yes, all IRL skills and physique.
The first idea for meeting sounds good, simply because we could get into the plot faster. I'll post my sheet soon.
I like the first option too, but either could work. I also still really like the idea of Noonvale. Aaaannnndd I dunno when I'll get my sheet up. Soon.
"Soon" you both say. -^-
Species and appearance are all that are necessary, though you can add whatever you want.
Species: Cougar (If you guys see a problem with that I can change it.)
Appearance: Gray-blonde fur, blue eyes, very large creature. Wears brown pantaloons with a belt and a tan shirt.
Additions: Small sheath knife.
Well now that I know what the sheet looks like it'll be tomorrow. ;D
Name- We know.
Personality- We know.
History- We either know or don't need to.
Weapons: Most of us don't carry them, or would know how to use them effectively. Not important to start with.
;D ;)
Species: Do you really have to ask? Squirrel.
Appearance: Just generally small for a squirrel. Medium brown fur, blue/grey eyes. Wears a black tunic with black leggings and a dark green belt. (Or the closest thing to leggings you can get in the Redwall universe)
Additions: Glasses, several bnds of varying sizes and textures on right wrist. (Made of Redwall-acceptable materials)
Species: Ferret
Appearance: Dark brown fur, blue eyes. Wears dark blue tunic. Also wears a pair of small silvery stud earrings simplistically shaped like flowers.
I forgot. . . Dan will be a squirrel as well.
Alright, I'm brainstorming a plot.
A creature from Noonvale comes down to Redwall, needing their healers to help with a plague that afflicts Noonvale. For some reason, he is unable to direct the way, perhaps he is suddenly struck with the plague itself. (Hey, maybe the flowers of Icetor for the dryditch fever! Didn't they have some that they saved to grow at Redwall?)
We would all help direct the way, putting our heads together to remember where we need to go. Of course, there might be trouble along the way. . .
Story sounds good! Also, lol, I just changed my species to ferret instead.
Ooohhhh that sounds good.
Alrighty.
As soon as
@danflorreguba stops lurking (yeah, I saw you), and posts his sheet, I will get the main topic up.
Species: Squirrel (was going to be an otter, but the thought of an albino otter made me want to cry)
Appearance: White fur, blue eyes, wears a black tunic with yellow trim. Slightly taller than average, and a little lanky.
Are you albino, Dan? If so, that's interesting!
Alright, starting the topic today!
'Tis done!
By the wayyyyy Skar I edited my sheet the other day to add something that I just didn't feel right leaving out, but I just now realized I forgot to tell you? So yeah. That's a thing.
EDIT: And to clarify, we're finding each other, yeah?
Okay.
We're in close proximity of one another.
Thaaaaaanks.
Mmkay. COOLNESS. I'll post tomorrow, I only have nine minutes left on my computer and I sure as h*ck ain't gonna be able to write a good starting post in nine minutes or on my Kindle.
Yeah.
Took me half my lunch to write mine. :P

Alright, starting the topic today!
Not albino, but I'm normally super white (a little different since last year, but I'm still pretty white post camp season). Not sure when I'll be able to post, but it'll be as soon as I can.
Alright, so just fyi I don't want Jukka and myself to get too far ahead of Dan and Corn, which is why I haven't responded to Jukka.
I'm letting things play out for a bit, feel free to roam a little ways.
. . .
Okee dokee.
Hope my posts don't seem too short. I just want to make sure our conversations are natural back and forth, without a whole lot of action between vocalizations.
No not at all! You're good! I'm being quiet for now because I don't really know what to say.
Cool.
And that would probably be an accurate reaction IRL. We don't always feel we HAVE to speak.
It is indeed very accurate.
That may be so, but I need either you or Dan to post. :P
I like how we all have our own thoughts on our situations. Some of us are adjusting well, some of us are a little hesitant to accept it. . . I like it. ;D
Yeah, it's pretty interesting.
You guys want to time skip?
I wouldn't mind it. Up to the other two, though.
@danflorreguba @Jukka the Sling EDIT: After like two minutes of thinking I personally would rather us stumble across the path soon, though. (Soon = Next few posts) Too many timeskips can make things flow weirdly, and there would just be this.... Awkward gap after the semi-deep conversation while we're still getting used to each other. So yeah I personally think we don't really need a timeskip, necessarily, someone can just go "OH HEY LOOK IT'S THE PATH."
I'm okay with that.
@danflorreguba I'm waiting for you to post, ya dork. :P
*Cough.*
@danflorreguba Have you become a professional lurker? Because you're doing a fantastic job of it. ;) :P
I got so excited because I didn't realize this was the OOC: topic because it's not in the title, lol. I do that all the time with HWA and Undecided.
I need to change it to have OOC in the title.
Hey, so everyone knows, I'm going to bring in the traveller from Noonvale before they get close enough to see Redwall. Just so you all know.
@Cornflower MM I handed you the bandage.
Sorry, mushbrain over here. Fixed.
Awesome! No worries.
I'm not sure I want to introduce why Andrew is there in the first place yet. I think I want to wait until they're/we're all in the Abbey. So, we can speed stuff along here, but I don't want to rush anyone. (Sorry, Jukka, if I didn't give you much to work with. It seems like you had to switch around a whole lot in your last post because of how much went on.) If
@danflorreguba wants to add anything, now would be a good time.
(Nah, you're fine. It's my fault for not keeping up with posting. :P)
Dan.
Hello? Corn? Jukka?
Agh, sorry! Didn't realize it had been so long.
*Stares intensely at the "Who's Online" page.*
I was going to go over to the head table to talk to the Skipper, the Abbess, and the badger by myself. Then, maybe the next day, Andrew would contract an illness, and he would say why he came. Because his cut wasn't bad enough to stop him from travelling. You guys okay with that?
Go right ahead.
^
Did you, like, physically fall over, Dan?
That would be correct.
If everyone agrees, we will go on to morning.
I'm ready to go.
Sure that's fine.
Fine with me!
Just drag me up the stairs when y'all are ready. I don't want to waste RP space by just walking up the stairs.
That's fair, haha. I went ahead and bumped us to the Infirmary, hope you don't mind, Skarzs.
Not a problem.
Alright, so, I'm not trying to make this go too quickly, but after playing it out in my mind, this is how I want it to go.
Andrew is sick, with something to do with dryditch fever. The four of us are caught in the middle of it because Andrew had already called for the Abbess, and she comes in for him to explain his story. We aren't really obliged to help, until it comes apparent that there is no way to know where Noonvale is- The information was kept secret at the request of the last visitors from there. We'd be the only ones to know where to go other than "north" without extensive research into the ancient accounts and records, which would take previous time. We might also suggest the possibility of it being dryditch fever.
Thoughts and expansion or tweaking of the idea would be appreciated.
I've been sick for over two weeks, been a little difficult to formulate cohesive thoughts on a regular basis. I'll get around to a response soon enough.
Shoot. Sorry to hear you're sick, Dan. Hope you get better.
Two weeks?! Oh man, that's awful. I hope you feel better soon!
I've been frantically scrambling to do school and stuff (Heh heeehhhhhh MY GRADES ARE DROPPING KILL MEEEEEEEEE) and I've been waiting for Dann. I'll try to get something up this weekend.
*Throws sympathy and anything useful as hard as I can across the country.*
RIP all of us. :P
Okay, so do you think we could make up a sickness that can be treated without having us die? XD Something with prolonged exposure being the way to contract it rather than immediate transmission?
Oh, or maybe caused by something wrong with their food or water supply in Noonvale?
I mean, the guy could just have a really serious flu for all we know :D I think at this point we really need to have a concrete goal (for us to know, not for the characters to play off of immediately), do we (us IRL again) actually have a set place in the chronology yet? We've mostly been fooling around with the silliness of us being thrown haphazardly into the Redwall world, so it may be time to get a solid idea of what will be coming.
This is all after all known stories.
One idea is that Andrew's cut was infected by some kind of poison, and he will be out of commission for a while.
As far as a goal, we'll basically be going to Noonvale with a healer- Maybe Noonvale lost theirs or something. The reason all of us would go is so that the sum total of our memories of how to get to Noonvale would give us the best shot of getting there. Maybe we could visit each place of "history" as a way of retracing the steps backwards, but also for the sake of geeking out over finding those things we read but never saw except for in our mind's eye.
Mmmm, I'm not sure I like the poison infection idea. Unless it was on the blade of whatever cut him, there wasn't really any chance for it to get infected. Some sort of long-incubating illness could work. Or also the flu. :P OR a poisoned weapon, it's not like that was unheard of in the books. I don't care much about the specifics as long as I don't have to die a gruesome feverish death. :P Noonvale losing their healer could work, yeah, maybe from the same sort of flu that Andew contracted? That would suggest it's a really long incubater, though, and bad. I DUNNO. THERE'S ALL THE OPTIONS. I feel like I'm about to start going in circles. I do love the idea of viewing each place of note in the books, though, like the Ford and the otter rocks and other places. (Please tell me we get to go to Salamandastron at some point because that would be fun.)
I was thinking more of a poisoned weapon.
Actually, that would be pretty cool to go to a lot of the places from the books, though for this story I wasn't thinking bigger than what we could find on the northern way to Noonvale. After that, though, we could definitely go to other places!
I honestly don't have much opinion on this, I was going to let everyone else decide and roll with it.
I pretty much got all my thoughts out in that word vomit up above. :P Other than that, what Dann said.
Okay, so Andrew doesn't have dryditch fever after all and it was just a poisoned weapon?
I don't really have much else to add. XP
Cool. :P This way we don't DIE.
Hello?
@Jukka the Sling @Cornflower MM @danflorreguba You guys still want to do this? Let me know if it's too slow or something.
Sorry dude, I keep looking at what's going on and being like, "I would definitely just follow quietly at this point." I'm not super social, and generally only speak if I have a specific reason to, unless I'm being silly.... And I'm definitely not being silly at the moment. ;)
Lol. Okay.
So, I guess I didn't make it too obvious, but the people coming are the Abbess and a couple others.
Ahem.
*Cough.*
*hAck*. *wheeze*
*Choke.*
coff*
*Cough.*
Hello?
I need a human/dragon/mouse hybrid signup sheet, please! :D
So I am assuming you want to join the RP Here We Are. If so you need to contact the host to see if registrations are still open. If so, you need to write a character sheet yourself that abides within the rules set by the host.
Hope this helps :)
I did it just now. Thank you, Redwaller! :)
He told me to make my own RP. Can I start with you, please?
Perhaps...
I would be interested, but I would need to know more about it. I recommend starting and OOC Thread to provide a bit more information on the background, plans, ect.
Just play out the NPC's from here.... That sounded weird. I'm not really going to say anything to them because we've covered all the bases.
(Pardon the double post)
So we've come to the conclusion we're all going. Where we going from here? I'd bring the Abbes and co. back into the gatehouse, extremely quickly explain we know where we're going and we're going, and skip to the next morning or something. (Or just skip to the next morning, really, and explain the decision made.)
I was thinking we would just skip to the next day. We'll assume that the rest of the previous day was spent making plans and getting things ready for the journey. Maybe it would even be a couple days later.
In any case, we ought to decide the route we're taking here in the OOC so we can just state it IC. The fastest route would likely be via the ocean to the caves, and going inland from there, and since time is of the essence, that is how it would probably go. But we'll need a ship to carry enough people to help, and it's not a guarantee that we'll get that. (But it's my little funny thought that things like that just somehow work in our favor- Deus ex Machina sort of thing.)
Now, we'll be bringing along the healer and helper, maybe that otter maid we met when we first got there, as well as the abbey warrior, and maybe the Skipper and a few others. NPCs welcome.
If you guys have anything to add to this or objections, let me know.
So are we time skipping or abandoning or....?
I only heard one reply soooooo. . .
I will push forward.
Sounds good to me. We don't need to dwell on things too long, at least as far as personal interactions go.
About to head into finals, not sure I'll have time to squeeze in a post. Will do if possible during the essays and tests. :P Just wanted to let y'all know.
If anyone wants to RP a rescue that's fine. I was thinking maybe Drakken would save Jukka.
I'll be posting soon, just getting things squared away with work and stuff.
I wasn't sure what Dan was planning.
I would like
@Jukka the Sling to post before we do too much PPing. If she doesn't post in the next couple days, I will push things forward. Sorry for the wait.
@Jukka the Sling @Cornflower MM @danflorreguba I was planning on having some excitement while they were on the river. Wasn't sure if you guys had some other ideas that might help liven things up.
Spice you say? OH, have I got some spice for you.
Do tell. . . ?
Should I be concerned?
EDIT: Oh dear. This will cause problems.
Is kind of the point, but if it makes you feel any better, there is a point behind it.
The point being that they were laughing at Jukka's expense, so you wanted them to know it should have been taken seriously?
I know, hold on.
Take your time, no need to rush ;)
? dO i SeNsE sAsS
Nah, I'm just fine waiting, we're in a really weird spot.
You have no one to blame for this weird spot but yourself. XD
How? We airdropped our normal selves into a version of Redwall plagued by super racists.
I'd like to get us all on the water here. Dan, if you wanted to respond to Corn before that, that will be good. I will likely PP us all to being in the boats and on our way.
I have something planned for later on.

She glanced out over the river, wondering when they would get underway again.
As soon as you all get your fuzzy bums in the boats.
I'm crying xD
I KNOW
DON"T TOUCH ME
I posted you five-grain muffins.
