I like to think that there are other Abbeys in the world of Redwall but I was wondering does anyone agree :)
Could be,mabey too small or far away to be in the storys
Well for a start there's Loamhedge Abbey...Yes, I think there were other abbeys, but we'll never know for sure.
There ought to be. Such a stronghold as Redwall must have inspired others to start their own in other areas.
since there was Loamhedge, its seems to reason there probably more. also there are great castles u don't hear Anything about, like the one, i forget the book, but the one with the Scottish sounding hare, Bolini, or something like that. And then were did the tabora come from.
Well look at Castle Floret (ok, not an abbey, but a large structure nonetheless).
I'm sure there are many more which could have their own stories.
Redwall abbey has been threatened many times. Only because of their wit did they survive. Maybe others existed but fell. I voted maybe.
I think that was the best idea so far.
Thanks.
I think there might be some more out there in the Redwall world but probably in a place they haven't mentioned yet.
Ach, ah zmell a Fanfic comin'...
i always thought it would be good for someone to have found marshank, years and years after it'd been laid waste by martin and his chums, and rebuilt it into an abbey founded on values of peace and altruism. new marshank has a bit of a ring to it i think.
the same could probably said for tsarmina's castle from the book 'mossflower', though i don't remember what happened to it in the book. i remember it got flooded but how water-damaged was it?
Redwall was built on the exact location as Kotir (spelling?) after the water recede the castle had been buried the abbey pond was all that was left of the flooding of Kotir.
There could have been an abbey on Terramort Isle after the corsairs were gone.

and your spelling is right from my memory
WOW I forgot I ever made this topic :o and I'm amazed how much attention it's got. And I say yes because it stands to reason the idea of Loamhedge had to come from somewhere :)
