I think the "you" in that statement is actually referring to you yourself, Teer.  The original statement was made as a reply to something you said, so she may have meant that it's painful to listen to, if you (Teer) happen to be the one reading (aloud).

Though, even in that case, she's saying it's painful to listen to you, so there's that.
