again it wouldn't be a good role model for the Abbey Babes trusting a ferret which could msilead them or end up killing them  ^
Fun. is a fantastic band.

I've always thought of King Mortspear as being a strong ruler; strong enough to keep Ungatt from thinking about over-throwing his father.
Not a bad point, if king mortspear had the means to send both of his sons off in true horde commanders style with there own armies, imagine the terrifying resources he had at his disposal.

maybe he lived on the same island that Ublaz did.

I don,t think that is likely because Tansy was a hero who became an abbess. Too similar.

I think he would have a mouse. Simple, strong, like the first few books
Arven was a dibbun ringleader, in the book with Tansy as its hero(not abbess yet)

I think it would be very interesting to have a ferret hero. Not like in outcast of redwall, with the murderer, but a real, genuine hero, on the run, misunderstood, helping creatures without them knowing who they are. A female who would probably be killed on sight by anyone, even vermin(other vermin hate them for some reason). Mysterious.
It would be cool to have an unseen hero.

I'de like to see a badger take on the role.

I would have liked another squirrel warrior that was from Redwall.
