I totally LOVE Skillet! My two favorite songs are "Hero" and "Monster."
So far, I think their best album is "Awake and Alive."

Have you ever seen the music video for Monster? It's pretty cool:
YEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!! all I have to say is one thing: awesome ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. My favorite songs are hero, monster, comatose, lucy, one day too late, and whispers in the dark.
Whispers in the Dark is an epic song. :)
It's Hero and Monster all the way, baby! My school cover band might do monster sometime this semester.
Okay, I showed you all the Monster music video. Now I shall show it to you again........only in LegoVersion!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
holy cowzers!! its awesome
John Cooper (Skillet lead singer) did a song with TobyMac (of DC Talk fame) called 'Tonight'. I
HIGHLY recommend that you listen to it. 8)
Awesome!
I hope this isn't considered 'Bumping' or anything, but Skillet is the best band EVER! Ever ever ever! My fave song is 'Whispers in the Dark'. Skillet is the best!

Dude you beat me to my joke :( lol
Not meaning any disrespect to the band or anyone who likes them of course. I'm sure they're good musicians. But is there any particular reason they named themselves after cookware or is it just a random name like Pearl Jam or Korn?
i think its random PEARL JAM ROCKS
I've never heard of Skillet. But I like Skrillex. Is skillet Spanish for it or something? Dubstep is pretty cool.
YES!!! SKRILLEX and DUBSTEP!!! ;D

Okay, follow this link if you want to know who Skillet is. Your life will be forever changed!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmL-J1IghZM
But my mom locked youtube on this computer.
Awwwww... I don't know how to put videos onto the forum. Only links.
It doesn't matter. It won't work still. When I mean my mom locked it I my mom locked it and everything that's from youtube.
Aww. Oh well, you'll just have to go out and buy Skillet then lol.
I think they named themselves Skillet because skillets make awesome weapons. Just watch the movie "Tangled" and you'll see what I mean. ;D "Falling Inside The Black" and "Rebirth" are two more pure epicnezz songs.
Well if my mom's computer is logged in I'll check it out sometime. But one thing. Does it have any bad things in it? Cause I don't want to see or hear it.
No no! Skillet is a Christian band, even if it doesn't seem like it. I've heard them singing hymns even though they're a rock group, so, yeah. Awake and Alive would be the one you want to listen to, or How Deep the Father's Love. That one's nice too.
I've heard a couple of songs by them.
Ahhhhh that's why I've never heard of them.

K, thanks.
Yes, in fact I do love Skillet. Look at my avatar/picture if you don't believe me.
Lol, scream away John Cooper, scream away.
Lol!
I think my favorite Skillet song so far would be either Hero or Awake and Alive.
Who or what is Skillet?
Skillet is a christain rock band.
Sounds like I'd like um
There are youtube videos of their songs if you're interested.
ok
Has anyone heard the Comatose album? It's now my favorite Skillet album. I love Whispers in the Dark!
I love Skillet. Just Saying :3
Finally. Some fellow Skillet fans!
Or Panheads, as we hard-core Christianmetal-lovers call ourselves.
Panheads? So that's what they're called! I was trying to figure that out lol.
the best worship band
i love there songs collide and live free or let me die
I like the song salvation.
omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am a HUGE Skillet fan. I have the entire Awake album on my iPod and half of the Comatose album. Fave Skillet song: i hafta a say Lucy from Awake. That song makes me cry... in a GOOD way. The Last Night is really awesome, too. Skillet came out with a new album, it's called RED, yes, same as tayor swift album, but it's not country... geez.. :D
Oh! I really like Skillet. One of my favorite songs is Falling inside the Black.
love there song rise.
I think one of my favorite songs by them is "Whispers in the Dark".
Revive :)
Wow, I still like "Falling Inside the Black". My other favorite is "The Last Night". Plugg, I like Whispers in the Dark too. I think I'll tell you through Skype someday because you're not around anymore.
Anyway, this is my favorite band. It has a style I like and is the only group in which I like a good handful of its songs.
I like "Awake and Alive," and, of course, "Monster." Two of their most popular songs. It's nice to hear a Christian hard rock band. The local heavy metal station plays them now and then, and that's how I first heard of them.
They play quite a few Skillet songs on the contemporary Christian station I listen to. Mostly stuff from the Alive album and then a few songs from some of their newer stuff (not sure what their newer albums are called :P). My favourite song is probably either Whispers in the Dark, Rebirthing, or Comatose. Haven't heard those three in awhile, but they're awesome. Comatose is probably my favourite album, too. Pity I don't own it. I'm starting to get tired of listening to Awake, simply 'cause it's the only Skillet album I own and I've heard it a billion times. :P
Yes?
lol. :D
You have my permission to party away, Skully. ;D
*throws a party*
I remember listening to Skillet when I was a young 'un. My dad had a CD of theirs in his car (my dad has a TON of music from a TON of different genres and styles), and sometimes we'd listen to it when we went places together. I've never been a big fan of heavy rock, but they're pretty good in my book.
