It is the Winter of the White Sky!
The Redwallers and the creatures of Mossflower have finally begun to calm down from the terrors the ferret Rapshade the Swift and his pirate crew had brought upon them as snow sets in and covers the forest. It's the chilliest winter any of them have lived through thus far, with snowstorms, cold winds, and icy lakes...but also the most beautiful. There is something about the new season that brings a comforting feeling upon Mossflower Woods.
Little do they know, it's not about to last.
A large horde of vermin lead by partners of equal skill, a ferret and a wildcat, have stumbled upon Mossflower Woods. The two leaders have very different ways of finding out about Mossflower Country, but they share one similar goal: to conquer Redwall Abbey!

Rules:
This Roleplay is private for me, LT Sandpaw, Groddil, and Sagetip!
Please don't ask to join unless you're one of us four...And
please, if you're in it, stay active.
While filling out forums, do so for both New characters and Old characters (that are still alive!)!
Although we already know the characters from the First Part, they have changed and so it would be nice to have a forum of how they are now.
Also, the Wildcat is for Sagetip and the ferret is mine.
Here we go!

Rapshade
Spoiler
Name: Rapshade the Swift (goes by Rapshade now)
Nickname? (Optional): Swifty, Rappy, Shady
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 31 seasons (adult)
Species: Ferret
Rank: None; prisoner at Redwall Abbey
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Neutral/Bad
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Rapshade is a rather skinny (due to both being skinny before and being a prisoner now) ferret of average height with stunning amber eyes. He has black fur, blackish brown ears (the left of which is ripped due to an earring tearing out when he was younger) and some brown on the tail tip. The "ferret" markings around his eyes are gray.
Because of his illness (which is genetic and cannot be cured), he's missing fur in multiple places, particularly around the shoulders/arms and sides, and now a clump on his tail is gone as well. He still wears a long-sleeved purple captain's coat with a red sash around the waist to hide this, although he really has no reason to anymore. Everybeast knows about his sickness and according to him, he's "Not captain of anything anymore."
Personality: As one who used to flaunt his authority and now has none, Rapshade is now (at least outwardly) very quiet and depressed and, in no better words, submissive. He'll do pretty much anything the Redwallers tell him to without complaint most of the time, and sometimes it seems like he's trying a bit too hard to get on their good side.
And my, this ferret is good at manipulating. Who knows if he's faking it or not?
He is, after all, a power hungry ferret who's out for revenge.
...But let's not go into that.
Other:
I have him listed as both Neutral and Bad because although he is evil and against the Redwallers, he's not on the villains' side for personal reasons.
Also, random facts:
His favorite color is purple and his least favorite color is green. The Shadowcaster was green when it belonged to his father, but when Rapshade became captain he had it painted dark purple.
Fangfang
Spoiler
Name: Fangfang
Nickname? (Optional): Fang
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 23 seasons (young adult)
Species: Rat
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Redwall)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Fang is a short, rather scrawny yellow-furred rat with blue eyes and a thin scar leading down his face from an "accident" that happened at the Battle of Salamandastron when he was about fifteen seasons old.
Since it's winter he now dons a silky blue cloak that Duncan found unused in a closet at Redwall.
As far as weapons go, he kept the dagger he'd acquired in the battle with Rapshade and the vermin corsairs.
Personality: Fangfang is pretty naïve and isn't the brightest rat around, but he means well.
He's friendly, loyal, fun-loving, and isn't one to hold a grudge. The only problem is that he was too loyal--it was his loyalty to Rapshade that cost him both his memory and (*cough* intelligence *cough*).
Other: He encourages the Dibbuns' crazy antics, so Ava better keep her eye out.
Duncan
Spoiler
Name: Duncan Winterberry
Nickname? (Optional): n/a, just goes by Duncan
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 45 seasons (middle-aged)
Species: Hare
Rank: Abbeydweller (retired Salamandastron hare)
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Redwall)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Duncan is of about average height for a hare. He has gray fur, brown eyes, and one long ear (the other was cut off by Rapshade) that always stands up rigidly, like he's at attention...Similar to how Mixy's were.
He's clad in a brown tunic and wears a dark blue scarf in the winter seasons, having a sword and multiple daggers as weapons.
Personality: Duncan has always been a friendly hare with a good sense of humor, unless crossed. After his daughter Mixy's death he'd put on a strong exterior, trying to make it seem like he was fine and that nothing changed, for the sake of everybeast else. He's broken inside, but the recent arrival of an orphaned squirrel at Redwall has boosted his spirits greatly. The young lad reminds him all too much of Mixy...
Other:
Duncan beat his all-time scone eating record on the last day of Autumn, totaling a whopping 255 scones. He was sick for days after.
Log-a-Log Chrysanthe
Spoiler
Name: Log-a-Log Chrysanthe
Nickname? (Optional): n/a
Gender: Female
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 31 seasons (adult)
Species: Shrew
Rank: Log-a-Log/part-time Vigil warrior
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Guosim)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Chrysanthe is of normal height and weight for a shrew, measuring just a teensy bit taller than most shrews due to her being Log-a-Log (and Log-a-Logs are usually tall). She wears a cream colored tunic with a dark red vest over it, and carries both a dagger and a cutlass when it comes down to fighting.
Personality: It's hard for Chrysanthe to get on somebeast's' bad side unless they're a creature that thinks everybeast is against them. She's a skilled with a sword and will do anything to make sure Mossflower is a safe place for all creatures, but won't judge a book by its cover--she's proven that time and time again.
Chrysanthe is a shrew who typically won't give up just because her allies "think she should" because it might be dangerous. Bring on the danger, for crying out loud!
Other: Log-a-Log's real name is Chrysanthe and her favorite color is red. Her favorite fruit is raspberries.
Abbot Grant
Spoiler
Name: Abbot Grant
Nickname? (Optional): n/a
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 60 seasons (senior)
Species: Mouse
Rank: Abbot
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Redwall)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Abbot Grant is a short brown mouse with brown fur and brown eyes. He wears a normal green Abbey habit and glasses, and usually looks unamused, though that doesn't particularly mean he doesn't like you. He's just tired, being an Abbot and all.
Personality: Abbot Grant is a rather laid back and timid mouse who's actually quite reserved until he gets to know you. It's not that he doesn't want to talk or is trying to be rude; he's just more of a quiet kind of mouse.
Other:
Abbot Grant is great friends with Log-a-Log Chrysanthe.
Vadoma
Spoiler
Name: Vadoma
Nickname? (Optional): n/a
Gender: Female
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 56 seasons (middle-aged)
Species: Fox
Rank: Seer (formerly Rapshade's seer)
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Bad
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Vadoma is a mysterious vixen with gray fur and dark green eyes, and has a scar on her left cheek, just like Rapshade. She wears a green cloak and lots of jewelry; mainly gold bracelets.
Personality: Again, Vadoma is mysterious. She keeps to herself and does her job; not because she cares about who she's working for, but because she likes her job.
Other:
She can take some of the credit for raising Rapshade after his mother died. She's been working for his family all her life.
Alfhild
Spoiler
Name: Alfhild
Nickname? (Optional): Evil Aunt Alfhild (as Rapshade calls her), Chief (as referred to by her horde)
Gender: Female
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 68 seasons (senior)
Species: Ferret
Rank: Horde Leader
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Bad
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Alfhild is taller and more well-fed than Rapshade. Her eyes are ice blue and her fur has the coloring of a common ferret, with some gray here and there because of her age. Alfhild's claws are long and sharp, just like her teeth, and she wears a dark green cloak with the hood usually up, along with jingly bracelets and a ton of rings on her paws. She also has a golden ring around her tail, which she got on a raid when she was young.
Personality: Alfhild may be old, but that means absolutely nothing to her. It doesn't seem to hold her back at all, and none of the vermin in her horde daresay anything about her age--after all, they have witnessed for themselves that age does not dictate how vicious one can be.
She's always been (personality wise) creepy in one way or the other. If her viciousness won't send her enemies running, something she says will.
She never takes "no" for an answer...Even if it's been many years since she's seen you.
Other: Alfhild is Rapshade's aunt. She is from his father's side of the family, and would constantly give him and Fang trouble when they were kids, to the point that the ferret's mother had to chase her away.
She assumed her nephew was long-dead until she heard the news of the sinking ship, and of Redwall.
Now she wants Redwall.
Max
Spoiler
Name: Max
Nickname? (Optional): Maxy
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 5 seasons (Dibbun)
Species: Squirrel
Rank: Dibbun
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Redwall)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Max is a small light furred (almost white) squirrel, with oversized ears and a large, fluffy tail. He has bright hazel eyes and wears a gray long sleeved tunic that is noticeably too big for him.
Personality: Max is as curious and playful as any Dibbun, but there's something about him that reminds Duncan and some of the other Redwallers of Mixy.
Other:
Max is an orphaned squirrel whom arrived at the gates two days before winter began. Duncan instantly took a liking to him.
Roscoe
Spoiler
Name: Roscoe
Nickname? (Optional): n/a
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 25 seasons (young adult)
Species: Weasel
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Bad
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Roscoe is a short weasel that wears a torn red cloak. He looks pretty normal for a weasel, fur-wise, and has brown eyes.
Personality: Roscoe is sneaky and snarky (and quite rude!) but a coward when it comes to fighting. He actually doesn't even mean half the things he says.
Other: Roscoe the weasel was my character in the first Roleplay I started on the Redwall forum, "Welcome to Redwall Abbey!"
!!!~~
Can't post the forms until mane tomorrow, but I was thinking about putting anacharater in with the Vigil. Is that alright?
That's up to Groddil since his character is the one leading it.
So, Groddil, whatcha say? ;)
My characters:
Spoiler
Name: One-Ear
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): Young Adult (18 seasons)
Species: Fox
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Vigil)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Gray coat with white patches. Only has one ear (duh) due to a badger attack in his youth. Has a large scar around his stomach region from a fight with Redfang in Part 1. Wears a suit of light chainmail over a tough woven tunic emblazoned with the symbol of the Vigil. He fights with a small crossbow and his father's blade, a katana from across the seas.
Personality: One-Ear was initially kind, forgiving, and acted very mature for his age. Now he's shell-shocked with a rough exterior, determined on hunting down and destroying all vermin bands within Mossflower at any cost.
Other: One-Ear founded the Vigil, a group of woodlanders that roam the woods protecting Redwall Abbey. He is the son of Threeclaw and Mortembell. Deceased.
Name: Damien Branchsnatcher
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): Young adult (20 seasons)
Species: Squirrel
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Vigil)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Damien is a sturdy red-squirrel and a friend of One-Ear's. He carries several scars from his life at the Vigil and is blind in one eye. He wears loose Vigil tunic and a pair of woven climbing gloves. He fights with a sling and dagger.
Personality: Damien believes One-Ear's cause, but not his methods. While the squirrel agrees that Mossflower should be safe, he doesn't approve completely of the fox's "Kill 'em all" policy.
Other: Damien is One-Ear's second-in-command at the Vigil. He was once a Redwaller, but could never take the hustle and bustle, so he left as soon as he could. Deceased.
Name: Mortembell
Gender: Female
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): Middle-Aged (43 seasons)
Species: Fox
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Redwall)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Mortembell is an arctic fox from the Land of Ice and Snow. As can be expected, her fur is white. She has a nick in her ear and a scar on her arm from the battle with Rapshade's crew. She swapped her tattered healer's clothing for a Redwall robe in her time at the Abbey. Mortembell uses a broadsword from Redwall's armory whenever she is forced to fight.
Personality: Mortembell warmed up greatly during her time at Redwall. She is very friendly with other Abbeybeasts, but when she makes enemies, she REALLY makes enemies.
Other: Mortembell is the Redwall Recorder. She was Threeclaw's widow and is One-Ear's mother.
Name: Drubble
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): Adult (28 seasons)
Species: Mole
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Redwall)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Drubble is a mole with black, velvety fur. He has a gray streak that runs down one of his arms, but is pitch black besides that. Due to the hands-on nature of his job, he swapped his robe for thin, sleeveless tunic and a belt. The closest thing to a weapon he has is a mallet for cracking open barrels.
Personality: Drubble is like many other moles; sensible , good-hearted, and always willing to get the job done. He is also quite shy; whenever compliments are made about his drinks, he tends to withdraw quietly back to the cellars. The mole often holds conversations with Rapshade, although they tend to be one-sided.
Other: Drubble is the Redwall Cellarmole.
Name: Stumbly
Gender: Female
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): Dibbun (5 seasons)
Species: Mouse
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good (Redwall)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Stumbly is a mousebabe, especially small for her species. She has curly golden fur impossible to comb. She wears a small blue dress and (obviously) has no weapons.
Personality: Stumbly is a troublemaker. 'Nuf said.
Or, click here for some better information
Stumbly is the bane of Ava's existence. Cute but deadly, this sweet sounding mousebabe takes it upon herself to spread chaos throughout the Abbey with a gang of like-minded Dibbuns. Mortembell tries to teach her to act more responsibly, but to no avail.
Other: Stumbly was orphaned at a young age. Since part 1, Mortembell has taken to caring for her.
Name: Muddle
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): Adult (32 seasons)
Species: Hedgehog
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Bad (Eyeless One)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Muddle is a hedgehog with many, many scars, missing spines, and a hideously grotesque face courtesy of getting an axe to the face from Redfang. As a result, he is blind, although still sees through his visions. Muddle's green Abbey robe has been shredded, and the remaining rags are the hedgehog's only clothing. He attacks his enemies with sharpened claws and a long knife.
Personality: Muddle is completely insane. He has changed in every way since he was attacked and blinded by Redfang one season ago. He tore out Begskin's eyes and the two of them terrorize the woodlands. One-Ear's attempts to find and kill them have failed.
Other: Muddle was once Fergbar's Assistant Cellarhog. After being attacked by Redfang, he went insane, killed Fergbar, tried to kill everyone else in the Abbey, and fled into the woods with Begskin.
Name: Begskin
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): Adult (30 seasons))
Species: Stoat
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Bad (Eyeless One)
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Begskin is a stoat with the standard stoat coloring. Due to an extended period of time in Rapshade's now defunct pirate crew, Begskin is scrawny, thin, and dirty. Unfortunately for him, siding with Muddle meant becoming like Muddle. The hedgehog ripped out Begskin's eyes, and the stoat is now irredeemably insane just like his partner-in-crime. He wears the same rags that were his "uniform" as a pirate, and carries a rusty cutlass.
Personality: Begskin was once a rather dim, if not entirely willing, member of Rapshade's crew. When he was captured by the Redwallers, he escaped with Muddle, which led to his descent into insanity. He is now just as crazy as Muddle.
Other: Begskin was once one of Rapshade's Pirates. He now assists Muddle in murdering travellers.
Sagetip can make a character in the Vigil, its fine with me.
Awesome! I'll add them soon. ;D
Updated everything!
Name: Ava
Nickname? (Optional): N/A
Gender: Female
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): I don't remember her age in the first one. Really old.
Species: Badger
Rank: Badgermum
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good, Redwall.
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Ava opts to wear the normal Redwall habit.
Personality: A typical badger mum, Ava acts stern around the Dibbuns but is fiercely protective and has a soft spot for the babes.
Other: N/A
Name: Asher
Nickname? (Optional):
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 24
Species: Squirrel
Rank: Soldier in the Vigil.
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good, Vigil
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Asher is a totally black squirrel with the tip of his tail grey instead of black. His eyes are a soft brown.
Weapons: He wields a longbow with black-fletched arrows and a dirk for close combat.
Personality: Rough and abrasive, Asher has a short temper and, while he doesn't hesitate to do the right thing, he is stubborn and often rushes into things. A skilled fighter, he puts his skills to use as the leader of a small raiding group who opts to use the tactics employed by Asher's ancestor, Lady Amber.
(Asher's team will just be NPC's)
Name: Fardan
Nickname? (Optional):
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 35
Species: Wildcat
Rank: Second leader of the
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Bad.
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Fardan wears a special tunic which he has merged with an extremely thin piece of armor, creating an article of clothing that conceals his armor. He wields a long, basket-hilted rapier which he carries a whetstone for in his pocket. His fur is brown with spotted black and black rings around his tail.
Personality: Fardan complements Alfhid's personality well. Reserved and formal, an elegant figure in and of itself, he prefers careful planning and lying in wait. As a careful tactician, Fardan uses lower officers as his lackeys, rarely joining in the fight himself. Even then, he is an excellent fencer.
Other:
Alright so I decided after some consideration and I decided to change Rayne from squirrel to mouse. Yes I know its random and is weird because she was a squirrel in the previous RP however she never really did anything squirrely, and there are far to many in this RP already. Besides I also want her to be a mouse because reasons.
So just pretend she was a mouse all along and you'll see that almost nothing changes. Other then her being a mouse. So yeah.
Sandpaw's Cast
Name: Bracklew
Nickname: Brack
Gender: Male
Age: Teen (16)
Species: Squirrel
Side: Woodlanders
Rank: Abbey Warrior
Appearance: A tallish adolescent squirrel with dark red fur and hollow brown eyes. His once slightly plump body with glossy fur is now sinewy and dull from nearly a full season of strength and sword training. He wears a thick brown snow tunic held by his black sword belt which loops around his waist and right shoulder. He covers his forepaws with clawless black gloves and his footpaws in cloth wrappings. He often goes bareheaded, but wears brown scarf around his neck.
Personality: Distant and moody Bracklew often refuses to attend parties or feasts spending his time in solitude either practicing or training in some way. His friend a rabbit named Petu is the only creature that can make Bracklew open up. While the squirrel isn't downright rude he will often give short answers and try to break off any conversation that other Abbey dwellers attempt to make.
Other: His left paw is practically useless as the thumb and index claw are damaged beyond repair. While he can use his pinkie, ring, and middle claw to some degree the old wound is stiff and painful. Bracklew has adapted to the wound though he doesn't like to discuss it.
Name: Grah the Krah
Nickname: Grah, great Krah, or Deathbird
Gender: Female
Age: Adult (28)
Species: Crow
Side: Alfhild's horde
Rank: Second in Command
Appearance: A large imposing bird Grah is famous for her large deadly talons and very raven like beak. Her wingspan is massive nearly as long as a grown wildcat and her black eyes are merciless. She has black and silver feathers with orange dye painted in patterns around her eyes and down her back.
Personality: A cruel flesh eater Grah has no qualms of what she or her tribe kills and eats. Whether it's her own allies or random creatures found. She is naturally random and not the least bit disciplined. She has also developed a bit of insanity after murdering her father and mother to take over the crow flock. She is also infatuated with the color orange and silver. Grah isn't brightest bird, however she is the biggest and the badest.
Other: Grah has a small tribe of birds that answer only to her. She was drawn into Alfhild's service with promises of silver and meat which the tribe found difficult to find. Grah had the vermin put orange markings on her, and forced her tribe to bear the same markings.
Name: Rayne Hummingwolf
Nickname: N/A
Gender: Female
Age: Adult (31)
Species: Mouse!
Side: Redwall
Rank: Infirmary Keeper
Appearance: Rayne is a small but cheerful mouse with light brown fur which is tinged with gray, and blue eyes. She wears a simple green habit common amongst the Redwallers however she also carries a healers satchel at almost all times.
Personality: Rayne is strict but pleasant with very little qualms about getting her paws dirty. Stress from the previous battle with Rapshade left her exhausted and slightly sick however she recovered quickly with her positive attitude. She is often checking and double checking that everything is in order, and in its proper place.
Other: Rayne is now a mouse!
Name: Aver/Skipper
Nickname: Skip/Ave
Gender: Male
Age: Adult (20)
Species: Otter
Side: Woodlanders
Rank: Skipper of Otters
Appearance: Aver is rather short of an otter with sleek brown fur and dark eyes. He wears a simple winter tunic with a rope belt where his sling and stone pouch are hung.
Personality: Aver is a very typical otter, playful and kind, yet logical. He tends to play along with the dibbuns, however he can be very helpful when he needs to be. Aver isn't much of a leader, however he can make decisions with logical choice very well.
Other: Aver is the leader of Redwall's otters. He is also the second born son of late Skipper.
Alright that should be everyone character-wise. However I do have a few NPCs that I would like to list, but not make an entire character sheet for. They are Petu the Rabbit who is about Bracklew's age, and Grah's tribe of crows about forty in total.
So that's all.
Awesome! ;D
I'm perfectly fine with Rayne being a mouse now. In fact, in another RP I'm in somebody changed their character from a mouse to a fox, and it still worked out. A squirrel to a mouse should be fine. XD
Adding everyone's characters now, and then I'll make the Roleplay thread! Woohoo!
All right, it's up! ;D
Name: Zaxian Claw
Nickname? (Optional): None.
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 39
Species: Stoat
Rank: Military Strategic Adviser.
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Bad.
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): He is often seen wearing chain-mail armor, with a brown tunic underneath. His fur is mostly brown and he has a white underbelly. This does little to hide his many battle scars, the most notable one is a missing half of his left ear. Zaxian also wears a Sallet Helmet during battle. His weapon is the Halberd, which he carries at his side or on his back at all times. For close-quarter combat, carries a single-handed sword.
Personality: Zaxian is a strict and purposeful leader, but he is also very wise when it comes to disciplining soldiers and forming battle strategies. He works well with others, often turning a simple idea into a better one. In terms of loyalty, he believes in his cause, and will fight alongside his leaders through thick and thin. You will find him in the forefront of the battle, throwing everything he can at his enemy.
Other: N/A
Um Conrad... This is a private RP, sorry man.
Ashleg let him join.
He did.... Ah ok. Cool welcome Conrad.
Name: Needle Buckhorn.
Nickname? (Optional): Bucky.
Gender:Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 22
Species: Hare
Rank: Significant Vigil Member
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good.
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Needle wears a green and brown tunic, which helps him blend into the forest around him. His fur is a light brown color, with some darker patches of brown scattered throughout. He is known as a master of stealth, quickly brandishing his knife to do quick work to the enemy. He stands tall (as most hares do) at almost 6 ft. Needle is quick and light on his feet. He can barely be heard disturbing the foliage when he approaches both friend or foe. Besides his knife, he carries a sling in the event that he is surrounded by multiple enemies. Needle's natural strength comes in handy too, for he knows how to attack properly with both his paws and feet.
Personality: He is usually a cheerful fellow, but quick to take offense to things that shouldn't offend him. As with any hare, he is a hefty eater, winning most eating competitions. He likes to joke around a lot, but once he is faced with a threat that may endanger him or his friends, he is as serious as can be.
Other: N/A
You're in. :)
Also, NOW it's closed and I won't be accepting anybody else. XD
So, since Conrad left, Ashleg took control of Needle. If there are no objections I'd like to take Zaxian, because I don't have any vermin characters.
Do it.
Certainly.
Hey so I decided to start picking out some theme songs for our characters just for laughs. So I started surfing through Youtube and my music files going. "Hm, naw, hm, sure, hm perfect, hm no." For about two days, because it was a bigger challenge then I expected. Turns out we have a lot of characters between the four of us. So I wasn't able to do everyone, and some of the characters haven't had a lot of time in the spotlight so they're songs are as good as I could find. Some of them I feel like I got down pat, others are a little more iffy. Let me know what ya'll think.
So here they are.
Bracklew
This was one of the easy choices, Battle Cry by Skillet just works.
Grant
Grant was a little more challenging. I don't suppose this shows his character perfectly, but it does an average job. Beautiful Day by U2.
Rapshade
Eazzzy choices, and such a phenomenal character deserves two theme songs. Viva La Vida by Coldplay represents the broken defeated Rapshade while Torn by Disturbed represents his more awesome pirate captain side. Both songs are amazing, but Viva La Vida kills it in representation.
Next,
Rayne
Another easy choice, though this one is harder to see belonging to this particular character. As you listen to the song however you see more and more of Rayne Hummingwolf in How to Save a Life by The Fray.
Ava
So this was the first real challenge. Ava is a great character but there is no song that represents her. Eventually I said whatever, she gets Fight Song by Rachel Platten going off of how she was able to abandon her cane. I was going to go with what doesn't kill you makes you stronger but it didn't fit as well as Fight Song did.
Fangfang
Alright so this choice might not make much sense. But listening to Broken Arrows by Avicii just sounds like Fangfang. I dunno how to explain it. Just listen to the song and think about Fang.
Farden
Farden is one of those characters that just hasn't been seen a lot of. It made it difficult to pick him a theme song, but I think Light 'em Up by Fallout boy does him justice.
Duncan
Heh, this was originally a joke, but you know it fits Duncan pretty well. Except for the hunting hare bit, Rocky Road to Dublin by Dubliners
Alfhild
Power of the Horde by L70ETC! I haven't seen much of Alfhild, so I did the best I could. And it works pretty well in my opinion.
One-Ear
Another challenge, but I think I nailed it pretty good. There are some rougher vocals in there that I'm not to fond of but overall, Vengeance Falls by Trivium is great for One-ear.
Vadoma
This was a challenge, and I'm not entirely happy with Control by Halsey was the closest I could get. And like I said, I don't think it works well with Vadoma's characters. So his one is open for change.
Asher+Team
Great choice for some solid characters. Besides Asher, Brush, Harman, and Applelad have a pretty good chance at becoming Legends by Razihel.
They might also end up dancing at a rave, you never know.Grah the Krah
Oh boy this one was a toughie. Now for the record I found a perfect song for her, Bloodbath by Suicidal Angles. But I couldn't understand what was being said and after looking up the lyrics I decided against getting myself banned from the forum. So instead I went with another Razihel song called Children of the Night. Its a rave, but it works for Grah.
BTW I was slightly disappointed by the shortage of lyrics, so just know after about three minutes and thirty seconds in you've basically listened to the whole thing. But its catchy so you might find it worth listening to the whole thing.
Muddle+Begskin
Heh, so two Perfectly Insane characters get the song Perfect Insanity by Disturbed. What a coincidence. When I found this song I was like, "Nailed it!"
Aver
Hm, not a lot can be said about this one. I suspect it will begin to make more sense later on in the RP. Still I Wont Back Down by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers *CoughJohnnyCashCough* is a good song for Aver.
Mortembell
heh, just joking. ;D
For Real
Conqueror by Estelle is the song for Mortembell, no really it is.
Roscoe
That's all folks.
*SCREAMS LOUDLY*
Unholy weasel, I thought I was the only one that looks for theme songs for characters! Yaaaaaaaggh!
I have some to share too, and at first I was hesitant but now I'm not. Heeheehee.
I'm gonna listen to those starting now because there's a whole lot, and comment on 'em when I'm done.
Then I'll post mine.
*screams again*
Alright... Have fun :)
And yeah, that's not even our full cast, I left out Drubble, Damien, Needle, Naxilain, Rusk, the dibbuns and a few others because they are minor parts, and Saltooth, Mixy, and Jetfur because they were dead.
I only listened to the ones for my characters so far, but I found them 100% accurate.
Thanks, I wasn't sure about Mortembell, but I'm glad you agree.
I love the songs for my characters, especially Duncan's! XD
That's actually pretty darn close to how I imagined his voice, and for it to be in such a fitting song... ;D
I also think that Viva la Vida is a great choice for Rapshade (thanks for that compliment by the way! ;)) And man, that is a good song in itself. I've always loved it.
Grah's was pretty great, and...Uptown Funk for Roscoe is just yesssss. ;D
I'm not done listening to all of them yet, though. Expect more feedback. :3
And here's one of the songs I had...
Fangfang to Rapshade
Spoiler
Fang's perspective on how he is with Rapshade. It'll make more sense once I explain what happened a bit more and get the comic going (YES, COMIC, YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!) But anyway.... This song is about 100% accurate for them so I just had to share it. Lyrics start around a minute and 25 seconds in, but whatever.
You're making a comic?!?!!?!
Must...read!!!
/me drools.
Yessir, I'm making a comic! ;D ;D
About Fangfang and Rapshade and Alfhild and why Rap's so nasty. (It'll probably make everyone sad but whatever. XD )
Wow. Just wow.
@Ashleg: I was actually going to copy and past the RP, trim some bits, add some stuff, and turn it into a novelized version, but eh, too much work.
I'm gonna take a look at my music and throw in my suggestions.
EDIT: Okay, so I'm planning here and I've decided that I'm gonna put a spin on it and go with some classical music.
Expect a lot of Lord of the Rings.
Here we go. A very (not very) slight change of plan, I'm just randomly choosing from different genres for each character. So yeah. If any of these songs have an inappropriate word please accept my humble apologies.
One-Ear and the Vigil
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UuyeYdQnI4
Asher and the team
This isn't the most accurate song, but the general tone of it seemed pretty good to me. (The "one maniac at a time" part really hit me as being part of the RP)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKOlBZJ7Izs
Mortembell
This was kind of easy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp2Hwi9qM48
Rapshade
This wasn't a perfect fit, but it does a pretty good job. (Another FOB song)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBr7kECsjcQ
Alfhid
This wasn't a perfect fit either, but it gets the point across. The peice goes from playful to dark in a second.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-hG-ACbuFY
Roscoe
When I chose this song I though that it was good because of the more playful instrumentals that have a few dramatic moments (basically Roscoe's life)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRh-dzrI4Z4
Bracklew
I had to choose two songs for him, one for his heroic side and the other for his... Downtrodden side.
Heroic side:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VGJGXMUhmc
Other side:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ko9TpduOhE
Note for the second one it gets considerably more upbeat further into the song, so I only mean the first part.
And because I can I thought later on of a better song for him all together: (a third FOB song)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-hG-ACbuFY
Grant
Another oldie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t314wo05ElI
Alright that's enough for now. I'll add some later.
(Sorry fr all the characters I missed)
I've been picking up some good quotes from the RP, the first two are from Sand.
"Laughing uproariously Petu mutilated a head of cauliflower with his knife while speaking to Grant."
"Good morning Drubble, did you crush your paw under a barrel again?"
Haha, sweet. ;D
;D Yeah haha those weren't too bad. ;)
I found a great song for how Bracklew feels about the Vigil.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qb_hqexKkw8 (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qb_hqexKkw8)
This is pure gold. ;D

Just going to quote that awesome line right here. Don't mind me. ;D
""I, too, can smell the bread baking....Burning. Burning?!""
I can't believe none of ya'll have mentioned anything on my impromptu rat character Fastooth... ;D I mean he's a literal copy of Saltooth, because I'm so creative sometimes.... :-[
I was thinking that, but I actually like him.
But then again, I liked Saltooth,too...

Grenlik seems to have been forgotten as well...
I'm just going to fix this little passage. ;)
Quote"They're a horde, Needle. We have an army Hulk. A army Hulk they aren't expecting. A well-trained army Hulk. Plus, we have Sheba CAPTAIN AMERICA..."
The badger reached the path going south and started walking along it.
"We just have to get home, find food along the way. Then, all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place..."

Perfect. :)
What the heeeeeck? XD
Sounds good Sage,
So does anyone have anything they'd like to do with their characters so that we can fit that into the plan?
I know I want Bracklew to get interrogated and then escape coming up here fairly soon, and he'd probably run into Petu and or Ava. Depending on when this happens. ;)
Ok. So I suppose that whether or not Rapshade gives Fardan any information, he'll go to torture Bracklew into giving him something. And when he escape, Fardan can follow him and then the thing can happen.
WHAT THING
It was one of my ideas that I PMed you before the RP started.
Oh, the Ava thing?!
That's down, it'll happen. :)
SHSHSHSHSHSHHHHHHHHHHHH DONT SAY A WORD
Does anyone else ever read our discussion thread? I'm sure the secret is safe Sage. ;)

Should we start up Part Three? ;D
Maybe we'll have an infinite amount of sequels.
You know this one is already far longer then the original. BTW someone tell Groddil to post in the RP. ;)
I would use the shout box if we had one.
@Groddil: POST
Part two isn't done, why would we start up part three?
That's like writing half of a book and then starting to write a new one!
True, but this part is a lot longer, and a whole lot more successful. I'm impressed Ashes, you've done good.
Thank you so much. ;')
But it wouldn't' expectations been possible without you guys!
Well I played a relatively minor role in the first one (all of my characters being expendable) and in this one half of my characters are destined to die... I'd like a main character on the good side I think it's all you guys.
Your characters dying is your own choice, mate. XD
Make a new one if you want!
This late into the RP?
Nah I'm good. I'll wait until the third for a chance at glory.

I have a feeling that this song would fit into the RP somewhere though I don't know who or what. So far I'm thinking Rapshade or something...

Don't ask why.
Oh my goodness, Sherlock Holmes... XD
I have trouble fitting songs without lyrics to any character, but I could hear it in the background during a fight scene or something.
I was obsessively listening to it, and just randomly wondered... It would probably work better with a different RP. ;D :P
To all three of you (don't think about it, just answer in context of the question and then I'll elaborate ;)); is this rude?

"Hey hey hey, please be careful!"
Umm...Nooooo.......
I suppose it depends on what was occurring and where you were but for the most part I wouldn't see it as rude. :-\

Ok well I was implying that Bracklew approached the fight and Ava noticed? Unless you want to do it differently.

Maybe, maybe not.
Option one gives Rap more hatred towards Alfy and option two doesn't really do much except please me.
He might not even die, I can have something intervene last minute.
Depending on how I feel... >.<
Do people besides me actually like Fang? I get the feeling sometimes that I'm the only one who likes him.
Also. GRODDIL. ;) ;D
I'm truly curious.Rapshade said that after Mortembell irritably tossed a saltshaker at Duncan and it bounced off the hare's ears and cracked on the floor (thus meaning the ferret must clean it up).
And that's exactly what he said.
Then they started commenting about him and he got mad and attacked her and it would make sense for Morty to beat him
since he did attack her, but instead everybeast kept going to the fact that he told them to "please be careful".
I actually really like Mortembell. XD
So nothing against her, I just was wondering... Why was
that the thing that set her off? He's said much worse than that passive quote, I'm sure.
Basically, what spawned this conversation is that I was daydreaming and my mind drifted there and I was like, maybe he sneered it? But nope, XDQuote from: Groddil on March 15, 2016, 05:28:52 AM

I got nothing against Fang. He's just the perfect character to sic other charries on, though. >:D
Fang doesn't appreciate everyone attacking him, mate. -.-
He won't have to when he's dead
Nah, then Alfhild will take his role and Rapshade will be the one doing the beating up.
Alternate endings:
Fardan backstabs Alfhild and takes control of the horde
Duncan undergoes a black ops mission and assassinates the horde leaders
Fangfang turns traitor and fights for the horde
Rapshade and Alfhild form a familial bond and become dual leaders
Ava kills Fardan instead
Bracklew gets an iron hook and becomes a pirate, losing his sanity

I'd like for Rappy to show that upstart Gren why he was called "the Swift".
Towards the end, my friend. ;D
He's gonna go all Swiftish on them.
Mixy's death was better.
Mixy was more of a main character and she was killed by the main villain. Of course it was. x3
I'm so jealous of this RP! It's brilliant! Just wish it hadn't been before my time.
Anyways, I'm just here to say good work on it. I'm skimming a bit here and there. ;D
You should have seen the original one on the old forum. ;D
Thank you!
And aye, I'm very sad to have lost that huge amount of the first roleplay. I hope it will come back one day. :'(
Rapshade's irrational, he's trying to stop Grenlik from... Putting Fangfang out of his misery.
Smart ferret. :P
I don't think I can think of a time Rapshade was ever rational.
Why doesn't he just put the spearpoint to Gren's throat? Or else demonstrate how quickly he could run him through.
He just wants Grenlik to put Fang down before he does anything like that. :D
He flipped out and killed two crewmembers last time just because he thought they overheard he was sick... is restraint really part of his character?
When he did that, they weren't threatening to kill his only friend. :P
He's trying to save Fang so why would he do something that would guarantee he'd get killed?
He's got the skill to prevent it and still kill Grenlik: Emphasis on "swift".
Yeah, he would, if GRODDIL WOULD PSOT! ;)

Nonsensical Plot Twists that Shouldn't Happen, Ever
•Vadoma and Mortembell are revealed to be the same person. Dun dun dun!
•Saltooth didn't die, he changed his name to Fastooth and allied with Alfhild.
•Ava was actually a supernatural being with healing powers from the future, and that's why she overcame her cripple so easily.
•Grant is the real villain. (Seems probable.)
•Fang is faking being stupid just to get back at Rapshade for being such a jerk.
•One-Ear actually has two ears.
•Mixy pretended to die just so she could get away from Bracklew, and is still alive to this day.
...S-so heartbreaking...

So people what's the plan for the next stage of the RP? I've got a basic map of what I want some of my characters to do, but I want to hear ya'lls ideas too. Where should our RP head next?
I was thinkin' we'd have a few attacks on Redwall like in the books, because we still have character development to get through (at least I do with Rapshade).
Also, I was planning on getting Log-a-Log back in the story.
Well there are several points that need to be covered by more than one character/person.
-Rapshade/Fangfang/Alfhild (inner conflicts of the horde)
-The next attack on Redwall
-The Vigil's war against the horde, their inevitable counterattack
I don't have many ideas in mind for my characters, apart from the small revenge story Asher'll have going on with Brush being killed and all. Maybe I'll do something with Fardan but right now I'm just hanging around. Although I was thinking of making one or two new characters, an otter and/or a shrew to populate the empty Guosim and Otter clans, seeing that Ava is no longer an RP option.
So yeah.
Yes, those plot points...and...Grant slowly losing his marbles.
Not to the point of Muddle, just a further extension on what he's already like. "Deny, deny, deny!"
Grant losing his marbles?
Like, going crazy?
Like, slipping off the edge a bit more.
Again, not Muddle-crazy, moreso overcome by anxiety and denial.
Like he already is.
Just further on the extreme.
Those sound good.
I have this great idea for Bracklew, which I'm still thinking over. But that'll be way later on so I'll PM when necessary. I don't want to spoil anything yet.
As for what Fastooth is doing, basically he plans on getting a small team flown over the walls by the crows during the night, and having them poison the Abbey out. But thanks to the Vigil's new Moledeep the defenders can forage in the forest for necessary supplies, but it'll still put a strain on Redwall.
Also I was thinking that the horde probably ought to put Redwall under a real siege here pretty soon. Like they'd actually be camped outside the walls, surrounding the Abbey.
Soon for the seige, but not yet.
*points at Rapshade*
The other stuff sounds good, though!
If Fastooth is anything like Saltooth the crows are gonna have a tough time flying him over the walls.
@Ashleg: Wow, you actually put the quote in your signature. ;D ;D ;D I didn't know you liked it that much!
It takes two crows just to lift Fang, so it'll take just as many if not more to carry Fastooth. ;) And the poisoners will have to be rats, every other animal would be too big.
I had imagined that Fastooth and Saltooth were very similar, almost copies of each other. That gives me an idea...
Plot Twist: They are long lost brothers!
Thus One-Ear can continue his duel!
Saltooth vs. One-Ear - PART 2

;D ;D ;D
Oh, and guys, I'm an elder now.
OMG GOTTA POST THIS
On the subject of the siege, I don't know exactly how good it'd work. For instance, the closest thing to a siege would be Cluny's siege on the Abbey during the first book. They actually had to camp across the path, out of range of the arrows and slingstones. Plus, Redwall has never really been under strain, in terms of food. Nearly everything is grown within the walls, and the rest can just be gathered by the Vigil.
I guess I'm not really saying it wouldn't work, I'm just saying it wouldn't be very effective. The poisoning is similar. While it would have a pretty major effect on the Abbey, the crows have to get to wherever without being shot down by the wallguards. I guess they could fly so high they're out of range, and make their way down through the attics. ;) (hint hint)
EDIT: Oh, and in completely unrelated news, I found a nice lookin' symbol for the Vigil:

Oh turd muffins, this link isn't working. I'll fix it later.
EDIT: Should be an attachment...
Noice!
Fox gonna lose an eye to go with the ear?
Things're going pretty good with the story overall; One-Ear's power level bugs me, though. He strikes me (and has for a while) as overpowered. In particular, I don't think he should be able to disarm a berserking badger that easily. (I'm not sure about him being able to dodge so well, but I guess there are characters that've pulled that off in Redwall canon too.)
The spear toss also strikes me as a Tiria-ish moment, though that was from a minor character.
My thoughts on things aren't all negative. There was great characterization and buildup.

Seacloak was
very slow, considering he was wearing a full set of heavy plate armor. Dodging someone like that isn't hard. Plus, Seacloak didn't really get bloodwrath or anything until the very end when he knows he's losing.
I can at least say it was a quick battle. :P
Well, it might slow him down, but I'm not sure it'd slow him down
that much:
Benjamin Rose, a historical martial arts practitioner, suggests (http://www.benjaminrose.com/post/mobility-in-medieval-plate-armor/) that it would likely affect one's
stamina more than their mobility. That would have an impact on someone's movement over a long march or a real battle, but for a duel he suggests it'd be a non-factor. And anyway, stamina (after toughness) is the badger's hallmark, especially in Redwall. ;)
.
It was interesting, and well written. I was kind of disappointed that Seacloak was willing to use Needle as a back-up plan. I figured a character whose whole motivation of being bad was because he wanted to rid the world of dishonorable creatures would show some decency in a one on one engagement.
Besides Seacloak never actually lost the duel, technically he won. (By the way I thought that bit was great.) It would have been awesome if he'd survived and gone on to attack Redwall and the horde. But maybe he did.... Badgers are known for being unreasonably tough, and a female fox whose been a prisoner for who knows how long can't throw a spear that distance with deadly strength....
I think I'll change it from a spear to a bow or something. :P
Are you saying he's definitely, without a doubt dead? :'( Because that whole thing was just a big giant wink wink ;) to give Seacloak a reason to be alive. ;D ;)

Nah, mate, you got his motivations all wrong. He wants the fox family dead because they embarrassed him. He's got the whole thing against vermin because he's a "Classic Redwaller" (read: A rascist), but no morals to justify holding back the torture and stuff.

Even if he survives the arrow to the neck, fall into the pit, and doesn't get killed by Sheba, he's still stuck at the bottom of a pit in a city that hates him, where his guards are only loyal to him due to fear. Even if the loyalists won the melee at the grandstands, they'd probably see him stuck down there and finish him off with arrows or boulders or something. I just don't see a way to let Seacloak AND One-Ear live, but... Well, gimme some time and I'll see what I can do.
Just don't forget to of me know when I can post with Asher and the team.
Prezzers, I'll be putting up a few new character sheets soon.

Name: Gruddil
Nickname? (Optional):
Gender: Male
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 56
Species: Shrew
Rank: Senior officer in the Guosim
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Gruddil is getting on in years and has more than a few grey furs. Wearing the traditional colorful head bandana, he wears a tough shrew jerkin and wields a custom made rapier.
Personality: Gruddil is accustomed to ordering around younger subordinates and is a shrewd right hand to the Log-a-Log. Best described as a grumpy elder with a few tricks up his sleeve.
Name: Gillpaw
Nickname? (Optional): Gill
Gender: Female
Age (in seasons) (they should only be one season older than they were in the original): 23
Species: Otter
Rank: Otterclan member
Side (Good or bad, please. Let's limit the neutrals unless said character has a known reason to be so.): Good
Appearance (include clothing and weapons as well as physical appearance): Gillpaw is a strong young otter, good with a sling. She has a stone pouch hung from her belt, which is also where she keeps her sling and anything else she takes with her.
Personality: Gillpaw isn't afraid to throw her weight around. A jolly otter, she is also highly skilled in combat and doesn't hesitate to do the right thing. A recent addition to the otter crew she has proven her prowess with the sling and is well on her way to being a key member of the crew.
Gillpaw's very much a Mary Sue, but I'll stick a blade twixt her ribs soon enough. ;D
Gruddil sounds an awful lot like Groddil, don't it? :D
They're both accepted and I'll add in their names to the front page in a moment.
I default to changing the vowels for NPC names. And Gruddil rescued them in the first RP!
Added them!
;D
I'm going to be drawing now so I may not reply for a little.
Draw comics.
I will try.
Okay, I've redone all of the originals, plus made extras.

Species: Fox

One-Ear now has three long scars running down his face, and is missing an eye, due to being wounded by Seacloak. Wears a suit of light chainmail over a tough woven tunic emblazoned with the symbol of the Vigil. He fights with a small crossbow and his father's blade, a katana from across the seas. Having lost the katana, One-Ear now uses the curious weapon of The Governor.
Personality: One-Ear was initially kind, forgiving, and acted very mature for his age. Now he's shell-shocked with a rough exterior, determined on hunting down and destroying all vermin bands within Mossflower at any cost.

Mortembell
Name: Mortembell
Gender: Female
Age: Middle-Aged (43 seasons)
Species: Fox
Side: Good (Redwall)

She swapped her tattered healer's clothing for a Redwall robe in her time at the Abbey. Mortembell uses a broadsword from Redwall's armory whenever she is forced to fight.
Personality: Mortembell warmed up greatly during her time at Redwall. She is very friendly with other Abbeybeasts, but when she makes enemies, she REALLY makes enemies.
Other: Mortembell is Threeclaw's widow and is One-Ear's mother.
Shadomay
Name: Shadomay
Gender: Female

For defending herself, Shadomay is a good archer, and keeps a shortsword as a backup plan.
Personality: Whatever Shadomay's personality once was, it has been changed severely after her time in the Wetlands. Now, the vixen finds it difficult to trust others, and is quite sarcastic. She prefers to keep to herself, and will not indulge anybeast about her past.

Gukom
Name: Gukom
Gender: Male
Age: Adult (27 seasons)
Species: Hamster
Side: Good (Vigil)
Role: Vigil Scribe
Appearance: Gukom has golden fur, with a white underbelly. He is small, which is not helped by his timidness, and wears a robe emblazoned with the Vigil's symbol. Gukom has a dagger, but never uses it.
Personality: Gukom is very quiet and timid, which makes scribing the perfect job for him. Gukom has been known to have outbursts, but these are very rare.
Drubble
Name: Drubble Cellarmole
Gender: Male
Age: Adult (28 seasons)
Species: Mole
Side: Good (Redwall)
Role: Abbey Cellarmole
Appearance: Drubble is a mole with black, velvety fur.

Stumbly
Name: Stumbly

Personality: Stumbly is a troublemaker. 'Nuf said.
Or, click here for some better information

Other: Stumbly was orphaned at a young age.
Since part 1, Mortembell has taken to caring for her. During Mortembell's long absence, Stumbly has been assigned to Drubble's care.Amaline and Narzle

Personality: Narzle is carefree, often focusing on fun and not noticing the danger he gets himself into. Being the super-protective mother she is, Amaline is very wary of strangers, and will do anything to keep her young one from being injured.
Bad guys (in order of importance)Seacloak
Name: Seacloak
Gender: Male
Age: Middle-Aged (46 seasons)
Species: Badger
Side: Bad (Wetlands)
Role: Lord of the Wetlands
Appearance: Seacloak is massive, which in turn makes him slow. The badger's fur is dark grey in some places, and white in others. He commonly wears chainmail when needing to move quickly, but changes into full plate armor if he can before battle. Seacloak's body is covered in numerous scars from his younger days, when he would charge into battle like a madbeast. For his weapon of choice, Seacloak uses a battleaxe.
Personality: Seacloak has no soul. Lacking any morals or real personality, Seacloak is always in a bad mood. Having spent almost twenty seasons lying to his people about how he was wounded, which he says was due to a horde (but was actually Threeclaw), the badger strives to kill One-Ear's family and bring back their heads as proof he has destroyed the "horde." The Wetlands now knows of Seacloak's lies, and any control he still has over them is due to fear. Seacloak has a strong pride, which is why he refused to let Threeclaw's family go unharmed, but has no honor whatsoever, always turning to treachery for what he cannot win with brute force. Stabbed through the heart by Grenlik, deceased.
Grenlik
Name: Grenlik
Gender: Male
Age: Adult (27 seasons)
Species: Weasel
Side: Bad (Horde)
Role: Horde Chief Scout (formerly), Spy for Fury.
Appearance: Grenlik is short, and his dark brown fur has a faint green tinge to it. This makes him harder to spot in the woods, which is useful for the scout. He wears a reinforced tunic over a light set of chainmail, and wields a spear and cutlass.
Other: Grenlik does not trust Rapshade in the slightest.
Daxian
Name: Daxian Claw
Gender: Male
Age: Adult (39 seasons)
Species: Stoat
Side: Evil (Wanderer)
Role: Horde Chief Strategist (formerly), Wanderer
Appearance: He is often seen wearing chain-mail armor, with a brown tunic underneath Daxian wears rags, due to being a prisoner for some time. His fur is mostly brown and he has a white underbelly. This does little to hide his many battle scars, the most notable one is a missing half of his left ear. Daxian also wears a Sallet Helmet during battle. His weapon is the Halberd, which he carries at his side or on his back at all times. For close-quarter combat, carries a single-handed sword. Daxian wields a dagger and a crossbow stolen from the Vigil Camp.
Personality: Daxian is a strict and purposeful leader, but he is also very wise when it comes to disciplining soldiers and forming battle strategies. He works well with others, often turning a simple idea into a better one. In terms of loyalty, he believes in his cause, and will fight alongside his leaders through thick and thin. You will find him in the forefront of the battle, throwing everything he can at his enemy. After being disgraced, and spending time as a prisoner, Daxian now harbours great resentment for Alfhild. He is also... not quite right in the head. Drank poison in an attempt to kill Alfhild, deceased.
Muddle
Name: Muddle
Gender: Male
Age: Adult (32 seasons)
Species: Hedgehog
Side: Bad (Eyeless One)
Role: Leader of the Eyeless Ones
Appearance: Muddle is a hedgehog with many, many scars, missing spines, and a hideously grotesque face courtesy of getting an axe to the face from Redfang. As a result, he is blind, although still sees through his visions. Muddle's green Abbey robe has been shredded, and the remaining rags are the hedgehog's only clothing. He attacks his enemies with sharpened claws and a long knife. Muddle has now come into possession of One-Ear's katana.
Damien
Name: Damien Branchsnatcher
Gender: Male
Age: Young adult (20 seasons)
Species: Squirrel
Side: Good (Vigil) Bad (Eyeless One)
Role: Second-in-Command of the Vigil (formerly), Eyeless One
Appearance: Damien is a sturdy red-squirrel and a friend of One-Ear's. He carries several scars from his life at the Vigil and is blind in one eye. Damien is now completely blind, and has an extremely scarred face. He wears loose Vigil tunic and a pair of woven climbing gloves. He fights with a sling and dagger.
Personality: Damien believes in One-Ear's cause, but not his methods. While the squirrel agrees that Mossflower should be safe, he doesn't approve completely of the fox's "Kill 'em all" policy. He is also very stubborn Damien is completely mad.
Other: Damien is One-Ear's second-in-command at the Vigil. He was once a Redwaller, but could never take the hustle and bustle, so he left as soon as he could. Damien is currently being kept as a prisoner by the Vigil, due to his madness. Will die first chance I get.
Begskin
Name: Begskin
Gender: Male
Age: Adult (30 seasons)
Species: Stoat
Side: Bad (Eyeless One)
Role: Eyeless One
Appearance: Begskin is a stoat with the standard stoat coloring.
OtherFilargo
Name: Unknown
Nickname: Filargo
Gender: Male
Species: Watervole
Age: Adult (34 seasons)
Side: Neutral (woodlander)
Role: Woodlander
Appearance: Filargo is small yet plump, due to travelling by boat. His fur is a chestnut brown, and he wears a cloth bandana atop his head. He also wears a short kilt and a snakeskin belt, which several daggers are thrust into. His other weapon is a small blowpipe made from a reed, which many do not suspect as being a weapon until it is too late.
Personality: Filargo is a carefree beast, with no real friends, nor enemies. He is content to sail his large raft up and down the streams, ferrying travelers, woodlander or vermin alike, along for a small fee of food or other supplies. If you walk near a stream and hear a whistling noise, it could be a bird, or it could be Filargo, just paddling along. Be warned; however, for threatening the vole, or refusing to pay up, will leave you with a knife 'twixt your ribs, or a dart in your neck.
Other: Filargo is not this watervole's real name. It means "Fill 'er up an' go", his personal motto (Fill [the raft] up [with payment] and go [on it]).
Sweet, mate!
UPDATE THE MAIN PAGE MATE!!!
IN A BIT, MATE!
Also, I won't be on tonight, I'll be at my Grandma's house. SAWWY!
I won't be on for the next, hmmm... 16 hours? After I leave. :'(
I know that the Guosim have their own mission right now, picking up One-Ear, but
@LT Sandpaw is there anything that the otter crew will be doing soon?
Not really, they're mostly just patrolling the walls, and helping out in the Abbey. I could come up with something for them to do if you want. Like a scouting mission, or some such thing.
You don't have to, I was just wondering.
Edit: I actually just checked my original sheets and she's older then Aver, so that wouldn't work well. Maybe cousins then?
Sure, why not.
GUYS!!!
Would you be interested in a kinda lighthearted spinoff thing off of this before the summer ends?
I have it all written out but I won't post it if ya'll won't join, so-----

No no, it's not what would be considered "canon", if you know what I mean.
TELL.
BASICALLY, THE CHARACTERS ARE HAVING A SUMMER PARTY/FEAST/THING AND RAP AND HIS CREW WANT TO CRASH IT BECAUSE HE WASN'T INVITED and the Redwallers have to defend themselves but with party items.
And on it not being canon...
It would work like this.
The goodbeasts would know who Rap is and vice versa, but anything very serious that happened in this or the first roleplay wouldn't have happened (ex.deaths) so Mixy would be alive (and whoever died that you guys would want to be; not everybody has to be there.)
It'd go like this:
(R is for Redwallers and V is for vermin)
V: *stumbles across Redwall* You're having a feast? Let us in!
R: Oh no, he's evil, don't let them in!
V: *repeatedly tries to break in and fails while trying different things like in a cartoon*
And at the end Mr.Abbot and Rap would talk it out and realize that it was a misunderstanding and then, woo, EVERYBEAST'S ALLOWED IN AND BOOM HAPPY ENDING!
((AND IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IN THE ACTUAL STORYLINES SO NOT TO WORRY!))
Don't hate me...I told you it'd be lighthearted.
So, it's like a light-hearted spin-off alternate canon thingo? Sign me right up. (Hey, this means I can bring back Threeclaw, Redfang, and Vix. Mwahahaahahaha!)
Also, Fergbar'll be alive then, so I'll just play him or something. You want sheets? Cause I got sheets!
Hmm.
I don't particularly care for that idea.
:-\ Ya'll do you.
Anyway for the actual RP
@Ashleg should we time skip, like the others suggested? After Brack talks with Grant he was supposed to go look for Asher, and he wasn't supposed to find him. But all that can be done off-screen. Beyond that I don't have anything left to do with my characters.
We should do a spin off Office RP.

OOC:
Quote from: LT Sandpaw on August 08, 2016, 01:01:50 PM
"Relax, and no, I have nothing that can help with the pain." Clicking the lighter open Antonio Rayne ran the tiny flame up and down the scalpel blade. Satisfied that it was sanitary he took ahold of Eul's Bracklew's hand pinning it to his knee so she wouldn't be able to jerk it away. Swiftly as he could Antonio
Rayne cut through the small jagged bit of bone from where Byurn's teeth Fardan's rapier had torn through bone, along with the blackened flesh where mud and filth had caked. The cut would round off the wound, and keep any bone from remaining exposed. He winced inwardly and tightened his grip on her hand smearing a dab of antibiotics into the freshly bleeding wound. Winding a bandage around the hand to keep his handiwork clean.
"Well that wasn't too bad." He commented, the ordeal had taken less then five seconds to complete, something he had done on purpose. Not everyone was okay with getting that sort of surgery done. Better to do it fast. "It'll hurt of a little bit, and you'll need to change the bandage, but you... You should be able to still use your hand fairly well."
OOC: Slight PP :P
It's not perfect, but that's what I thought of.
Except with a wrist bone instead of a finger bone.

I almost died laughing. ;D That's totally what's going to happen, except he's going to have a peg tail as well. :P
He'd make quite a racket walking around the Abbey.

Sorry for not posting in a while, I'll hopefully get to it tomorrow.
A quick recap: @Ashleg So not much has happened so far, the Vigil have finished up making Moledeep into a subterranean base and Fastooth is suggesting that Fardan, Alfhild and himself speak in private in Alfhild's tent where the Groddil's character is waiting to kill Alfhild.
Meanwhile Sage and Grodds did a very neat little story where Gruddil the shrew dropped One-ear
his girlfriend and Co. off with a very dangerous vole. They're currently heading towards either Redwall or the Guosim I can't remember which.
Meanwhile Bracklew is (As Sage very accurately stated) having a self pity moment with Gillpaw as they check the gates.
A gripping part of the story let me say. A few other small things which I'm sure you remember. Fang is currently in Vadoma's tent and we are unsure whether he is still alive or not, Rayne has disappeared and is doing something in the Abbey, Aver is working, Asher and his team are sitting in a tree having a grand old time, Duncan and Petu are residing in the infirmary eating, while Grah does Krah things while fanaticizing about purple necklaces, I'm not sure what Muddle and his horde of
things are doing, probably nerding out over One-ear's katana, a group of Vigil have capture a rather foolish vermin, and yeah.
@Sagetip @Groddil Did I get everything?
I can just imagine a bunch of blind animals leaning over the katana with wides eyes, lit by candles and muttering words of worship.
Seems pretty accurate.
I never thought about this before; I'm guessing that Fang isn't literate?

I never thought about this before; I'm guessing that Fang isn't literate?
He was semi-literate at one time but not anymore, no.
I guess you can blame Rapshade for that.
*Skims a few pages*
waaaiiiiittt... Is FANG still alive!?!?
Seeing as he's following Grant into Redwall right now, yes?? XD
So once Fastooth and Grenlik work out their differences we ought to get the horde moving. BTW Ashleg, I'd like to do a clash between Grah and Vadoma if that's okay with you. Grah isn't going to be pleased that Fang got away from her.
Sure. ;D
Sorry to double post in my own thread, but how about sending Grah to get her prize from Rapshade? He's waitin'! ;)
Also, I edited my last post on the RolePlay thread so that somebody inside Redwall can respond.
SipTage! Psot with Asher!
What does he need to do? I was just going to have him do some random stuff in the woodland.
One-Ear's got a job for him. And he's getting impatient. :p
You didn't notice him stepping out towards the exit?
Anyway, I suppose I'll turn him around. Later, though, I'm working on a paper.
Plot Twists!
-Charm and Gillpaw are sisters
-Fang makes a deal with the devil so he can get his voice back
-Bracklew decides he should keep his other paw and stays with Gillpaw
-One-Ear is secretly hard of hearing
-Grant is a DORMOUSE
-Fang bathes in gold dust each morning (no wonder he changes his sheets so often)
-Grah the Krah is actually called Krah the Grah and has been hiding it since birth.
Also: No one is even lightly surprised by One-Ear's return from certain death?

-One-Ear is secretly hard of hearing Ya think?
-Grant is a DORMOUSE Well, nothing says he isn't...
-Fang bathes in gold dust each morning (no wonder he changes his sheets so often) WHERE DOES HE GET ALL THAT GOLD DUST?!
-Grah the Krah is actually called Krah the Grah and has been hiding it since birth. Heh.
Also: No one is even lightly surprised by One-Ear's return from certain death? Well, he IS a badass, after all. And there was no evidence that he died, just that he couldn't get out that one tunnel.

Huh? Yeah, and...? ???
The last time he did that he lost a paw...
What constitutes as rash in Gillpaw's book? ;D ;)
Question mark.
We've kinda posted to a standstill here, we need more things to happen. I say after this situation with Grah, Alfhild, and Rapshade is over Alfy gives orders to move the horde out.
Then we can move on to the actual attack and battles such as the confrontation with this stoat gang.
BTW Sage, pls post.
Also, Grodd, is One-Ear gonna try and talk to Fang?
That's not what I meant Sage. ;D :P
Didn't see the post here.
Prezzers: Mind if Fardan gives the orders? I've been taking James' "second fiddle" advice to heart. It'll give Fastooth something to do.
Second fiddle?
He can give orders for half the group but Alfhild's gonna take some of them and demolish the Guosim so that Redwall has no nearby allies to defend them..yup.
*sigh*
Ok.
WHAT'S A SECOND FIDDLE
You've never been in an orchestra, but it's a well known metaphor for second in command, or someone less skilled.
Can I play a major villain in part 3?
You're already playing Muddle.... :-\
I guess Muddle isn't that major.... Yet.
Well, Seacloak's getting offed at the end of this RP, and Muddle'll be eliminated pretty early in the next one, so for about 80% of part 3, I won't have any villains. :-\
Quote from: Groddil on September 05, 2016, 12:20:50 AM
Can I play a major villain in part 3?
Likewise, can I play a major hero?
If you don't want to keep Muddle than we can plot when it gets time for that, Groddil.
@Sagetip yes.
Muddle was never that major anyway... And...? Should I PM you an idea?
(He could be if you make him so.)
Sure, yeah.
Sand: I was going to have Fardan move the horde out (and then Alfhild does whatever). Fastooth can do stuff too.
Great, so Alfhild will attack the Guosim while Fardan moves on Redwall.
What about Asher?
Well I was going to have him humor bracklew and take him on the mission, but I honestly don't know how to write it, and I'd have to shake off Gillpaw.
Ok, well the situation is a little complicated. ;D
Personally I think Asher ought to object, but then Harnam steps in and pushes him to take Brack. Of course Gillpaw's gonna have to come along as well. But they are your characters, you've got the best idea of how they'd act. ;)
FYI, if Bracklew's tags along for the ride here, there's a pretty massive chance that it's going to mentally break him. You've been warned.
At this point it'll take a lot to mentally break Brack. ;D

Wait until Alfhild's attacking the Guosim. ;)
I'm going to dig through the RolePlay and make a list of moments where Abbot Grant is being savage. X"D
I thought Mortembell attacked Rapshade not Fang.
Mortembell said some things that offended Fang in the first RP and he insulted her, and then she attacked him. :P
She attacked Rapshade in this one, yes.
Hey
@Sagetip is it cool if I do minor things controlling Harnam. Nothing big, just little stuff.

Sure.
Anybeast long to be the new Log-a-Log?
That's work.
Anything else you guys want to do with the shrews before Gruddil comes to the rescue?
Shrew law states that a new log-a-log can't be chosen until the killer of the original has been slain. Unfortunately Rapshade killed her... So...
^ Reply in IC thread.
Yeah except the guy was evil, and was basically impeached. At least as far as I can remember that's what happened.
They're gonna have to break shrew law or Rapshade's gonna have to break it for them. Either way. ;)
Or, Rapshade could fake dying. A false victory for the shrews, perhaps.
Fake dying and what? Leading them on seems out of his way.
No, the shrews would think him dead. It's kind of a stupid idea once you think about it.
I don't think it matters that much. Honestly many of them might not be caring about shrew law right now, they've almost been exterminated.
Gruddil seems like a smart choice.
@James Gryphon He's back! ;D ;D ;D
Uh oh.

OOC: Fardan will see to that. I doubt Rapshade's that good at fencing.
He was a pirate captain for ages; what else do pirates do, especially in the Redwall world? ;)
The last time he fenced with someone, his sword broke. (Granted, it was Martin's sword that did it, but if he had been a good fencer...)
The last time he fenced with someone, someone (I think it was Grododile) PP'ed his sword breaking and I did nothing because he was supposed to lose anyway. ;)
:P
MUAHA!
Don't worry. They won't have to fight. Alfy will give in and just tell Fardan and the rest of the horde that she promoted him. ;)
Vaskor's question can be interpreted two ways: Does she [think she knows better], or Does she [know better]. Rappy's response adequately answers the first one, but comes off as a bit of a blunder in response to the second. A wittier answer might be better.
Dooby do.
Can I slide in a charecter?? I wasn't in the other one???
Nope, sorry; these roleplays are closed to the three of us.
You can watch, of course.
You mean four, right? ;)
For some reason I wasn't thinking of myself when I made the number.
Yes, four.

What's the plan with the current situation guys?
The vermin were supposed to win this battle and temporarily take over, until the good beasts revolted.
@Groddil Hey man we need you to post, like everywhere. With Jergle, Shadowmay, and that suicidal hedgehog bloke.
@Sagetip Could you post with Gillpaw real quick, Aver confronted her some time ago. I suppose a quick explanation about Bracklew being with Asher would be fine at the moment. Just so I can move Aver on to the battle. ;)

Redwall has to lose.
But I can't just kill him... ;)
Wait, they actually capture Redwall?

Do you mean about Aver?
He'll be defeated and captured once Vaskor takes his shot. Much to Fastooth's displeasure. Actually if he could gain the upper paw over Rapshade momentarily that'd be perfect.
Also Brack is currently unconscious in a tree. He'll wake up after the battle is over and I have time to post with him, and he'll run into a certain someone...
Ooh, okay, cool.
And sure, he can gain the upper paw.
I'd recommend exploiting Rap's bad leg. It'd be good to leave the audience guessing what would've happened without that handicap.
He's made several attacks on the bad leg, and Rapshade is currently on his back more or less because of it.
I'm actually curious who would win if Rapshade was at his peak...
This battle he wasn't trying to kill Skip, so who knows.
If he had been than maybe he'd have won, even in his current state.

Interestingly enough, I can't think of any time in the books off the top of my head where a Skipper of Otters has gone head-to-head against the main villain. They do fight some ranking/notable villains, though, and generally come out ahead (with the original Skipper killing Cludd, and another one taking down a Monitor)
That said, as a newer otter leader, I don't feel Aver has the same prestige or experience as one that's been in the office long enough to have the title as his only name. ;) I would expect him to be less dangerous than an old wardog like Warthorn, certainly, or most of the other Skippers. So, there's no reason losing to peak Rapshade should be out of the question (although it does raise questions about where Mortembell ranks in the hierarchy of fighters).
I don't recall Rapshade ever actually losing to Mortembell..
There was the poison incident, but his back down was about the poison and not her.
And then the beating...
But that wasn't a fight.

Poison and anger don't make for even fights though. She only needed to hit him once.

Wincing Petu retreated, rubbing his bleeding nose with his free paw. Fardan had managed to leave a small scratch when he spun, and threatened to do more damaged as he advanced. Petu was no great fencer, nor was he particularly strong and he waved his sword wildly out in front of himself trying to fend Fardan off.
"Help me Duncan!" He screamed as he slipped on the snow, falling clumsily on his tail.

Its not all that big. Remember in Bracklew's original plan he fully expected and wanted to die killing Alfhild, and he expected Rapshade to die or run. Either way the ferret was going to be free, at least in Bracklew's eyes.
The squirrel wanted to be released from his demons, while the ferret wanted out of his chains. All I was doing when I used the italics was emphasis that freedom was the ultimate goal. :-\

Quote from: FuryLet him scurry off south to some place called Redwall Abbey, to go kill a fox. I don't care what he does, but I think a big badger like that is more useful to spread the word of my conquest while he's alive and ruined, don't you?

Yeah uh, they just demonstrated they're willing to kill the hostages. Does the Vigil just not care? They're essentially leaving the horde no choice but to kill the hostages at this point. It doesn't matter that the Vigil can win if all the hostages are killed, the point is that the hostages would be dead.

Well hey, that's why he's the villain.

Threw a curveball to see the reaction. And in my original plan, Seacloak would have most likely died in this part anyway. MAYBE part 3, but I was trying to dispose of him, as his villainhood is more of a personal grudge with one protagonist than the urge to take over Redwall/something similar, so he wasn't as useful in the long run.

I tried to make it seem a bit vague at first, although it does need some way of letting you know what's going on at first.
I have to hear from Fardan first, then he can come.
I'll set it up for you.
No, for Rusk.
Yeah, I need Fardan to reply first so I can have Alfhild get Rusk.
Hey Ashes there was just something I wanted to ask, and also remind you off.
Could Brack and Ros begin a sort of friendship, that we build up as the story continues? I think it would be kinda cool if Brack breaks from his stupor because of the weasel. We could make it gradual, and strained, but overall a they grow into good friends. However that's entirely up to you.
Also, keep in mind Grah the Krah is still furious at Rapshade, and has it out for Fangfang, so when they go outside, that could become a problem for everyone's favorite rat and ferret duo.
Anyway that's it.
Hey Grodds, you kinda killed your main character, so I'm just wondering if you're going to make Shadomay your new main character? If so, and I don't remember her last location, but if she was captured with the rest of the Redwallers I could post with Aver in the cellars, so you can use her, if you want.

She's with the Vigil, and she'll fight with them when the time comes. Technically, Charm is the most important of the remaining characters, followed by Morty (Although someone needs to stay behind to tend to the wounded, so that'll be Morty, seeing as she's older and frailer than the actual medic).

ASHLEG
DISCORD
Quote from: Sagetip on December 30, 2016, 05:12:12 PM
ASHLEG
DISCORD
Let's get down to business, to defeat...the HONS.
Petu's just casually trying to collect weapons while Bracklew decides yelling at top volume while running into a supposedly empty cavern is a good idea.
They balance out each other's crazy. ;D
The Vigil can do their thing any time now, it's up to you, Groddil.
So I'm making a map for the RP...
If someone could make a list of locations (besides redwall and such) that'd be useful - back entrance to Moledeep, Vigil camp, etc. And where they're in relation to each other that'd be nice. Right now I'm making banners for the factions (I already have the vigil one, but if you guys want to input on the Redwall and horde ones that'd be cool)
There's the abandoned cabin, which I imagine is in the forest but kind of close to Redwall, there's the place where the horde camped out (and it could technically be anywhere I guess long as it's in a clearing), and then there's the wide stream which Rap landed his ship in during the first story.
I think that would have to connect to the water somehow, so placement's up to you...
And then Salamandastron.
Unless Fardan has an established flag I don't know:
Got some basics of the map down, and attempted the Vigil insignia.
I'll upload an image of it later.
Awesome.
Whoever has a short-lived fight with Roscoe gets Brownie Points!!!
Who wins?
If you legitimately ask if Roscoe can win a fight I'm gonna laugh at you.
Whomever isn't Roscoe... ;)
What if it was a fight against Stumby?
Now seriously, Aver should escape soon and he can fight Roscoe for a bit.
He beat Maxy so he could beat Stumbly but I don't think he'd want to.
Aw yeah, mate.
Vigil's theme:

@Groddil Are you serious? Only twenty of them? Well shoot.
Just like Rapshade attacked the Guosim with only fifteen...
Quality over quantity, I guess.
@Sagetip CELIO SHREDS IT UP!
Yeah, I agree.
The lift isn't THAT big.
I figured they'd be cramped down in the tunnel.
@Sagetip:
Seeing as how One-Ear's dead, who do you want Fardan to go up against? Charm, Shadomay, or Celio?
Who do you want dead?
Hmm, Shadowmay.
In case there's any more confusion like with what happened with Sage (don't worry, mate, Sage is my pal) this IS the final battle.
Just to clear things up.
Hey, I'm assuming you don't want Roscoe dead right?
So we could have Aver best him, and then just before he kills him Bracklew intervenes.
What'cha think?
Yeah sure, there's no way Roscoe's dying. XD

"Because I'm going to kill you!" Bracklew yowled, stumbling back to regaining his footing. The young squirrel was about to lunge again when the saber slashed out at him. He dodged away, but he wasn't fast enough to avoid the blade entirely and got cut on the shoulder.
Wincing Bracklew felt his sword arm grow weaker. His good arm, a lucky blow for Rapshade. "That single act meant very little after you betrayed me, leaving me to Fardan and Alfhild's mercy. Then you joined them and attacked my home, again!" Leaping forward Bracklew delivered a kick, following up by slashing towards Rapshade's wound.

then helped him get away and they didn't see eachother again after that until now. Didn't want to have him reply to that because then it would be awkward.
From Bracklew's perspective its partially Rapshade's fault for the loss of his paw, due to his capture in the first place. But he still feels guilty about the whole thing though, because he knows, but refuses to admit that Rapshade did save his life then.
Oh I know that, I thought the events were out of order.
I guess they're not. Ahah.

I think it would be better if
@Groddil and Sagetip got further in their battle before I post again with Rapshade.
The heroes (and Fang) can explore a little for Alfhild, but we may need to suspend the battle...
Okay.
You want me to have Benyo help fight Grah?
Is Rapshade going to get Martin's sword again at the end of this?
No. He doesn't need it.
Aw.
He won!

Basically Alfhild.
*Alfhild.
Yes.
Ay, like Sand said, I'm gonna wait for Groddil.
The never ending saga.
Indeed, or so I hope!
@Groddil I just need Snad to PM me and then I'll write the epilogue.
After that, I'll post the thread.
Why'd you tag Delthion?
I didn't.
