Let me dazzle you with non-canon Star Wars references.

A fleet of Star Destroyers, Tartan Patrol cruisers, and Interdictor cruisers exit's hyperspace, headed by none other then Darth Vader, in his personal flagship the Super Star Detroyer Executor. Each Star Detoryer has 6 turbolasers and 2 ion cannons trained of the guest ships, while the Interdictors activate missile jamming fields and gravity well generators (which stop hyperspace jumps), which ensures no escape for the guests! Meanwhile, several thousand TIE class fighters (including interceptor, bomber, defender, and advanced) are launched from the bellies of the several hundred capital ships present. THese fighters are more than capable of taking down your puny guest-class fighters.

But, alas, that is not all. From hyperspace comes the Death Star (II, which, let me tell you, has a more advanced superlaser targeting system), escorted by 40 Imperator-class Star Destroyers, and one hundred Victory-class frigates. Supplementing the whole force is tens of Carrack-class light anti-fighter cruisers, along with several Interceptor-class frigates.

As you see, Soren, it is good to have the Empire on your side.
