What does uncorrected proof mean?
"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." John 17:3

It means that is an unfinished version of the book. So there might be things such as typos, and grammatical errors.
The second picture shows that someone "corrected" Tamello De Fformelo Tussock's name thinking that it was supposed to have one F.

Ah, yes. And that someone thought that Brian's frequently used words that are combined that would normally be used separate was a mistake.

Yeah, whoever was correcting it obviously hadn't read a Redwall book before.

Uncorrected proofs are printed by the publisher in small quantities to give to proof-readers under legal Non-disclosure Agreements to check for mistakes that are fixed for the real print run. They aren't sold to the public and they are meant to be given back and destroyed.

I have a few uncorrected proofs and pre-release / draft dust jackets and example pages for various books (mostly not Redwall ones).

Post count, most likely.

Life is too short to rush through it.

Kitsune

I don't have that many posts... ;D
I'll be able to get on more because of Summer.

NARDOLE; You are completely out of your mind!
DOCTOR: How is that news to anyone?

"I am Yomin Carr, the harbinger of doom. I am the beginning of the end of your people!" -Yomin Carr

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.
