Ah, yes. And that someone thought that Brian's frequently used words that are combined that would normally be used separate was a mistake.

Yeah, whoever was correcting it obviously hadn't read a Redwall book before.

Uncorrected proofs are printed by the publisher in small quantities to give to proof-readers under legal Non-disclosure Agreements to check for mistakes that are fixed for the real print run. They aren't sold to the public and they are meant to be given back and destroyed.

I have a few uncorrected proofs and pre-release / draft dust jackets and example pages for various books (mostly not Redwall ones).
