Seriously, this never happened. There were more creatures than just badgers with the Bloodwrath, so what would happen if two such creatures fought?
That would be....bad....
I know, right? While it never happened in the books, it would have been sure to have happened. I think they would both end up dying.
That would be a great fan fic for someone to do. Maybe, per say, two badgers meet head to head?
It would get rather gory! A bit too much so for my liking! Brian was sparing us the 'horror'. :D
That would be, like, the most bloodiest, gory-est, hardest, most intense Redwall universe duel ever! Though, I think it would have been intresting to see something like this happen in some Redwall book.
I agree with Ungatt.
Two words. Mutual suicide.
Someone start writing ;D
I wonder, can any type of vermin get the bloodwrath? Just think, for example, a Wildcat with the bloodwrath fighting a badger with the bloodwrath. Very possible....
Death all around! Give these creatures a generous round of death! Care to have some death? Do you like death on your toast, or in your tea? I would like to propose a toast to death!

Possible. BTW, did Razzid Wearet have Bloodwrath? Anyone remember?
No, I'm afraid I don't remember. Haven't read the Rouge Crew in a while.

Of what I remember, Razzid didn't get the bloodwrath.

Alright. I didn't think so but I didn't know.
Nah, he didn't. But it would make sense to have a wearat or Wolverine get the bloodwrath. (Considering only brawny and buff animals get it)
Badger vs badger duel, anyone? ;D
Wow just thinking about something like that happening makes my head just wanna explode. That would a all out war til the death.
Come to think of it, did any bad guys get the bloodwrath? I don't believe so, which seems a shame.
I know; t'would be epic.

I don't seem to recall any villain getting it.
They both bleed to death is all I can honestly think of when you look at how the bloodrath is described. Both will fight to the end, and essentially their bodies will expire before the will to defeat the other does. ;)
Is it possible that one could triumph over the other?
Not likely. Since both of them would continue fighting on and on, one would eventually kill the other but the one who live would probably die of wounds.
Ah can imagine zomebeazt'z arm gettin' ripped off in ze ztruggle...

That is one of the most hilarious skits done by Monty Python :D (Not recommended for those younger than 10 or older) Personally, my favorite is the parrot skit.
It is possible (in fact, probable) that they would both die, but whether before the battle is really over or at around the same time, would have to be seen :P
Slaughter. Complete, utter, absolute slaughter. They would literally batter each other to pieces.
Aye!
I would feel bad for the bystanders. The collision of those two beasts would blow most off their feet.
In the words of the Ultimate Showdown, it would be "The bloodiest battle that the world ever saw with billions looking on in total awe" :P
What's the ultimate showdown?
A song, I used to listen to it a lot as a kid and, as such, the lyrics are burnt into my brain

. . . Chuck Norris. . .
Got killed by a bunch of people including both iterations of Gandalf and the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail
This would probably happen if two badgers both thought they were supposed to be the badger lord of Salamandastron
Or if there were a wildcat or wolverine with the bloodwrath.

I wander for along time why only woodlanders have the Bloodwrath (at first it was just badgers)
Axtel Sturnclaw (a mole) had Bloodwrath

What I'm saying is at first it was just badgers that had it then other creatures had the bloodwrath throughout the series

It would be interesting for vermin to have it. Indeed, like in the case of the wolverines and their viking-likeness, it would seem like a berzerker rage would be fitting.
The only thing against this is that it is not in vermin's character to fight so recklessly. Their selfishness would not allow them to go into bloodwrath for any reason other than to prove themselves the best.
Plus, plot.
Bloodwrath is meant to be unstoppable and vermin aren't allowed to be unstoppable or else the Woodlanders would lose.

Honestly, I love the idea of a civil war for Salamandastron in a Role-play.
I'll make it if you don't! ;D

Have the good guys beat large number of enemies is cool an all but after awhile it gets kind of old.
If vermin did have the bloodwrath the woodlanders would have to think of ways to beat them which to me would be more interesting
Never said I didn't want to see it--Brian didn't want to do it.
Bloodwrath is simply just killing all in ones path. The vermin do that already...
Quote from: Krantor the Brutal on October 18, 2017, 04:11:56 PM
Bloodwrath is mindlessly and uncontrollably killing all in one's path.
Alright.
Well, it's true. Vermin that are good fighters are still in tune to the world around them, whereas a creature suffering from the Bloodwrath will kill anybeast that gets in his oath, be they friend or foe, and will recklessly endanger his own life until he completes his task.
Sort of like a bloody, violent sleepwalker.
Has a badger ever kil an ally? Don't remember.
It was never said exactly, but it was written like he didn't care who he killed.
Exactly.
