Well, the pic is someone who did that instead of a wedding ring, if that's what you mean 

I know that. My question was regarding your reasoning behind imitating it.

I was just looking for one that looked nice.  I will not be equipping myself with one, however.  I will opt for a normal wedding ring, such as this.

Why I said expensive.  The one in that picture is sold for $1,700 USD and has an uncut diamond set in it.  It's made for the purpose of being expensive, not heavy duty
