Greetings all! This is that murder mystery RP that I've been talking about of late. ;D
Unfortunately, (or fortunately depending on your opinion) this will be a rather labor intensive role-play, requiring lots of discussion in this topic.
The Redwallers have lately heard from a reclusive, but rather friendly dove that a huge storm is going to be at Redwall by that evening. As a result of this, the Redwallers have decided to go out and pick some berries and the like, to stockpile before the storm.

The Redwallers will be starting out in the meadow where they are gathering the berries, then I'll contact someone regarding their untimely demise. ;D
My character, the Abbot, will be something like a GM, staying more in Cavern Hole than anything else, putting a few things together here and there. One of the persons in this group will be the murderer. Contact me if you would be interested in being the murderer. The murderer and I will discuss the motive and all that. The Redwallers will make various sorties into the various rooms in the main Abbey. Before making these sorties we should discuss what clues will be found in this topic. Anyway, hopefully this goes a little bit better than my other RPs that I've started! ;D

Go on any forum that is primarily centered around RolePlaying and you shall find that many, many people will post only the word "track" on a thread to show that they are following it. I wanna know: would it be permissible for me to use a species that is typically evil? I was interested in having a ferret character, but not necessarily playing them as evil. There were a few gray or good characters belonging to "evil" species in the books, so I was curious about that. If it's a no-go, I'll choose another species, no problem.
Yes I am looking for new characters. As for using such a species I'd prefer that you don't, simply because since there is a murder here, the ferret will be the automatic suspect, and it would be less shocking to the Redwallers. :)

Ashleg will be discovered missing as the Redwallers come back to Redwall, then the main characters will go on a search party and discover his body. You all can decide what places to search and things like that, but as GM I will tell you what clues you find. :)

Just someone to react in a different way to the murder. The others would react more with sadness and the like in addition to some anger. A warrior (i.e. Skipper) would react with much more anger.
