Ok, so I started thinking I would color in some of the black and white pictures in the Redial series. Here's work so far. (The first is my profile pic, but I accidentally deleted it before I could upload it to Flikr or Imgur)

Well, they are from the book, but flap the book ones are black and white. So they're colored in now.

Yeah, I was saying that they were colored so professionally I wouldn't have noticed the difference, and would have easily believed they were actually straight out of the book.

I do have some specific colours in mind for the different articles of clothing and such, so...
Colour stuffs
Her skin is dark brown, her eyes are grey/blue (more grey, though), her tunic is a deep faded purple, and her daggers have gold hilts and red-tinged blades (meaning they've just got a little bit of pinkish-red on them, 'cause I can. ;D). Her leggings, boots, gloves, and belt are black, her hair is black, and her cape is dark grey.

Nah, I'd probably like it just as much. The colours themselves are really cool, it's just that, for some reason, pairing the art from the Redwall books with less bold and vibrant colours makes it more appealing to me. Not sure why; maybe it's the fact that I'm used to seeing them in black and white, so when there's just a touch of colour it looks a billion times more awesome? Dunno. I'm weird. Let's just leave it at that. :P
