Today, almost every time I've gone to move around the forum, a white screen pops up and it says 'Request timed out. Please try request again.' or something like that. Is it the forum, or my computer, or what? I'm getting a little worried, to be honest - We really don't need a dead computer right now.
Oh, yeah, I've had that a few times today when I tried to post or send a PM. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact that the forum was down (for me at least) for an hour or more last night.

I've had it too, just refresh the page and it allows the post to go though.
It happens to me a lot to, mostly with posts more than three lines deep.
The forum has kept going down over the last little while. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else having this?
Only last evening; otherwise it's been fine.
It's been working for me, just posting has been a bit problematic sometimes.
Yes, I noticed this last night but it seems okay now. I suppose these sort of problems are inevitable from time to time.

Yes. I tried posting last night and this morning, and it took me out of the forum :-\ it was the weirdest thing. I hit the preview button and now it works :D
Looks like it's still a problem. Hopefully somebody will take a look.
It happened to me a lot yesterday. It was annoying.
It sounds like the server is having a bit of a downtime. Don't you guys worry, I'm a member of another forum that has to deal with that constantly and I left another that had the same error popping up everyday at midnight due to a popular trivia game.
I haven't been able to get on at all since Tuesday evening. I actually still can't get in with my WiFi connection; I'm typing this on my phone because it has 4G access.
That's why I'm behind more than a day on things. I'm trying to figure out what the problem is, but until I do, it will be harder for me to keep up with the forum.
How will we get this fixed? Do we just wait it out, or is there somebody who can take a look into it?
I haven't had problems with the forum for years, Hope it works again soon James.
I am having the same problem particularly when Posting a PM Sometimes it takes me three or even four tries before I will let my message threw. :P
Edit: And there it goes again.
I had said problem yesterday while trying to enter the forum at night... it lasted like five minutes and then everything went back to normal.
Had the problem yesterday and today. It is also being slow to click on certain boards, or just not doing so at all at the mo.
(And naturally this post is not sending first time!)
It's messing up with me too. What's helping me is copying the post, then attempting to post. If it does the time out page, hit the back button, and refresh the page. Quickly paste the message into the post field again, and post. Should work.
EDIT: Just worked again. :)
You might not have to refresh it. Once when this happened, all I did was hit the back button, hit 'preview', and then post it.
And the forum is still really unreliable. One minute it'll be up, the next minute, I can't access it. Then it'll be fine a few minutes later. Anyone else having this?
Yes, the forums have been very iffy lately. I really hope this doesn't go on the road to a major problem. The admins and mods are probably looking into it.

That problem might actually be your Internet - That even happens for my dad, and he's never been on the forum.

I don't know if it's just me, but when I have said problem, it never lasts more than five minutes... and it doesn't happen all that often either.
Yeah, sometimes it says the server has a feedback loop and it won't let me in, but after a few tries it works fine. Sometimes when I try to post it just freezes, but I just press the back button and post it again. Works fine.
Edit: Don't mean to be cliche, but... Like now. :P
How do you join a fanfic contest?

Lately I've been having this problem when there are very few users online. I don't know what that means but it was usually the other way around.
