It is a time in Mossflower, where the land is experiencing an age of peril and distrust. Vermin are a commonplace, attacks aren't unheard of, and every beast is on their guard. Salamandastron is hard-pressed to do what they can to help with the Long Patrol, and Redwall has become a place of refuge, though it is unclear whether or not they will be able to last the coming winter.
Despite these troubles, the creatures of Redwall still do what they can to keep their home running normally: Harvests were fruitful, timber and other supplies were brought in by travelers looking for a safe place, leaving no shortage of volunteers to help. No vermin group has made any attempt to try to take Redwall, much to Abbess Henff's relief, and the hedgehog urges everybeast beast to just do their best to keep everything calm and peaceful.
But now the eye of the onlooker must turn away from the troubles and trials of the land of Mossflower, and off to the horizon of the Western Sea, for the winter waves bring more danger to the land, but perhaps even some aid. . .
Why is it that every role-play I've started has sunk into worthlessness? Must be me.
Anyhow. . . Hello! I'd like to try my paw at an RP again, this time having in it some elements of the last one: Welcome to the Barkhills. I don't see that one emerging again, so the decision has been made for a new one to arise. I'll be updating this topic a little later with more information.
Some of the species in this RP are from a foreign land, and are allowed if they are from the Barkhills; the following is a list of them, as well as their sizes in comparison to other creatures. Spaces left blank indicate a gap in the heights.
-Cougar, wolf
-
-Coyote, bobcat, lynx
-Sea otter
-Porcupine
-Wolverine, badger
-Raccoon, beaver
-Otter, fox
-Opossum, skunk
-Ferret, weasel, mink, marten
-
-Squirrel, rat, muskrat
-Chipmunk, mouse
-Shrew, mole

My Characters
Name and/or title: Karn Warcat
Species: Cougar
Age (Human equivalent): 34
Native land: Barkhills
Appearance: Well-built, muscular; gray-brown fur; ice-blue eyes; left ear has a large nick out of it. Wears steel armor over a gray tunic. One large fang sticks out over his lower lip. Has a scar running from his forehead along the side of his snout to end at the bottom of his cheek.
Personality: Usually friendly; has a serious streak in him. He will lay down his life for his friends, family, and lord. Is very strategic and tries not to rush into things, though sometimes his decisions must be made very quickly.
Weapons: Double-bitted war axe, dagger.
History: A tough Barkhillian, Karn had always been a promising creature to be a soldier. After much experience and proving his worth, he was given the honor of being a Commander, the top rank one could get. Now he was sent after the following character to chase him down and bring him to justice for his crimes.
Side: The Barkhills, but since he is away from his country, for the good creatures.
Other: Is in command of a section of the Hammer Warriors, an elite fighting force in the Barkhills.
Name and/or title: Vrungin
Species: Wolf
Age: 35
Native land: Barkhills
Appearance: Tall and sinewy, with gray fur. His eyes are a dark orange, and the lip on the right side of his face is ripped permanently open from a wound long ago. Wears the tough hide of a bear as his clothes and armor.
Personality: Clever and sharp, Vrungin is an eloquent speaker and master planner. Not much goes unnoticed by him. He will not settle for defeat, and holds a grudge indefinitely.
Weapons: Straight saber, two curved daggers and a bow which he only uses on some occasions. Enjoys walking around with an iron cane.
Occupation: War criminal, the defeated enemy of the Barkhills and now a fleeing convict.
History: Vrungin grew up in a strict family, and it made him who he was. He had been slowly growing in power for years, holding a large force of creatures and land, but after his sound defeat after an attempt to control the Barkhills, he took what was left of his army and fled, intent upon either finding a new land to take as his own, or amassing another army to exact his revenge upon the Barkhills.
Side: His own- the destruction of opposition and the setting up of his own power.
Other: His army consists of all sorts of creatures, from cats to mice; he believes the diversity gives him an edge.
Good vermin are accepted, though they would
mostly come from Karn's force. Bad "good beasts" are also acceptable, from
mostly Vrungin's army.
Name: Woodwing
Species: Owl
Age: 10 (in owl years)
Native Land: Mossflower
Appearance: A large, spotted owl with golden eyes
Personality: Fierce and merciless to most, but loyal to his friends
Weapons: His powerful talons
History: Having lived in Mossflower Wood for many seasons, Woodwing is old enough to remember the time of plenty. Once neutral to the Redwallers, Woodwing has been forced to prey upon them due to a shortage of other food.
Side: Neutral, though he frequently antagonizes the Redwallers
Other: N/A
Interesting; he's accepted.
WHOO! It's up! :D No bears? :'(
Phlame the Ashen
Name and/or title: No beast knows his actual name, he goes by Phlame the Ashen
Species: Grey Squirrel... But he's no native.
Age: 25
Native land: Barkhills
Appearance: Being a grey squirrel, he's naturally larger than most other squirrels.
Fur: Jet black, orange underbelly
Eyes: Orange rimmed with a larger central black disk. The right eye has an intruding
scar on the top down to the center that has caused a blood red flare.
Clothes: He wears a large, thick tunic with a hood that usually conceals his eyes when used, as well as thinner, long-sleeved under-shirt. He also wears trousers, a pair of bark gauntlets, and thin, guarded boots. The original color of his clothing is guessed to be black with the fur fringing (did I forget to tell you that the tunic was made out of fur? silly me) a dusty gray. It is guessed because it has been so smeared with soot and ash that nobeast can really say for sure.
Distinguishing marks: He has several flame orange/yellow/red marks. Some are natural, others are artificial. There is one on the right side of his head that seems to drive right into where the scar is located. He has gotten his nickname from these marks.
Personality: What is known of it would suggest that he's somewhat sadistic and crazy, he has an obsession with fire, and is very frighteningly in-tune with it. Encounters with Phlame yet to fail to leave questions in the minds of those he's come in contact with.
Weapons: Besides his body, he's can be quite creative with his surroundings. His attunement with fire has often gotten him labeled as a pyromancer, and he uses it with deadly effect.
A twisting staff that has soaked in resins and concoctions that have hardened it and made it immune to corrosion, flames, and other such troublesome problems.
He carries a short sword (
Hades Invitation) which he keeps on his back strapped right shoulder to left waist.
Appearance
(http://www.karatemart.com/images/products/large/ninja-assassin-short-sword.jpg)
He also harbors a set of small throwing knives, several of which are hidden within the folds of his tunic.
History (optional): If anybeast knows, they're long dead.
Side: Phlame serves none, his allegiance is unsteady, and his priorities are prone to wonder... If I had to say, I'd say his alignment is with fire, as it is his one and only true friend.
Other: Phlame is fast, and though he's unsound in the mind, he's got a disturbing knack for stealth. He speaks with a noticeable, but not thick Irish accent... Finding it really hard to type, so if slip into normal English, my apologies. >.<
I believe that's everything.
Name and/or title: Henri the Chivalrous.
Species: Cougar.
Age: 25
Native land: The Barkhills/Mossflower.
Appearance: He is tall, and has eyes that are blue and green. He wears a brigandine with his family crest on it, which is an eagle locked in battle with a winged serpent. He wears a bascinet with a metal stag on the top, a last memory of his old life.
Personality: He has a good sense of humour, and jests often. He is chivalrous, and will put his life on the line for his friends.
Weapons: A flanged mace, a heater shield, and a crossbow with bolts. He also has a conch shell horn.
History: His grandsire sailed from the Barkhills to the coast, establishing a little village near the coast. During his father's reign, his village was razed by seavermin, who slew his sire, and killed many. He was one of the few survivors of the slaughter, and escaped with his weapons. He found his brigandine in the ruins of his village which he visited once. He then travelled to Mossflower and lives as a wanderer, hoping to visit Redwall Abbey someday.
Side : Good.
Other: He believes that women cannot fight.
Name and/or title: Regan
Species: Badger
Age: 21
Native land: Mossflower
Appearance: She is very androgynous looking and smaller (not shorter) and more lanky than most badgers. Her eyes are yellow and she has large ears.
Personality: She is spunky and has a dark sense of humor, but she means well. Sometimes she needs others to help her do the right thing. Regan, despite not having a mean streak, is quick to anger.
Weapons: A battleaxe, and (sometimes) a rolling pin that she stole from a kitchen when she was little.
History (optional): Will develop in the roleplay. ;)
Side (Neutral is acceptable, but they must pick a side eventually): Vrungin's side
Other: She doesn't yet realize that her side is the evil one. She thinks they're doing what's best for everyone.
@Dan: Nope, the bears shall stay where they are. And Phlame is accepted.
@Ash: Erm, deer are eaten for food. :P
@Scar: Badgers aren't native to the Barkhills, but the rest of her is fine.
We need some Mossflowerians, people!
Okay, she's native to Mossflower but moved to the Barkhills.
Ehm, ach. I'll change it to a Cougar then, if possible.
Alright.

More than one character is alright.
I'm aware. ;)
Name/title: Named (pronounced "Na-med")
Species: Lynx
Age: 34
Native Land: Er.... Mossflower, but he's a traveling mercenary who arrived in the area a season ago.
Appearence: (whoa, just Googled "Lynx" for Google Images. They look awesome!) Dark brown fur, perfect for camoflauge.
Personality: Little humor, reclusive, but once you have him as a friend he's friend for life.
Weapons: Longsword
History: N/A
Side: He's a mercenary. Whoever gets to him first earns his loyalty!
Accepted.
I'm so ready to get back into RP!
Name and/or title: Igna
Species: otter
Age: 19 seasons
Native land: Rivers in Mossflower
Appearance: Light brown fur with a darker tail. She's also got brown eyes.
Personality: She's very protective over the inhabitants of Mossflower and is willing to stand up for them no matter what the cause. However she is nervous when stepping up for full responsibility.
Weapons:Dagger and sling
History (optional): Parents died at a battle in Mossflower and she ended up in Redwall where she helps the best she can.
Side (Neutral is acceptable, but they must pick a side eventually): Mossflower/Redwall
Other: I may be bad so let me get in to the swing of things
Looks good.
Talk about a foreign intrusion! :P :P :P Little miss doesn't-tell-me-she's-back-but-joins-an-RP-without-so-much-as-a-how-de-do. :(
Ah! danflor! I'll pm you right away! :D
Name and/or title: Phane Wildflower (She gets her nickname from her wild innocent demeanor)
Species: Otter
Age: ~19
Native land: Mossflower
Appearance: She is tall thin and agile with light brown fur and beautiful silver blue eyes. She is considered quite pretty though she is not vane and she hardly notices or cares herself. She wears a long sunset purple tunic with a silver fish skin belt and dark eel skin boots which act a lot like galoshes (Her brother made them for her). In cold weather she will wear a red yellow and orange coat lined with feathers to keep her warm along with a red scarf and mittens and she wraps her foot paws in rags inside her boots for warmth.
Personality: She is fun loving flamboyant and outgoing, with an almost innocent out look on life, though she prefers to call it optimism. She also has a darker wild side which comes out when she or others are threatened or in danger. When the people she cares about are in danger she can fight with an almost mother like protect drive that is stronger than any man (she believes she could even take on a berserk badger lord, though that is probably just her optimism showing).
Weapons: She carries a sling and stones which she can use in melee as well as range fighting. She also has a dagger which she keeps in a nice sheath hanging from her belt that her brother made for her.
History (optional): Phane grew up with her brother and her aunt and uncle in a small Holt on the banks of the river moss. Her parents had been slain in a vermin raid when she was just a babe. When she was 10 another vermin raid almost wiped out the entire Holt. She her brother and only a small handful of other survived. Phane and Pharanuse where captured and enslaved briefly by the vermin who had attacked them. They managed to escape with the help of a kind hedgehog wife. The two stayed with her for several years. Finally they left her to return to Mossflower and to see if any of their Holt had survived. Finding the place deserted they went to Redwall where they found there old friends living there in relative safety. Pharanuse however was not happy living at Redwall and he and his sister left soon after that to travail around in search of a new home.
Side (Neutral is acceptable, but they must pick a side eventually): She is on the side of Moral right, the side of Redwall and most good beasts. Threw her experience most vermin are bad ones though she is willing to give them a chance if they show they are worthy of it.
Other: She is the younger sister of Pharanuse Evenstride
Name and/or title: Pharanuse Evenstride (Getting his nickname from the way he walks with long brisk even strides)
Species: otter
Age: ~23
Native land: Mossflower
Appearance: He is tall, even taller than his sister standing a good head and a half taller than her, and his fur is a medium dark brown and his eyes are dark brown almost black. He wears a navy blue tunic with an eel skin belt and a pare of thatch sandals made for him by his sister. In the winter he wears a brown coat lined with feathers for warmth and hemmed with gold colored braid that his sister put on it for him (she thought it needed some color).
Personality: He is a solid creature strait forward and logical though he loves some good fun. He is more stolid than his sister and he is more judgmental towards vermin with the opinion that it is in their nature to be bad. Though he doesn't feel it is his job to deal judgement on them.
Weapons: He caries a long sword in a sheath at his side and a dagger that matches his sisters.
History (optional): (See Phane's history)
Side (Neutral is acceptable, but they must pick a side eventually): He is for moral right, Redwall and the good beasts.
Other: The older brother of Phane Wildflower
Accepted! I was hoping you'd join. :)
I took a look at your Barkhills one and I really liked it and wished I could have joined so now I am taking the chance. ;D
Sweet. :D
So when are you going to start this?
I'm hoping for a few more people.
I hope it's not too late for me to join :)
Name: Stashi Bushtail
Species: Fox
Age: around 20-ish
Native land: Mossflower
Appearance: She's short for a fox, and her fur is more golden than red. Her eyes are a cheerful, bright green, and the tips of her paws/tail are white instead of black. She wears a black tunic with a snakeskin belt and a dark, pine-green cloak, with a small pack slung over her shoulder. She has several small, gold hoop earrings in her right ear.
Personality: She leans towards the side of the goodbeasts rather than the vermin, but sometimes can't help but being a fox. She likes to argue, but sometimes can't tell when enough is enough. Is like most vermin when it comes to bathing, she can't swim.
Weapons: two matching, double edged daggers with blue pommel stones in them. And bow and quiver of arrows over her shoulder, but she isn't too accurate with them.
History: A traveler at heart, she left her parents at a young age to roam the land. She quickly learned to fend for herself, befriending beasts along the way and learning new fighting and survival tricks from them all. She became a skilled thief, spy, and fighter.
Side: Mostly Mossflower since that's the only side she knows, but it could change.
Other: She has a limited knowledge of healing, and has trouble asking for help.
Not too late! Like I mentioned, I wanted a couple more people.
There's hardly ever a "too late," when it comes to sign-ups. ;) I'm getting really pumped for this RP, MORE PEOPLE!
Thank you ;D can't wait to start!
I'm glad people are looking forward to this.
Anyone else want to join? If we get one more person, we can begin, but two more would be nice. ;)
Name and/or title: Altuth (All-Tuth) Harjinsson (Har-Jin-Soon) the Wild (Thuh Wile-Duh ;))
Species: Otter
Age: 34
Native land: Western Mossflower
Appearance: Altuth's fur is a distinct reddish color. He is very thin, and has large ears that add to his height. He wears a plaid kilt and a green tunic, modeled after what his ancestors wore. On his head he wears a straw hat. He also carries a walking stick, which he relies on because of injuries he suffered when he was younger.
Personality: Altuth loves a good argument, and will sometimes go out of his way to pick a fight. The otter also has a fearsome temper, which is part of how he got his title, the Wild. Altuth tends to be very loyal, but hard to win the loyalty of, as he is a very suspicious and cynical creature. Altuth is also very stubborn.
Weapons: Carries a rapier in a belt he wears diagonally across his chest
History: Born in Western Mossflower, Altuth was a descendant of many warrior otters. He grew up training with the rapier, and when he was 14 he set out on his own for the first time. He ended up in a battle near Salamandrastron, fighting alongside a vermin crew. He was severely wounded, and likely would have died had he not been rescued by several of the vermin he fought with. They tended his injuries the best they could, but unfortunately Altuth's leg was permanently damaged. He remained with the crew for a while, before returning home to Mossflower.
Side: Neutral. He grew up in Mossflower, but spent around 15 seasons as a pirate in a vermin crew, so he has ties with both sides.
I've been thinking of joining this for a while. I'll get my character up :)
Alrighty.
Han, raccoons are only from the Barkhills; I must not have been clear when I meant that any animals you didn't recognize as from Mossflower would be from the Barkhills. Other than that, he looks good. Any way you can change him to another species?
Aye aye, Cap'n.
Altuth Harjinsson the Wild is accepted. ;)
Skar, you can go ahead and start the RP. I'm still working on my character. Is there a certain type (Mossflower beast, Barkhills beast) that you need most at the moment?
Not really, but a beast at the Abbey would be nice.
So whens you gonna start this?
Whenever I get an itching to make a big post. :P
Lol I know how you feel. :P ;D
Alright, I hope the first post was good enough to get us started. Post away!
WOOHOO! As things stand, I'd be better off joining later. Can't wait for everyone to get to Redwall. :)
I won't be on for a couple days. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I'll be posting as soon as I'm back. (Bad timing on the start of the RP, yeah?)
Finally! I was working on this new character of mine (who's based off a warrior in a book I'm writing).
Name: Flare Redleaf
Species: Squirrel
Age: High teens ~ Low twenties
Native Land: Mossflower
Appearance: Flare is a petite squirrel with striking, red fur. She sometimes covers her body with mud and anything else that is around for camouflage. She is physically (and emotionally) wounded from battle and experience, with one scar in particular running across her face (from under her left eye across her nose to the bottom of her right cheek).
Personality: Normally, Flare is a very optimistic and enthusiastic beast. Somehow, she has retained some childlikeness. Others find her one of two things: enjoyable to be around or strange and annoying. She is highly emotional in every way. In fact, she is prone to unusual mood swings which she tries to control.
Weapons: Sling and spear
History: Flare was born in mountains in the north, but forced to flee when a pack of vermin invaded and razed the community. She has been traveling ever since until she came across Redwall Abbey and stayed to help protect it.
Side: She fights for whatever side is righteous.
Other: N/A
Accepted. (Sorry about the delay. :P)
You're good! Thanks!
Cool.
There will be a time-skip relatively soon; if you have questions or suggestions, speak now.
Thanks for the info. I think I'm okay, though.
I haven't forgotten I'm a part of this, I'm just waiting for the right moment. Just popping in to make sure nobody thinks I vamoosed. ;)
No problem, Dan. We'll be making the time-skip soon, so perhaps you can join in there.
Yeah, I'll post a IC post as soon as the whole travel-chase thing is wrapped up.
I'll be off for four weeks, so could anyone take control of my character in that period?
I'll make sure he's not completely left out of the picture.
Okee, I said we'd take the RP slower to Ash, but I didn't mean for it to die (like all my other bloody RPs). Let's see a bit of posting on everyone's part, please (including mine).
And since I'm posting here, I'd just like to say that most creatures in Mossflower either don't know about Vrungin or don't know what side he is on. Gives some more conflict, yeh?
Yeah, I'm waiting for someone to post so I don't double post...
I will probably get a post in tomorrow, but tonight I need to shower and go to sleep.
Well, looks like things are at least progressing, albeit slowly. ;) Hi everyone! I'm using a camp computer currently, but usage is rather limited (for obvious reasons). I'll see if I can check in around the weekends, but no promises. Kinda nice to see my entrance isn't overdue yet. ;) Have fun y'all! I'll be back!
Catch ya later, Dan.
Yay! I got to do something! :D Any issues with the introduction? I know the post was on the rough side, but it made sense to me. Playing a maniac with an Irish accent is tough. :P
Your post was fine, Dan.
Okay, Faiy, we can discuss here if we really need to argue about where they are.
No no no! Not argue, debate. ;D
Can I still join here?
If you can catch up to the plot and tell me how your character might be able to join, talk to me again. :)
Scartooth, are you still in this RP?
Hey Skarzs is it alright if I take Scartooth's character, and also made one of my own?
Certainly!
I took some time deciding what character and force I could fit into this story and I decided on the Guosim, :P
Name and/or title: Log-a-log Bruffa
Species: Shrew
Age: 39
Native land: Mossflower
Appearance: A short grey spiky furred creature with stern black eyes. He wears a colored headband and kilt with a broad sword belt that loops around his waist and over his left shoulder. he wears a small black stone around his neck marking him as the Guosim leader.
Personality: Although he is far more reserved then most of his warriors he is gruff and to the point and very stubborn. His tact way of putting a negative vive over almost every creature he talks to makes him a unpopular dinner guest. He is very fast to make a decision and because of his refusal to admit he was wrong he will defend his opinion even when logic tells him otherwise.
Weapons: A short shrew rapier, A sling and stone,
History (optional): Meh shrew history.
Side: Redwallers/ Mossflower
Other: He commands around forty or so shrews thirty of which are trained warriors.
Just give me a shoutout if you want me to change anything.
Sounds good; we didn't have any shrews in this yet, so that seems pretty good.
Am I right in thinking this is still open?
Yep.
Is Vrungin going to attack the Abbey or is he going to continue to negotiate while fending off Karn?
No idea.
Ah well then... Suppose Vrungin forms his army on the western flatlands facing the Abbey and challenges Karn to attack him (Tauntingly) Then when the cougar hero does the wolf springs some sort of trap or another and defeats Karn and forces him into a retreat. Then Colonel Sharpeye somehow gets the retreating Barkhillians inside the Abbey before their slaughtered. Then Vrungin demands the Redwallers turn over the cougar or he will destroy the Abbey to get at him... Just a suggestion...
I doubt Karn would be enough of an idiot to fall into such an obvious trap, especially when Karn seemingly has the advantage at this point.
Neither of them are tactical imbeciles, and while Karn will fight where Vrungin will spend days planning, the cougar knows when fighting and pursuance is foolish, to a point.
Okay well... Commanders can make mistakes and where Karn is concerned maybe there is something that will make him angry enough to charge into battle. Or maybe Vrungin can entice him into a parley out on the flatlands or even single combat. Just something to get the RP rolling.
Name and/or title: Rayne Sandtree
Species: (Unless they are native to Redwall, please have them approved by me) Is gray wolf alright? (If not, I'll switch her to a squirrel)
Age: 31
Native land: Barkhills
Appearance: Grey fur mixed with a little black and some tan. Dark brown eyes. Wears simple gray pants and dark blue tunic.
Personality: Kind, defensive, smart. Not a leadership type, Rayne is quite loyal.
Weapons: A regular sword.
History (optional):
Side (Neutral is acceptable, but they must pick a side eventually): Good
Other:
Well, she'd probably be with Karn's group, and females fighting is a very uncommon thing in the Barkhills, but that could work. It's up to you ultimately, though.
Well, if you don't mind, I'd rather not change her. Accepted, then?
Sure.
Helloooooo? I'd prefer that this not die. -_-
Oh, sorry. . . I've just been. . . . . . Feeling strange lately. I'll post as soon as I can!

So, Skar, how you want m to come in? Because I've thought, and I can't really come up with a good way.
I'm getting the issue I did in Siege on the mountian, I have nothing for my charrie to do.
Then create something for your character to do!
@Corn: Well, perhaps you talk to the creatures on the wall while Karn is occupied with Henri; might spark an interesting conversation with her being a wolf just like Vrungin.
@Sage: Hmm, I can see what you mean. I actually don't know what to do with Vrungin at the moment, so I'll try to work Named into whatever I decide. Cool?
Okay! I'll do that after I finish my character!
Found Phlame.

Phlame isn't necessarily a beast in need, and Henff is a little more than flustered with the whole events; I'm trying to make her more human than naught. :P Wouldn't you get hasty and forget things too?

No worries, just making mention. ;)
Righto.
Guys, I need some help. I'm not sure where to have Vrungin go, or whether Henff should let the Barkhillians in or have them go after Vrungin.
I'm asking because I hope it will make this RP more interesting if it's not only the GM making decisions, and a player-helped role-play may last longer.
Well I'm more then happy to participate more, Its a cool RP but I don't have any characters that are capable of both sides. I'm considering dropping the Logalog character and making a hare one.
If that's okay I'll go ahead and do that.
Also while with RP logic Henff would let the Barkhillians in, but with normal logic she would most likely invite a small party in, maybe one or two unarmed ambassadors and the Long Patrol into Redwall. From there she would discuss whether or not she should let the full army in.
As for Vrungin I have no idea what his motives are right now so I can't say.
Oh, yeah, that reminds me. Skar, is Karn's group grouped together in front of the gates?
I'd have Henff let the Barkhillians in. That also gives you something to do with Vrungin later on, perhaps. Perhaps she wouldn't throw open her arms and beg them to come in, (In fact if she did that she's a very stupid Abbess) but something more like Sand's idea.
*cough*
Still having a hard time deciding what to do. I haven't forgotten about it, and I'm sorry I haven't done anything, but I'm at a bit of a loss. . .
@Faiy: I was going to let Karn in, I just need Sky to say something (anything she wants) to the Abbess about it, and for one of the group, possibly Corn, to converse on the wall. If no response, I'll just give a short time-skip and they'll be in.
As for what Vrungin will do, I have a couple options that I would like some feedback on.
1. Vrungin finds a "rival" vermin band and absolutely demolishes them.
2. He makes his way to the River Moss and causes the Guosim to pick their side.
3. He goes back to Salamandastron and we play the really long game. :P
I like 2 the best; it sounds the most interesting.

I think 2 is a good idea and it adds tension to the story.
Looks like it'll be number two.
I'm cool with numeral two, I'll do my best to post with Log a Log, right now my RPs are slightly on hold do to traveling.
Because the Guosim will just attack their oldest traditional ally at the drop of a hat? I don't care how charismatic you are, as soon as any good log-a-log talks to the Abbess, the jig is gonna be up, and Vrungin's true nature revealed. Mind explaining how you plan on pulling the wool over his eyes?
bribe him with extra-strong shrew beer

Wasn't planning on having Vrungin try to get them onto his side. -_-
What I meant was that they would become a solid enemy.

The Crow's name is very similar to my own character Ash, was that a mistake or was in intentional.
That was a mistake. The name just popped up in my mind and I chose it. Sorry, I'll fix it now.
I'm thinking of rejoining this, allied with... Karn, why not. Is playing a raccoon alright?
(I'm just looking to get species approval before putting up the whole sheet)
Yes, of course. They would be about the size of otters in height, in my mind.
