So, it started crashing and there was weird text at the top of the screen, and now some of the boards are gone! What's happening? ???

The software the forum runs on is outdated.
Extremely outdated.
I have the same problem. The forum is being strange, and I dearly hope it gets resolved soon.

I don't think they'll be able to unless they have SSH access (or at least FTP)
So the software may be outdated. Why would the forum crash now of all times?

If you click the thing called "Redwall Discussion- Spoilers" it will collapse or expand it. That's what you did. :P But yeah, I can't see pics either.
Okay ha, gotta fix that.
But what about all that weird text up on top? Can I make it go away? :P
I have no idea what's wrong, but I'm experiencing the same thing.
If Matthias can't fix it, then I'm sure he'll contact the server admin for help.
In the meantime, while we're experiencing technical difficulties, we still seem to be able to post and PM okay. So, there's no need to panic just yet.
Could we also upgrade to the latest version of SMF? xD
It also set my forum time to six hours ahead of my time zone. :P

Yes, we're all having problems. :P But I think listing off every bump and scratch that we're getting isn't going to help anything get resolved.
It could help them know just what is effected.
Just reload the page, it will bring you to thye site homepage but the post is registered.

There's weird text at the top of my screen. I can see some people's profile pictures but not mine. Everytime I post I get weird text and have to reconnect to the site. I just hope that this will get fixed soon.
I love how everyone's talking about all these problems, and the thing that's driving me nuts most is how the font for page numbers changed. -_-

The font change is also quite annoying.
I have received word that updates are being made to the website, so we should expect things to be fixed soon. Just hang in there, and it'll all be back to normal.

^Yeah, that weirded me out at first. And only Soren, Skarzs, Rain's, and James' profile pics show up for me. I'm getting the strange text up top anywhere from one to six times on each page, and when I post, I'm sent to another page that's nothing but a white background with that text repeated. I have to type in the forum's url to come back, and each time I do, I'm taken to a new topic. From there I can access the rest of the forum. I think I'm having the same problems as Rachel. It's strange and tedious, so I'm posting as little as I can until it's back to normal.

The users whose profile pictures you can see used URLs, not image uploads, for their profile images.

Hey I get the same problem as you but the way I fix it is to back up in my browser and it takes me back to the page I was posting from, don't try to post again because It already worked instead jump to where ever you what to go.
