Increasing post limit

I started writing in the fan fiction section and realized that there is a 20000 character limit. Is there any way to increase it so I could put the whole story in one post, rather than have is scattered among multiple posts?

I set the character limit to unlimited, but if we run into database problems or any other type of issues we might have to put a limit back on.
