Title: Martin of Warriorkin
Post by: Mommui on August 01, 2019, 04:19:12 AM
A poem that Tressa wrote that I may want to include in fanfiction

Spoiler
"I see a mouse of warrior kind....
Armor gleaming like the summer sun
Sword of night, made of stars
Whispering as it speeds along.
Martin, Martin of Warriorkin

I see a mouse of brave so bold,
Sneaking into others dreams,
With his mighty red gem of might,
Listen to him well, your tale begins.
Martin, Martin of Warriorkin

I see a mouse of kindess so,
Weeping tears dry at his hand,
My sleep is but of him,
As he comforts a lonely, saddened maiden.
Martin, Martin of Warriorkin.

I see a mouse of ghostly form,
Welcoming me near forest dark,
Light is a luxury within,
Filtering between silent leaves.
Martin, Martin of Warriorkin.
I can't leave with you yet.

I'll see you when winter ends.
Amongst the late-blooming roses on the pink, warm walls.
Amongst the faces of smiling, kind folk.
Amongst the woven tapestry threads, I'll see you then.
Oh Martin, Martin, Martin of Warriorkin."

Nice work. Not an expert on poetry here but I liked the sound of this one
