Brian Jacques will be honored this weekend with a one hour tribute on BBC Radio Merseyside. This will take place at 5PM BST (British Summer Time), which is 12PM Eastern Coast, and 9AM West Coast (additional times can be found here (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html).
The tribute will be entitled The Life of Brian - Remembering Jakestown, and is said to feature archival audio from Brian Jacques, and thoughts from David and Jimmy Jacques and BBC coworkers.
Fortunately for international listeners, BBC Radio Merseyside can be streamed here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/bbc_radio_merseyside), so hopefully many will be able to tune in for this special.
The program will be airing again at 9PM BST, August 31.
