Same over here. They never showed that much affection towards each other in the two Redwall books that they appeared in.

They only appeared in one, there were references in others.

It's not obvious, but you can tell something's growing between them as the adventure continues. I firmly believe it happened, but everyone to his own on this one.

I'm not quite sure what to say on that note.... It's kind of hard to make a decision either way.... But that's just me again.
