Last Nights of Summer
The dark crimson colored sun spread across the evening sky above the western coast. A car group several friends hung onto a Jeep as it drove towards a large beach house. Each teen was happy to be here. One last hurrah for the summer, a final send off before the new school year. One last last week together. Little did they knew it truly would be some people's last. Not everyone in the group was truthful. Not all had the best intentions. Some were evil. And the trip would end in bloodshed.
Welcome to Last Nights of Summer Mafia!
Here's a rundown of the rules to Mafia:
The Rules
If you do not know the rules of Mafia, then here they are.
Mafia is a game in which one side, the Mafia is trying to kill all the Innocents until there are none left. However, the goal of the Innocents is to identify and execute the Mafia by voting them out. There are two stages of Mafia, Day, and Night. At nighttime, the Mafia choose one player to kill, but in the daytime all of the players find out who died the night before and the eliminated player's role, and vote for who they think is the Mafia, and may try to convince each other who is the Mafia, and who isn't. The person with the most votes is eliminated, and their role is revealed. This happens again and again until all of the Innocents are dead, or all the Mafia is executed.
There other some other roles, too.
The Doctor- an Innocent which each night, after the Mafia chooses who they will kill, they try to predict who was killed by the Mafia, and whoever they pick is granted immunity from the Mafia that night. (The Doctor can choose himself, but cannot choose any player twice in a row).
The Detective- another Innocent that after the Mafia chooses their victim, can investigate a player who they suspect is the mafia, and the moderator will say if they are or not.
The Cupid- again, another Innocent that in the beginning of the game, chooses two "Lovers", who, if one of the "Lovers" die, the other will also die.
Have fun!

I'll join! ;D
Of course in all of the mafia games that I have played in real life I have been the first one killed so I am not exactly healthy... ;D
Can I squeak in? Or is 11 too many?
We can make eleven work. I wasn't expecting such a strong reaction so quickly, so I'll have to get the story written up. I will have a dummy die first, so everyone will get a chance to play. Your PMs will go out once I've assigned the roles and the story is written.
Yay :D

Et tu, Fatch?
Hopefully I'll have the story today or tomorrow.
The group of 12 friends made their way inside the beach house, each happy to finally see their rooms. The group was lead by Eul, a fun loving and adventurous girl. Following her were Sage and Groddil, teasing each other with obscure video game references only they understood. Next was Galli, who was on her phone adding one more reblog on tumblr before finally looking up to examine the house. After her was Fatch, who was very excited to be there, but walking funny after having to ride in the very back of the second jeep. Rosie and Gonff were next, talking amongst themselves in admiration of the huge house. Chipster, Ash and Del came in, still eating from the bags of beef jerky that had stored for the trip. Corn came in, and set her frying pan down by the door with her luggage. Finally, Søren came inside.
Søren stood to the center of the octagonal home, and spoke to the group. "Welcome everyone! I'm so glad everyone could make it. So, we can get right to the fun after we put our things where they need to go. The girls room is on the east side of the house, and the boys room is next door to it. To the west is the kitchen and the den. We're on the south side of the house, with the foyer and coatroom. The north of the house contains the restrooms and showers, along with the dining room. Once everyone is settled in, I'm serving snakes in the den! Who's up for Nacho Libre?!" A couple of shouts came from the group, and they dispersed to arrange their luggage. After good fun and dinner, everyone was tired. The trip really took it out of them, so they decided to go to sleep.
During the night, two figures rose from their beds. The first figure snuck around the house until the person found the wifi router, and smashed it. Then it moved to the door. It moved outside, and cut the landline. Cell service was so bad out here, now no one could get a message out. Meanwhile, the second figure slithered around the house until it stumbled across the electrical panel. It flipped all the breakers to "Off", then smashed the mechanism to prevent them from coming on again. All the noise caused Søren to wake up. He decided to go check it out. He held a large flashlight in his hand as he approached the electrical panel. He could see it was ruined. He started to call out for someone, but then felt a heavy object stike him in the head. He hit the ground, but surprisingly was still awake. His attacker expertly swung the weapon, a lampstand at him, breaking one of his ribs. As the figure tossed aside the lampstand, Søren painfully stumbled to his feet and threw a punch at his attacker, striking them in their side. The attacker tackled him, dragging him back to the ground. He tried to shift leverage in his favor, but the person was able to keep him still, locking him into a choke hold. His eyes rolled back into his head as he expired.
In the morning, the group rose from their teenage-heavy slumber. They discovered Søren's body on the ground near the electrical panel in the foyer. He was bludgeoned and suffocated. All were in alarm, and didn't know what to do. Should they call the police? Their phones weren't working. The landline was dead. The power also seemed to be out. They started to panic, and turn on each other. Finally, Eul spoke up. "We need to do this orderly everyone! Let's calm down. I think we should vote out someone. The person who's voted out dies. We are in danger of whoever did this to Søren." The group reluctantly agreed.
Fatch look at everyone, sudden realization hitting him. "Who do we vote out?"

DAY 1 HAS BEGUN
THERE IS 1 CLUE IN THE STORY
Please submit your votes once you've come to a decision on who to vote out. You will not be allowed to change your vote this round. You've all received PMs. Mafia, Doctor and Dectective, please wait until NIGHT 1 to reply.
Hmm, I've got an idea, but I don't know how accurate it is...
Corn's well known for using frying pans, right? And the story talks about how the electric equipment was smashed. As if with a frying pan? But it does say later on, which is probably more believable, is that Soren's killer, quote:
QuoteHis attacker expertly swung the weapon, a lampstand at him, breaking one of his ribs.
Expertly swung a bludgeoning weapon, probably means that they're familiar with clubs and such. Now, let's analyse this based on the typical weapon members tend to you.
Ashenwyte - Chainaxe. Not a blunt, bludgeoning weapon.
Delthion, Groddil - SPAM-Gun. Not a blunt, bludgeoning weapon.
Eulalia - Machete. Not a blunt, bludgeoning weapon.
Gonff, Rosie, Fatch, Chipster, Galli, Sage - Dunno. If anyone knows what these guys typically use, let us know.
Corn - Frying Pan. A blunt, bludgeoning weapon.
All of them except Sage don't have any weapons, but Gonff does cook quite a bit, so he'd be familiar with utensils.
The crossbow is my weapon of choice, although there hasn't been much chance to use it. And also Groddil, you did have a time where you fought with platipi, and I have a feeling that could be a blunt bludgeoning weapon.
I think we shouldn't be too trustful on the weapon of choice as a clue. Although it can be a valuable hint, it's not always the key. Let's just keep the frying pan in mind while looking at other possible clues, like this:
Quote[...] the second figure slithered around the house [...]
The only possible hole I see is that we don't know who's a snake here:
Groddil: Fox
Rosie: hedgehog
Sage: Hare
Corn: Squirrel
Gonff: Mouse/blue fox
Ashenwyte: Badger
Eulalia: Hawk
Fatch: Lion...?
Delthion: ???
Galli: ???
Chipster: Rabbit...?
Now, it's possible that this section is in conjunction with the slithering:
Quote[...] was Fatch, who was very excited to be there, but walking funny after having to ride in the very back of the second jeep [...]
Food for thought.
We shouldn't be too quick to suspect anyone. Let's wait until everyone gives their view on this unfortunate incident.
Del is a hedgehog and Galli is a mouse although that does not help much.
Del's a
hedgehog?!@Delthion Please confirm!!!
@Aimless Gallivanter You too!
He is in my forum fan fic at least. Same with Galli. And I too think that Cornflower would be able to use a frying pan easily. I think that maybe the clue is somewhere in the house arrangement, as it was very specific. But if it only took Soren a few minutes to find the breaker, than why did it take the killers a while of sneaking around to do that? Both rooms are next to each other, so unless a guy decided to walk all the way around, or a girl the same, than it would seem odd that it would take so long. Soren probably just knew the place better.
QuoteIt moved outside, and cut the landline
Even though it is a small chance this is an actual clue, there are only two people on the trip who their signature weapon is a knife-like item, Eul's Machete, and Ashe's Chainaxe.
The context of the post implied to me it was a modern 'real world' setting, and thus that all the players were humans, not animals.
I wouldn't read much into the "slithered" thing; I just took it as a purplish way of describing the movement, not a relevant clue. Nobody here now plays as a snake, anyway.
Not sure where the Delthion hedgehog thing came from... maybe I know what my next "What animal is X" poll should be about. ;)
You know James, you might as well play a game of Mafia...
I'm a usually mouse, but I got the impression that we were all human here.
If I remember correctly, on the rare occasion that I did fight, I only threw my shoes and potatoes at people.
I assumed we were human too, but if we're something else, I could be a hare, since there don't seem to be many rabbits in Redwall.
I don't know most members' playing styles, so I can't really comment much on this.
@Sagetip, yes I am a hedgehog, I liked the idea of being a Cellarhog. ;D
I think that Sage was right with Fatch. But I will wait for a time until everyone has made their arguments.
Whoops, a little late to the party. I was busy getting my Driver's Permit and a knife at the Bass and Pro shop :P
Ok, there's only one clue.
QuoteNext was Galli, who was on her phone adding one more reblog on tumblr before finally looking up to examine the house.
It says Galli is making one more post before looking at the house. Maybe she is Mafia and knew the internet would go out? It's possible.
QuoteCorn came in, and set her frying pan down by the door with her luggage.
Corn is the only one mentioned that brought a weapon. This could be a clue, but would be very obvious. And I doubt she and Galli could be Mafia, they were both Mafia in the last game.
QuoteThe first figure snuck around the house until the person found the wifi router, and smashed it. Then it moved to the door. It moved outside, and cut the landline. Cell service was so bad out here, now no one could get a message out. Meanwhile, the second figure slithered around the house until it stumbled across the electrical panel.
These Mafia members do not know their way around the house, which could imply that they hadn't been paying attention when they first came in. I am still hesitant to suspect Galli more than anyone else, she was Mafia last time, which may not mean anything.
QuoteHe started to call out for someone, but then felt a heavy object stike him in the head.
This Mafia member can expertly use a lampstand to crack Soren's ribs, take a hit, then tackle someone who's fighting for their life and choke him out. We must be dealing with some strong male player who can do that. Who would have not only the skill, but the strength to do that?
1. Eul
2. Sage
3. Galli
4. Fatch
5. Groddil
6. Rosie
7. Gonff
8. Chipster
9. Ash
10. Del
11. Corn
It most likely won't be Galli, Rosie, Gonff, Del, or Corn. It's not me, I would know :P
We're left with this list:
Sage, Fatch, Groddil, Chip, and Ash.
We might be able to eliminate Sage and Groddil, I'm not sure how big they are. Pretty sure Groddil mentioned his age one time, and if it's true I doubt it would be him. Sage... I'm unsure, I doubt it. Ash... possibly. Chip... possibly. Fatch may be the biggest suspect.
Perhaps someone that is portrayed as a lion?
Eul's been practicing karate for a while now, right? It's worth noting that experience in most martial arts (judo, jujitsu, and a few others don't use weapons) lends at least a rudimentary undstanding of staffs... And Eul's been doing for quite a few years, right? So it's plausible that Eul used her skills as a martial artist to subdue Soren.
You're talking to Eul right?
Quote from: Delthion on August 09, 2016, 08:41:10 PM
You're talking to Eul right?
I did a quick edit, since you ninja'd me.
Actually, I have not ever learned Karate (that's a kid's sport. Real Martial arts is Jiu Jitsu and Judo). I'm learning Jiu Jitsu and I just started last week. I've only had a week of training and it takes ten to twelve years to get a black belt. If I were good enough to take Soren down like that, I wouldn't need the lampstand. He could have screamed when his ribs broke, so if I were a black belt Jiu Jitsu Mafia, I'd go straight into a choke hold. And Jiu Jitsu does not use staffs, neither does Judo. Look it up, Jiu Jitsu is a lot like wrestling.
Also, I'd like to point out that if that were a clue pointing to me, it would be way too obvious.
I took Judo in elementary school and not once did I hear there was anything to do with staffs. Judo was about self defense, no kicking or punching or anything, just good ole throwing people on the ground.
Do you think we should vote yet? Or should we wait to hear everyone's opinion?
I don't even know who I'm gonna vote for. I might be leaning towards Fatch or Chip. What about you guys? What are you thinking?
Probably you or Galli. Sorry :-\
Could there be a pole that would allow people to see who voted what? That would be much more convenient.

I don't see how that goes against me. I'm saying I would have done it differently. Anyhow, you seem to be quick to jump to conclusions. I see how it
could make sense, but with the evidence I gave you guys, it doesn't. I have no experience with staffs, I don't really even know Jiu Jitsu, and I am not physically strong enough to do what the Mafia did.
And before we go voting too quickly (Gonff and Rosie :P ), I think we need to provide evidence and explain our votes before we vote. It's easier to work together, and we'll be less likely to reach a tie.
Alright, I guess I went a bit too far. :P
Okay, the reason I'm voting for Eul is,

Even though it is a small chance this is an actual clue, there are only two people on the trip who their signature weapon is a knife-like item, Eul's Machete, and Ashe's Chainaxe.
and, Eul seems to be the one to have the most battle technique knowledge in real life and on the forums, so
I vote
Eul.
Well my mind was set on Cornflower, mostly because there was little reason besides a tad of humor to add the frying pan then have someone use something close to it to kill Søren.

Correction: I fought
AS a platypus, which are known for attacking with sharp claws.
On the subject of weaponry, are we really going to believe that "only Corn brought a weapon?" I'm pretty sure that at least one other person is hiding their's in a bag or something.
@Eulaliaaa!: Yeah, I wouldn't be on that list, considering that I'm not exactly muscly... If I were Mafia, I'd probably end up using some sort of ranged weapon, or a "proxy" such as a poisonous animal.
Yeah...
Sorry
Corn.
I was going to point out that someone could use the frying pan to frame Corn, but that does seem a bit far fetched. :P
In the meantime, my vote goes to Eul.
I probably wouldn't say Corn. As Groddil says, someone else probably has a weapon stashed away in their bags.
Other members have a strong case against Eul, so...
I'd like to ask those who voted for Corn one question. If Corn brought a frying pan to the beach house, why would she need to use a lampstand to kill Soren? Why would she not take the frying pan just in case anybody woke up?

I'd like to say that if I used the chainaxe to cut the landline, it would wake everybody up.
But it is still suspicious of Corn to bring her signature weapon, a frying pan, to a place that already has them.
I think my vote may go for Corn, but I'm gonna think about it.

I think this is the best argument out of the four pages I was late to show up to! This one wins my vote of :
Corn. I know it seems
too obvious, but it makes far too much sense to just ignore.
As for those believing myself to be suspect - I only just got online - how could I have killed someone? ::)
Also I'm town. Cross the heart and hope to be Frying Panned over the head by Cornflower :D
I'm going to vote for Eul.
@Eulaliaaa! @Delthion @Cornflower MM You three are the only ones left to vote
Quote from: Lord Ashenwyte on August 10, 2016, 07:42:43 AM
I'm going to vote for Eul.
The poll says you're voting for Corn. Do you want to vote for Eul?
I think voting for Corn makes the most sense. Hopefully we're right.
My vote goes for Corn.
@Fatch of Southsward: LOL. Goofy. ;D
Also, holy ****, what happaned?! Last time I was on the story wasn't up, and the other Mafia hadn't ended. o.O I am so lost. . . . . Also, thanks guys. Cool beans. Every Mafia it's always extremes with me. :P
So yeah, can I think?
Yes you may corn :P
I vote based on all of the arguments that those here and others have made for Fatch.
So Is Eul voted out now? Because no matter who Corn votes for, unless she votes for herself, Eul will still lose
Apparently we'll have a tie.
No, If you scroll up you'll see that Ashe accidentally voted wrong. :)
Ah! ;D
So Eul is dead then? :'(
RIP Eul
It seems history shall repeat itself for the Detective.
So you're the detective?
@Soren We're done voting now :)
There's still time to change votes, if you want. I doubt you would.
Soren said we shouldn't :/
Ashe got to change his vote :P
I'm really sceptical about everyone voting for Eul. It said that the landline was cut, but Del and Ashenwyte could both do that as well. And plus, if anyone out of those three seems vicious enough to be Mafia, it's Ashenwyte. RIP Eul. From the only survivor of the last game to the first death of this one.
When will Town's Detective ever get past the first round? Maybe I can host the game after this one.
(Last Mafia game, the detective went past the first round...)
you mean sam's? no wylder was detective and he died in the very first night.

Of course don't forget the Crimson Sunrise... ;D Both you and I are rather vicious. ;D
I still think that Fatch did it. The mafia usually doesn't post as much for fear of inadvertently giving clues away, and the clue in the story seemed to be his walking strangely. Also he is generally portrayed as a lion and Soren was murdered with a decent amount of strength, the latter suggests male, the former suggests Fatch.
It has been said that we aren't portrayed as our Redwall characters in this game, so for all intents and purposes we're human.
Yes we aren't portrayed as them. But there can still be similarities between our human selves and our characters! ;D
@Eul I was under the impression Ash misvoted, and fully intended to vote for you in the first place. I locked the poll, but will wait until tonight to make the final decision. At around 9ish Central time, voting will close. All revised votes must be posted by 9:45 CST.
I'm still voting for Cornflower. If it is Eul though, I'll be a tad shocked.

@Soren: ok, cool. Poor Town :P
Well Town, best of luck surviving without your Detective. We were able to pull it off last game, so you might be able to win this one. "Who should we vote out?" Asked Fatch, standing among the concerned group. A sudden bickering rose among them, and they murmured against each other until the mob seemed to turn on Eul. "Wait, hold on guys. I was the one who suggested this in the first place. You can't kill me! I'm innocent!" "How do we know?!" Yelled out someone. The crowd surged forward towards her. She took several steps back then fled in an all out sprint. However, Ash was the swiftest of the group and tackled her before she could get away. They dragged her to the beach, and tied her to a post using rope from Soren's giganormous yacht. The tide would take care of her.

false. I retain seniority by at least a minute.
Did we just sacrifice Eul to Poseidon? Does Poseidon even take human sacrifices?
that wasn't a sacrifice that was flat out brutal torture.

Or would it? Did they make sure I didn't have my machete or a knife? I think not! Don't worry guys, I got away and left you to kill each other off. Don't worry. It's all good. I didn't want to hang out with you guys anyway ;D
I told you I was the Detective. Guess the Town just really doesn't listen to me ;D
I think Søren cares more about that yacht than his own forum friends at this point ;D.
@Eulaliaaa!: To be fair, getting really dramatic with "I'm the Detective" when you're about to die is in the Ten Commandents of the Mafia playbook. ;)

Not necessarily; you said it several times before the final voting deadline closed.
Do you think anybody would've changed their votes? I mean, the Mafia put their victim in a choke hold and I'm learning Jiu Jitsu ;D
Just because it was very unlikely to work doesn't mean it isn't something that Mafia are expected to try. ;)
Well, I'm already dead so who cares ;D
Now I shall be busy haunting everyone! Whoooooooo! *haunts Peri*
Whoooo
*Brings out flamer*
The house slept after the murder of Eul. No one was really ready to confront themselves on what they had just done. The horror of her death. How could they ever be forgiven? Would anyone ever understand how a peaceful weekend had turned into two horrible deaths. There was no where to go, no one to call. The Jeeps wouldn't return for several more days.
How would they tell Soren's and Eul's parents? Their loved ones?
These questions plagued their minds as they tried to sleep. However, two figures stirred again during the night. Their weekend of terror had begun, but now, they were going to have some fun. The two pulled out a box they had hidden in their luggage. A chemistry set.
Galli was sleeping soundly, nearly undisturbed by the quiet entry of the two figures. They carried with them a vile that seemed to almost glow. Carefully, they poured it onto a towel. "Let's see if this works as advertised!" One whispered to the other. They suddenly covered Galli's face with the towel as she thrashed about for a few seconds before finally giving out. "I thought it would have been more intense..." said one of the killers. "Oh well. Let's see what the others will think about this!"
_____
NIGHT 1 HAS ENDED WITH GALLI DEAD
DAY 2 HAS BEGUN
THERE ARE NO CLUES IN THE STORY
Please discuss this thoroughly before voting. Each person may change their vote once.
Okay it's Cornflower.
Gross.
Eul Im joining you in the spirit realm. Let's haunt some suckers.
I'd have to agree with Ash for the moment.
Corn is the only one mentioned bringing any luggage into the house:
Quote from: First postCorn came in, and set her frying pan down by the door with her luggage.
And the chemistry set is brought out of some luggage:
QuoteThe two pulled out a box they had hidden in their luggage
That seems a bit
too coincidental, eh?
*really wants to argue with sage but is dead*
It was just speculation. I've heard virtually no input from the others at the moment.
*is still dead*
*haunts sage*
I'm confused, it says there are no clues in the story. So how will we vote?
Clues are (as far as I know) a Redwall forum innovation for the game. Regular Mafia is normally about trying to determine who's what by their speech and actions (previous votes).
(For the record, I don't ascribe much value to story clues; I feel it's far too easy to read something into them that isn't there.)
Yaaay, I have a buddy! *Haunts Sage with Galli*
high five for being dead!

I've seen plenty of Mafia Games with clues on other sites. The one that actually introduced me to the game for one.

I'm trying not to interfere with your mob talk, but everyone had luggage, as you can see in the second paragraph of the story of my untimely demise.
@Rosie You're trying to determine who acts most suspicious, and vote based of that.
Oh. :P I guess I missed that.
I think the question we should ask is: does anyone here know a lot about chemistry?
I would say something, Chip, but I'm dead. So town is gonna have to do without my reply.
same Eul.
amd you blew off my "dead buddies" high five :'(
I really have no idea. No clues and too much vote changing really makes it a match of sitting and waiting for someone to say something a lot of the time. So I can't decide at this point, though we still have a clue from the last night.

Any reasons why?
I am going to vote for Cornflower. My reasons have been stated earlier.

Those reasons aren't very good reasons. That quote? Yeah, that's for a different game. This one hadn't been started, or even thought of for all I know on July 23rd. And how does that make me Mafia? I don't get your reasoning here.

Speaking of which, that made me wonder a bit too.
Ash, you and Sage are really pushing me being Mafia. May I ask why,
@Lord Ashenwyte @Sagetip? Because the reasons you're stating here are rather weak, and I'd like to know more before I vote. Is it because I was Mafia last game?
I'm not pushing, I'm pointed out something that could've been a clue (in hindsight, I'm definitely wrong). At the time, it was the big connection I saw. Just because I pointed that out doesn't mean I think you're mafia.
I think based entirely on this:
Quote from: Rosie Willowwater on August 14, 2016, 12:42:49 PM
Urg! I have no idea who to vote for.
Well I guess I'll vote for Ashenwyte
That I will vote for
Rosie, the mafia hardly ever has any idea on who to vote for because they know that they are the mafia themselves!
Seeing as there are no further clues I'm going to go with the clues from the first night.
They still point to Cornflower in my mind. She also seems to be doing some scrambling - so my vote is for: Corn
Also she was mafia last round, right? The last thing we would expect would be a repeat mafia. That's a great reason for Soren to choose her. Eh? ;)

There were no clues in the second story. The quotes are from the first story.
I vote Corn.
Poll up
I don't know why everyone is voting for Corn. I don't see how her role in previous mafia games would have any impact in her role here.
Does ANYONE here know anything about chemistry?
Well, the closest person, even though I bet he wouldn't even necessarily know chemistry would be Rus, but he isn't even in the game.

All the above reasons, minus the "Mafia in a previous round" one. Because that's ridiculous.
Ouch bro!
I vote Ash. He just seemed a bit too quick to attack Corn.
No hard feelings, mate. XD
It just seems a little ridiculous. We shouldn't be voting people out based on what they were in an unrelated game. It doesn't really make sense that that would be a clue. :P
Okay, so since Del has chosen Rosie but not voted on the poll, and Cornflower probably voting Ash, then it only leaves Chip since Ash said he is voting for Cornflower but not polled like Del (Doing this for you Soren)

Okay, so now is just down to Chip.
Quite frankly, I have no idea. There haven't been any convincing arguments against Corn, but there haven't been any against anyone else!
All right. Ash, because of what Sage said.
EDIT: Oops, looks like we have a tie now...
Well unless Del wants to change his vote, than we are going to have a tie.
I think that Chip and Rosie are the mafia, the mafia hardly says anything about who they think the killer is, either because they don't think of anyone as a threat, or because they have no idea who they want to get rid of first. I don't think that Ashe, or Corn are the mafia. But give me a little time to think and I will change my vote to one of them.
can someone show this poor ghost what the poll says right now?
Ash has four, Corn has four, and I have one.

Edit: Looks like Ash is out, story coming soon.
Was Ash a mafia?
Quote from: Fatch of Southsward on August 18, 2016, 12:09:07 AM
Was Ash a mafia?
I hope so, or else we are down to only a few left. See, if Ash isn't, then two people are still Mafia, and if they kill one person, or even a person in a couple killing two, then there will be either three of four of us still alive who aren't Mafia.
Everyone woke up to the sound of Ash calling out. They rushed in to discover Galli's lifeless body, staring at the wall. "Oh my..." Gonff couldn't even finish his exclamation, he was so horrified. Ash walked forward, and closed her eyes for the last time.
"Who could've done this?" they all thought. Then they turned to Ash. "You were the one that found her!" "Why were you in the room?" "You murdered her!" they screamed; angry and bitter, craving vengeance. "No, I didn't do it! I'm telling you! Don't you believe me?" he pleaded, begin for her life to be spared by the vengeful mob. Corn spoke out "Guys, we should think this through. Maybe he didn't do it, I'm sure there's an explanation..." She was cut off by Sagetip, how pushed her aside and grabbed Ash by the arm. "Let me go!" He cried, but to no avail. As he called out for help, he stretched out his hand, grabbing ahold of the wall. However, the group made another surge, knocking him off his feet and through the window. He landed on the ground a story below. The glass from the window silenced any doubt that he was the latest victim of this awful trip.

Just going to point you to the last few pages.
That's not proof. That's wishful thinking.
"They're turning on each other like a bunch of animals!" Said one Mafia to the other. They were awake during the night, under cover of darkness. The two met together in a bedroom, and we're ready to decide what to do next. "Yes, it'll be easy to dismantle them now. Why don't we try something new?" "Like what?" The second Mafia pulled out a kit from under the bed. The person opened it to reveal a set of explosives. "Like BOOM".
Chipster was quietly sleeping, like the rest of the house. He was away from the others in the group, as he was the odd one out. He had his own little wing in the house. The two villains snuck into the room where he lay. "Perfect plan!" whispered one to the other. It took a while for them to set it up, but once the bomb was ready, they slid it under the bed. "$300 bucks worth of firecrackers, they better work." "It'll be quite a show." One figure struck a match, and held it to the fuse by their feet. They stood off from the set, and watched with anticipation.
The entire house sprung to life as the bomb went off, Chipter's room was exploding in bright and colorful lights stringing towards all directions. Everyone rushed in to find what was left of the poor lad. The fireworks certainly did their work. "Who could commit such madness?!" they all thought.

I'm liking this game a lot.
Give it all some thought, then vote. Each person can change their vote once.
Poll is up too.
Ooh I'm dead!
Oh right...this is only a game...in real life I'm still alive...I guess...
"he was the odd one out" That's rather accurate ;)
Oh well. I'll keep reading this thread, but you'll have to find the mafia without my help. Good luck!
Okay, Chip had the best death so far.
My bet, once again is on Cornflower. Since there have been no other clues except the one in the opening story, my vote still stands.
Edit: Oh, and I guess the Mafia chose a safe option with taking out Chip. He wasn't really one that was full out taking down Cornflower, and I believe voted out Ash. With that, if they chose to take out someone such as Groddil, than of course they would think that Cornflower would be the Mafia since he targeted and voted for her.
Well Chip, at least you went out with a 'bang' hehe :P

If I were reading into the story, I'd say that the Mafia are both male.
There's no clues, so I'm voting for Corn based on past evidence.
Corn has squeaked by one vote short too many times! Time to seal the deal and get the mafia outa here! :)
Tbh - no clues, so this kinda is just the best bet...
So yeah... This is my third vote for Cornflower (It's going to be super awkward if she's not a mafia. ) :P
If she's not a mafia I'm just going to accept that I don't know what I'm doing in this game, since 100% of my votes would be wrong.
Luckily for me, I have a feeling the votes were not wrong... ::)
One more vote for Cornflower and she's out of here.
Sorry corn :-\
I want to go ahead and say this, just in case I am killed in the next night:
If Corn turns out to be the mafia, I believe Sagetip or Rosie would be the other one. The reason being they were the two that defended and saved Corn in the previous two votes. Personally, I'm leaning toward Rosie, because Sagetip implicated that Corn could be the mafia once. Delthion threw away his vote once or twice, so he could also be a candidate, though I kinda doubt it...
If Corn turns out not to be mafia, then I'm going to be completely lost on this whole round, and will be forced to conclude that I am actually the mafia, and just never realized it. :D
^That's reverse psychology, Fatch just hopped onto my suspect list.
Although I do see the reason behind voting Corn, and I think I'll have to vote her. For now. Corn.
It may end up even begin Groddil (Not actually accusing him, but just for an example), seeing as how if one of them would get killed, no one would suspect the one who really wanted her out.

By that same logic it could be you or me! :o
With no clues it's just all up in the air ???
True, so the only real basis is one playing style :P
The hades, y'all?! You're voting me out because of a clue. . . . . A clue that may not even have been the clue?! . . . . . and my playing style?
Well that's not grasping at straws. Not at all.
I, personally, am voting out Fatch.
Why? Because look at his posts! He's basically admitting he has no clue what he's doing, using reverse psychology, and I"m really not trusting the overall feel of his posts. It's like he knows something we don't. . . Perhaps who the REAL Mafia is?
Welp someone's finally voted for my chief suspect. Now to see what happens.
Y'mean Fatch?
Yup.
I also think that Fatch has something to do with it.
Okay, so has everyone voted? It looks like it. I'm just really pumped too see if Cornflower really is the Mafia.
There has only been one clue in the whole story so far. So we have that to go on, and peoples playing styles. If that's grasping at straws, I'm afraid there's nothing else we can do. I would say your implications against me are grasping just as many straws, if not more.
In addition, seeing as I'm not the mafia - I'm not using reverse psychology. I'm just telling the truth.
and I wasn't even online during the time that Soren was voted out. (My first post isn't for pages!) Honestly the only reason to implicate me would be if Corn turns out not to be mafia.
Well, that and the thing about me walking funny and then a 'slithering' mafia. If Corn is not mafia and I'm voted out for that clue next round, I could live with it. But I feel like Corn has to mafia, or else none of the clues we picked up would make sense.
Soren wasn't voted out.
You don't need to be online right then, anyway - mafia has a day or two to select a victim.

Hmph. Thanks. Although it wasn't that hard. . . . It seems, this game, ya'll are going with the group in who to vote for. Honestly, think for yourself. :P
Right now it looks like Fatch is going:
Gonff: Corn
Groddil: Corn
Fatch: Corn
Sage: Fatch
Rosie: Fatch
Corn: Fatch
Del: Fatch
I must be more persuasive than I know. o.O
@Cornflower MM The clue I was referring to was the frying pan and the killer's expertise with a lamp as a weapon. Regardless, unless Delthion changes his vote, I'm dead so it doesn't really matter.
So this is my last dying plea to
@Delthion - I'm not the mafia. Don't make "Fatch, an
innocent was killed by the mob" show up on this game...
If he doesn't change his vote - it's been a fun game. I hope you guys figure out who those darn Mafia are. ;D
Oh. Oops, sorry, the clue I've most been seeing was the suitcase one.
So, just to put my opinion out there, if Fatch isn't mafia than Corn HAS to go.
I'd just like to point out that lamps and frying pans are not remotely similar, even when it comes to combat. The only similarity they share is that they're both blunt weapons. Other than that, wielding one would not help you be able to wield the other.
If Fatch isn't mafia, I'm pretty sure I know who is.
Well, I'm not Mafia, soooo. :)
@Jet in the binturong Yeah, I was figuring on them both being blunt weapons. Do you know who one Mafia is or do you know who both Mafia are?
At least one. I have my suspicions on the other.
Quote from: Sagetip on August 21, 2016, 12:56:45 AM
So, just to put my opinion out there, if Fatch isn't mafia than Corn HAS to go.
That's just it. There are two Mafia, so if Fatch is one of them, then one will still be out there, and kill another person. And if that person is a couple, then that's two more dead. And if Fatch isn't Mafia, then we will be down to either five our four at that point, with two mafia still out there.
Town may still have a chance if one of the Mafia is in the couple. Then if they kill the person also in the couple, a Mafia will die as well.
And
@Delthion could still save me, in which case, assuming Corn is the Mafia, we will still have an extra town person and one less Mafia. Then we might be able to win. :)
Finally, Corn and I might both be town. If that's the case, we're all done for.
I will no longer accept votes after 11:15 pm, CST. Remember: Those who have already changed their vote may not change it back.

@James Gryphon thanks for the roundup :)
Ok guys, voting is officially closed. I can't write the story just now, I'll work on it tomorrow. It's a little late, and I have to get up really early. Big day. Anyway, I'll try to get it up ASAP.
GYAAAAAAAH! The pressure! I am sticking with Fatch.
@Delthion: It was too late to change your vote by then anyway. ;)
I'm telling you we've almost had her every time. If I'm dead next time, look what I've said in my last posts.
Ohhh you guys...
*Shakes Head*
Good luck, you're gonna need it. ;)
It's totally Delthion and Cornflower
Why are you so fixated on me?! Jesus Christ! It's not any fun anymore because all y'all do is say 'Corn's Mafia! She needs to die! Corn's SO definitely mafia! Kill Corn, kill Corn!'
I have to say that I'm going with Del and/or Corn as Mafia. We'll find out soon.
I'm sorry, but how would one more story tell exactly who the mafia is?
If you or Del die, then that's one suspect off the list and it's been narrowed it down.
Sooooo. .. . . . You're saying that if the Mafia don't kill me or Del then we're Mafia? *Insert sarcastic comment here*
Why on earth did I try to talk myself outta being killed? I can't remember anymore.
Well... In a sense, yeah.
The group sat together in a circle. They needed to figure out which of them were killers. Who here had the motive, the drive to kill? Why would they kill? How were they going this survive this horrid week?
Tensions were fraying more and more. The mob mentality had overtaken them all. "You!" said Sagetip, pointing a finger at Fatch. "It's you, isn't it?" "No!" Fatch barked back a reply, but now with a viable target, the mobs acted. They swarmed on Fatch, and picked him up by his limbs. "LET ME DOWN!" he cried, but to no avail. As the dragged him through the monstrous house, they reached a loft area, near a staircase. A magnificent chandelier hung nearby. The mob dragged Fatch to the staircase, but he resisted. He squirmed and fought, and finally broke free. He tried to run, but Del shoved him towards the staircase. Fatch extended his arms, and grabbed the chandelier. Suddenly, they heard a snapping noise. Someone shrieked as the chandelier fell, carrying Fatch down with it. He landed in a explosion of electricity, as bulbs and wires frayed around him. By the time the group reached the floor, there was no question, he was dead.
Del held his brow in disbelief. "I didn't mean to..."
"Hopefully we got the right man this time" said Gonff.

Just Kidding - no hard feelings. My strategy was to keep some suspicion on me, because the mafia wouldn't kill someone the town is considering to vote out. I pushed it a little too far because I didn't think anyone would ever even consider voting me out over Cornflower. I was wrong. :D
Good luck to Mafia and Town alike! Also if the mafia would be willing to PM me - I'm really curious to see who you are. I have several suspicions but I'm dead so I can say no more here. ;)
@Fatch: In my opinion, you did way too good of a job trying to be suspicious. You fit into the category of Mafia players who I think ought to get bumped off just on principle. ;) ;)
But no Mafia would be that obvious - see? It makes everyone question everything and it often works to keep me safe. Plus it's fun to mess with people to make the game more interesting.

Okay, in know this means nothing, but when the Mafia killed Galli, one of them says "Let's see if this works as advertised." Well, Sage is the head of the FNN, which advertises things. This all falls flat however as it says there are no clues in that story. Just a thought though.
Everyone was nervous after the latest incident. What if they didn't get all the killers? Was there a chance they missed something? Their fears were soon to be confirmed.
"Shiny" said one Mafia to the other as they inspected a blade. "There are few weapons as elegant as a knife. So small, yet with proper application, so deadly. So brutal and savage." The other Mafia looked at the first. "Wanna have some fun? Perhaps a little role play?" "Perfect" the other grinned back, sickly. "Where did you even get these?" "I had to call in a few favors. But don't worry. They're totally worth it"
The two snuck into Del's room. By the moonlight seeping through the shadows, you could see their painted faces. Clowns.
One held a towel and swiftly gaged Del, waking him up. He squirmed and fought, but the Mafia touched the blade to his face. "Dont move and don't make a sound if you want to keep your ear." Del froze. "Good" said the Mafia. The person lightly tapped the knife against Del's cheek. "This is going to be fun!" Del, suddenly realizing his life was going to end, surged to action, throwing himself and jerking widely until he was able to mangle free. The two Mafia tried to keep him, but Del was skinny, and used a nearby lampshade as a weapon. He made his retreat, calling out to everyone. He stumbled and fell, and when he got up Sage was looking down at him trying to help him up. Gonff grabbed the things he had dropped, and the entire group huddled around Del. "Did you get a good look at them?" asked Groddil. "No, they were wearing face paint" "Are you hurt?" asked Corn. "No, I'm okay." "I'm glad you're okay!" said Rosie. Sage started to speak, but Gonff took control. "That's it! Tonight, we don't wait around for another Mafia attack. Tonight, we bring the fight to them!"

Just gonna draw attention to myself before one of the Mafia does. The fact that the two Mafia mention Roleplay points to me and Sage being guilty (as we're in the same RP group.) Anyway, as no Mafia would ever deliberately draw attention to themselves like that, I'm voting for Corn. Do with that as you will
Also, who wants to bet Gonff and Rosie are the Cupid couple? That would make sense...
I don't want to mess around anymore with any of the false mafia.
I vote Corn
Okay, I'm going with Cornflower, not only because of the role play, but because it's been her the whole time. Though, there was one thing I caught in the story. It said "he" when one of the Mafia was talking. I won't go throwing people around yet, but is this intentional?

It's Sage and Gonff! They were right behind me and picked me up before anyone else was there! They might have tried to remove suspicion from themselves by helping me. I am voting for Sage.
Go ahead, I'm not it. I think that Corn might not be mafia. Murdering Del isn't the act she would make, because she was one of the prime mafia suspects, and why would she put more blame in herself?
But at the same time, I've been holding off long enough. Corn.

I've been swamped this week, but hopefully I'll have the story by this afternoon.
No rush. :P
The group was determined now. No more fooling around. No more waiting for another person to die.
Each guest armed themselves. Sage with a big book. Gonff with a fountain pen. Del with a lampshade. Corn with a steak knife. Groddil with a rubber snake. Rosie with a pillow. Each was alert and ready to act. But which two were going to act against the others?
They spilt up, heading in each direction. Groddil elected to go with Corn. He secretly admired her. Her determination through all of this. Her ingenuity. Her hair. Her beautiful, beautiful... "SNAP OUT OF IT!" he thought to himself, mentally kicking himself. He had to impress her. "Where'd she go?" he thought. Suddenly, he turned and saw his adorable angel spring on him, knife drawn. "Ahhhh!" he cried. He stared into his beloveds eyes, and sobbed "but I loved you..." and expired. He died a happy man, albeit with mixed signals.
Corn realized her folly. Groddil had seen her too early, he yelled out. The others would be here here any moment. Sure enough, she felt Del come from behind and tried to cover her eyes with his lampshade. She smacked him, and struck out with the knife. He barely was spared by the lampshade that caught her arm. She fled Del, and ran into Sage. He threw the book at her, and she dodged. Rosie grabbed her, and attempted to smother her. Corn shrugged her off, and knocked her into Gonff, who held her in his arms with admiration. They locked eyes as Corn ran. She ran and ran. This was a disaster. Everything had gone wrong. But she will have her reve...
The house was filled with her shrieking as she fell threw a window that she hadn't been aware of when running. She landed with a hard slump. "We got her this time." said Sage. "Yes, but at what cost?" said Del, looking down at Groddil's lifeless body.

Well, that was... Interesting. Dunno why I had a rubber snake, but it was bloody hilarious. Soren, aren't you supposed to tell the Cupid couple who they're partnered with?

Not that I'm aware of, no.
Whoops, mistake double post.

No you definitely aren't.
Okay, so if I get killed tonight, here is my accusations. Del is probably the doctor and has been saving himself the whole game. Though I would guess that Rosie would seem more doctor like, but I dunno. Sage however, might not be the Mafia, but I'm still not positive on that. However, Rosie is my highest suspect. On multiple occasions she voted for Cornflower, but always ended up changing her vote in end. So if she is killed off, Sage is my next subject. If Sage, then Rosie. If Del, then whoever bonds with me in the end. And if I get killed off, just know that this is what I'm leaving behind. Everyone has been accused by me, so it could be anybody.

We did in Presidential Mafia.
Well you're not supposed to. The game is much worse if the cupid couple knows about it.
Although, now that I think of it, Jet is a pretty likely suspect, since Corn was one mafia, Jett would most likely be the other.
On the Cupid rule thing: I'm not sure how that change could make the whole game 'much worse'; it isn't like the Doctor self-healing. It makes sense from a game perspective if the Cupid couple knows so they can aim for a shared victory (and not getting themselves killed by taking out their lover). I think more information about player roles is generally a good thing; it increases the depth of people's decision-making.

If it was told however, and one of the Cupid couple was really suspecting the Mafia in one round, then they could kill their partner and get two people. Plus if they knew that would really silence both of them.
I think it's better this way, regardless of any other way it was played in Presidential Mafia. That seems dumb to me, to do it like that. But whatever, here's the story:Later that night, no one wanted to speak. No one could after what happened with Corn.
"Do you think we got them all?" asked Del to Gonff. The two were near a fire clutching their shock blankets. So many of their friends were dead. Gonff shrugged. "Maybe. I don't want to take any chances." Rosie walked over and sat next to Gonff. She was in just as much shock as everyone else. Sage eventually joined them. "There's still a couple of days before the cars come for us. Groddil was working in the electrical box. We should work on that, maybe we can get an emergency call out." he said. "Good idea" said Del.
As Del worked on the box, the others tried to stay awake and help, but needed to take a quick nap. They had all gone through so much stress. However, during the night, one rose.
Del was still toiling on the electrical box. He had separated the two main power lines. "Now, how do these connect?" he said to no one in particular. A figure was behind him, and touched his shoulder. He spun around. "Oh, it's you!" he said. Suddenly, the figure pushed him down into the wires. As the electricity surged, he was unable to speak or cry out. He could only stare. The power in the house flickered momentarily as he died.
The three remaining guests work up to find him dead. Was it wrong that the sight of death had dulled their reaction? They could only quietly sob with each other. One of them was a killer. But for the moment, they were all victims.
DELTHION, THE DOCTOR, HAS BEEN KILLED BY MAFIA
NIGHT 4 HAS ENDED
DAY 5 HAS BEGUN
THERE IS 1 CLUE ON THE STORY
And then there were three. I'm so intrigued.
So I'm leaning towards suspecting Sagetip until anyone gives better evidence. For one thing he was the one who suggested working on the power supply so he could easily have planned the murder victim to be the person who volunteered to work on it.
Now that someone has voiced their suspicions, I agree. I've suspected Sage since before Fatch died.
jet buddy you if you're gonna keep popping in with your opinions and predictions like that you should probably just join the game next time.
I'll try to.

Please tell me you were refrencing this Soren, please.
Okay, so this is the one option I did not want to happen. I still have very high suspension on Rosie, but I will probably vote out Sage, simply because he offered for someone to check the wiring. That seems to be the only clue. Sage, what have you to say?
EDIT: Re-read the story, and I don't know if its a typo, but it says there is clue on the story, not in. And, it said the killer rose, which is close to Rosie. I dunno, I'm probably just reading way too far into it.

If I can just offer my five cents...
I don't think it's Sagetip. When Del saved himself the other night, Sage was first on the scene, followed by Gonff. Cornflower and Rosie arrived later. The Mafia needed to wash off their face paint, so it makes sense that they would take longer to get there. Cor- Peony seems to support that. Plus, why would he suggest for Del to check the wiring if he was going to kill him? It would be stupid, because everyone would think that "He told him to do it so he could kill him." Mafia wouldn't do that. They would wait for somebody else to come up with an idea, then twist it to suit their own goals. So I encourage you not to vote for Sage. Whether I'm right, I dunno. Whether you listen, I dunno.

Hmm, this is interesting. This also would go along with Rosie never actually voting for Cornflower. Rosie, what have you to say?
Quote from: Delthion on August 25, 2016, 09:47:54 PM
I'm guessing Rosie, I know that I am not Mafia, Sage and Gonff probably aren't because of having to take time to wash off the paint.
Groddil you were paired with Corn. ;D
*Ghost reminds people of this post.* ;D
People that are dead or not in the game aren't supposed to be offering strategy. It kinda negates the point of killing somebody if they can speak from the grave. ;)
I didn't offer any strategy that wasn't already offered, I was just making sure that they hadn't forgotten! ;D
Yeah... that still counts.
Meh...are you saying that I should remove that?
Well, there were like 3+ people that did it. I was just giving a general reminder.
Okay. ;D
So, I come back on here from a restful sleep for the last school day of the week, and I'm suspected as mafia?
I'd just like to elaborate on Groddil's point: why would I imply my actions to supposedly murder Del? When we were talking about what to do, I simply stated that "we" should get back to work on the electrical box. I never said Del should do it. I would've set someone up to be murdered. I'm not the Mafia.
But if you were mafia anyone who volunteered could be the victim, and if no one volunteered then no harm done.
But if Inhad already picked my target, then why wouldn't I make him work on the box?
Cause that would be too suspicious
Quote from: Rosie Willowwater on August 26, 2016, 01:23:29 PM

Do you have any evidence...?
Yeah, Rosie's my suspect. Gonff leveled some accusations I agree with, and Rosie's using one reason to try and get me voted out.
Well I know I'm not mafia and there is only two people left so if I find a clue pointing to you I'm gonna go through with it.

I almost wrote this as well, but thought better of it. I've been tempted to offer my suspicious sooo much lol.
Okay. I'm voting Sage
Okay, so this is probably wrong, and I'm going to get myself killed, but I'm going to vote for Rosie. I've gone threw every page and the evidence still isn't clear, but she is my final vote.
So does that mean I'm voted out? Because Sagetip seems intent on getting me out. If so, I wish you both luck alone while I haunt your bodies reminding you of the terrible descision you have made in deciding to murder me ;D
No, Sage hasn't voted yet.
But he definintley seemed like he anted to vote for me, and I don't think I was able to change his mind :'( ;D
Good thing Skye and Dann didn't see that post. ;D

I'm gonna be so surprised if the mafia turns out to be Gonff ;D
Well, this is the last round right? If Rosie is mafia it is over. If she is not, then the mafia will kill the last town member next round.
Seeing as the people have already voted:
If it is Rosie - This is who my vote would have been for. I would not be surprised
If it is Sage - I would be a little surprised - but he was next in line on my suspect list
If it is Gonff - It would have been one of the best mafia plays ever. He voted for Corn every single time (which would be his own fellow mafia) and called her out several times. If Gonff is mafia and wins I will not be mad - I will be madly impressed.

The three friends sat in silence. They didn't feel like moving. They didn't want to do anything except just sit and analyze. Rosie got up, resting a hand on Gonff as she did. "I think I should try to sleep." Gone smiled to her as she left. He suddenly felt weary of Sage. "What if he's actually a killer?" he though. Gonff scooted away from him. Sage was uneasy about the both of them. Rosie, who had been quiet the whole trip, hung on Gonff a lot. Gonff didn't seem to mind. Sage narrowed his eyes. "Maybe they're a little too close..." he wondered.
Rosie stood in the bathroom of the magnificent house. She brushed her hair unto a nice, straight curtain. She just stared at herself in the mirror. "Corn was right." she thought to herself. "These boys are easy. All I have to do is finish these two up, and then she'll finally be proud of me! I can be just... like... her..." she smiled. She dug in her bag, and pulled out a lipstick. She pulled off the cap, and wrote on the mirror.
Gonff had drifted asleep as Sage rose. He wanted to check out some of those bags Rosie had. He snuck into the luggage room. Opening her suitcase, he nearly jumped at the sight. Explosives, knives, rope, guns, and more weapons he didn't even recognize. All he could do was cover his mouth. He picked up a small revolver, and examined it. It was loaded. He stuck it in his pocket and quickly put everything back. "What are you doing?" asked an eerily feminine voice. He jumped and faced Rosie. "Nothing." he said "just grabbing a few things from my bag." She stared at him as he scurried away.
Sage ran into the next room. "Gonff! Gonff Gonff Gonff!!!" he called out. "What?" asked Gonff. "Look what I found in Rosie's bag!!" Before Gonff could even process what he was seeing, Rosie sprung. She wrapped her arms around Sage's neck, dragging him to the ground. "ROSIE NO!" Gonff cried. Rosie struggled to suffocate Sage, but he was able to get the edge on her and shoved her off. Gonff tried to separate the two. "Please, stop!" he pleaded. Sage pulled the revolver out of his pocket. "She's the killer! Can't you see?!" In the moment of Gonff's confusion, Rosie sprung on him. Sage closed his eyes and pulled the trigger. Rosie hit the ground. The bullet grazed over Gonff's shoulder and between her eyes. Gonff hit the ground in shock, holding her closely. Sage sat down in shock, shaking. He tossed the gun away, and wept.
Three days later, the cars came to pick up the once happy group. People called the police, who arrived later to the gruesome sight. The terror they found in the hollowed eyes of the remaining two teens effected even them. As they examined the house, they came across a mirror in a bathroom, with bright red lipstick carved into a message.
We are not interested in the possibility of defeat.
Not within the silence of a sleeping house, nor the clamor of a teenage mob.
Fear can not be vanquished, we can not be destroyed.
Fear will rise up again and control the masses, take back the power and crush the insurgent hoard that means to quench it.
As this week fades in to the distant memories of injured do-gooders and open wounds,
they will feel the fear of dying young.
Lie awake at night in terror, admitting fear will return to glory and the story of those who set out to conquer will finish in death.
All that they love and care for will sink
Into the abyss of a new dark age
Made more sinister
And perhaps more protracted
By the light of perverted science and rebellion
The whole root and heavy core
will perish in starving captivity
You will never win your freedom
You cannot escape fear.THANK YOU FOR PLAYING MAFIA: LAST NIGHTS OF SUMMER
So when you said my suspicions were "not quite" right, what you meant was "completely wrong."
Regardless, cool story. The message Rosie wrote was very eerie.
Rosie and Corn. Obvious at times, yet they nearly won. :)

YAS!! I GUESSED RIGHT!! By the way, I was the Cupid, and originally set Galli and Ash. Søren however forgot about it so I chose Cornflower and Groddil. Sorry Groddil...
Also, this has to be my favorite game of Mafia in a long time. I literally was thinking about this all day, hoping I picked right. The story was so engaging, and the deaths just so enjoyable. After Galli does hers, I hope to finally get my chance to see if I can join the legends of Mafia making.
