I saw a video about it on Yahoo, and apparently the weasel was just a baby. They didn't say anything about it trying to kill the bird.

  Wow, my Fade nerd is a jerk.  Solas just dumped me, going, "Oops, sorry, Inquisitor, I distracted you from your work.  'Kay byyyyyeeeeeeee!"  And then he just ran back to Skyhold, leaving my poor Inquisitor going, "Wait, what just happened?"

  I really wish I could use Stonefist on him while he's sitting pretty at his desk.  He deserves it.

  (Pay no heed to my rant here; just talking about Dragon Age and how Solas toyed with my Inquisitor's emotions before cruelly dumping her.)

   This is why you should play D&D. You could, if you wanted to, go off on a tangent plot and exact revenge, rather than spamming spells at an unkillable NPC. :P
