Yeah.  It's just kinda weird how he mashed it up with Christian allegory in his books.

That's not actually what it said; it said they were said to be. We have to consider the source. I'm sure Mrs. Beaver wouldn't lie, but there's no special reason to assume that she knows anything much about the subject.
