I'm keen to draw Redwall art again, though I am rather busy with other pictures at the moment. I get quite anxious about posting my drawings on lots of sites so I'm trying to be brave here! I'll start the thread off with two ooold pics I still have in Photobucket which are always interesting to look back upon after years (and cringeworthy!). Hope you don't mind my posting old pics! :)
A Stoat? Weasel?

Oh dear! The proportions...

And lastly (I think):
As you might see, I did these back in April 2004. I hope I've improved some since then. XD
Thanks for looking. :)
EDIT 2017: Due to a Photobucket change of rules, none of my art is currently showing. What an exciting art thread I have now!!! :)
EDIT 2: Slowly started re-uploading to another host. Oldest and newest pictures now showing up. So many in between to consider whether to show or not...
WOW! You're great! I'll be waiting for more art!
Very nice! I like the hare the best!
Those are great! Good job!
Thank you! :)
By the way, those were draw with biro (ball point pen).
Nice!
Those are awesome! I love the hare!
Random question that I know someone else will ask if I don't: Would you possibly be open to requests?
Cool!
Thanks. :)

Unfortunately at the moment, because of my life circumstances, I'm not really in the position to be drawing pictures willy-nilly. However, once I can sort getting a job and finishing some commissions and so on, hopefully then I'll have some time to do some.
So watch this space. :)
We will!
I love your style, it's exactly what I could picture all those Redwall critters as. Very cute. Looking forward to future pieces from you!
Thank you!
I've got a few little doodles I might upload in a few days. :)
Okay, I've decided to accept ONE request for now. I need to get back in the swing for drawing and I'm eager to draw some Redwall-related characters. As it's only one I'm accepting now, it's first come first serve! Please give me enough information to work with. Thanks! :)
Hi! I presume you haven't gotten a request yet? If not,
Name: Captain Rusvul
Age: 16
Species: Red Fox
Gender: Male
Clothing: A white poofy rennesaince/pirate shirt, with a tough brown leather vest overtop of it. Similar belt, with a brass buckle.
Weapons: Brass-plated pistol with gear at back, short electric bayonet, and three triggers. As well as a rapier.
Personality: As the captain of an airship, he is an inspirational leader, but also very logical. He won't tell his crew that they'll win the battle if they won't. He does whatever's best for his crew, willing to sacrifice himself if necessary. He is a pirate, but only robs from his enemies. Doesn't like killing, prefers a more peaceful method, such as marooning, but is willing to fight, kill, and possibly die. Kind, but realatively quick to anger, and when angry, he is very angry. Can't let little things, like insults, go. Always has to argue back. He can, however, admit when he's wrong, he always keeps his word, and he never lies. He values all three of those qualities, and despises those who do not comply with his rules of honor.
Other: He has three vertical scars across his eye, the longest one is right in the middle. And one small scar across the top of his snout. The top half of his left ear is missing. These are old wounds.
Sounds a fun character! I've been busy the last few days to properly use the forum. I'll come back soon and check the details (there's a few things I'll need to ask about). :)
I was sorting in the loft and found a few more old pics... hope you don't mind me showing more oldies rather than newies! Rusvul, don't worry, I've not forgotten your request! :)
In 2004 again:
Hare poses.
Whaddyaknow, I actually drew the Taggerung once! (How on earth would that sword fit in that holder? Haha):
PICS REMOVED DUE TO PHOTOBUCKET. MAY RETURN ONE DAY.
Post some more - in colour! - later. Thanks for looking. :)
Great!
Those are awesome!
Thanks! :)
More oldies!
FINBARR AND FOXWOLFTHINGYBOB.
I didn't draw them with clothes so think this might have been inspired by Redwall rather than particular characters... not sure now!
BADGERS AND FOXES.
REMOVED DUE TO PHOTOBUCKET. MAY RETURN ONE DAY.
Wow! Those are great! :)
Nice Was the first pic a picture of The Foxwolf and Finbarr Galedeep?

I think so. And it looked great! Don't worry, Meadorabbit, take your time :)

Yep - 'tis indeed. :) Thanks again!
Okay, here's the last few and hopefully I'll get some modern stuff up eventually!:
SLAGAR
I had forgotten that Slagar had a female companion before I saw this again:
...AND THINGYBOB.

Absolutely spiffin' marm! :)

I'm starting to work on your pic now. Do you have any examples of how you'd like the weaponry listed above to look? I'm not overly familiar with them and obviously want to get them right. Thanks! :)
Nice!
You're very good at drawing! ;D
Thanks! I'll get some NEW pics up soon. :)
Trying to decide how to draw my new Redwall characters, here's my red squirrel. The colouring around her is meant to be scruffy, partly because I just couldn't be bothered to colour it. :P The scanner messed up the colours a tad.
SQUIRREL IN TREE.

That looks amazing Meadow!
Very nice!
I love it! Such a cute squiddel takin' a nap. :D
Nice ;D
It's great!

The pistol would be like an old flintlock, the kind that you might see Jack Sparrow or those dudefaces from treasure island or any random generic pirate or highwayman using. Except with a large gear at the back, instead of/along with a serpentine. The bayonet is like a dagger with one straight edge, and one curving one. The straight edge is the one fastened to the barrel. The bayonet might extend, oh, six inches past the barrel? The three triggers are all crammed into the one triggerspace in whatever orientation you like. One is the color of the gun, one is brass, and the last one is painted red. The rapier can be whatever you think is best.
Thanks. I'll see if I can insert those into the picture and I'll try and finish it today, now that you're back. :)
Thanks for the comments!
Here's a Redwall mouse, possibly Matthias. Again, it didn't scan too well.
MOUSE IN MONK STUFF.
REMOVED DUE T0 PHOTOBUCKET.
Nice!
He looks great!
Thanks. :)
Here's a doodle I did a little while ago to decide how my Rabbit character should look:
MEADOW POSING.
Annnd, what Rusvul's been waiting for, his request! I do hope you like this as I had fun with it. I tried a different pose and experimented with colours after randomly deciding to draw it on green card! I'd drawn up most of him before the weapon descriptions so I only had room to have his rapier and a small gun so hope that's okay. Do click it for the larger version! Yeah... really hope you like it! :)
RUSVUL FOX.

Those. Are. Awesome! Especially Rus! :D
Wow, those drawings are amazing!!
Really good!
They're awesome!
Captain rusvul is great!
Thank you, all! :D
Beautiful! Very stylized, which I don't generally like, but you have made quite an exception! Very nice artwork, I'll be excited to see when more requests are open!
Thanks, Norham! :)
Your stuff looks amazing! I love it.
Great arkwork!
Thank you. :)
Hey, look. It's me. Hi me. Who drew you, me? MeadowRabbit did? OH, well if you see Meadow, tell them that you, or, I, look spectacular, and that your pose is great. Although my, or, your? sword is not as I envisioned it, I like the way that it is! So, yeah, me. Be sure to tell MeadowRabbit a thank you from me! Or... you?
Ha! :D Yeah, sorry I don't draw weapons very much so it's not quite right D: I must work on my weapons drawing for future pictures!
Glad you like it, anyway! :) He/you were very fun to draw!
Would you be open to another request?
As it's nearing Christmas I ought to feel more giving... so okay, I will accept a request. :)
I'll have a think about whether I'll have time to do any more requests soon.
Then could you please draw Romsca? I can post a description if you'd like, or you can just draw her how you imagine her
A description would be good! :)
I posted a really good description a while ago and I can't seem to find it...
Anyway, she wears grayish-blue trousers, a white shirt similar to the one you drew for Rusvul, a black vest, a blue bandana around her neck and a red bandana on her head underneath a three-cornered hat with a green feather, a cutlass, tattoos, a scar that looks like it would have gone through her right eye (above and below her eye but not deep enough to cut her eye), a blue, red, and orange tartan sash; and a dark blue overcoat
Anything else is left up to your imagination! :D
Sorry if I was a bit OCD with my list :P
Thanks for the ref. It'll have to wait a little bit as I'll be too busy the next week or so to really get any drawing done! :)
I'm trying to get to your level of skill, these are spectacular! I really like your art style. It's like a mixture of traditional and a small bit of cartoon. Pretty realistic!
Aww, thank you very much. :) I'll take a look at your drawings soon!
Is it alright to send in requests? I would rather not inconvenience you if you are too busy.
You can give me a request, I just won't be able to work on it very soon.:)
A new pic! I drew it last year and forgot about it. Coloured it the other day. It could be a generic Redwall mouse warrior or maybe it's actually one of the named?
DUNNO WHICH PIC THIS WAS.
REMOVED DUE TO PHOTOBUXKET
That's very cool!
Very nice! I like the pose you drew him in!
Cool!
Awesome!
So here is the start of my posting my drawings for the Doomwyte art challenge! As I said before, it was a fun exercise to do and I'm already keen to do the challenge for the Martin the Warrior book soon. ;D
Please note that I didn't plan to spend too much time on the drawings and you will find a lot of them are in quite a purposely quick and scruffy style and you can see which I decided to spend a bit more time on - I'm not that awful a drawer, honest. :p I also tried to vary the styles a little, and every single drawing is entirely traditionally drawn.
I tried to split them up into groups so I shouldn't have too many pages to upload. Please, please click and full view this image because you just can't make out all the characters well enough straight off here...
IMAGES REMOVED DUE TO BE TOO SMALL! PLEASE FIND THE SAME IMAGES ON THE NEXT PAGE OF THIS THREAD.
Thanks for looking! :) Next part up later or tomorrow.
Wow! Great Job On all of this MeadowRabbit!
You're an awesome artist.
Neat! Ther're lookin' great!
Great job, Meadow!
Thanks! :)
IMAGE REMOVED - CHECK THE NEXT PAGE OF THE THREAD!
Those look great, Meadow! Amazing job!
Real cool!
Thanks again! I'd be interested if anyone could let me know which characters I've drawn they've liked best so far? :)
Image removed because it was too small!
Once again, so cool! I really like Dubble and Dwink. And the DAB, I like how you have them looking at the elders!
AWESOME!!!! Dubble looks just like I imagined him!
Thank you!
Sorry to be a pain but I have just had to rearrange the images. I noticed that on full view the picture wasn't much larger than it appeared on here, so it was hard to make out all the pictures, which kind of defeated the point... So now I'm splitting them into threes rather than sixes. The images still come up small on the link and I'm not sure how to solve that, but at least you can see the three clearer.
So please do click back through these links as they will now be a bit more easy to see :) :

None at all? :o I'm not sure what to suggest if photobucket isn't working for you. :/
If I look at them on my phone they might work. I'll try that

DARN IT, PHOTOBUCKET!!!
Those are just so amazing! I'm glad that you could keep up with them nd finish the project! :)
Thanks! I'm not sure if I mentioned yet that I'm probably going to do the challenge for Martin the Warrior soon! There's a wealth of different characters in that book, so it'll be fun. ;D
Was going to post more in a second. Photo bucket keeps being unresponsive, though, so maybe later... we're nearly there - phew! :D

Thank you to everyone who took a look through my Challenge pictures; I am grateful for the notice and feedback! :)
Those are all awesome, the last two especially
I Love Zaran! Your art is awesome! I Love it.
Super I like Welzz too!
Welzz is amazing! Great job on all of them!
Thank you, all! :D
Now I will hopefully get around to that Romsca request soon...
I love how your art is so good, yet so simple!
First upload in quite a while! Did this back in May, but had computer problems which made transferring and uploading pictures a pain.
An otter inspired by High Rhulain. Bit different style; built it up with felt tip strokes on pink paper.
REMOVED.
Nice! I like his face, and how you drew the fur!
Very cute! Happy otter is happy. :D
Nice job. :)
Love his happy expression! Nice job, Meadow!
wow these are awesome!!! Good job :D
I love that otter! :D
Thank you, all! :)
Woah! That is cool!
Christmas Day might be over with, but it's still the festive season for another week! I feel suddenly generous in this time of giving and would like to do a sketchy picture, probably non-coloured through lack of time, for up to three members. Maybe more if I get any time. It'll be a nice thing for me to do... if anyone is interested in one. Also to encourage me to draw more again. :)
So for now, it's first three to show interest! What I do ask is for a clear description of the character (not plural!) and nothing crazily detailed and complicated - again it's time-wise. Thanks. :D
*Waves hand in the air* Could you do this charrie for me, please?
Name: Mayflower ("May")
Gender: Female
Species: Hare
Age: 19
Weapon: Twin daggers sheathed on either hip.
Description: May is a haremaid of average height, with light tan fur and big brown eyes. She is a little shy at times, but once you get to know her she opens right up. May is generally a bit quiet and unassuming, but once provoked, she has all the ferocity of a tiger - both in battle and in fighting for what's right. In general, she is more inclined to be tolerant of so-called "vermin" than most other woodlanders. May wears a green tunic and a belt, a short, hooded brown cloak, and a pair of black boots.
Hobbies: Traveling (though she only left Redwall about a season ago), and reading.
Could you do this guy?
Name: Seafoam
Gender: Male
Species: Otter
Age: 17
Appearance: Seafoam is an albino, he is tall and quite lithe but fairly well muscled. He does of course have whip scars on his back as all slaves probably do but he also has one over his left eye.
Cloths: A light blue cloak and a sleeveless dark blue tunic (looted from a dead corsair)
Weapons: A katana (also looted from a dead corsair), claws and teeth
Personality: Seafoam is very introverted, he rarely speaks to anyone and is close to very few. He keeps his emotions hidden under a facade of apathy. In battle he is savage and brutal.
Could I possibly have the final of the three positions for requests? I can't post a description quite yet, as I'm about to watch The Librarians with my family, but I'll attempt to post one later on tonight or tomorrow.
EDIT: Finally decided to post an actual request, not just a placeholder. ::)
Adam Harrison
Name: Adam Harrison
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Species: Hare
Physical appearance: Adam's a rather lean and tall hare, being about six feet tall with a very thin, slightly fragile frame. His fur is dark, dark brown with white patches, and his eyes are a cold icy blue in colour, but are quite kind and soft.
Clothing: Adam's usual attire consists of an olive green tunic with gold thread on the collar, and he has a baggy sweater that's held shut by a knot on the bottom hem, which ends at his hips. He also has a grey scarf wrapped loosely around his neck.
Personality: Loyal and hardworking, Adam Harrison is definitely a hare you can trust. He is, however, quite shy, and when conversing with strangers, he doesn't typically speak unless he's asked a question.
Pose: Could you possibly draw Adam reading, lying in a field, or running?
I will get to them asap. :)
For Jukka!
And just for explanation as to different colours and rough lines: I'm trying to finish up some coloured pencils which have got pretty small. I sketched out the drawing roughly with a lighter colour and then went over with it darker. :)
REMOVED DUE TO PHO...
Very cool and very cute! :D
Thanks!
I would have just pasted these all together but was a problem with the links...
For Jet!
(If it's coming out too light on your monitor I can darker it for you.)
For Rainshadow!
Hope they're liked. :)
Wow, nice art! What do you use to draw it, may I ask?
Liked? More like loved! Adam looks adorable, and Seafoam looks really awesome, too. :D
Thank you so much for May! She looks awesome! :D
Glad they're liked - or loved. :P
Ashenwyte, I used coloured pencils for those pics. :)
I have another picture coming for somebody who has had to wait a very long time. >_< .....
Wow, those are so good!
Wow these are awesome! They look great. ;D
I love them! Those are really really cool! How long does each one usually take?
Awesome work! Thanks
Glad they are liked! :)
Tammo - those particular ones only took a few minutes. I'm not the best at estimating time, though! But I know if I'm just doing sketchier pictures like that I can get them done pretty quickly.:)
Okay, so here's the picture that should have been done months ago - time really went around from me there >_< - with the same techniques and paper choice as Rusvul's picture from the same request set, here's my picture for Romsca! So, so, so sorry for the massive wait :( - hope you will like it!
XURRENTLY REMOVED...
Please note the picture is coming up tiny on the forum, so if you click it it should come up a more accurate size.
Romsca is still ready to attack some 'goodbeasts' who are making their escape! Just a random scenario there. :D
That's really cool!
Very nice, I love your work! May I place a request, please?
Thanks. :) You may place a request, however I probably won't be able to get it done for a few weeks - pretty swamped with pictures to get finished at the moment. ^^; So if you're okay with waiting for a little while, do go ahead with the description. :)
Wow these are really awesome.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(:D :D :D :D :D :D :D)(100)
Thanks so much! That's great!
Glad you've seen it now! and Thank you. :)
Very Cool
Wow, those are amazing!
Thank you! :)
Woah, those are some really fine sketches, my friend.
I'm reading the topic VERY slowly (because it's longer than my attention span xD) but I'm definitely liking what I'm seeing. Keep it up!
Thank you! :)
It's been a while...
After reading The Bellmaker I was actually pretty inspired to draw again, and full paged scenes at that. From there I will continue a series of Redwall and Redwall-inspired picture scenes. All on non-white paper. Just a bit of fun really, wasn't trying to be too serious with them. But hope they're liked. :)
As ever, probably best to click the link as the forum will shrink it. Typically scanning and trying to adjust on the computer killed the colours somewhat.
OLD MOUSE LOOKING DOWN
LEARNED MOLE
MAY RETURN...
More to come soon and whenever. :)
Wow! Okay, those are awesome!
^Agreed. Well done!
Yes, those are incredible!
O.o
Those are even better than I expected. Good job.
:o
Those look like they could be official Redwall art. Well done, Meadow!
Nice work, those look absolutely fantastic!
Sorry I haven't replied since I posted --- thanks, all! :) I'll try and get some more up soon.
:o.
Those are in incredible! Your a great artist!
You should, like, LEGIT be an illustrator!! (forgive the teenage girl language. I picked it up over the summer. :P)
Thank you! :D
Well I occasionally actually illustrate some stuff - though not quite like these. :)
First picture in ages!! Surprised that my art thread is still on the first page.
Did this brief doodle last year and decided to finally get it coloured up. In
Martin the Warrior (I think this was) there was a moment which amused me where I think Badrang swipes the sword at a weasel named Lumpback and it causes his trousers/clothing to fall down. Ha. Had to draw it. :D

Thanks for looking. :)
That's hilarious Meadow! Thanks for drawing it. :D
That's awesome, Meadow!
Niiice!
Thanks! :)
Oh you are quite skilled! I look forward to seeing more art by you!
Thanks. :) Here's another quick doodle I finally got around to colouring up the other day. Brome, also from
Martin the Warrior reprimanding a villain:

Thanks. :) One more pic soon and then I'll slow down again here...
Wow, your art is really cool!

Last one for now. A little doodling of Gonff (probably):
REMOVED...
Do you take requests?
I don't really these days due to lack of time... but if you're interested in one and want to leave some info here, I might be inspired to draw when I have a bit of time. :)
Holy crumpets... just seen that none of my pictures are showing, and further investigating, seems to be a problem with Photobucket and I might not even get any pics I might still want off? Nor will they be able to be shown at all on here or other sites. Better see if I can get in and them out without paying... *sigh* :/ Anyone, which image hosting site should I use instead, please?
Oh. Right.
Turns out in order for you to post pictures on other sites you need to pay photobucket a monthly subscription.
I think I will switch to imgur or google pics myself. :P
Yeah... no way am I paying a subscription! At least I can still access my photos to remove them or save them. I gather you can still link to an image on here, and that it's only inserting the image that is disallowed. If I've understood that right (???), not all is lost. Will still look in to imgur or so.
>>> Anyway, I originally was posting here to ask if anybody was interested in a trade? Suddenly felt the urge to do one. :) It would be a Redwall-related one, and I'm thinking, in case I'm under pressure of time, that it could be similar to the Brome pic I did (which I can't point to further up because it's no longer showing!), in that it would be a sketch of the character, then coloured with no - or limited - background, depending on time. Unlike the Brome pic, which really was a very quick doodle, I'd spend some more time on the sketch. I say Redwall-related, so there's an option of Redwall-inspired character, too.
Anyone interested? No problemo if not. :D <<<
I use PostImage for all of my pictures - It's quick, free, and there's an option to get the pictures taken down after however many days. (Perhaps not good for art, but for other pictures, very nice indeed)
What's wierd, though, is that my pictures seem to show up (for me), and I use photobucket.
Hmm... don't know why that would be. :0
Makes my thread look very rubbish now indeed, though! :D If the normal linking still works... if I can really be bothered... I'll try and at least switch the boxes for clickable links.

I might be interested Meadow! Though, what exactly is a trade?
Basically: I draw a picture for you, and you draw a picture for me. :D Just choose the character you want, and vice versa, and then we go from there. :)
Okay, I'd love to do that! Should I surprise you with which character I'm drawing? :D
Brill! Yeah, go ahead. ;D Who would you like drawn?
Hrm... how about Cornflower? :)
Okie doke. :)
I'm almost done with mine :) Would you like it in colour?
Fast! :o Colour would be nice. :)
Hah, you were just able to catch m in a drawing mood :D
I'm done with mine :)
Yaay! :D Post it whenever you like - unless you want to wait for mine. (At the moment I don't know when I'll get it finished, though.)
I drew Matthias :D
Spoiler
Very goooooood.
Awwwww! That has got to be the cutest Matthias around!!! :D He looks fabulous -- thank you, Rosie! ;D
I've finally got some days when I'm not working coming up in the next few days, so I will create my half then!
Aww, thanks Meadow :)
Finally done the sketchy trade! As I said yesterday, do hope you like it, Rosie (and appreciate you waiting)! :)
Cornflower:

Please click to enlarge the pic! This is my first image upload to a new image hoster and I hope I have copied and pasted the correct link thingy. :0
I like it.
*Gasp* I LOVE IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Yaaay! No problemo. :)
That's awesome.
Thanks! :)
Here's a picture I've been working on for quite a while. I draw so many quick doodles for Redwall, I wanted to spend more time on one, and draw more 'baddies', and I had the image of Ungatt Trunn in Badgerlord... Thingybob's chamber for a pic I've wanted to do for ages. Forced myself to really work on perspective and ensuring I got believable items within the bedroom, going for a medieval look. The original sketch ended up being extended on to other pieces of paper, so it was a bit of a bother keeping it all together and then scanning it separately and piecing it together again neatly(ish) in Photoshop. >_< Probably more I could have done, but I get fed up after so long and I think it works okay enough as it is...
Ungatt is just rising from being sat on the bed within the stolen bedchamber. He is not a happy cat...
But yeah, took a long time for me (please no critiques at this stage; I'm aware of things! and don't want to do anything more, but would like to do more detailed pieces for Redwall soon). I know it's a quiet and difficult time right now, and I cannot put off uploading this because it's done and dusted for me, so I hope some people might notice this xD... I really do hope it's liked! :)

(Please click for 'full' image; haven't tested how shrunk it looks yet. It is a pretty big picture, I guess there will be some quality damage done on these site versions. EDIT: When you click on the link and then click it again it comes out huuuge. :0 Maybe don't click it a third time!)
Ps. In submitting this, does it automatically go towards the competition or do you have to specifically say? Might be the only thing I can really contribute to the contest...
Thanks for looking!
fantastic detail!
Do you do art trades...?
Very nice.
Wow really nicely done, MeadowRabbit! The color in these pictures looks fantastic! I don't quite know how to describe it... The floorboards all look delicately drawn; the spiders are a really nice touch for a character like Trunn; the portrait on the wall has a nice intrigue to it; the skull at the base of the bed seems to be a mix between a trophy and a doorstop... The picture here tells a bit of a story in itself and that's not an easy thing to do!
Thank you! :)
Ashleg - I do the occasional trade. Just takes longer for me to get them done these days due to time, etc. If you want to do one some time I'd like to! :D I can't dedicate so much time and detail on it as I did with that last picture, but we could still agree to make the trade a 'fuller' picture with a background and the like, if you wanted... or one more like the one I did with Rosie, or one in between. Just let me know if you want to do anything whenever. :)
Oh, trust me, I take a long time too. I owe a few others some things as well.
Shading and backgrounds in trades are usually a given for me unless otherwise specified by the receiver. So...you know. Ayy.
That looks great, Meadow! I love the work you put into the background.
Thanks! :)
@Ashleg - No problem. So, whenever, just let me know any ideas, discuss, and we will get to it when we can!
Wow!! do you draw with the good old pencil and paper, or via a app?
I'm surprised a lot of these images can even be seen 0_o, as I recently thought I'd deleted all my Photobucket pictures due to the hassle that site kept giving me. I'll see if I can re-upload the newer ones on another site.
But yes, the majority of the pictures are/were started with pencil and paper. :)
Please do post more when you can!

Noice! started you say?
Actually... most of them started and finished with pencil and paper, haha. :D
Anyone interested in a little art trade at all? (Sorry, won't just do requests.) Redwall character or Redwall-inspired character. Might be just in pencil. Will colour if have an extra spark of inspiration. Seeing as I'd like to draw something Redwall-y, but weeks on... still haven't. :D
Ill trade you if you're interested- though I fear it would not be an equivalent exchange. My doodles are far less detailed than yours.
I would love to do a trade as well! Maybe we could do a three way trade? ;D
Very nicely done Cornflower drawing, and the detail on the Ungatt Trunn one is amazing. :o

Iiiiinteresting proposition! Like one of us draws the other twos characters?
Oooh, possibly! We could also do a circle trade, where, say, you draw for me, I draw for Meadow, and Meadow draws for you.
Which one do you like better?
Oooh very interesting. I mean I wouldnt mind both or either :P (Just to clarify my idea was that we each draw the other's two characters- though Im nooot sure how that would work exactly)
I suppose we ought to let
@MeadowR have a say in this before we get carried away with plotting :)
Haha. Well when Rosie mentioned it I was thinking that we all draw each other's characters so we each get two pics. :D But whichever way you want. :)
And thank you, Sailears. ^-^
Well im all for it! Whichever way we decide to do it that is. So... characters...
Okay! I think we will be doing two drawings then :)
I would love to see you guys draw my Rosie persona! Here is the info:
Spoiler
Name: Rosie
Age: 10, 15, or 20, you choose :P
Height: 5'3 or 160 cm
Species: Hedgehog
Countenance: Reserved but still quite happy and jovial
Appearance: Short, brown and white furred, thin (for a hedgehog, hedgehogs are pretty chubby xD), with round, brown eyes and a small mouth.
Clothes: A blue Victorian style dress, and white gloves, and possibly a matching fancy hat of some sort.
anything similar to these
These are just guidelines, and you can change any of these aspects that you want :)
Too late to join the fun?...
Here's Kew-Kew!
Spoiler
Age: Reasonably young, think 15-25
Species: Wearet
Appearance: He's a big, grinning, slobbery monstrosity with a ferret mask on his face and with no fur on his tail and arms. He also thinks he's an eagle. He wears an eagle-feathered skirt complete with different coloured plumage and has gnarled and uneven claws.

Too late to join the fun?...
No, it's not too late if the others are okay with that? :D
Probably better close it after that, though, otherwise it could become too much pressure on everybody having more than three pictures to do. Something we can return to another time if others are interested! :)
I would love to have Lass join! What character would you like us to draw, Lass?
One thing, I already drew Kew-Kew, so should I just draw him again, or...
Also..

I would love to have Lass join! What character would you like us to draw, Lass?
Charlo/Charlos
Spoiler
Name: Carlo
Age: Dibbun
Gender: Boy
Species: Wildcat
Clothing: A baggy shirt that reaches down to his knees, and a small belt
Weapon: A play sword, with a pot on his head
Left or Right Handed: Right
Other Details: He has a very cheeky grin on his face
Pose (optional): Running with a hot pie, his pot Hemet half over one eye, and he's sorta turning his head to look behind himself
Yes, I just copy and pasted XP You can change the pose if you like :)
Coolio lass, welcome to the trade.
Also in regards to drawing Kew... I guess... yes? I mean, I could give you another character but then then the trade would feel... less complete?
So Meadow whenever you're ready toss in your character and we can begin :P
Yes to what? Yes I should? Or...Wow...I'm really bad at talking...Sorry..
Well, I just drew Rosie...
...Three times...
He means that yes, you should draw Kew-Kew again. (I think)
The Rosie art is great. My camera is here when you need it.
What shisteer said. You can try a different pose I guess. Or different colours or whatever. Maybe experiment with a different art style- all up to you.
Also ach you're fast. I had better get cracking.
I literally had all day :r
First time this character will have been drawn in agesss! :D
Meadow
Female Rabbit, lightish brown with lighter fur around mouth and neck.
Wears a Medieval-style tunic, green with a thin brown belt.
Wields a bow and arrow, so can also draw her a quiver on back with a strap going across her body if you like.
I am finished with Grey's piece! The other two will be coming soon. :)
Spoiler
The reason he looks so dazed is that he ate a mountain of chocolate and is now in candy fantasy world. ;D (AKA - I made him look too derpy so I needed a good excuse for that derpiness xD)
Very nice!
XD I LOVE IT! Hes so derpy its adorable. Thanks a million!
He looks great!!! Nice one, Rosie! ;D
My part of our four-way art trade!
*claps...Claps more...CLAP, CLAPPITY CLAP, CLAPPERS*
Very nice!
As said in Discord, I think it's great, Grey! Marvellous job on all three! Thank you! ;D
As to whereabouts of mine... I completed two and am just waiting to finish the other. Also need to work out whether it's best to take a photo or scan the two. Hmm.
Glad you guys like it ^.^ They were pretty fun to draw. Definetly looking forwards to the rest of the pieces!
Picture for Lass finally up! I took a photo with my phone and it's a teeny bit blurry >_<; however if I scanned it the colours wouldn't read right. So I can't win using markers, as fun as they are. :d I might see if I can get a better image of it in a few days.
Anyway, here's Lass's wildcat character. He has a saucepan on his head rather than a pot, but never mind. He was fun to draw. Hope you like. :)

I have also finished the others and they will appear soon...
That it so gorgeous!
That is cute.
That is fantastic!
I love it, Meadow! You are wonderful at drawing anthropomorphic characters :D

That is incredibly adorable, Meadow! Well done!
Glad you like, Lass!
Thank you very much, all! ^-^
That image is just adorable. I love your art style, Meadow.
Thanks! :)
Here's Rosie's. I vaguely had in my mind that 'girl on the swing' painting when I drew this. That long dress was just calling for it! :D Some of the markers didn't quite take to the paper... Was fun to do, though, and hope you like. :)

Like?
Like???
I love it, Meadow!! The motion, the colors, the anatomy, the expression, the lighting, the narrative, all of it!! I look like a character from a Disney movie and I love that. :D Thank you so so so much for drawing it!
I so badly want to put it as my profile picture, but I feel bad about getting rid of Jarky's drawing xD Too bad I can't just make a collage of all the amazing drawings people have done for me ;D (Wait... I might actually try that...)
So glad you love it! ;D
Jarky's pic is great as an avatar! :D Maybe you could have a little signature collage of the other pics drawn for you? I was thinking of doing that (if it stays small and doesn't slow up loading times on the forum!).
*Looks at Rosie's pic* Its possible, apparently. ^-^
These are amazing pics, guys!

Ooooh, that is a wonderful idea, Meadow! I kind of like what I have right now, but if I get another drawing (which will likely happen with the big art trade going on) then I will definitely try and do that! I would then also add Grey and Faiy's drawings, since they deserve a spotlight too :D
Wonderful, Meadow! You are a very skilled artist.
Here is your character,
@lass of something much! I changed a lot of things, but I hope you enjoy it :)
IT'S SO CUTE!!!
Awww! That's adorable!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! *runs around screaming* IT'S SO CUTE I CAAAAAAANNNN'TTTT!!!!!!!!!!!
Bless his little pawsies!!! Adorable, Rosie! ;D
And here's my pic for Grey. :) It's digital unlike the other two because I wasn't happy with part of the drawing which meant I had to scan and edit it on the computer. Might not be quite the right interpretation of the character, but hope you like it anyway. :D (Plus I snuck my shrew character in the background! :p)
nvm.
That's so cool, Meadow!
Wonderful, Meadow! I love his expression.
Those are all great pics.
Nice, Meadow!
Very nice!

@The Grey Coincidence needs to see this
^ Yes, he does. Kept meaning to tag him and then forgetting. :P
............ ???
Anyway:
Thanks, all!
No needs to tag, I've already seen it
Ah, sorry :(
I didn't know
Here is yours, Meadow! I hope you enjoy the style I gave yours and Lass's characters. :)
It's beautiful, Rosie! Well done!
Ooooh, this is sooo adorable!! Look at her ickle faceywacey!!! Much appreciation for the tree branch, too! ;D Thank you very much, Rosie!
