Thomas Barkshield

I do not help vermin! Die, filthy ferret! With that he ran up to the speaker and took a huge swing at her torso.

Thom's sword cut through her tunic and her skin. Fortunately, it was a shallow cut, but it was still quite large. Fine. Now she had to fight two enemies. She skipped backwards a few steps, hoping Thom would follow. She had a little surprise for him when he got close...
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!

Norham Waterpaw

Engis picked up his axe and ran at Thom from behind. "Die beast!" He swung down hard at Thom's back.
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

Seizing the opportunity, Kosta lunged forward, thrusting with her cutlass. Ha- the old fool might actually help her slay this mouse- and then she would kill him, of course.

Tom ducked and avoided both blades, while looking for something to use as a shield. He found none, but used the pommel of his sword to beat the ferrets head.

Kosta never saw Thom's swing coming- she took the pommel of his sword right in the base of her skull and went down. She smashed into the deck (again), and struggled to stand, staggering away and leaving her foes behind to fight each other. She would take this time to recover, then swoop in when they least expected it.

There was one enemy down, time to deal with the other, he thought.

Norham Waterpaw

Engis was unprepared for Kosta to fall, he tripped forward off balance. He quickly was up on his feet, axe in hand. He advanced on the mouse.

Tom swung out with his sword 3 times, the first 2 missing...

Norham Waterpaw

Engis felt the sword rip through his lower chest. The pain was undescribable, he threw his axe at Thom as a last ditch attempt of survival.

The axe took him straight in the right shoulder. Unable to use his sword, he punched like a madbeast with his left arm.

Kosta thought she was going to black out, but managed to fight it off and had recovered decently, though her head was aching fiercely. She now saw the captain without his weapon. Kosta sneered- he was an old fool, and injured to boot. She would make short work of him, after she dealt with the mouse. Sneaking was not her strength, but the ferret tried her best to be stealthy as she headed toward Thom's unprotected back. He would pay for striking her!

Engis was on his back, and saw Kosta behind him. He kicked Thom in the mid-riff, sending him flying into Kosta, he picked up his fallen axe and was going to finish them both, right here.

After being kicked into the ferret, he threw his head backwards to knock them out, and then grabbed a block (pulley) and flung it at the captain.

Kosta was knocked backward onto the deck (yet again) and Thom's head hit hers at the same time the deck did. She was out cold.
