An Oni is indeed a demon, or, more accurately a Yokai spirit but "Onii-chan" has nothing to do with that. The word "Niisan" means big brother, "Onii-chan" is a more cutesy variation

Hrm, how does one describe a person in a sentence, I could just copy what I've said for nearly everyone else but my last post on this topic was two posts back and that would be bland and unoriginal
