In three days the Northern Hemisphere will experience the Summer solstice, and with the solstice comes the official start of Summer. What are your plans for the upcoming season?
I plan to enjoy my air-conditioned job at my college's computer center, chilling with some good books, and spending time here with all y'all wonderful people. ;)
I'm going to enjoy summer when it gets here!! ;D

Nah, I want to be outside as much as I can!! I <3 outside!
Summer is already here in the southern US and will only get more miserable as time progresses. I think I might migrate to Alaska until the heat dies down a bit. :c
Where I live in the US it gets really hot (to us at least) during the summer. Then in the winter it's freezing. I will do my normal stuff, read, chores, video games, and go outside.

Mind if I come too?
Summer is extremely humid here in Japan, so I'll be trying to move as little as possible! Last summer was the hottest on record, so I'm just hoping it won't be like that again. Ugh. As for my plans, when there are no classes to teach I'll be reading, er, I mean, lesson planning! I also want to travel. Where to go, where to go...
I don't think summer will ever get here in my state :'(, its still rainy and kind of cold, but it is improving , just really slowly. i plan to play out side and play video games and hangout with friends and just generally enjoy the time i have before i have to start school again.
Summer? Over here in Australia it's winter! It's been raining heaps (yes, it does rain in Australia!) and quite cold. That being said, it's Aussie Rules footy season, the best sport in the world, so I don't mind too much! ;D

Yay, another Australian! I don't live there at the moment, but I still call Australia home. Japan is my second home.
Aussie Rules, the best sport in the world? Are you from Victoria, by any chance? ;) Which team are you barracking for?

N'up, I'm from WA, but sometimes my footy obsession makes me wonder if I'm a victorian trappd in a WA body. I go for the mighty West Coast Eagles! Going quite well this year, a lot better than last year...
I'm going to be pretty busy this summer...running, summer reading, playing lacrosse, music, summer school, camp and vacation are lined up so far.
wow, all you guys in the US are too hot, want to change weather with Canada? I could use some nice weather :-\
Here in the northeastern US, we are currently experiencing mild to hot weather, with the occasional chance for a cold front.

No. We stay in the 90's around here. In the winter of 2009 on Christmas we had a blizzard. This past winter we had way to much snow. Ugh!

By all means - or we can just trade weather with the Canadians or Aussies.
Lucky, lucky Canadians and Aussies.
I am in the Southeast US.
Summer is going to be killer here.
The worst part?
I am in Marching Band. That means Band Camp. From 8 AM to 9 PM every weekday for the first two weeks of August. In the hot August sun. In the South.
Gonna be awesome.
You poor thing! D:
Yeah, indeed.
I'll be at church camp all next week, with my youth group. That should be pretty awesome, it's always crazy and fun there.

I keep tabs on the national temps all around, and I've seen the heat you guys have been experiencing. You have my sympathy.
8) Summer is too hot. I like fall!
In my state we just had an out break of tornadoes. As for summer plans, I'm going to camp as well as a three week long trip starting tomorrow. To any one who wants the US's weather don't. You will be sick of it in ten minutes.
Is glad that he lives on Earth instead.

You must live in the same state area I do. Everything is happening to the US We had tornadoes destroy towns. Rivers flood and cause chaos. Then there was some food poisoning in the Maine area (I think it was Maine). Then a forest fire that is still going.
Ouch. In my part of Australia we don't get much natural disasters exept for bushfires. We get a lot of them.
Oh, man. The devastation in TN, MO, and all the other states affected by those tornadoes just staggered me when I first saw the coverage. You guys stay safe up there! :-\
Yeah, stay safe!
