Redwall Abbey

OOC: Alright, a review: It's morning, the horde has sighted Redwall, but it isn't there yet. Any questions? PM them to me.

BIC: Abbess Lavender woke up and stretched, her mind a little troubled. A squirrel, and a badger, had arrived in the night. And they brught news of a horde marching toward Redwall. And Sie, another badger, Tango, a hare, and Sister Ambrosine, and the Abbey Warrior, Enthal were outside the Abbey Walls. Sie wasa off doing how knows what. and the pothers were searching for them. It didn't bode well.

OOC: I just re-read my character sheet and realized that Aoi actually lives at the Abbey... Woops.

Aoi sat on her bed in the Redwall dormitories, reading a scroll on medicinal herbs. If push came to shove and there was a battle, the infirmary would need help.

Lana sat on the dormitory stairs, slightly upset. He liked Dibbuns, they were so innocent and free, and should not know the horrors of war or battle. Growling as quietly as he could, he silently cursed the vermin for choosing the Abbey path to follow. If any vermin horde caught sight of the grandeur of Redwall he would bet and apple to an acorn that they would try to conquer it.

Sie, and Harin were sitting in the sitting-room of Harin's little house. Harin's Grandma was there too, but she had fallen asleep ages ago. Harin's mother was in the kitchen, making breakfast.
Sie, and Harin had struck up a good friendship, Sie had never had a friend before, and was finding the whole thing quite fun. Harin was a good listener, but an even better talker. Sie would have been happy to sit, and let her go on, and on, forever. 

Finally becoming bored with the scroll, Aoi crept out of the dormitory, wondering if the kitchen staff had any candied chestnuts on hand. Seeing Lana, she wondered if it would be better to wait until all the other abbey dwellers woke up to go to Cavern Hole.

Lavender sighed and swung her legs out of the bed, and reached for her habit. She put her habit on and did a few grooming necissecities. She then went downstairs and saw Lana sitting on the stairs, and Aoi behind him. " Good morning you two! Shall we go see if the cooks need a paw?"

 Edit: Never mind.

OOC: It's morning, Faiy.

Lana was musing and brooding when he heard the Abbess call

Looking up in surprise he looked around, Two of us? Then he spied Aoi standing behind him. "Oh, good morning. I would be happy to help the cook, but i'll eat later... Aoi bowed slightly to the Mother Abbess. "Morning, Abbess Lavender." She then began to stroll down the stairs, whacking Lana on his forearm as she went. "Don't mope around, Stripes. 'S not good for you or anyone around you."

OOC: I made a mistake this go-round. I forgot to add Fourfang's response.

BIC: Fourfang Stoneshade or Stoneshade as was mostly called, traveled through Mossflower woods and was constantly tripping over protruding tree-roots and stumbling into thorn bushes throughout the day. She was lost. It was the only explanation for it, Lost. She grumbled and cursed slightly as she pulled a large thorn from her footpaw. "This is the final straw! The last time I take directions from a rat! Oh, just travel through those wood-lands for a day or two and you'll reach the sea. There's plenty of fish for feasting at the sea." She said the last bit mockingly. "If i ever come across that rat again, I'll kill 'im!" She shouted out the last bit of her grumbling. Throwing the thorn aside in a temper she stalked off. Determined that she'll find the sea by herself, she does not need any rat or any beast to tell her where the sea is! She'll go by her own route. Slinging her bow over her shoulder she continued off with her travels still grumbling.

Crabbygrog jogged along at the back of the vermin horde, staying out of the way. She knew if she got in front of or stepped on any beast, she would probably be kicked, bitten, and otherwise abused. It didn't bother her much, but it tended to slow things down quite a bit.

Avoir, and his group stood on a hill by the path. They were well hidden, and they were watching the approaching horde.
"Fretka, you get her with an arrow. Aim for the heart. Nazwa will be waiting with a spear further along the hill in case anything goes wrong, he'll take the shot. Me, and Ruse will be waiting somewhere back in the woods." Avoir said, while Nazwa sighed for Ruse's benefit.

Lana looked curiously as Aoi, "How do you know we are going to beat them?"

Fourfang was traveling through Mossflower when she heard talking nearby. She stopped, listening as she crouched low to the ground. Unslinging her bow, she nocked an arrow to her bowstring and snuck closer to the voice. Before long she spotted a small band of vermin

"We will win because we believe the dibbuns up there in their beds have a future." Turning, she continued to the kitchens, rather surprised with herself for saying something cool.

OOC: Okay! I have good news! Jovani Fur-Ripper is re-joining. Jovani has made some huge changes is Jovani's life so Jovani has more time to post. A lot more. And Jovani will have Jovani's character sheet posted in the part two thread in the OOC. And Jovani will also have a post up this afternoon. I do apologize if this is a bit sudden. But Jovani had some life problems.

BIC: Lana looked up at Aoi's words. "Your right!" Lana exclaimed as he stood up and started his way quickly to the kitchens. "First one there gets to help the Friar with the best foods!" Picking up his pace Lana thundered his way down to the kitchens with surprising speed for one of his size and bulk.

Fourfang Stoneshade stayed in the woods as she watched the small band of vermin, all the while keeping her arrow centered on the one who was obviously their Boss. The "Boss" Does not look like much to me. Fourfang thought as she kept silent and waited for them to make their move.

Laughing, Aoi followed, traveling sideways by using the walls. "I bet you'd burn a salad!"

*OOC: Under the assumption that my character is still outside the East Gate where I have left him, I shall proceed with my post and keep it proper and prim! *



It was a funny thing, rain. When one looks at their surroundings it falls down. But look up and watch it fall and it's an endless swirl of dizzying contemplations. Time escapes all meaning, all existance. Thought becomes slow and steady; a trickle of sand. Noises in the area become ambience; a gentle lull of unimportant sounds in the back of the mind.
He thought he heard voices, but couldn't find the will to turn and see, his mind fixated on the falling rain and wanting nothing to do with the world around him. It was hypnotic. Disturbingly hypnotic. He should look away.
But he couldn't. It was comfortable.
He had a job to do. He had to find the Abbey.
Abbey? He was at the Abbey, wasn't he? What was he going to do with a bunch of wall, some dubbuns and babes, and a handful of old, feeble, creatures?
Nothing. They were useless in the plan.
The plan didn't exist. It was a foolish thought. Nothing more.
Foolish thought...Plan...It did make little sense.
Exactly. Forget the plan.
Forget....the plan...No! The plan was everything. He had to stick to the plan.

A loud noise close by snapped his focus back to the world around him and he blinked, his head swiveling around to find the source of the noise. Finding nothing the badger snorted, expelling the rain that had found its way into his snout, and stretched his stiff muscles. He must have fallen asleep standing whilst waiting for someone to come to the gate.
Glancing around once more, the red-furred badger raised his paw again and pounded once. Twice. Three times on the large gate.
And waited.

His thoughts turned to the wall as he waited, inspecting the large, heavy red stones it was built of. The sheer size was impressive; rising up seeming forever before suddenly seeming to end just within sight. The stones were strong, heavy, and closely compacted so as to withstand constant forceful attacks from battering-rams, and probably catapulted stones as well. The gates were solid and heavy, probably quite thick too. Possibly oak or ironwood, and designed to keep creatures out. 'Or in.' He added in his head. This place was a fortress, and a great strategic hold. Until you ran out of food and water, that was. Unless....The inhabitants inside grew vegetables and fruit of their own, and a river ran under the wall at some point. In that case, the wall had one weakness. If not, then the only way the creatures inside the wall could get water was by bucketing it from nearby water sources, or from a well to an under-ground river that ran somewhere under the fortress inside the walls.
All in all, it was a fortress he himself would be loathe to try and take over. It would take a great many beasts in order to take it by force, and he would probably lose all of them in an attempt. Unless they scaled the walls, or dug tunnels underneath the walls providing the large stones didn't extend far beneath the soil on which it stood. Defenders inside the wall could very easily sit and wait safely inside the walls, picking off their opponents here and there with ranged weapons and throwing stones. Their only problem would be, if the enemy didn't send any arrows or weapons back, they would run out of things to throw.
Of course, if this was the fames RedWall Abbey, then any enemy force would be waiting a long time before any attack came. The only inhabitants rumoured to be inside were babelings, and old, dying creatures. No able warriors or experienced or even trained fighter. Unless that badger and streaking creature that he had seen making it's way here were inside, in which case, the Abbey would be doomed anyway. Two warriors against a fully armed and trained force of creatures were hardly going to keep a fortress safe. Too many places to defend and too little paws to do the work. He would hate to be inside when something like that started. The best thing for the inhabitants to do, was to surrender and hope they aren't killed. Or hope the attacker's were idiots and didn't know anything about strategy, and just sit out the time it took for the enemy to run out of supplies.


Was there even anyone in this place? Or had he just happened to stumble upon a deserted fortress in the middle of nowhere? He wondered as he tapped a footpaw impatiently on the damp ground and growled lowly. He hated the rain. He hated being wet. But most of all, he hated waiting and being wet in the rain.

OOC: Jpvani! It's great to have you back. It's morning in the RP, and it's not raining. Oh, and when you've done an OOC: post, and you're goping to post as your character, put BIC: in, 'Kay?  Cap'n Snow, was Fourfang approved? I can't remember. Can we please go a little slower? I can't get on as much as you people can.

BIC: Lavender smiled to herself at the badger and squirrel's banter, and started walking swiftly down the hall. She nodded sagely to Aoi's comment, calling after them, "Aye, I'm sure you both will be burning salads!"

OOC: Yes, to my knowledge Fourfang was approved. Otherwise I would not have posted in the rp itself. But if you are unsure, I can stop posting with Fourfang until you are okay with it.

Aoi laughed. "Yup! I burn salads on a regular basis."

*OOC:  Jovani feel stupid now....Jovani assumed it was raining, as there be rainfall when Jovani last about. As a solution! Jovani begs some random beast atop the wall (Someone to blame) to relieve their bodily fluids down upon my poor beast in contribution!

" Shadowclaw woke to the noise of the Twin Bells. His jaw dropped at hearing the Bells go off 9 times. Oh no this cant be I over slept. But then Shadowclaw head starting to hurt I knew I should have drunk all that October Ale. He then put his clothes on and walks down stairs to see what was going on."

OOC: Psst! @Iamthatis. There are no clocks in redwall. They rely on the bell tolls for the time.

BIC: Lavender laughed, and started running down the stairs, calling, "Well, so do I!"

Fretka, who was standing opposite Avoir, had noticed somebeast in the bushes nearby. Very casually, he began to check his bow, try one or two arrows on it, then gave Avoir a look.
Avoir at first was confused, then realised what he was doing, and quickly flung himself on the ground, and Fretka fired an arrow where he thought the beast was.

OOC: Okay, I now volunteer as the "Rain-maker" for Jovani! ;D This is going to be such a blast! As for Jovani's character. He is still outside the walls. Also Cornflower, do you have an update on Fourfang?

BIC: Lana, not familiar with the Abbey's layout. Figured that the kitchens, being the most popular among the beasts of Redwall. Would naturally be outside. (This is due to the face that he lived all his life in the wild so his version of a kitchen is a large bonfire with cooks bustled around it.) He then ran around the grounds looking for the kitchens, which he knows must be around here somewhere! As he approached the east wall, the sudden urge to relieve himself took over. There were to many beasts around here to do it, then he spied the wall stairs. Surely no one would notice if I'm on the walls. Climbing the wall stairs he reached the top with his bladder fit to burst. Rushing to the battlements he looked around, not seeing anyone that would notice. He promptly. . . Relieved himself.

" Shadowclaw walks in Cavern Hole to see smelled so good. He says good morning everyone."

OOC: *Snorts* Snow, Fourfang is accepted. And everyone? In this case it was rather necessary, but I'd rather not anyone, ah, post about their character relieving themselves, OK? And Iamthatis, no yelling! And they only use Great Hall in the books for special occasions, like Feasts.

Aoi wondered where Lana went, but was much more interested in the good smells coming from the kitchens. She strolled in, sampling various food items while ducking attacks by indignant cooks.

" Shadowclaw then walks in the back of the kitchens to say goodmorning to all the cook. While doing this he runs into Aoi. Good morning how are you Aoi?"

OOC:Evereyone! Faiyloe has decided to leave! It's not anything anyone has said or done, she just had trouble catching up and it wadsn't any fun any more. I shall take over Enthal.

OOC: Ok thanks for letting us know.

OOC: Good, then I am in the safe zone! *Mopes sweat from brow* Thought I might have gotten in a bit a trouble for that. . . Pickles. I do hope that she has fun in the future.

BIC: Fourfang was slowly creeping back when a shaft flew by her head, barely grazing her cheek. Following her guts instincts she fired at the noise made from one of the vermin flinging themselves to the ground. Her black shafted arrow took flight, straight for whatever made the sound. Quickly she ducked low and scurried off making almost no noise as she took flight for a short distance. Before ducking behind an old Oak, and listened for the vermin's movements as she pulled a short sword from her belt and slung her bow over her shoulder and pressed herself firmly against the tree and held still.

Nazwa had seen the arrow heading for Fretka, he tackled him to the ground, just in time. But the arrow did leave a nasty gash in Fretka's shoulder.

OOC: Um, I was wondering. Could the Redwallers capture one of my vermin band here. I just think it would be fun.  ;D

Ruffling the headfur of a shrew cook, Aoi dropped some randomly chosen spices into the porridge he was making. "That might help."

" Shadowclaw then ask what is that smell. A creature could get used to smelling that."

Aoi realized that Shadowclaw was talking to her. "Oh. Morning. That's garlic and coriander. Nice, isn't it?" As the squirrel was speaking, she chopped up a few carrots and dumped them in the pot, as well as fennel and a chopped tomato.

Ambrosine and Enthal continued tracking Sie. Ambrosine was exhausted and her back hurt from sleeping on the hard ground all night - it was a lot different from her comfortable bed back at the Abbey. Added to that was the rather frightening experience of waking up in the middle of the night with her companion being attacked... Ambrosine was still a bit jumpy and nervous from that. Luckily the vermin had run off before she'd even gotten there.

But anyway, she was really wishing she'd never left Redwall. Why on earth had she decided to go on some adventure? And she still felt bad about being rude to the Abbess. Once I get back to Redwall, I'm never going to leave, she decided.

Hearing a branch rustle, she gripped her stick tighter, whirling in the direction of the noise. The mousemaid heaved a sigh of relief when nothing happened. She quickly tried to look nonchalant, in case Enthal had noticed her nervousness. They continued tracking their quarry. Well, Enthal tracked, and Ambrosine just followed nervously.

Enthal bent, and looked at the soil. "I think....I might have lost his tracks. Now, don't panic! We're aren't lost." She announced, hoping the rather soft Abbey Sister wouldn't panic.

Shadowclaw then said "I'll say lucky for us that Redwall has one of the best cooks in the land. Then Shadowclaw walked over to the tapestry of Martin the Warrior and takes a bow to the friendly face."

Aoi had no idea what cook Shadowclaw was referring to. The Friar, maybe?

OOC: If you like, I can have Foufang capture one of your vermin and the others can take chase and Fourfang can see the Abbey and get shelter there with her prisoner. And I cannot post much with Lana until Jovani posts.

BIC: Fourfang's breathing was rapid due to her narrow escape from death. She tried to calm her breathing but it was a very close call. She had close calls before, but this one was closer. She there up against the tree, waiting to see if the vermin would give pursuit.

OOC: That would work, capture any of them, except Avoir.

OOC: Okay! ;D (This is going to be loads of fun!)

Jovani also wishes to apologize for asking beasts to relieve their bodily fluids over the ramparts (a public crime punishable by(but not limited to) fines, jail-time, and serious trouble with your peers, parents, and law-enforcers), and promises not to ask such heinous crimes that could land one in trouble with officers.

The gates loomed above him, towering over him like a great wooden wall of silent mockery. 'You can't get in! You can't get in!' It seemed to laugh. 'Stuck out in the rain like a wet, miserable, tiny little badger babe-ling!'
He growled loudly at the gate, then decided it was in his best interest to ignore the thing. He stepped back a few paces from the wall and began inspecting the wall more closely. Was it possible for him to climb the wall? Nobody seemed at home, or they simply hadn't heard him knocking. He seriously doubted the latter, as he was quite strong and had thundered on the gate; given its size, it would take a strong beast to let those on the other side know they were there.
The gaps between rocks weren't very big, he noted, and the rock was quite smooth. He couldn't imagine any beast climbing over the wall with just their paws, even if they were a good climber. He himself didn't think much of climbing. Although he was smaller than most adult badgers (But he didn't like having that pointed out), his paws were too big to grab and keep hold of those elusive and annoyingly small paw-grips on trees and the like. He'd done a bit of climbing during his time in service to Salamandastron, but those had been ladders, stairs and steep hills. He'd left the tree-climbing and wall-scaling to those who could do it quickly and efficiently. There was no use honing a skill he'd never use, and he had never had to climb, so he'd left it at that.
Climbing was not an option. 'Perhaps digging?' He wondered.  The ground was quite soft, he decided, it having rained a day earlier. He inspected his large paws, wriggling the joints and flexing his large, dangerous claws. He wasn't a mole, but he could dig. After all, Badgers lived in holes in the ground too. Moles were just better at keeping really big tunnels from caving in, and unlike Badgers, Moles could dig faster and more efficient. He had no idea how far forward he would have to dig to pass the gate. The gate was quite large, so it would only make sense it would be quite thick. Digging would take a while, but he'd be able to get in. 'Probably faster than these gates would open.' He added in his head, wondering once more if he had just happened across a deserted fortress in the smack-dab middle of nowhere.
But that didn't make much sense. What beast would build a fortress in the middle of nowhere and leave it empty? The answer: none. It was unheard of. Nothing this well-built and intact should be empty. Even vermin -who most usually had the brains of an under-sized millet-seed- would leave such a fortress uninhabited. Seeing as how vermin loved to hole up someplace(preferably somewhere where no other beast could get them) and send out raiding parties to entertain themselves, then retreat to their safe hidey-hole when there was trouble.
He looked again at the walls, a deep thoughtful frown on his furry face. Was this a vermin hide-out? Almost immediately he dismissed the idea. If it were a vermin hide-out, then he would not be having his current train of thoughts. One measly lone badger against a score of the worlds' stinkiest and most ignoble beasts? Not exactly a winning scenario for said one measly lone badger. The vermin would leap at such an opportunity to slay or capture the lone beast wandering straight up to their front door. Not to mention the air would be putrid and disgusting. No, it was not a vermin hide-out.

He eyed the gates, his mood far from good. It wasn't a vermin-hole, so that left three other possibilities. One: This really was an abandoned, empty fortress in the middle of nowhere(and those two beasts, the badger and the flying-monkey-thing, had run past and taken up refuge in somewhere beyond the empty fortress.), and he would have to find another way in other than the closed gate.
Two: It was an abandoned, empty fortress in the middle of nowhere and the two beasts(the badger and flying-monkey-thing) had barricaded themselves inside and thought him a vermin horde trying to gain access.
Or three: The fortress was inhabited and badgers were simply forbidden to enter(In which case, the badger and flying-monkey-thing he had seen before would have had to have gone past. The badger would have, at any rate.). This notion was silly, however, and he dismissed it at once.

In either case, he would have to find another way in other than this particular gate. He'd wait for a little bit longer and see if someone showed, then begin the long walk around the perimeter for another way in. A fortress like this was bound to have more than one gate, or even a drainage hole that he could probably squeeze through. That prospect did not improve his already sour mood and he hoped it would not come to that. Climbing through wet drain holes was not his idea of fun, but if it came down to it, he wouldn't hesitate to use it.
An idea suddenly struck him. If the building was inhabited, there would be the smell of other creatures around the walls. If the air stank beyond belief, they would be vermin. Or at least, they had been there at one point. If there were there now, he probably wouldn't be. If it didn't, then he would have come across some relatively safe place.
Cautiously, he sniffed the air. Something was cooking. It made his stomach rumble and remind him he had yet to eat since the previous evening. He definitely didn't smell any vermin, so it was determined there were good beasts inside. This fact didn't bring much improvement to his mood, but he figured there weren't very many beasts inside.

Raising his large paw once more, he knocked again.

Ambrosine almost panicked, but didn't. "Um, okay. I guess we'll find his tracks again in a few minutes, right?" She clenched her stick tighter. For some reason, it made her feel safer. 'Cause she was really nervous right now. Not only had they lost Sie's tracks, she kept thinking she heard somebeast stalking them. Of course, it was just her imagination - she was really jumpy.

OOC: Cornflower, are you just going to take over the horde? 'Cause I don't think Gonflet even signed up for Part Two.

OOC: I'll PM Gnoflet firast, and if he doesn't respond in three days, then I'm taking it over, and also completely revising a bit of it. Just small changes, mind you.

BIC: Lavender heard some faint knocking, amd ignored it, thinking she had heard things. Then she heard it again and ran outside, and ran as fast as she could twoard the gate. "Be ye Friend or Foe?" She called, trying to catch her breath quietly.

Enthal nodded. "Aye. Now, just stay right there, and don't move your footpaws." She said, then started scouting around, then, "Aha! He went this way!" OOC: I was wondering, if someone playing a badger, could maybe, be some distant relation to Harin. Cos, I'm planning on Sie, and Harin coming to Redwall, to help fight, and it would be really cool if one of the badgers were a relation to her.

Hmm...That would be nice. I think there's onlty Lana, though. Maybe I'll play a BadgerMum. Maybe.

" Shadowclaw then walked outside. He looked up at the sky and said I think its going to be a nice day."

Aoi snatched a fresh baked loaf of bread and munched it as she ducked out of the kitchen and walked out onto the front lawns.

" Shadowclaw heard Aoi coming towards him  Hello Aoi want do you have in your hand smells good."

Aoi looked at Shadowclaw. "Bread. To be specific, my bread. There's plenty more in the kitchens." The squirrel knew that if any of the sisters or brothers in the Abbey heard her, she would be reprimanded for not sharing with her fellow abbeydweller, but she didn't really care.

" Well eat up young one that way you can grow up big and strong."

"Yeah. Thanks. I will." Feeling only a little bit disrespectful, Aoi wondered if Shadowclaw was blind. Being 16, she was in the golden years of her life. There almost wasn't any growing left for her to do.

OOC: Wasn't planning on being blind but thats not a bad idea thanks  ;)

"Shadowclaw then said something seems to be on your mind young one."

"Haven't you heard? Vermin horde, headed this way?" This was going to get old pretty soon.

"A Vermin horde coming this way since when did this happen my ears are good at hearing at least I thought they were. Oh dear I must be getting old.

Ambrosine stayed rooted to the spot as Enthal went ahead. But then her nervousness overtook her, and by the time the squirrelmaid called her, she'd already taken several steps in Enthal's direction. She kept going, and in a moment, she saw her companion looking carefully at some tracks. Ambrosine came and looked at them as well, trying to appear knowledgeable.

" So a Vermin horde found its way to Redwall once again pitty that they never learn. Why can't we all live in peace.Shadowclaw then lays down on his back so he can feel the warm sun."

Ambrosine followed Enthal, wondering who the other badger was and where on earth Sie and him/her could be heading.

OOC: Tango is with Enthal, and Ambrosine, cos their the last people she was with.

BIC: Tango limped on behind Ambrosine, she examined the tracks closely, then called out. "The other badgers a blooming female, wot. She must have been a strong bounder to pull Sie into the cave."

OOC: Whoops! D'you want me to go edit some of my other posts as Enthal, Rach? I'd rather forgotten about Tango.

BIC: Enthal looked at Tango, a little surprised at the hare's knowledge of tracking. "That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. How's your footpaw, by the way?"

" Shadowclaw then woke from his nap from under the sun. Now I feel much better. Shadowclaw then walked into the Great Hall and stopped in front of Martin the Warrior's tapestry. Please Martin I ask the your spirit protect this abbey from the Vermins we are thankful for your spirit."

OOC: No it's fine, Tango could have just been in the back round.

BIC: Tango smiled, gallantly, "Oh, the old stomper, it's jolly well fine. Being a trained medic I've been able to fix it up quite well, wot." 

Enthal grunted, but grudgingly admitted, "Well, I suppose you would know, Tango. It's your footpaw, after all. But do say something if it starts to hurt too badly." She walked on, stopping every now and then to peer at the tracks closer.

Sie, and Harin were now out in the little vegetable garden just outside her house. Sie was felt the happiest he had ever been in his life, just being here, watering the plants with Harin.

OOC: Something really important is gonna have to happen to make him want to leave.  ::) 

OOC: Would banging him on the head with rock count as important? ;D

OOC:I'm kind of starting over with Cantin so she hasn't met Reman yet.

BIC: Cantin woke up from a deep sleep in the Infirmary. She tried to sit up but her foot paw was suddenly jolted with pain as she moved it. Cantin looked around the Infirmary from her bed, but didn't see anyone. She couldn't remember exactly what had happened, she only remembered that she was alone and a vermin hoard had rampaged her old house and a rat had slashed her foot paw. Her hut had burned to the ground with her parents in it. Cantin had managed to escape and had run to the abbey front gate and had fallen into unconsciousness. Cantin still couldn't believe that her parents were actually gone.

OOC: Um, Harin having a relative would be good. But maybe Tango could get killed by a vermin. Sie is secretly very fond of Tango, and if something happened to her then he'd want revenge.

OOC: That would work! So, shall we set "Operation Tango dies" into action? I'd rather not her die, of course, but you suggested it.

OOC: Okay, I have caught up with the posts that have been put up since my disappearance, I do apologize about that. I have been having some problems with school so I had to stop checking in daily. To answer your question, if you like Mizz Corny and Mizz Rachel (If you don't mind being called such I can come up with a different nickname if that's alright with you.) I can have Fourfang kill Tango. Or she can be killed by Avoirs gang while Fourfang and the others make their escape with Fourfangs captive. I'm sure that we can make it so that Fourfang captures one of the vermin and runs into Tango and party while making her getaway. And she nearly gets caught by Avoir while running off with her captive. And Tango tells them to get away while she holds back the other vermin. Just a couple ideas.

BIC: Lana finished up on the wall top and hurried down to find Aoi so she could show him where the kitchens were. Hurrying to the Abbey's front door he saw Aoi walking off her bushy tail twitching behind her, Eating something that smelled absolutely delicious! "Hey! What are you eating there? Smells absolutely scrumptious!"

Fourfang slowed her breathing as she realized that the small gang of vermin was not chasing after her. Breathing a sigh of relief she sheathed her short sword and crept slowly out from behind the Oak tree. And started creeping slowly back to the area where she last saw the vermin.

" While walking Shadowclaw heard Lana do to the sensitive ears he has do to the blindness. Hello Lana how are you doing on this fine day."

Lana turned to face Shadowclaw. "I am very well today, how are you Shadow?" He asked.

" I'm doing well. Say could you tell me if there is a cloud in the sky."

OOC: Question mark!! And, there's two " Do"'s. The other one's "Due"

Lavender was energetically knbeading some scone dough, with her entire front floured.

Lana looked up at the sky, his eyes roaming the sky in search for some clouds. "Yes, there are a few, they remind me of fluffy white loaves of bread." Lana then turned his gaze earthward again, blinking as the difference in lighting became apparent. "Do you know where the kitchens are? I'm starving, but I have not found them anywhere outside."

"Sure I will lead you to the kitchen. Is it alright if I hold on to your shoulder because I'm blind and I don't wanna loss you on the way to the kitchen."

Lana Looked at Shadowclaw in amusement and offered him his large paw saying "It's not my shoulder but it will have to do, my shoulder might be a bit high for you."

" Shadowclaw smiled at Lana. Yes that will just find I dodn't know you were so tall. Starts to walk with Lana and while walking Shadowclaw feels his way around. I know every stone in this abbey he said to Lana. Not much more to walk I can smell the food ask we speak. Walks into the kitchen here we are just like you ask."

"Oh, hello Shadowclaw, Lana! Lana, welcome to the Redwall Abbey Kitchens!" The Abbess said, beaming under a rather floury face.

"Thank you Shadowclaw." Lana said as he marveled at the extraordinary smells coming from the kitchens, his eyes roamed from dish to dish as the tantalizing aromas tickled his nose, making his mouth water.

BIC: Lana took the dough offered to him and popped it into his mouth, a huge grin spread across his face as he tasted the dough. "Marvelous! Wonderful! I'll gladly help you out lady!" Lana took a place next too the Abbess and waited for her instructions as his mouth watered from his sample of the dough.

"Shadowclaw then smiles at his new found friend. I'm glad you enjoy them they were always one of my favorites."

Ruse was panicking, she'd been knocked over, and she didn't know what was going on. 

"Shape it so that it's about this size and shape, then put it onto the pan about tyhis far away from the others. See?" Abbess Lavender instructed, showing him a little ball, which she squished, so that it was flat, and patted. "They'll get bigger, but you still have to be careful about getting them too small."

" Shadowclaw then said to the Abbess. Sorry I can't be much of a help to you Abbess. Wish there was something for me to help you with."

"Well, Shadowclaw, you could always help stir things, or put these on the tray. I'm sure there's something you could do. Friar Quimble, is there anything that Shadowclaw could do?
Friar Quimble came over, and said, "I have salads that need mixing and tossing for today's lunch. Perhaps you'd like to help?"

" Shadowclaw then smiled at his friend. I would love to mix the salad after all that is my favorite. I bet I end up eating most of it everytime that we have it."

"Good! Now, it's just over here..." Quimble said, taking hold os Shadowclaw's shoulder.

Lana picked up a small pawful of the dough, (His small is their large) and rolled it into a ball before placing it on the tray and with great anticipation, squished the dough beneath his large paw. When he picked up his paw he saw that he had squished not only his bit of dough but two others, which were, needless to say flatter than a pancake. "Oops!" Lana mumbled. "Sorry." Lana then tried to push the dough back into it's original shape, but failed miserably.

As Fourfang was sneaking back to the area where she had fired her arrow she heard what sounded like a ferret talking, (Just so you know, she does not know much of the difference between vermin voices. Whether it's a fox or a weasel.)

Nodding with satisfaction for his handiwork, Lana proceeded to fill the tray with the scone dough. "Right, that's full. Where do we put the full tray?".

Lana picked up the tray and amid the general hustle and bustle around the kitchens, attempted to open the oven door. But failed miserably as he received a nicely burnt paw. Wincing in pain, Lana held the tray in one massive paw while he shook the other to try to cool it down. "Is there a cloth or something to open the oven door?" Lana asked, trying to make it look as though the burn did not hurt.

"Shadowclaw heard Lana. Are you ok do you need help."

Lana Chuckled. "Yes sir, I am perfectly fine, I just singed my paw on the oven door. Do you have a rag or some cloth to open to oven door?"

" Shadowclaw handed Lana a oven mitt. Please don't call me sir it makes me feel old."

Lana Accepted the oven mitt gratefully. "So what should I call you if not Sir?" Lana inquired as he opened the oven doors. A blast of heat singeing his whiskers. Carefully, Lana placed the tray in the oven and closed the door and turned around. Wiping some sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. Lana Commented "These Ovens sure are hot!"

" You can call me Shadow. Yes those ovens do get very hot so be careful. At least I don't have to worry about them so much."

"Alright. Shadow it is." Lana replied as he continued filling another tray with dough and placed it in another oven. "Has anyone seen Aoi around?"

Aoi looked at the spoon a little sadly. She couldn't believe that she had managed to chew all the way through the spoon. Shrugging, she tossed both halves of it down beside the path outside the abbey.

One of the Abbey Sisters saw Aoi throw the spoon halves down the path, and hobbled ver. "Hey, you! Go pick those up! Now!" She called. She was the former Abbess, and did not like littering. "Throw them away properly. And if you're hungry, go to the Kitchens!" Then she hobbled away, "Nop faces, either!" She called, and hobbled away muttering under her breath about the lack of respect the young 'uns these days had.

" Shadowclaw then said to Lana. I think she is sitting on the battlements. Can't blame its a beautiful day outside."

Aoi shrugged and did what she was told, climbing down the outside wall; even though she knew that the spoon would rot and become obsolete in a few seasons. Standing outside the Abbey's main gates, she looked down the path into Mossflower woods, holding the broken spoon in one paw. After standing there for a few moments, Aoi pocketed the spoon and climbed back up to the battlements.

OOC: ok, sorry I forgot to post here for a while. What have I missed?

OOC: Eh, nothing much. Lana burned his paw on an oven handle. Aoi got yelled at for littering by an old fart. Nothing exciting.

BIC: Enthal climbed a rise, and looked down. "Uh-oh.." She muttered. For in the valley below them, there was about a score of vermin.

OOC: I need Snowfire's vermin character to capture on of my vermin band.

Ambrosine stepped back quickly into the shelter of a clump of trees. "What do we do now?"

Tango joined her, "Well, I think we should give the blitters a wide berth. We can't take them all on."

"Did you see that,"Aldof asked Greena, "something moved up on that hill.

"Aye, lord. Would you like for me to check it out?" Greena asked, looking at the hill in question.

OOC: I was thinking Greena could be the one to kill Tango.

"Yes," Aldof replied, "kill anybeast you see.

"Yes, sire." Greena replied, then started toiling up the hill.

Enthal agreed with Tango, nodded here assent, then peeped over the hilltop and saw Greena. "Oh, oaks amighty! Quick, go go go!" She said quietly, hurrying to her companions and pushing them in front of her, hoping to get clear before the vixen saw them.

OOC: I can change it.

OOC: Yeah, Greena can end Tango. Poor hare.

BIC: Tango tried to hurry, but it wasn't possible with her foot, she somehow ended up behind Enthal, and the Sister.  (OOC: I've forgotten her name  :P)

OOC: Ambrosine.

BIC: Enthal looked behind her and saw Tango. "Tango! C'mere,
I'll help you." She said, then saw Greena reach the top of the hill.

Tango tried to run, but fell.

OOC: You can kill her now.  :'(

Greena saw some fleeing beasts, but then one fell. She snatched her dagger and threw it at the creature. When Enthal saw the dagger flying through the air, she cried, "I'm so sorry, Tango!" Then ran, pushing Ambrosine in front of her. "Just go!" She said. She knew there wasn't anything to be done for Tango now. Greena smiled when she got over to the hare for that is what it was, and then claimed her dagger and plunged it into the hare's back, just to make sure.
She then turned and started walking back.

OOC: Is that OK, Rach?

OOC: Yeah... :'(

Simply put, Ambrosine was in shock. Enthal hurried her along and she didn't resist. All she could think of was Tango lying back there stabbed to death. She could hardly believe it.

Enthal looked back and saw that Greena was gone. She stopped and went over to a tree stump and moaned. Tango, gone! She couldn't believe it.

Aldof heard had Enthal and sent Grimnose to investigate. Grimnose wasn't happy with the arrangement but went anyways. He bumped into Greena along the way. Oh hi, Did you get them?""

Avoir, and co, had quickly found different positions. They set everything up, then waited, they were going to kill that vixen.

Remen wandered into the kitchens and saw Lavender. "Oh mother there you you are," he said. "I'm going out to the woods to gather strawberries for the strawberry fizz and I was wondering if I could take some of the Dibbens with me?"

Greena nodded at Grimnose, "One of them. The others ran away like cowards." She said, allowing a small evil grin to crawl onto her face.

Lavender looked up, "Oh, of course! But if you want to take some of them, you might want to take them all, and in that case you might want someone else to go with you." She said, placing a scone on a tray.

"Who should I take?" Remen asked.

Aoi had been heading back to the kitchen, and she heard Remen and Abbess Lavender's conversation. "Sorry, I wouldn't suggest taking the dibbuns, not with the vermin on their way. In fact, if you want strawberries, only send those beasts who are proficient with weapons outside the walls."

"Hmm, you're right, Aoi!" Lavender said, looking at the young squirrelmaid with more respect than usual.

Greena allowed herself a quick moment of gloating success. Then she saw Aldof, and immediatelt snapped back into professional mode. But she promised herself a little one-vixen party later, with some grog. "Cap'n! There was three beasts up there, but two got away. Sir!" She reported, hoping he wouldn't be too terribly mad.

Despite her annoyance at actually having to remind the Abbess about the vermin horde, Aoi kept a calm face as she bowed slightly in her elders' direction and turned, thinking about going to the infirmary and checking if any herbs needed to be gathered before the prospective war.

OOC: Sorry my brother posted under me.

After a few minutes, Ambrosine gradually came out of her shocked state. She was still horrified and saddened by Tango's death, but now she could think straight again. "Come on, Enthal. We have to find Sie, come what may." For once she led the way, taking a few steps forward and attempting to look for tracks from Sie and the other badger. She couldn't find any, being so inexperienced, so she stopped and looked at Enthal expectantly. "Did Sie come this way?"

BIC: Enthal pulled herself together, and said, "Yes; we need to find Sie. And no, he didn't go that way. He went that way." She pointed the way his tracks went. Straight through the middle of the horde.

OOC: You know Gnoflet and Brinty are brothers, right? :)

BIC: "Oh... great," Ambrosine replied despairingly. "How are we supposed to get through there?" She flicked a stray wisp of headfur out of her eyes and glanced at the vermin camp anxiously.

In the week she'd been lost, she had always at least had the somewhat familiar shadow of trees and foliage to lend some illusion of reassurance to her aimless, disoriented wandering. So when she'd suddenly found herself face to face with a stretch of stone late in the night, she only barely had time to think to pull up and manage a clumsy landing instead of plowing headfirst into the wall. Now, in the blinding day of light, Dropear woke up to find herself still clinging tight to the cracks in the sandstone structure. Tucking her head down to shield her beady eyes from the sun's rays, she shifted her position slightly, wondering if she should stay put until nightfall or if perhaps it would be safe for her to try and explore further up the wall in hopes of finding a proper, darker shelter.

OOC: No, I did not. Ay yi yi!

BIC: Enthal thought for a moment, then her ears perked up. "What if we tree hop?" She asked, forgetting for a moment that Ambrosine was a mouse.

"Uh, I don't know about that. I've never even climbed a tree before," Ambrosine responded, embarrassed.

"Oh! I'm sorry; I forget you're a mouse." Enthal apologizing, turning red herself. Then she said slowly, "Well,we could tree hop anyway....It would take a while, but it would still take less time than going around the edge of the horde." She looked at Ambrosine steadly, trustingly, "I'd help you; You know that. Would do you say? I wouldn't let you fall."

As the sunlight grew stronger, Dropear reluctantly decided it would be best to move up and try to find some shelter. A period of tentative grappling and feeling finally led the bat to a gap in the Abbey way, into which she poked her head, blinking uselessly as her eyes tried to adjust to the dinner light of what she didn't realize to be the Abbey's infirmary room.

OOC: I really need to keep up, or I'm just gonna have to leave this RP.

BIC: Sie was helping the villagers of Swallow Valley collect wood, and branches. They were making a huge bonfire, they was to be a village feast, Sie was rather excited. He'd never done anything like this before, his beloved club lay in the grass next to Harin's cottage. He had no use for it.

Ambrosine snapped out of her reverie and headed over to a tree with several low branches. She turned to Enthal. "Uh, so, should we start here?"

Greena jumped, then threw a salute. "Aye aye, sir!" Then she took off. "You, you you, and you - Come with me." She snapped at a few vermin, then set off into the woods.

Enthal shook her head, "No, that tree. Most other woodlanders don't know that long leaf pine's branches are NOT very used to bearing much weight, and only the thinnest, smallest squirrels will go into them. Here, try this one." She said, then walked over to a tree a few paces away, and put her paw on it.

"Okay." Ambrosine headed over to the tree the squirrelmaid had indicated. Grabbing hold of a branch, she hoisted herself onto it. Then, grasping another branch, she climbed a bit higher. She was doing better than she'd expected.

Enthal followed the Abbey Sister. "Alright, stop here, and watch what I do." Enthal instructed, then climbed up onto the branch above Ambrosine's. It was perfect for what she had in mind: Thick, but springy. She stood up near the trunk, ran, and flung herself into space, and then grabbed a branch from the tree next to it. She came back, and asked, "Think you can do that, with a little help?"

Ambrosine tossed her braid off her shoulder, trying to look confident. "Sure."

In reality she was frightened by the very idea, but there was nothing she could do.

"It's really quite easy. Just don't look down, and keep your eyes and nose pointed where you're aiming for." Enthal coached, then grinned. "Alright, it's your turn first!"

Taking a deep breath, Ambrosine steeled herself, ran onto the branch and jumped into space. Just in time, her paws grabbed a limb on the next tree. She swung onto a branch just below the one she'd grabbed and stood there, trembing slightly. "Okay, well, that was a bit scary."

Then, from her perch in the tree, she spotted Greena and several vermin following their trail. "Enthal! Look!" she hissed urgently, jerking her paw in the direction of the enemy.

OOC: Is that alright, Cornflower?

OOC: Quite alright. I was planning for Enthal to spot them when she was that tree with Ambrosine, anyways.

BIC: Enthal looked, then turned back, her expression grim. "Ambrosine, keeping going, and don't look behind you. Don't worry; I'll be right behind you. I'm not suicidal." She said, then jumped the gap.

Aoi backed away from the Abbess, shaking her head slightly. "No thanks, Mother Abbess. There doesn't seem to be many fighting beasts within the walls right now. It'd be safest to just send one creature, that way a lower profile is kept."

Ambrosine swallowed hard and forced herself to leap to the next tree. It was quite terrifying, because she nearly missed her pawhold, but she made it. Without pausing for breath, she jumped to the next tree. And the next. It became a rhythm of run, jump, grab, swing. And then doing it all over again.

Somehow, she actually began to enjoy it after the initial few minutes of terror. As the mousemaid began to get the hang of it, it was quite exhilarating, flying through the trees like that. Gives a new meaning to the term "treemouse", she thought humorously, knowing that some beasts referred to squirrels as such. She hoped Enthal was alright, as she hadn't even paused to check behind her.

Ambrosine realized suddenly that she was now passing through the midst of the horde. Fortunately the trees were fairly close together, and nobeast seemed to notice the branches shaking. She kept going.

After wavering on the windowsill for a minute, Dropear clambered falteringly into the Infirmary, where she stood straining to better see her strange surroundings. A faint aroma wafted up from the kitchens far below, causing the cave bat's head to lift a little higher. Encouraged slightly, she began feeling and fumbling her way gingerly across the Infirmary floor, managing to encounter the wall and follow along it's length for a while.

"I'll go," Remen said. "I'm the one who suggested it in the first place. I also thought I might find skipper's otters. They could help."

Deciding that sending two creatures after strawberries wouldn't hurt, Aoi nods at Remen before bowing respectfully to the Abbess and walking out into the orchard, unable to stay still in one place for too long.

Lavender smiled at the young creatures, then went back to her task at paw.

Enthal gritted her teeth when Ambrosine first started and missed her paw hold, but sighed in relief when she didn't fall. She was right behind the mouse the whole time, and almost kicked a rat in the head, but no one noticed, and she continued.

" After awhile Shadowclaw heard Aoi speaking. Hello friend how are you doing. The he turned to face the abbess and bows. Hello marm.

"Hello, Shadow law." Lavender replied, kneading another kumo of scone dough, that was almost as big as she was.

" Shadowclaw then asked. Is there anything around that you need help with."

No, but thank you!" Rosemary replied, then the plump mouse pulled too energetically in the dough, and fell over backwards with it on top of her. "Help" She squeaked, waving her arms.

Dropear's claw met with the edge of a table, and she paused, feeling gingerly along it for the end and only too late noticing the small bump as something was shoved across the sur--

CLATTER.

The bat screeched briefly as the basin clanged to the floor, and froze in place, heart pounding rapidly. Was the noise going to alert whatever was dwelling here? What if there were more things like that waiting to make more loud and unfamiliar noises? She wasn't quite so sure anymore she liked wherever she had ended up... Hesitantly, Dropear turned her head, straining to find the way she'd come through against the blinding sun rays.

"Grimnose," Aldof yelled. "How far is the Abby?"
"About a day's march captain,"Grimnose replied. "Would you like me to send out a small party to ask for surrender?"

Lana looked aghast at Aoi, "No warrior's?! What am I? A giant otter with funny fur?" He said as he continued to help the abbess to make more food.

Fourfang heard the vermin moving about, and one even passed by her! She stood stock still as the vermin hurried past, breathing a silent sigh of relief. Fourfang quietly placed her arrow in her quiver and her bow across her shoulders and carefully drew her short sword, preparing to ambush the vermin that remained behind where she had first seen them.

OOC: Rachel25, does it matter which one of your vermin I capture?

Aoi didn't hear Lana, having already exited the kitchens.

OOC And no one noticed their Abbess on the floor with a heavy lymo of dough on top of her. That's just sad.

OOC: That's because we forgot to observe today. (We being the royal we.)

OOC Why do royals say We? It's weird, and confusing....

OOC: The royals have a squirrel in their pockets. I think the technicality is that they are referring to themselves and their deity. Or possibly they are implying that they speak for the whole kingdom.

Ambrosine continued swinging through the trees, making it beyond the camp, where she halted and sat down on a thick branch, breathing heavily.

EDIT: The first recorded use of the royal we was in 1169, when King Henry II assumed the common theory of "divine right of kings", that the monarch acted conjointly with the deity. Hence, he used "we", meaning "God and I...".

I feel smart. It's not often that a wild guess turns out to be correct for me.

"Why, Mother Abbess, what are you doing on the floor?" Remen asked with a smile.

"I fell, with the dough falling on top of me! Help me up, and quit laughing!" Lavender literally squeaked, flailing her arms and legs around.

" Shadowclaw then walked upstairs to see the Redwall babies."

OOC: LoL! You guys are such a hoot!

BIC: Lana kept a straight face as he lifted the Abbess off the florr and onto her feet, as the dough fell to the floor. "I'm afraid that you must go to the infirmary Mother Abbess, you might have a bad case of the Dough-nators!" Then his face broke out into a huge broad grin and he laughed uncontrollably.

Lavender burst out laughing when Lana announcede that she had to go the Infirmary for Dough-nator. "Hoohoohoohoo!"

Ambrosine held up her paws and realized they were scratched and blistered. She touched her palm and winced. "Uh, they're a bit beat up, but I'll live." She surveyed their present position and glanced at Enthal. "What now?"

"Here, I have some balm you can use on them." Enthal said, then rummaged in one of her pockets, and came up with a little leaf packet., which she gave to the mouse. "Now, we go down, and I pick up Sie's tracks, and we follow on the ground." She said, then started to climb down slowly.

"Thanks," Ambrosine responded gratefully. She carefully climbed out of the tree and upon reaching the ground, opened the leaf packet and rubbed the balm on her paws. They felt better almost immediately.

"You're welcome!" Enthakl replied, then started searching the ground for tracks. "Aha! They went this way!" She said, then started striding off confidently.

Ambrosine followed. She'd dropped her stick when they took to the trees, and now felt rather vulnerable without her weapon.

OOC; Where in Mossflower are we exactly? Are the Eastern Plains anywhere around? ::)

OOC: I honestly have no idea, Jukka. Maybe another.....Two days walking?

BIC: Enthal crested a rise, and stopped short. "Ambrosine, you really need to see this...." She said, staring down into the valley.

Ambrosine topped the rise and stood next to the squirrelmaid. She gasped. Spread throughout the valley was a small village, with small houses and gardens and beasts going about their chores. "So, the tracks lead here?"

OOC: I'm assuming that we've reached Sie and Harin's valley? If not, I'll edit this.

Lana laughed with the Abbes as his joke, "Really Mother Abbess, what possessed you to try to make a scone as big as you?!" Lana managed to laugh out.

Fourfang stood stock still as the vermin parted ways, looking for all the world like a large boulder. Hence the name Stoneshade. She snuck quietly up to where she could barely see one of the vermin standing alone. And suddenly rushed at them and tried to slam the hilt of her short sword into the back of the vermin's head.

OOC: Yes....RACHYYYYYYY!!!!!!

BIC: Enthal nodded, "Yes...The tracks lead here...Shall we go down?" She said, her mouth suddenly dry.

Lavender giggled some more, then said, "Oh, heehe, I just thought, hahaha, that it would be, hoohoohoo, quite tasty!!! Hahahahahaaaaa!!"

Ambrosine nodded and slowly descended the slope, hoping the villagers were friendly.

Lana gently patted the Abbess's back due to his great strength. "Here Mother Abbess, allow me!" Lana said still chuckling over his joke and emptied a few bowls of dough onto the work space and within 10 minutes had carved a life-like image of Abbess Lavender into the top of the dough with a kitchen knife. Quickly and gently placing the massive scone into the tray, Lana grabbed an oven cloth and oven an oven door and placed the giant scone in the oven to bake. "There! All done, now all that's left is to make sure I don't singe your whiskers Mother Abbes!" Lana grinned.

Lavender was overcome by the giggles. "Oh, heeheehee, please, hoohoohoo, don't, hehehe, singe my, hahahaha, whiskers!!! Hahahahaha!!"

Enthal followed Ambrosine, looking around warily and watchfully.

Dropear paused, waiting a moment. It didn't seem as though the falling object had caused any real harm so far--at least, it hadn't brought anything rushing in to confront her...maybe it was alright to proceed? If she just did so more cautiously...and the smell wafting up from some distance away WAS good...

Cautiously, she resumed her tentative trek across the infirmary floor, eventually making her way to the door and venturing out clumsily into the halls.

OOC: I am a terrible person, I'm soooooooo sorry. I'll post now!

BIC: Ruse felt a sudden pain, and fell to the ground, unconscious.

Sie, and Harin were helping carry out food which was to be cooked on the bonfires. They chatted, and laughed, and in short, had a good time. But suddenly there was a blare of a horn, and everyone stopped what they were doing, and looked around. "What is it?" Sie whispered to Harin.
"Its the alarm horn, it means a stranger, or strangers have been sighted entering the valley. We better get inside." Harin replied already heading back to her house.
Sie thought of following her, but then went, and got his club. He was the most experienced warrior here, despite his age, and he should go with the group that were going to meet the strangers.

Ent5hal heard the horn, and stopped, drew her sword, and leaped forward, she stood still, her eyes roaming around, watching. Her ears made subtle shifts, listening.

"Shadowclaw then heard someone laughing. So he walked slowly and carefully downstairs to check it out. Is everything alright down here."

Ambrosine heard the horn as well. She stopped walking and headed back a little ways to Enthal, a bit worried. "Um, have they spotted us, you think? I hope they're friendly..."

Enthal put her paw to her lips, signaling for Ambrosine to be quiet. She turned, scanned the woodlands they'd come from, and then turned again, and then let her sword droop. "Stay behind me, and try not to make very much noise. And keep your wits about you." Enthal said, then started walking forward slowly.

OOC: I never knew a sword could droop Mizz Corn! ;D

BIC: Fourfang examined the unconscious vermin lying at her feet. "Hmm." She mused, "Vermin are even more easy to sneak up then when I was a little whelp." Fourfang sheathed her short sword and pulled some tough rope from a pack on her back and drug the unconscious Ruse back into the forest. Once they were out of the open, Fourfang tied the unconscious Ruse's paws and foot paws. Then taking a rag from the pack, she gagged the vermin. "That ought to keep you quiet." Fourfang said, with notable contempt in her voice.

Lana laughed so hard he had to lean heavily on the counter for support. "Everything's just fine Shadowclaw! Just having a good laugh!" Lana called out to Shadowclaw.

OOC: Ruse is a mink, and she's deaf.

BIC: Sie walked in the middle of the group going to meet the strangers, a big hedgehog, carrying a scary looking sword, pointed up the bank, "Lookit there, a squirrel, and mousey."

Enthal drew in her breath, and said, "Change of plan. You stay here while I go talk to them." Then she started walk9ing down the hill.

The hedgehog, who was leading the group, and who's name was Dumba, stepped forward. "What be you doing here missy?" He called up to Enthal.

"Searching for a badger by the name of Sie. Have you seen him? I promise you that I intend no harm, unless I'm harmed first." She said, then sheathed Martin's Sword and spread her paws wide.

OOC: Okay, that would make sense. But to give fair credit, Fourfang does not know this information. ;D How are you feeling today Rachel?

OOC: Fine why?

BIC: Dumba raised his eyebrows in surprise, and turned to Sie, who had pushed forward, "They be wanting you young un."
Sie was equally surprised, but then his face darkened as he recognised Enthal. "Why can't you creatures just leave me alone?"

Ambrosine obeyed Enthal and stayed right where she was. For about thirty seconds.

When she saw the group of villagers, a badger among them, approach the squirrelmaid, she hurried downhill and was soon standing by the Abbey Warrior. The mousemaid looked up and recognized the badger as Sie. When he said, "Why can't you creatures just leave me alone?" she lost all patience and burst out, "Sie! We've come all this way looking for you, and you know what? We were attacked by vermin, and Tango was killed! And it's all thanks to you being such an idiot!" The image she had of the haremaid lying dead reappeared in her mind, and she felt extremely stressed out, upset, and angry at Sie for causing all this. She really wasn't herself at all. Never, back at Redwall, had she lost her temper and tried to make somebeast feel guilty.

Dropear fumbled as her claw hit a flat surface rather than dipping down to another step. She paused, gaze roving around the room as the echo of voices became more readily apparent.

"Hello?" She called, her voice tentative and soft at first. "Is there anybody there, anybody there?"

Abbess Lavender cocked her head; She thought she'd heard something up above. She slipped quietly away, and went up, and saw the bat. She approached. "Hello, I am Abbess Lavender. Who are you?" She asked gently, for she'd heard of bats before. Although she'd never seen one before....

Enthal sighed, "I thought I told you to stay up there!" She said, then addressed Sie, "She's right. I've tracked all day, and last night, Tango was killed, and did I mention the huge valley of vermin we had to tree hop over? Just look at Ambrosine's paws!!" She said, then grabbed the Abbey Sister's paw gently, and held then so Sie could see the damage.

OOC: Should I change that, Jukka?

Dropear swiveled to face the Abbess, squinting harder; though the relative dimness of the indoors was gentler compared to the sunlight of outside, she still found it difficult to perceive more than a vague, fuzzy silhouette. At least the speaker sounded friendly... "Is this your home? I am Dropear, and I am sorry if I have intruded, if I have intruded. Please, could you tell me where this is, where this is?"

OOC@Cornflower: No, it's fine.

Sie's eyes widen in surprise, as he heard that Tango had been killed. He didn't even hear what else was said to him. Although it hadn't been obvious, he had really liked Tango. She had been friendly, and understanding of him, and now she was dead because of him.
Sie didn't feel at all well, he could hardly breath. Then without warning, he just collapsed, out cold.

" Is everything ok Abbess. Does some beast need help."

OOC: Iamthais, when did Shadowclaw go up the stairs?

BIC: Lavender smiled, "Yes, this is my home. It is the Abbey of Redwall, a peaceful Order. I am Abbess Lavender, and no, you are not intruding. We welcome other creatures to stray as long as they like, as long as they mean no harm to us." She said gently, and welcomingly. She also hoped she didn't sound too pompous or anything.

Enthal shrieked quietly, "Sie!" She let go of Ambrosine's paws and knelt, then very very gently slapped his cheeks.

OOC: I suppose that's alright?

OOC: Shadowclaw heard someone laughing wasn't that the Abbess.

OOC: *shrugs* I dunno know.

BIC: Sie stirred slightly, by this point everybody was crowding round.  

Enthal took then poked his nose. That usually worked. (Remember that, Rachy? Haha!!) "Do you creatures mind giving me some space?" She snapped, then poked his nose again.

OOC: Yes, that was the Abbess and Lana. But then Shadowclaw went down, and Labna explained, correct? And now the Abbess is out of the Kitchens.

Lana watched the ovens as the massive scone cooked. Would the carving he made in the dough bake into it? Many such questions flew through Lana's head as he intently guarded and manned the ovens as food was placed and removed from them.

Fourfang shouldered her new burden. It was not a very light burden, and it smelled quite repulsive! She kept to the woods as she traveled. But upon cresting a hill, she found Tango's dead corpse lying upon the ground. Fourfang had heard about Hare's. They were honorable beasts, and not taken to being slain without a fight or two. Fourfang inspected the dead hare's body, noting the arrows and dagger stab. I should at least bury her. Fourfang thought. Looking rather moodily over her shoulder at the horde in the valley. Fourfang shrugged and placed her prisoner on the ground and slung Tango's body over her shoulder and groaned as she grabbed hold of the rope that bound the Mink, and drug it along as she searched for a place that might be decent to hide her burdens while she dug a grave for the poor Hare. She liked hare's they fought and died with Honor and dignity.

Dropear relaxed visibly at this news. "This is good to hear, thank you. It has been some time since I lost my way, lost my way." She started to raise a wing to brush gently against the Abbess' forearm, but hesitated, thinking better of it--would such a greeting gesture be considered alright here? "My name is Dropear," she went on softly. "If it is not too much trouble to you, might I perhaps stay a while, stay a while?"

"Shaowclaw heard noise coming from upstairs. So he thought it would be a grand idea to go and check it out."

Lana continued manning the oven doors as cooks bustled around the kitchen. But Lana kept a very close eye on the massive scone that had the image of Abbess Lavender carved into it.

Fourfang after a while of searching, found an ideal hiding place! It was a small cave with plenty of surrounding rock to close the entrance with. Fourfang was near exhaustion when she reached the entrance. And she dropped the Mink she was dragging in the cave before she placed the body of the Hare as gently as she could on the cave floor. Then she sat next to the dead hare and leaned up against the cave wall and rested before going outside to haul some large rocks inside as a small table to lay the Hare's body on before she sealed the entrance with stones and rubble.

"Yes, of course. You may stay as long as you like!" Lavender said, then took Dropear's claw and started to guide her to the Kitchens.

Ambrosine just stood aside, letting Enthal deal with the situation.

Dropear hobbled docilely along, eagerness dawning on her face as she began to catch the aromas wafting from the kitchens.

Lana used an oven rag to open the oven doors as he and the Friar together pulled the massive scone from the oven. It's Golden-brown crust perfectly baked to the experienced Friar's eyes. Together, they placed the huge scone on onto the cooling slab next to the window. As Lana sniffed the aroma wafting from the scone, he noticed that the carving he made of the Abbess was baked perfectly into the top of the Scone. "Wow!" Lana exclaimed, "The carvings still there!"

Fourfang pulled, tugged, and rolled the last of the three large stones that formed the Hare's burial table. She placed the three large flat slab's of stone next to each other and stopped to rest. It had taken her almost an hour to transport the three large stones to the cave, her breathing rather heavy from towing the rocks. She rested for a while before she stood back up to place the dead Hare onto the table for her final rest.

"Shadowclaw smelled something good cooking in the kitchen. Mmmmmmmm that smells good I think I will go check it out. Careful walking down the stairs he made his way towards the kitchen. What's cooking in the oven."

OOC: @Iamthatis. Yout forgot to take your response out of the quote.

BIC: Lana Called back to Shadowclaw, "Um, nothing! Just a surprise for the Abbess!"

Fourfang after a good rest, walked over and picked up the Hare's body and placed it onto the makeshift table. Then leaving the Mink still tied and gagged in the cave, left to go find more rock and rubble to seal the cave up with. Very unaware of the large badger tracks leading in another direction.

" Shadowclaw smiled. Really is there anything that I could help you with. I promise not to tell anyone about it."

Lana though for a moment. "Hmm, is there anyway to dye the meadow cream different colors?" Lana asked, an idea striking his brain. "I'm thinking of icing the figure of Abbess Lavender so the carving looks like her."

" Hmmmmm I think different herbs can be used as dye's. She would love that."

Lana nodded and turned to the Friar. "Friar, is it possible for you to make some meadow cream for the scone? I want it to look like the Abbess, just to make her laugh. She looks like she could use another good laugh." Lana grinned.

OOC: Herbs and fruit juice make excellent dies. ;)

BIC: The Abbess was stopped from going into the Kitchens by a plump mouse assistant, who had overheard the part about the Abbess' surprise. "Ma'am, you can't come in." He said, blocking the doorway with his chubby girth.
"Why ever not?"
"They're making you a surprise."
"Okay...This is Dropear, and she'd like some food. Will you see to it that this good bat gets some?" Lavender asked, giving the helper The Look ver the top of the bat's head. "Well, certainly! I'll make up a tray, if you'd be so kind as to wait for it around the steps." Lavender nodded, rolling her eyes.

" The Abbess sure does look like she needs to laugh. I hope everything is ok with her. It take a lot to be the Abbess of the Abbey."

OOC: What was the Friar's name again? I can't remember.

Lana heard the Abbesses voice at the doorway, and quickly moved to block her view of the massive scone. With Lana's formidable bulk, it was a rather easy task. Despite the fact that the scone was almost the size of the Abbess. "Your right about that Shadowclaw, I'd imagine it is a tough job being the Mother Abbess over everyone." Lana said curtly.

" Hmmmm he thought to himself. You know what would make this even better for the Abbess."

OOC: It's Quibble, isn't it? Well, it's now Quibble.

OOC: Okay, the Friar's name is now decided. That issue is out of the way.

BIC: Lana looked quizzically at Shadowclaw. "What would make it even better?"
Friar Quibble came back with some meadow cream, "Out of my way." He said to Lana and Shadowclaw, as he bustled past to fetch some herbs to dye the meadow cream. "The fresh meadow cream should be ready by the time that surprise has cooled down long enough to put it on there." the Friar said.

Fourfang slumped wearily to the ground as she pulled the last piece of large stone in front of the cave, now all that was left to do was to block the entrance. And get her prisoner out. Grumbling, Fourfang walked into the cave and grabbed hold of the bonds that held the Mink captive and wearily drug the Mink out of the cave and into some surrounding shrubbery. The Fourfang started to place the heavy stone slabs in the cave entrance to block it closed. Forming the Hare's final resting place. When she placed the last piece of stone in place, Fourfang took her short sword and carved some words into the last piece of damp sandstone. 'Here lies a unknown Hare who died fighting, may she rest in piece.' With her eyelids drooping wearily, Fourfang sheathed her sword and slumped against a tree and fell asleep almost instantly.

" Some of her favorite flowers. The Abbess has always liked the smell of her favorite flowers during the day."

Lana nodded understandingly, "Would you be able to go get some of those flowers?" Lana asked Shadowclaw.

OOC: Try roses, daises, carnations, and sunflowers.

OOC: Ok thanks I love Sunflowers.

" Shadowclaw then put on a smile. Of course I would love to pick some flowers for the Abbess. I know all her favorites. The Shadowclaw walked out of the kitchen and went into the Abbey Orchard to start picking flowers."

Lana nodded. "Right! let's also try to keep this a large secret. Can't have the Abbess overhearing others talking about it. That'd spoil the surprise."

" It was a nice beautiful day out in the Orchard. Shadowclaw was having a grand time picking some of the Abbess favorite flowers. I hope she likes all this. She deserves a nice rest."

OOC@Captain Snowfire: I noticed that you've used the word 'drug' in several posts. Just thought I'd point out that it's 'dragged', not 'drug'. :)

Dropear listene to the exchange between Abbess and assistant with an intent look on her face, her ears swiveling and twitching acutely to follow the direction of each speaker as they responded in turn. She rasped out a soft "thank you" to the other mouse.

Aoi, having forgotten where she had left herself, barreled into the kitchens, a wide grin on her face. Seeing Lana, she ducked behind him. "Shhh! I'm not here." Seconds later, three dibbuns came running in, each armed with a rush. Not seeing their prey, the dibbuns turned and ran from the kitchens.

Crabbygrog marched along with the horde, looking up enraptured at the patches of sky that could be seen through the cover of Mossflower Woods.

Lana chuckled as the Dibbuns ran from the kitchen. "What did you do to get on their bad sides?" Lana asked her. "Oh! And have you seen our surprise for Abbess Lavender?" Lana pointed proudly at the massive scone on the cooling slab being carefully painted with different colors of meadow cream to make it look like the Abbess.

" After a while out in the orchard Shadow came back into the Kitchen. It's such nice day out I was able to pick a little of everything. I have roses, daises, carnations, and sunflowers. I hope the Abbess will like them what do you think Lana."

Lana looked up as Shadowclaw entered. "I think she will love them! Especially since their her favorites!" Lana beamed happily.

" As long as it makes her smile. I may be blind but I can still tell when someone is smiling."

OOC: How....?? Never mind.

BIC: The assistant nodded and smiled kindly to the bat, and said, "Why, you're quite welcome." Then he bustled off into the Kitchens, making sure the Abbess went around the corner, leading their new visitor.

OOC: That OK, Lenda?

Ruse woke, and suddenly panicked, realizing she was tied up. She struggled, and tried to get free, but it was useless.

Sie was now fully awake, he sat up, but he felt like he was in some kind of nightmare. "It's all my fault. It's all my fault. It's all my fault. It's all my fault. Oh, Tango! It's all my fault."

"No, it's not all your fault! It was partly my fault too." Enthal said, trying to soothe the badger and give vent to her feelings as well.

OOC: Hahahahahahaha! Ooooohhh! I think my cat's in for it now! She's only what, a hill or two away from Sie and party? ;D

BIC: Lana shook his head in amazement. "I'll never be able to understand how beasts such as yourself Shadowclaw can see without seeing." Lana smiled.

Fourfang woke up to some thrashing in the bushes where she had left her prisoner. She rose grumbling loudly, and made her way to the bushes. "Will ye stop make 'in such clatter?!" Fourfang roared at the Mink, turning her over. Ruse's first glimpse at her captor seemed to be a living rock!

" It is hard for one who isn't blind to understand. I myself sometimes wounder about that very question. I also wish that I could see that why I could be more for a help to those who need it."

Lana thought on this. "Sight is a good gift, but it also dulls the other sense somewhat." Lana mused.

Ruse saw her captor speak, but didn't understand, she was quite good at lip reading, but that was only when the person spoke clearly.

" That is a good point. I guess being blind has its advantages."

Fourfang roared once more at her prisoner. "Make anymore noise an I'll cut out your heart with a wooden spoon!" Fourfang almost spat out these last words.

Aoi nodded appreciatively at the masterpiece in the kitchens. "That's lovely! To answer your first question, Lana, I.. Ah.... Pinched a candied chestnut or two."

Upon reaching the stairs, Dropear huddled down comfortably at the bottom, wings tucking contentedly around herself.

"Are there many creatures here, creatures here?" She questioned Abbess Lavender.

Lana eyed Aoi sternly, but could not hide the amusement in his voice. "A candied chestnut or two? Just how many did you 'pinch' so to speak." Lana asked Aoi.

Avoir, Nazwa, and Fretka were all getting worried about Ruse. She was meant to be helping them kill the vixen, so where was she? She never just wandered off. So what had happened?

BIC: Fourfang scowled at the Mink and then remembered something. She turned the Mink over and started searching for weaponry. Oh! What a fool I am! Not checking for weapons when I first captured the creature! Fourfang cursed herself inwardly over her stupid mistake.

"Yes, there any many, many creatures here. But all of them are friendly." Lavender assured the bat.

" Shadow then heard the voice of Aoi. Hello my dear friend how are you on this fine day."

Aoi greeted Shadow before replying to Lana. "Um... Four? Six? Idunno..."

Lana sighed trying hard to cover up the large grin that was threatening the spread across his face. "Well, come over here and help me try to get the Abbesses whiskers correctly.

Ambrosine, who'd calmed down somewhat, now felt terrible for making Sie feel guilty. It was partly his fault, but she shouldn't have said what she had. After Enthal had spoken, Ambrosine crouched by Sie and answered, "No, it's not your fault. Tango died defending us. She was a very brave creature. You shouldn't be sad; do you think she'd like that? No! She was always cheerful, and she wouldn't like to see you moping about like this."

Sie was in such a state he barely heard what she said, he just kept moaning.

I advise you loosen that tongue of yours, or it'll go badly fro you.... Real badly." Fourfang threatened. To emphasize her threat, Fourfang placed Ruse's sword blade against her/his throat. "Have anything to say now?"

OOC: Not sure if Ruse is a guy or gal.

OOC: Yeah, I know Rachy! Snow, I'm havin' a good day, and am having fun....You?

OOC: I am having a very on and off day. :) But other then that it's good. Finally located a game that I have been trying to find for almost 5 years. And in the most unlikely place too! ;D

Ruse had managed to wriggle one of her arms free, it had taken all this time, but at least she could now maybe explain to this beast she was deaf. She pointed to her ears, then shook her head, then repeated.

OOC: Well....... That's one interesting Mink if ever I met one. I would have thought the first move she would have made is to grab her throwing knife and stab Fourfang or something like that.

BIC: Fourfang saw the Mink's paw come free and her grip on the dagger tightened. Then the mink did the most unexpected of things. She pointed to her ears, then shook her head. Pointed to her ears, then shook her head again. The Fourfang got the message. Deaf. Of course! She should have gotten that link when the mink first shook her head! Fourfang sighed once more. Now this is just stupid. Now she has a prisoner that could hear her about as well as a worm could hear a fish swimming in the ocean across an island. Still with the sword point against the mink's throat, Fourfang used her other paw to grab the mink's freed paw and restrained it, then quickly removed the sword from the mink's throat, and rolled her over. And placed her foot paw on the mink's back to keep her from struggling to much, and tied the minks paw once more. A little tighter this time.

"Shadow looked down at Aoi with a smile. Really thats alot for someone like you."

Parsel Stagvulle strode down the west path leading to Redwall It had been a few seasons since he had been there. He had just been assigned to his first patrol when he first visited the Great Abbey of Redwall. "Ah! What I would not give for those days to be bestowed back upon me!" The Major told himself as he marched down the path. There it was! The top of the Abbey Bell Tower! Quickening his pace the Major marched faster down the path. His eyes riveted on the top of the Bell Tower. "Oh! Upon my word! I do hope that Abbess lavender has not ordered the bally old scoff to be hidden. I'm absolutely Famished!" The old hare told himself. "Good thing I never told her I was coming, totherwise she would have hidden everything cept the old compost heap!" Major Parsel muttered under his breath. "I don't know what your worrying about old scout, she probably won't even recognize you! Yes, that's the ticket! Think positive!" The old hare marched even faster as a light breeze blew through the tree's, causing his nose to twitch. "By my left paw!" The Major exclaimed. as he marched even faster. "I might be late for supper if I don't put a bit of speed on the old paws wot!" The old major Marched even faster yet.

Major Parsel Stagvulle made it to the front gate of Redwall. Panting slightly, he lifted up his Halberd and banged on the gate with the handle of his halberd creating quite a racket. "I hope that I'm not bally well late!" The old major muttered to himself, "Hmm, they've probably eaten all the jolly good scoff by now. Ah, well. THey'll just have to make some more whenever I get inside." THe Major banged once more on the gates in case they had not heard him the first time.

Aoi, having fled the kitchens, heard the banging on the gate. Only slightly concerned, she went straight to it and opened it a crack. A hare stood there, armed and panting. With a grin, Aoi opened the gate wide enough for him to enter. "Welcome to Redwall Abbey, sir!"

Sie shoved her off, "It is my fault!"
"What's who's fault?" Harin asked, coming up behind them. She had got bored of waiting for the group to return, so she had come out to find out what was happening.

Lana did not see Aoi hurry from the kitchens, as he had turned his back to make sure that none of the dibbuns were trying to steal part of the scone. But when he turned back around to talk to her, she had vanished!

Fourfang finished tying the Mink's bonds as tight as she could, completely unaware that the Mink was holding her breath. And was just about to saw something when she heard a faint voice carrying on the breeze.

Aoi began walking towards the main Abbey building, questioning the hare as she went. "Major, did you, perhaps, run into a vermin horde on your way?"

The major looked questioningly at the Squirrelmaid. "A vermin horde? Hrm, certainly not miss. If I had, do you think it would be just me sent on patrol from Salamandastron? I may be a bit daft, but I'm not dumb." Said the old major as the two of them walked to the main Abbey building.

Stopping, Aoi looked at the Major in shock. "Really? There was an entire horde!" Then, realizing that there tend to be more than one way to any one place, she shrugged and continued towards the doors.

OOC: Hey, Snow, that is a little unfair. If I hadn't explained it all, then you probably wouldn't have noticed.

OOC:...Hmm...It IS, a little bit, but not totally... How about Snow, you fix it so Fourfang heard it very, very faintly? I mean, REALLLLLLLLY faintly. And, there was PP there. Ruse is one of Rachel's official characters.

BIC: Enthal hit the dirt, winced, and got up. "No, it isn't!" She insisted, getting frustrated. "And, you, miss, can but out!" She snapped at Harin. "This is between Sie and I!" She said, then turned her attention back to Sie. "Sie! Tango was with me, alright? If she was with you, then you wouldn't have let her die!" Shje said.

OOC: Um, I don't think Ruse is. Avoir is, and Ruse is one of his followers.

BIC: Harin was taken aback by the squirrelmaid's manner. She tossed her head, and turned, and walked off back into the valley.
Sie had stood up now, and cleared his throat, "You shouldn't have been so rude to Harin." He growled, trying to hide his real emotions. Then he hurried off after Harin, leaving everyone dump struck.

BIC: Fourfang pushed and shoved the Mink in front of her until they reached a hilltop, where a good deal of commotion was happening. Fourfang's eyes widened as she saw two Badgers! She ducked into the shrubbery, pulling the Mink with her and placed a claw to her lips. Indicating silence, and she crawled slowly forward until she had a clear view of the scene below and watched and listened.

OOC: Power Play. An example is, say, me killing off Fourfang WITHOUT your permission. In otherwords, taking your cgaracter and dion something with it, without you consent. Or, say, you killing off, or slapping, or injuring, Arya, in TRTN.

Ruse rolled her eyes when being told to stay silent. She was silent, she didn't know how to talk. Stupidhead!

Ambrosine just stood next to Enthal after Sie and Harin had walked off, unsure of what to do. The whole situation was a bit awkward. "Now what?" she whispered to Enthal.

"I don't know." Enthal replied sadly, then started thinking.

"Um... well..." Ambrosine said, then ran after Sie and Harin. "Harin! Wait! Enthal didn't mean to be rude!" She caught up to the two badgers and looked up at them. "She didn't, really! And Sie, we're only trying to help you. Your father would have been terribly upset if he knew you were lost. But now we've found you, and you must come back to Redwall with us." She flicked a few strands of headfur out of her eyes and watched the young badger hopefully.

OOC: Y'know, I'm confused. In the OP of this thread, Cornflower, you said the horde had sighted Redwall. But Ambrosine and Enthal just ran into Greena and some hordebeasts, and as far as I know, we're nowhere near the Abbey...

Also, Gonflet and Brinty haven't posted as their hordes for awhile. Are you gonna take over?

Lenda relaxed as she felt the paw patting her wing, deciding she liked it here very much after all. "May I ask, might you happen to know of a place called Bat Mountpit, Bat Mountpit?" She figured it couldn't hurt to ask--maybe somehow this friendly mouse would know?

BIC: Lavender frowned, thinking for a moment. "That sounds familiar..Hang on, we learned about it in Abbey School! It's a place that Martin The Warrior visited once!

Aldof was stepping in squishy stuff, but payed no heed to it. Alomst all his vermin were with him, he knew that much. He was thinking up a Master Plan to capture that Abbey, when all of the sudden, he was floundering, trying hard to get a grip.

Enthal smacked her paw to her face, watching Ambrosine. "What is she doing?" She asked out loud, but talking to no one in particular.

OOC: Hey, Crabby can totally kick the bucket if need be. But being an Abbeydweller would suit her..... She'd get on Aoi's nerves big time. :P

OOC: I rather like Crabby, and I'd prefer it if she didn't kick the bucket. So, yeah, let's make her an Abbeydweller!

Sie, and Harin looked at each other, then at the Abbey Sister. "Why should I come back? I'll only cause more trouble." Sie growled.

OOC: Ok, no kicking the bucket for Crabby. Crabby isn't very good at kicking things, anyways. She ends up tripping over them. (Maybe that's what I'll do. She'll trip over the bucket and end up on a cloud.)

"No, you won't! In fact, going back to Redwall is the best thing you can do right now!" Ambrosine insisted. "You can't stay here forever! Your father sent you to Redwall, and he'd be really worried if he knew you were out here."

"What do you know about my father?" Sie roared, "Worried? Not likely, he wouldn't even care!"

OOC: *Snorts in laughter* Kicking at a bucket, and ending up on a cloud? Hahaha!

"Sie! He really does care about you! He only wants the best for you, which is why he sent you to Redwall! PLEASE come back with us!" Ambrosine pleaded.

OOC: Crabby could fall in a swamp and come up smelling like daisies.

Sie snorted, and shook his head, "I'm happy here." He glanced at Harin, "Very happy."

Ambrosine realized then that Harin and Sie were quite fond of each other and Sie would never leave without her. "Wellll... Harin could come with you to Redwall! Would you like to visit there, Harin?"

OOC: Daisies? Blue, you're too funny! And, Jukka, nice touch! @Rachy: While I'm thinking about it, would you like for Greena to survive, so your little group can kill her?

BIC: Aldof was scrabbling at the mud, panicked. Then he blacked out....And that was the last known about Captain Aldof and most of his crew. Ever.

"Shadowclaw was walking around in the abbey. When he heard some new voices. Hmmmm it sounds like me might have some guess. So carefully Shadow walked towards the voices."

"Oh... well, maybe you... well..." Ambrosine really didn't know what to say to this.

Ambrosine racked her brain, desperately trying to think of a way to get Sie to come back. Then she had an idea. It was kinda lame, but worth a shot. She addressed Harin. "Er, well, maybe your grandma could come with us?" It was the only thing she could think of.

OOC: Great! They're gonna fall in the same swamp also!

BIC: Greyko was walking along, minding his own business, with the horde following him. Then, he felt the dirt get squishy beneath his paws. He didn't pay any attention to it, and continued walking. Then, he vanished. His horde of cats crowded around the spot he'd vanished, and started sinking too...Next thing anyone knew, they were all dead.

OOC: That's one way to get rid of a horde.  :D So what's gonna happen now? Will they have a feast, Greena gets killed, and then the RP end?

BIC: Harin looked startled, but then unsure, "Well, me, and Mum are struggling, and we don't really like it here. Maybe, I could ask." 

OOC: Yeah...Probably.

BIC: Enthal walked up to Ambrosine, and the two badgers. "What's going on?"

Ambrosine watched Harin and Sie walk away, then looked at Enthal, who was holding some cheese out to her. She sighed, accepted the cheese and sat down next to her.

"Okay, what now?" Enthal asked, watching Ambrosine watch Sie and Harin walk away.

"Er, I'm not sure," Ambrosine replied. "I suggested that Harin could come to Redwall with Sie, but Harin said she couldn't leave her mum and grandma. Then I  said that maybe her grandma could come with us (her mum completely slipped my mind for some reason), and she told me that she and her mother were struggling, so maybe she could, but she'd have to ask." After that somewhat complicated explanation, the mousemaid took a bite of her cheese.

Enthal digested this for a few minutes, then said, "Well. That might work." She took a bite of bread, chewing thoughtfully. "But what about the horde? Do you think they fell in the swamp?" She said this last line completely sarcastically, completely unaware that even as she spoke, the last of all the hordebeasts (Save two) were drowning.

Harin was at this moment trying to convince her mother that they should go to Redwall, Sie stood in the doorway, exchanging confused looks with Harin's Grandma.

OOC: Okay, so no one thought that funny? Aw, darn!

"No such luck, I suppose," Ambrosine said, also completely unaware that her wish was being fulfilled at that very moment.

"Yeah.....Ah, well." Enthal said, taking out a canteen of water. She took a swig, then passed it to Ambrosine.

Ambrosine took a drink, then passed it back. "I wonder if talking to Sie and Harin even did any good," she said, sounding a bit worried. "What'll we do if he just won't come back?"

"I don't know, Sister. I guess we'll just have to go back without him." Entyhal said, hoping that this wouldn't happen.

"But this is our home!" Harin's mother, (who's name was Rose) sighed unsure, "We can't just get up, and leave."
"Why not?" Harin asked, she did so want to go.
"Because, we don't know what its like out there."
"We've heard of Redwall Abbey. You know as well as I that its a place of peace."
"We know barely anything about the place. No, I won't go on your word, no miss."
"Would you go on the word of one of the Sisters?" Sie asked.
"Maybe." Rose said, "But I doubt ones at hand."
"Yeah there is. There's one outside. And the Redwall Warrior. Shall I get them."
"Oh, please do!" Harin's Grandma, (who's name was Bluebell) smiled. "It'll be exciting, Rose!"
"Ok, then." Sie nodded, and he left to go get Enthal, and Ambrosine.

Ambrosine saw Sie approaching, and she stood up, brushing cheese and bread crumbs from her tunic. She hoped her words had done some good and the young badger would return with them after all.

Enthal also stood up and brushed herself off. "Oh, joy. Mr. Grumpbadger approaches." She muttered under her breath, barely loud enough for Ambrosine to hear, much less Sie.

"Rose wants to talk to the both of you." Sie said, and without an explanation, he turned, and walked back.

"Okay. Who's Rose?" Enthal called, as she jogged to catch up to him.

"Harin's mother." Sie said blankly, as he opened the door.

Ambrosine followed Sie into the small cottage, hoping Rose would allow Harin to visit Redwall.

"Okay." Enthal muttered, then got quiet as she stepped into the cottage. It wouldn't do to bad mouth the people who lived here.

Lana finished decorating the massive scone, it's features of Abbess Lavender making her look like something out of a dibbuns drawing book. "There, looks just like her!" Lana commented at his 'not so excellent artistic skills.' "I think she'll love this!" Lana exclaimed. Then asked, "What do we do now?"

"Thank you." Enthal said, and sat down on one seat. Then she decided that there was enough beating around the bush, and asked, "So, you wanted to talk to us, ma'am?"

Lana Chuckled quietly to himself, walked over to Shadowclaw and offered him his paw for support. "What is it you need help with?"

Ambrosine sat on a chair next to Enthal and folded her paws in her lap. This HAS to work. If Sie doesn't come back, I don't know what I'll do.

Enthal, noting Ambrosine's uneasiness, patted her paw lightly ((Am assuming that's fine)) then put her paw back on her lap, also hoping that Ambrosine's idea would work.

Rose seemed uneasy, but also cut to the chase, "Tell me about this Redwall place, please."

Ambrosine allowed Enthal to pat her paw, but it didn't stop her worrying. Then when Rose asked about Redwall, she spoke up, trying to describe the Abbey for her.

"It's an Abbey, made of red sandstone. Everybeast there is peaceful. We do have a Warrior - Enthal here - but we haven't had any vermin attack the Abbey for seasons. The Abbess is named Lavender, and she's very kind. The Abbey has kitchens, and dormitories, and a pond, orchard, and gardens. Oh, and some of the best food in Mossflower," she finished with a smile.

"Aye. We are all a peaceful Order, and look to help and heal wherever we can. We'll take in any creature, unless they mean us harm. The Abbey has never been taken, except for one time, and that was less than a day. We can protect ourselves." Enthal said, then swallowed hard.

Rose looked unsure, but asked another question, "What about schooling, and the rules?"

"We have an Abbey School, where all the Dibbuns (That's the babes, ma'am) go to, once they reach a certain age, four seasons old. The rules that no weapons are allowed in the Abbey, except the sword on my back (Long story), and everyone must be peaceful, kind, and courteous to each other. We have an Infirmary Sister, to treat anyone whose hurt, an Abbess or Abbot, and an Abbey Warrior." Enthal said, rather uneasily.

"But what about my bow!" Harin cried, worriedly.

"Oh, you can take it! Perhaps they'll make an exception if you promise not to use, except for target practice or something." Enthal said hurriedly, her eyes ping-ponging from Ambrosine, to Rose, to Harin, to Sie, and then back again.

"Ok." Harin nodded, and Rose asked another question. "Would they....you, be able to accommodate my mother, she's very old now."
"The cheek of the girl!" Bluebell said indignantly, but there was a twinkle in her eye. 

"Yes, of course! There is several spare rooms." Enthall said, then smiled.

Rose looked startled, "But, what of the others in the valley? We aren't warriors!"

"Well, they could come too. We've got plenty of room, and we've had to help refugees before. The season of the Scourge is one time, and I could name others." Enthal said quickly, really hoping they'd come.

"But I can't make that decision!" Rose groaned. "You'd have to ask the others!" 

"Of course!" Enthal said, shocked. "Perhaps you could call a meeting, or something?" She proposed.

"What a good idea!" Bluebell perked up, "Harin dear, go tell the others to go to the Meeting Hall, there's a good girl."
"ok, Grandma." Harin smiled and ran off to do as Bluebell asked.

"Is Harin your granddaughter?" Enthal asked, politely trying to make some conversation.

Bluebell nodded, "Oh, yes. She's a dear little thing."

Enthal smiled then bit her lip. She really didn't know what to say now. "So, uh, this is a nice community. What's it like, living here?" She finally asked.

"Not brilliant." Bluebell frowned, "We've had frequent bad crops, and food has been running low. And it rains a lot, and sometimes the house floods. But we've never had anywhere to go." 

"That's horrible!" Enthal sympathized. "All the more reason for you all to come to Redwall."

Ambrosine, unsure of what to say, had just let Enthal do most of the talking. She continued sitting quietly, paws folded in her lap.

Bluebell nodded, "I agree. I'm all up for moving."
Harin popped her into the room. "Everyone is at the Meeting Hall."
"We're on our way." Rose called, and Sie got up, and walked over to Harin.

Enthal stood up, and went to offer assistance to Bluebell.

"Thankee young un'." Bluebell smiled, then Rose came over to help too.

"You're welcome." Enthal said, then stepped back to let Rose assist Bluebell. The elderly badger would probably be more comfortable with her kin.

OOC: Since there is no real reason for my warrior Kitty to be left alive, Mizz Corn. With your permission, I'd like to arrange an accident to happen to her.

OOC: I do apologize for my long past required attendance as I was made to make an emergency trip to France to visit my Grandmother who had unfortunately caught Pneumonia. And I am well beyond pleased to announce that she is in good health!  :)

BIC: Major Stagvulle accompanied Aoi to the Main Abbey building where he rambled on over his past companions and assignments to no end, as he walked extremely slowly. "I say, I simply must tell you about the time when I was a forward Scout!" the Major rambled on.

OOC: Corn, Jukka, can I just jump us to the Meeting Hall?

OOC: Can I not take a break? Even if the reak was rather unwanted? Alright, @Snow: She's your charrie....You don't need my permission there!  So, sure! Go right ahead.

BIC: They four badgers all walked into the Meeting Hall, and took seat in the front row. They were closely followed by Enthal, and the Abbey Sister. (forgotten her name, sorry)

You ARE special!

BIC: Enthal looked around as she sat down, not recognizing anyone. Which really wasn't a surprise.

Everybody in the Hall was whispering to each other. Then Rose took a deep breath, and stood up, and walked to the front of the room. She turned to face everybody, and began speaking. "Hello everyone. I'm sure your all wondering why I called this meeting. It is because we have some visitors," She gestured to Enthal, and the Abbey Sister, "Who would like to speak to you."

Enthal gulped, and stood up, and walked over to Rose. "Hello. My name is Enthal, and I'm the Redwall Abbey Warrior. Um, I'd like to warn you that there's a vermin horde in the next valley over. If you like, you may come to Redwall. " She said, somewhat weakly. She glanced at Rose for a moment.

People began panicking in the crowd, and began asking questions, "Are the vermin coming here?"
"Will they hurt us?"
"What's Redwall Abbey?"
"What about our homes here?"

Enathl gulped, and called, "QUIET!" They hushed, and Enthal continued, her voice stronger. "I don't know if they are coming here. If they are, it's best if you're not here. Homes can be rebuilt - But deaths cannot be repaired. Redwall Abbey is a place of peace, prosperity, and happiness. If you come back with me, you will be safe. You may always come back when the danger is over. You may want to stay. Either choice is fine." She said, then paused, waiting for the crowd to say something, anything.

Everyone looked at each other, then began shouting again, "How can we trust this stranger?"
"Yes, she might be trying to trick us so she can steal us blind!"
"Don't be so rude! She's come to help!"
"Well how'd you know that!"

Enthal looked at the crowd, and took back her wish that they'sd say something, anything. She looked to Rose for reassurance.

"ENOUGH!" Rose barked, and the room shuddered to silence. "These good people have come to warn, and help us. I for one am ready to trust them! That is why I'm going to pack, and get my family ready to leave immediately."
Rose then strode over to Bluebell, Harin, and Sie, and said to them confidently, "Lets get ready to go. Come on Sie, you can help."

Enathl decided she'd said enough, and hurried towards Ambrosine and the badgers. "Um, we';ll be waiting on the hill, okay?" She told them, then went over tyo Ambrosine.

Rose nodded, then left with her family, and Sie. Then other people began to leave, talking to each, and trying to decide if they should go too.

"You did great," Ambrosine told Enthal. "I wouldn't have been able to get everybeast in line like that..." She paused. "Well, anyway, if we're gonna go, we'd better hurry. No telling where the vermin are at this moment." Actually, most of them were rotting at the bottom of a swamp, but of course she didn't know that.

"Alright; and thanks." Enthal said, smiling a small smile at the Abbey Sister. "Comeon, I told Rose we'd meet her outside."

"Alright." Ambrosine hurried outside as groups of villagers walked past her. She caught snatches of their conversation, and was encouraged by the fact that quite a few seemed to want to go to Redwall.

Enthal was right behind Ambrosine, and was also encouraged from the snatches of conversation she heard.

OOC: Can we skip (again) to where Rose, and co is ready to go?

OOC: Fine wid me! Jukka?

OOC: Sure!

Rose, Harin, Bluebell, and Sie all stood waiting for Enthal, and Ambrosia. Bluebell was wrapped in four shawls, and Harin, and Sie were both carrying six large bags each. Though Sie was also carrying two more smaller bags.

Ambrosine walked over to the badgers and stood next to them. She was anxious to get going, as she could hardly wait to get back to Redwall.

Enthal was in the woods, attending to something, and came out of the woods now, and hurried over to the badgers. "Would you like me to take something?" She offered.

Harin was struggling with the bags, "Could you please carry one of mine. I don't know if I can carry them all."

"Sure." Enthal said, then reached over and grabbed the handle, slinging it over her shoulder.

"Thanks." Harin smiled.

"You're welcome." Enthal said pleasantly, then a thought struck her. "Um, I'll be back in just a sec." She said, shrugging off Harin's bag and setting it lightly on the ground, then the squirrelmaid started running for the trees. What if the horde hadn't moved? If they hadn't, there was probably going to be trouble. The badgers were simply too heavy to tree jump!

Ambrosine felt rather stupid when she realized she could have offered to take Harin's bag. But when Enthal set the bag down and ran off, she saw an opportunity to be helpful, and picked it up and slung the straps over her shoulder. She figured Enthal had gone to figure out the horde's position. Oh, we're gonna have to go around the horde! she realized. And that'll take who knows how long?

Enthal saw that the horde was gone.....And their tracks led directly to Mossflower's swamp. She sat down and started laughing.

The old Major rambled on and on while Aoi searched for the Abbess. His mouth almost never stopped moving. "That's how I got one of me wounds!" The Major exclaimed. "I say, you look rather distracted. Do you need help finding anyone?"

Aoi looked back at the Major, smiling. "Sorry, I was listening, really. I was just keeping an eye out for Mother Abbess."

Lana waited for the Friar to put the last finishing touches on the Massive scone as he guarded the doorway from the Abbess.

"Oh!" The Major exclaimed. "Jolly good!" The Major said as he carried on rambling about his past encounters with vermin. He even went as far as to tell Aoi about some of the more gruesome details of the encounters.

OOC: Lenda, I'm sorry....I just don't think you can post often enough to continue on in this RP.

BIC: Abbess Lavender was walking towards the Kitchens again, and was wondering why Lana was standing in the doorway. "Hello, Lana. Is there a problem?" She asked pleasantly.

Aoi listened to the Major with something akin to morbid joy. On a whim, she turned and headed towards the kitchens.

Ambrosine shifted her pack to her other shoulder. She wondered if Enthal had reached the vermin camp by now. Then a terrifying thought struck her. What if she's spotted and is captured? Or worse...

She tried to push those thoughts away. Oh, come on. She wouldn't let herself get captured. I mean, she's the Abbey Warrior! But the mousemaid was still slightly uneasy.

OOC: *Bump*

Corny? Where are ya?

OOC: Oops....

BIC: Enthal stood up, still laughing. As she ran back, she had to keep stopping to giggle. When she finally got back to the others, tears were streaming down her face.

"What's up with you?" Sie asked, puzzled.

"Oh, hahaha, heeheehee.....The horde marched into a swamp...hahahahqa.....Ambrosine and I were wishing, hohoho...That they would do just that!" She managed to get out, laughing.

Ambrosine was relieved when Enthal reappeared, but she was wondering what on earth was up with the squirrelmaid, who was seemingly crying and laughing all at once. Then she said something really weird to Sie. "What did you say?" Ambrosine asked, sure she'd misheard. How could the whole horde have just walked into a swamp?

"The horde, hahahaha, walked into the swamp! HEeeheeehee!" Enthal repeated, still laughing.

"WHAT?! Are you sure about that?" Ambrosine asked, incredulous. Then she remembered how good a tracker Enthal was, and figured she couldn't have made a mistake. The mousemaid shook her head. "That's just weird. I mean, I believe you, but I've never in my life heard of a whole army walking into a swamp. Well, the good thing is we don't have to worry about that now."

Then she paused. What if the villagers decided to stay, now that the horde had disappeared? Or worse... what if they thought that she and Enthal had made up the whole thing about the horde? She stood there, nervously clutching the bag's strap as she hoped against hope that the villagers - or at least Sie and Harin - would still come with them.

"Well, we might as well go anyway." Bluebell announced.

Ambrosine gave a sigh of relief. "Let's go now."

"Lets. Before those rain clouds reach us." Rose agreed.

Enthal finally got her giggles under control, and grabbed the bag. "Aye, let's go."

OOC: Should we do a time jump, or do either of you have something planned?

OOC: I don't. What about you, Jukka?

OOC: I'm fine with it.

OOC: Okay...How about they're at the Abbey, then? Or do y'all have plans?

OOC: I don't have any plans, so I'm okay with that.

OOC: I figured that one. Raaaachel! You got any plans? *Sits tight and waits for tomorrow*

OOC: Ummmmmmmmmmmmm, no. I'll be fine if their just waking up to the Abbey.

OOC: Okeydoke!

BIC: Enthal blinked as the Abbey door came closer...And closer....And closer....Then she hit her face on it. "Ow." She muttered, stepping back and rubbing her nose. "Hey! Brother Thomas! I'm back! And I've brought visitors!" She called. Brother Thomas peeped over the battlements and stuttered. "Why, Enthal-" He began, and the squirrel rolled her eyes. "Just open the gates!"

Harin, and her family stared in wonder at the amazing structure that was Redwall Abbey. Harin couldn't help jumping up, and down in excitement, "We're gonna live here! We're gonna live here! We're gonna live here! We're gonna live here!!!!"

"Aye, so you are." Enthal said, smiling as Brother Thomas's head disappeared. A minute later, the gates were opening. "Welcome to Redwall Abbey!" She said, walking forwards.

Rose clapped her hands together, and gasped, "Its wonderful, simply wonderful!!"

"Why, you've barely seen anything yet!" Enthal said, happy.

She was finally back at Redwall! Ambrosine was so happy she couldn't say a word. She smiled at Brother Thomas and practically ran inside the Abbey gate. Home! She hoped she would never have to leave again.

Several Dibbuns walked past, and when they saw the mousemaid, they each ran at her and gave her a hug. "Sista Ambozeen! Where did you go?"

"I've been on an adventure," she told them, returning the hugs, "but I didn't like it much after all. I'm not going away again. Ever." She smiled at the Abbeybabes, then turned, just taking in the whole Abbey. Though she'd only been gone a few days, it seemed like forever.

Enthal smiled at the Dibbuns, ruffling one's headfur as he passed....Then she noticed one heading towards the gate, giggling. "Oh no you don't!" She exclaimed as she ran over and caught him. "Not this time, little one."

Harin, and her family were all walking up the Abbey itself, amazed.
Sie followed just behind, a little nervous. He hadn't made a good impression last time he was here.

Abbess Lavender had decided to take a stroll outside, since she wasn't allowed into the kitchens, and saw badgers, Enathl, and Ambrosione. She ran over. "Enthal! Sister Ambrosine!"

The badgers all turned in the Abbess' direction. Sie hide behind Rose, and prayed the Abbess wouldn't see him.

Abbess Lavender smiled. "You've brought visitors! One of whom has too many paws. But welcome! I'm Abbess Lavender. Welcome to Redwall! But where is Tango?"

"Abbess!" Ambrosine exclaimed. She wanted to apologize right then and there for having been rude when the Abbess had come looking for her a few days before. But before she could say how sorry she was, Lavender asked where Tango was. Ambrosine lowered her head and answered sadly, "She's... well... we ran into some vermin...." She left the sentence unfinished, not wanting to say outright that the haremaid was dead.

Sie bit his lip at the mention of Tango, he still felt terrible.

Lavender looked shocked, "Oh, my..." She said, then resolved herself. "My manners are dreadful. I'm sorry, guests, you must be tired, hungry, and thirsty. "

The badgers nodded, "Indeed we are." Rose said, smiling a little nervously.

"Well, I'll show you to your rooms." The Abbess said, then walked over to peep behind Harbin. "And you, young whippersnapper, know where your room is already, I believe."

Sie swallowed hard, and nodded.

The Abbess murmured, "I'm sorry." Under her breath, so low that it would be very hard for anyone except Sir to hear. Then she turned and started to the Abbey.

Sie couldn't look her in the face, but then the other badgers were following the Abbess, so he followed them.

The rest of the villagers were already being shown to their rooms by some Brothers and Sisters, so Ambrosine wandered off to her own room to have a bath and rest.

After t,he badgers were shown to their rooms, Lavender also wandered off.

After her bath, Ambrosine lay down to rest. It felt so good to actually have a bed again, after sleeping on the ground. She drifted off to sleep, dreaming about the events of the past few days.

OOC: Sure. I do feel we're at the end of the RP, and I think we should come up with a good way to finish it off.

OOC okay. Feasting time!

BIC The tables were set up and groaning with food. Lavender sat at the head of one of the tabls, smiling at the scene before her.

Ambrosine sat near the middle of the table, eating a mushroom-and-onion pastie. It was wonderful to be back with all her Abbey friends, and getting back in time for the Autumn feast made it extra special. The mousemaid glanced around at all the villagers sitting with the Redwallers and smiled. She was glad the villagers were beginning to fit in with everyone else.

OOC: BlueRose, Givanell, and Snowfire haven't posted in forever... we kinda need to tie up the loose ends with Crabbygrog, Fourfang, and the Major. :P

Sie sat next to Harin. They were talking quietly, and commenting on things, and people around them.
Sie was feeling the happiest he'd ever been in his life. He never wanted to go back to Salamanderstron. He wanted to stay here, with Harin, maybe forever.

Ambrosine glanced at Harin and Sie. They looked very happy, just sitting together talking. As she took another bite of her pastie, she wondered if there was going to be a wedding at Redwall any time soon.

OOC: Their a bit young for that.  ;)

OOC: They're in their late teens, aren't they? I'd say that's old enough, especially in the Redwall universe. :P
