Why are some people so hard to get ahold of? ._.

My coach texts me to give him a call, my phone is almost dead, so I plug it in. I call him. The call drops. I have no service in my house. I text him to say I will call him on another phone. I call him. Twice. It goes to voice mail. I text him to see if now would be a good time to call since my phone has enough charge. No answer. He doesn't like being rung more than once in a row.
