A common theme among ze tvo moviez Ze Zree Doctorz an' Ze Five Doctorz vaz za' firzt ze firzt doctor doeznae actually appear like ze zecond an' ze zird doctorz an' could only advize zem, an ze fourth Doctor really didnae play a major part in ze movie.

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.
