Played a round of "Backyard Baseball", one of the games I got in the mail today. It was set for 6 innings, and my first play went into 5 overtime innings (11 total).

I don't like babysitting.  I don't care that I got paid pretty well, I still don't like it.

I babysit some. Only boys, though. I deal with them much better.

Do you like the money?

Yes, but not that much.  It's not really worth it to deal with a disobedient, hyperactive six-year-old and her little sister for several hours, just so I can get some money.  :-\

Agreed.  I have to fight off every urge to tell that little girl to sit down and shut up.  I mean, I'd never want to tell that to anyone, but I'm the type of person that has very little patience (trying to work on improving that, but it's quite hard), and when combining that with disobedience, lies, and violence (that girl is very good at hitting pressure points on my body), it's very hard not to snap.

I'm sorry to hear how difficult that is...  :-\ But do you know what? I win.  8)
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

You must not be from around here, feller.  See, 'round these parts, folks refer to me as the winner, not you.

I feel ya. I narrowly escaped a similar plight this evening. Luckily I have an eye infection that might be pink eye, so I couldn't go. Last time I babysat those two little girls they were running around all over the place, and then the 7 year old put in some Katy Perry biography while I was dealing with her sister. When I came out she was entrancing watching  Katy Perry sing "California Girls." Not my best babysitting moment. :P

Yikes!  Lol, I had to babysit today by myself and couldn't figure out why the one-year-old was crying every so often.  Her mom picked her up when she got home and immediately went, "Oh, looks like you've got a full diaper!"  *Faceplam*  Or there was the time when I turned around for one second and came back to discover that the six-year-old had drawn all over her Barbie doll with black crayon that WOULDN'T COME OFF, or the same girl playing with her bouncy putty while I was cooking dinner and dropping the putty in the hot stove, effectively burning it and making a lot of smelly smoke.  :P
