While I'd like to meet everyone, time and proximity are big factors. Realistically, I could probably meet with Matthias720 and Flandor because they live within a distance of me that isn't impossible to travel. Additionally, they're also older members and probably could find time to meet without causing any hullabaloo with parents.
I live in South Carolina USA, But I lived in Europe for 12 years and I have crossed the Atlantic Ocean over 20 times so I am used to travel. But I still think at least wish to see all of you some time. I know I will see all the true Christains in heaven some day. :)

umm, skype has this neat little function, called group chat, if you dont have skype premium, you cant do video on group chat. (when i skype my friends, we do computer games, we dont use video) so showing your face wouldnt be a problem. if you are concerned about voice, that would be a problem. and i dont think most people with skype have skype premium. but, it would be hard to arrange a time when everyone is on. and, a call with that many people would be hard to manage. i mean, most people dont have external microphones, which means static x 50 or something like that. that equals a lot of noise. but, maybe not everyone on the foryms would skype at the same time. it is possible to do somethign involving skype.
EDIT: and as for the point of this thread, i would like to meet wonwill and gears the most, but idk if i would go to a forum convention if there was one. my parents might not want me to XD

And if we did meet in person, I'd feel totally comfortable telling all y'all my name. If you meet face to face, you know who you're talking to and you can be sure that they're not some creepy forty-year-old stalker guy who lives in his parents' basement and prowls about on the internet. ;)

Well, we did have a Skype chat going at one point. Jukka, Leatho, Tam, Dan, Rusvul, and I were some of the people in it. We just did voice chatting though. It was pretty cool, and I would like to do it again if anyone else would want to.
In real life I'm relatively unemotional, extremely introverted, and absent minded, and I don't really think I express those traits across the interwebs very much. Aside from that, I just remembered that ya'll would probably know me just based on my height, so nevermind. ::)

I don't mind voice that much; I have an issue with video, though. I think text is a great idea.

That'd be fun, and I'm about 67% sure my parents would be comfortable with me just reading a book on voice chat.

A bit more clarification on a previous comment. Hobson's choice is no choice at all. You either take what is available, or don't. The example I saw first was like choosing between using the toll bridge (which is the only one), or not using it. A choice between things that are equally negative is known as a Morton's fork. That having been said, Morton's fork is also said to be (by Google, and multiple articles describe both versions of the fork), "a type of false dilemma in which contradictory observations lead to the same conclusion." I also came up with Sophia's choice which is choosing between two things that are equally good or bad, as well as Buridan's donkey (different word, same meaning) taking so long to choose between two things of equal worth (in this case, a positive), that one has negated the value in some way. The example given was a (donkey) placed halfway between both hay and water to which said animal could decide on neither, thus resulting in both starvation and terminal dehydration (had to look up that one too)... That was a lot more than I planned on discovering when I looked into Hobson's choice.

I may be wrong, but I think you have to pay for some type of Skype membership thing to do group calls. I don't know about y'all, but I'm practically penniless. We can always take turns getting free trials for a month each, though. I think that's what Dan did the last time we did this.
