-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.

There is no current series ... Disney has cancelled it. There was almost a whole new season ready to go, but it looks like that now won't be seen by the public in any form. :(

They have also cancelled the planned Star Wars Detours animated series (no great loss since it was a silly parody series anyway), shut down LucasAnimation and the LucasArts game company (including the planned Star Wars 1313 game), and the planned live-action TV series is also unlikely to ever happen now.

There was a rumour yesterday about a possible new animated series called Star Wars: Reclamation set 15 years after Return of the Jedi movie as a lead in to the new Episode VII movie, but it looks like that was a fake story.

So I just finished watching through the entire show since I only remember watching season one when it originally aired and, whew, what a time. But I think one of my favorite arcs either has to be the last four episodes (both because it was just pure emotional insanity with a great use of unique openings) or the Mortis part due to the fact it felt so different yet showed so many great things. Also, anything with Maul and Mandalorians involved. Pure bliss seeing that.
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.
