It's set in Martin's lifetime and he journeys to Noonvale because it is threatened (Not one of those where Rose is alive), a squirrel warrior named Triffle who came to find Martin meets a bat colony on the way back to Noonvale and one bat goes with her, he's a pretty good fighter.
