I would like to use a certain character of mine. . . Argunath.

Species: Cougar
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Weapons: Two and a half foot long heavy falcate; sling; anything at paw; teeth and claws when enraged
Appearance: Exceptionally large creature; blonde-tinted gray fur; chain mail tunic overtop a homespun tunic underneath steel armor; a side pack full of provisions, such as flint and tinder, food, and medical supplies
Personality: Stoic, yet sometimes humorous. Takes things very seriously and believes in wasting no time. Very strong-willed.
Origin: From the far west mountains. Due to a constant restlessness, he left his home and travelled with no particular purpose. He suffers from the Bloodwrath, though he must get very angry or suffer pain of mind or body to become consumed by it.

I wrote a reply the day you sent that and I guess it didn't post. >:(
What I had said was:
Most of my characters are older and smaller with significant flaws, so I think my best bet for going against him would be for me to use Rern from IRASATSII 3 so I can try and develop him more. He's supposed to be a good fighter.
Will post the form in a second.
I mean, once I read it over again, if it seems like he would stand no chance I will choose another. Don't want to have this just be me getting demolished.

I've been in a huge writing rut that encompasses everything from this way over to my own personal book that I want to publish. It's not that I don't want to finish these things, it's just that right now it's being really hard for me to muster up the energy to do so (and enjoy doing so). I can assume school's behind this. I'm exhausted--I haven't forgotten about it--I think I just need a break.
(I will be posting in the writing break, just let up and don't expect anything close to a constant back and forth for a while. I might try to get something in today. Don't know. It's disappointing to me too. I just need to step back for a bit.)

How does the fight start? I feel like Argunath may end up hunting Rern down, and at the same time being stalked by the rat.

Sounds like fun, hmm think I'll bust out an old favorite of mine. Cawn the stoat, standard vermin hoardbeast, could be they get into a disagreement over a piece of bread or something like that and end up fighting each other for it. So standard place in Mossflower I suppose, small band of vermin, takes place later in the evening.
Sounds like a plan. Hmm, I'll use my character Roscoe the weasel. He's an utter coward but would definitely get into a fight over something like that.

He has a soft spot for Dibbuns and anybeast that gives him food/free things. He thinks he's hilarious in that he formed a small band and became quite a partier.

Rank: Wander, conscript, captain, he is and has been all these things. Currently more of a wandering type going from vermin band to vermin band.

Appearance: Typical looking stoat if a tad on the short side. Usually wears a long yellow tunic, a thick green cloak, and sometimes a beret. Usually uses a sling as a second belt or is left hanging from his rope belt.
Personality: Cawn is not a nice stoat. Even for vermin he can be overly cruel and often uses this to manipulate or scare others into doing what he wants. He's a survivor and will do just about anything to save his hide. In addition he also usually tries to ensure he'll get the better out of most situations.

I thought I said that he did eat. . . when he was camped out under the tree. Guess not.
And he wouldn't eat all of it, anyways.
Maybe he did. I forget. Maybe he can come across a huge fallen tree or ravine or something blocking the way, that way when Rern finds him they will both kind of be forced to fight.
