Wisteria kept low, her tail lashing as her bad mood rose into almost uncontrollable fury. Her father was marching through Mosflower Wood, searching for the infamous Redwall Abbey.
Nelka was unaware of the wildcats. She was also traveling to Redwall Abbey. The ottermaid was tired of wandering around. She knew that itw as not the sort of thing that she should be doing.
Wisteria's ears perked slightly, she thought she heard something. She leaped into a tall ash tree, her claws peircing the bark. She smiled grimly and waited. Wisteria always waited...
Nelka sensed that Wisteria was watching her. She whirled around, drawing her daggers.
Wisteria cursed the wind, for it had brought her scent to the otter, but also the otter's scent to her. Flexing her claws, (With the metal extensions, non poisoned) She spoke, "Who are you? And do you have any...valuables? Pfft! Never mind, drop the daggers, waterdog!"
OOC: Cannae zeem tae find a place fer me character at the moment. Ah'll juzt bide me time then...
OOC: There's a Sign-up somewhere, and once you do that then just jump into RP. It doesn't matter where is it as long as it's following the RP.
As Tully was taking her morning walk around Redwall Abbey's lawns she breathed a deep sigh of peace. She loved her abbey dearly. As she munched on her warm scone for a quick before breakfeast snack she passed the Abbey pond. She watched the peaceful sight before her; the flowers were waking up as the mist rose from the pond. She had decided to go to the wall tops to watch the sunrise before the daily life of the Abbey begun.

Nelka sneered. 'I don't take orders from vermin. Go away.'
"Go away? Well, that's no way to treat a beast ye hardly know!" Wisteria complained. She slid down the tree unseen, and ducking and weaving, she made her way behind the otter.
Nelka went on, mumbling about vermin on the loose, when she sensed Wisteria creeping up behind her...
Wisteria pressed her metal-claw-add-on's that were dripping with an unknown substance against Otter's back.
OOC: First how do I sign up? This looks like fun.
OOC: Second are all the characters so far female! Cause that would be really funny.
OOC: Well this is embarrassing. I just wanted to say I DO plan on joining this RP as soon as possible.
OOC: Lol, okay, Rp whenever you want to! :P
OOC: My description is in the directory.
BIC: Freeze!......The squirrel turned his head... There it was agian! That odor was unmistakable! He shot up the trunk of an Ash tree, the type with which he shares his name, Ashe. Arriving on the scene he takes it in at a glance quickly strings his Long bow, sights the deadly arrow and prepares to fire.
OOC: Okay, sounds interesting... He-hehe! :D
BIC: Wisteria turned and bolted away from the otter as the wind started to pick up. Swivling her ears, the Wildcat leaped into a dry ditch, peeked her eyes over the top and waited.
Drat! Stupid wind must have carried the TWANG of the bow! Thought Ashe as he witnessed the wildcat narrowly miss a haircut.
Wisteria stares daggers into the surrounding trees, who had tried to kill her? The Wildcat glanced at the figure of Redwall Abbey standing tall and proud in the distance. With a sly grin, she ran on four legs up the path to the Abbey.
OOC: We need to have Nelk do and say something.
OOC: You're right, we should probably wait for her to comment.
Ashe mumbled under his breath:
You got lucky that time cat
You just wait till next we meet
Your not worth shaking a stick at
You would make a nice bedsheet!
OOC: Sheesh, harsh... Lol JK!
OOC: I had an inspiration and had to say something.
OOC: Pfft! Lawls :D
BIC: Wisteria had doubled back seeing quiet a few huge otters in front of the Abbey.
Nelka was fuming. How dare the wildcat, who hardly knew her, try and kill her like that!
The Wildcat curled tightly on a maple tree limb. Waiting again...
OOC: uuummm... Anyone have a sugestion as to where I should go or what I should do as it must be that somehow Nelk missed the arrow flying by at like a zillion mph.
Contatae the ferrret, loner of Mosswood forest, inspected the action from a bramble thicket. She gave a savage grin as she sniggered insults and lashed her sable tale. " Heehee! Wildcats! Probally come to Redwall for a likkle mousey!" Contatae took out her iron shortsword, her father, the mighty warord Shavam The Fierce, had given it to her. It had a shiny blade that shimmered a transcluent blue, and a handle made from the skin of a whitetail buck. Contatae stalked silentely back to her burrow, and sat in her fuzzy armhair, nursing her son, Keelt. Keelt squealed and kicked his paws as she arised and went to her stored poison. Contatae knew that she could rid these cats by something else instad of a fight, she could poison them!
Wisteria watched her father Holker Poisonclaw march onto the road, his vermin horde behind him shouting out, "Ho-olker Poison-Poisonclaw!" Wisteria snickered, what a stupid warcry!
Contatae sniffed her small store of Botulinum, a poison that killed you by excruciating pain. "Heehee! Wildcat thinkz I giveth a gift, but I really give it a poison! She stuffed the powder into a suculent mouse, then quietly tip-pawed out of her den, leaving her babe to enjoy murderous dreams of conquest.
OOC: I have a description on my SIGGY
Mossfur the Fletch stood just below the battlements of Redwall. The squirrel archer looked down the line of otter and squirrel archers he had assembled. The abbot had put him in charge of abbey defense. He was the warrior of Redwall and no wildcats would get by him!
----
Cra Hooktalon stood beside the Poisoner. Cra was a svelte gray tabby wildcat. His yellow eyes viewed the abbey and also Wisteria.
"What orders chief? Storm the gates? Use ladders to breech the walls?"
Cra was a general in the ranks. He waited to see what hisaster would want."
Tully was on the battlements looking down. This was her first time shooting an arrow before and she was frightned. The presence of Fletch had helped her but she was still nervous.
OOC: Everybody is accepted! ;)
BIC: Holker Poisonclaw bared his teeth, "Get ladders, make sure they are dry. Tie dry rope around them. Then come and see me." Holker walked into his huge purple tent, accompanied by a serving rat.
Wisteria's green eyes glittered, "Aye, 'tis a good plan."

OOC:Totally agree with you ;D
The stench was becoming ominous. A vermin horde was definetly afoot. Ashe decided against talking to Nelk the otter at the moment and instead headed for Redwall... Something quite against his nature. But it had to be done, just in case they didn't know what was afoot. Swiftly and silently he saw his destination looming up before him... Yowch! that was close. Squirrel nearly killed him, they obviously knew there was a threat. He called to the mouse, " Hold fire mate it's a friend."
OOC: OK bit of a correction here, BIC:
Yowch! that was close. squirrel nearly killed him, they obviously knew there was a threat. Ashe looked at himself and smiled wryly,"Well if I stood up there and looked at myself I'd probably get quite fright too!" He called to the squirrel,
"I say don't do that mate
I asure you I'm no foe
please sir open the gate
Again sir please do so!"
"And rather quickI might add!" for the squirrel (Ashe) had just spotted a vermin patrol conisting a score (20)of vermin. Ashe started to run to the walls...and the closed gate.
OOC: Someone inside Redwall please open the gate before the vermin catch up.plz plz plz plz plz plz plz
Tully runs to the gate seeing a friend and manages to whisper through the bars, "go to the back gat away from the fighting. It will be easier for you to come in and it won't endager my abbey. Go, quickly before you die!"
Tully rushes to the back gate waiting for Ashe to come.
Looking swiftly over his shoulder Ashe bounds to the back of the Wall setting a fast pace, difficult for the heavily armed vermin to match. Ashe tugs on the arrow in his shoulder (lightly) and chuckles amidst the thought "I really need to learn to pay more attention, that is a long way for an arrow to travel and should have been easily noticed,it was well shot though." The vermin are to far behind, panting, to possibly catch up. Ashe slows as he reaches the gate, turns around and shoots the first staggering vermin that comes around the bend... The otheres get the warning.
OOC: I love this RP!
Tully loads her arrow as she opens the gate a crack to let Ashe through. Once he is in Tully slams the door and locks apolgizing as she did her speedy work, "sorry about that arrow. I don't have that good aim."
That good aim! Your kidding me right! That was a perfect shot and over a great distance. And it isn't your fault for shooting me if I was standing on a wall top looking at myself I would think I was a vermin to.
Tully bowed her head down happy for the complement. She said to her new found friend, "Welcome to Redwall Abbey. Would you like to join the fight at the top of the battlements or go up to the infirmary to dress that wound I gave you?"
I can take more than a arrow to my shoulder replied Ashe as he tugged the arrow out of his shoulder wiping it on the grass and handing it out the Squirrel maid," I'd like very much to help you rid yourselves of these pests," Ashe smiled, quite rare, at the friend he'd happened upon.
OOC: Glad you like it!
BIC: Wisteria watched at the ladders her father had ordered made were set against the main gate.
"Now, set the gates on fire!" Yowled Holker PoisonClaw, two-score of rats, weasels, stoats and the like beside him. A stoat threw alighted lantern onto the gate and ladder, which burst into flames. Sadly for him though, the oil was smeared onto his tail, and he ran around screaming, until he was burned to death. None of the other vermin made a move to even try to help him. Holker then disapeared into the forest, his thw-score of vermin following.
OOC: And you say I'm harsh!
OOC: LOL! ;D
BIC:
Tully was embarrassed and managed a smile. She saw Brother Gulpin hurry by to go to the battlements. Gulpin was a shy old mouse but knew alot about herbology and medicine. The young mousemaid waved the kind Brother over to help out her warrior friend.
Brother Gulpin quickly went to work mumiring in his soft voice as he spoke,"You are a lucky squirrel, sir. Any further and you would've died."
OOC: Brother Gulpin is freeplay
Once Gulpin finished Ashe heard the squels of the burning stoat and rushed to the battlements thanking the brother as he went.
OOC: Where did Tully go?
OOC: She'll be right behind you
BIC:
Tully followed suit, thanking the kind brother and reacing after Ashe. As she left she could hear the brother muttering to himself, "Huh, young 'uns theese days. Always rushing after this and that, take your time I always say."
Tully panted as she caught up to Ashe breathlessly telling him, " How did you learn to run like that Ashe? The walls aren't going anywhere!"
OOC: The young uns part was sssooo Jaques! :D BIC:
When you've delt with vermin one thing you notice is that speed is the best weapon against them. I guess It just became second nature to me. Ashe said as he scanned the woods and saw the retreating figures disapear. "Any water hereabouts to dump on the gate?"
OOC: I know I use some techniques from his books :-X
BIC:
Tully replied almost immediately, "In the Abbey Pond of Course! Would you like me and my friends here to get some?"
Yes, definitely. As well as ropes and long poles. If you can point out the pond I can head there straight away! Replied Ashe.
OOC: Heehehee! :D
BIC: The gate cought fire quickly, and the body of the stoat was hardly visible in the flames.
Wisteria sat almost frozen in the branches of a maple, the heat felt very good to her, and she almost fell asleep! Shaking her fur, Wisteria PoisonClaw snarled and leaped from the tree and bouned up the the huge east sandstone wall and dug her long claws into the cracks between the bricks and launched herself up, pressing close to the wall, hardly visibly because of her fur color.
_____
Holker PoisonClaw slunk through the forest, whispering orders. "Where are my captains? And my General? Bring them here! Now!"
OOC: Um at this rate the vermin horde will have everyone inside Redwall slain in about the next 10 posts! BIC:
Just as Ashe was about to head down the wall steps for the Abbey pond he heard some unnatural scraping and crouched low. Ready for anything... Except his former target.
OOC: Having only a knife for close range combat how am I going to fight you off without Godmoding? Do you mind waiting for Tully to do something? and what happened to Nelk?
OOC: Don't worry Tully will come back now!
BIC:
Tully had gathered a group of brothers and sisters to gather the materials that Ashe needed. She sent all of her firends to the top to put out the fire and help she went looking for Ashe.
The scraping sound was coming higher, Someone was climbing the wall!
Holker was writhing n the forest floor, as it turns out, he's allergic to bees! The captains paces, waiting for the healer fox to show herself.
Back at Redwall, Wisteria had slipped and was hanging from the near top of the Abbey by one paw! (With claws unsheathed of course!) Grunting, Wisteria fought to right herself.
Ashe decided to take the risk and peeked over the battlements. There was the cat! He noched an arrow on his bow and said,"I'll give you 10 secends to get off the wall and scram! I don't enjoy killing defenceless beasts" 1!
Wisteria snarled, "Not as defenseless as you think!" She threw up a small dart, unfortunately it was non-poisoned. Many others followed before she dropped to the ground, then hissed in pain.
Ashe ducked the first few, but came up to fast and was hit by the last 2. One on his ear tip, and the other re-opening his shoulder wound. Ashe grimaced with slight satisfaction having given the Wildcat's thigh a good stick from his arrow. He waited for the returning Redwallers...
OOC: Can the wildcats capture Nelka or something?
BIC:
Nelka had been watching the Abbey. She was afraid of the cats, and she didn't want to run away in case she was seen.
OOC: Ummm if they do, are you going to need help?
OOC:yeah we wil help o and btw Ashe the redwallers are there already
BIC: Quickly Ashe instructed and helped the Redwallers in the fire fighting technique: Tie a rope to the bucket of water, lower over the battlements, tip it onto the fire with the long pole. Within minutes the flames had been quenched. "good thing that's over," Remarked Ashe.
Wisteria yowled and bolted into the forest. On her way to her feather she met Grizzle, a huge male Wildcat.
"Hey, Wisteria do you see that otter over there?" He asked quietly. Wisteria looked along the direction that Grizzle was pointing. Dropping low, both Wildcats stalked over to the otter.
Grizzle quickly dropped a bag over the otter's head and hot her over the head with his spear butt, knocking her senseless. Wisteria grinned, "Now we have something to barter with!"
OOC: All good guy characters had better be ready for a rescue!
OOC: *ties up shoes* I'll be ready!
BIC:
Tully has finished her task and was looking over at Ashe. The big warrior squirrel was the most experinced and she waited for orders.
OOC: We don't know about Nelk's situation yet, and the Vermin retreated. You should be looking to Brookskimmers character for help, the Abbey Champion.
Cra had seen the cats capture the otter. He came towards Wisteria and Grizzle and spoke to them.
"Perhaps your father would like to hear of your capture Wisteria?"
___________
Mossfur the Fletch stood before the Redwallers. He spoke calmly to them. "You have all done a wonderful job defending our Abby thus far. However, we need to make sure these cats don't come back to attack again." He focused on Ashe. "You have been a great help to us in our time of need Ashe. Thank you."
The warrior turned his eyes to the battlements. "I was on the battlements moments before we gathered here. I saw an otter taken prisoner by the cats. She is not an Abby beast but we cannot let woodlanders be taken by vermin. Anybeast willing to come with me to rescue this otter speak now."
OOC: Sorry for the delay! Things got really busy. I'm back now ;D
Wisteria frowns, "I guess. You can report it to him. We should scour the woods for more! Somebeast take a score and check out that little cottage down the path."
Ashe said "I'll help and you'd best make a move soon before they use the otter as a bargain piece."
OOC: St. Ninians was destroyed a LONG time ago.
OOC: Pfft. Oops. Okay, a small cottage then?
OOC: It's your choice so long as it's not a place that was destroyed.
Nelka came awake. She yelled, 'Let me go! What are you doing?'
OOC: I opened the RP and I'm like !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What in the world is going on here! when I saw your profile pic ::) lol
OOC: i'm late? XD dont forget who's side i'm on just check the signup if confused
BIC: Axel prowled silently behind the horde.
OOC: and why?
ooc: and why what?
OOC: Why is he... never mind, I'll wait
OOC: Axel is second in command in Holker's horde.
OOC: I know... I'm just wondering what he's doing.
OOC: just solitary
OOC: K thanks... Uhhh... Who's going next?
OOC: dunno just waitin for someone to ask me for somethin i guess
OOC: la di da zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... Brookskimmer? Wisteria?
Contatae totally dumped her plan. It was far too obvious, setting a mouse in the middle of the road on a golden platter. Grunting, she settled down in her cozy armchair and watched another of her babes, Keeli, (Female) playing pretend with Keelt. They both held fake, wooden sticks to replace a sword. "I am the almighty Keeli the Brutal! Keeeeeeli! Kiiiiiiiiiill!" Keeli roared. " I do not fear you, for I am Keelt the Killer! Kill! Kill! Keeeeelt!"
Wisteria signaled to the Wildcats in her crew and they stole down to the cottage. Smoke was rising from the stone chimney and light glowed from the windows against the darkening sky.
"Axel!" She hissed, "Take the rest of the patrol and get in that cottage! Kill nobeast, and bring them to me. Soon we shall have enough creatures to bring to Redwall."
Ashe spotted the smokeing tendrils and was greatly alarmed, "Quick! any able bodied and willing beast please come with me!"
OOC: Yo, Axel Bloodclaw! You're supposed to be taking the woodlanders from their cottage.
Ashe hurried to the nearest gate and checked to see if anyone was following...
OOC: Brookskimmer and Redwallgurl, I need you 2 to help here
OOC: been at grandparents i'm back now
BIC: axel took a squad of soldiers to get prisoners. "c'mon theres a field of cottages over there"
OOC: I thought there was only one, besides, if there are that many people you'd think some of them would live in Redwall.
Tully ran over to Ashe waiting for a quick errond to help.
OOC: How many other Redwallers followed?
OOC: There is only one cottage with a family of field mice, a Father, Mother and two infants, one male and the other female. Axel you're supposed to take them all alive. And as for the otter, (Your name escapes my mind) you're in the bag, but it would be alright to escape or whatnot.
BIC: "Go on, Axel Bloodclaw!" Wisteria growled, impatient with the commander. She wanted more captives, and this little family with the otter would be perfect. Redwall would never fight. But just for good measure, they should probably kill one of them....
Followed by slightly over a score of Redwallers (20) Ashe opened the gate and dashed out yelling to Tully, "Close that gate and don't let anybeast in!" The group of redwallers, mainly otters and squirrels, followed Ashe to the site of the fire, "Get low! (whispered) Ashe knoches an arrow on bowstring, "gggrrr. It's that annoying cat again! No chances this time miss puss!" Twang! (my arrows are silent because they are fletched with owl plummels).
axel's keen ears heard the twang and he threw his shield in front of wisteria.
"ambush"
Ashe was seathing! "that's the third time I took a shot at the same beast!stupid thing is invinceble!"
Mossfur the Fletch
OOC: Brookskimmer gave over RP rights for his characters, I took Mossfur, Cra hooktalon is a freeplay now. BIC:
"settle down Ashe!" Said Mossfur as he passed the angry squirrel, "You'll get another chance, right now we have to focus on the fight!"
Ashe
"Your right" Ashe remarked slightly grudgingly as he stood up to help... and impaling the first vermin that tryed to make a run for it.
axel judged where the arrows came from and took a soldier's spear and threw it.
Ashe rolled quickly, "Does he actually think I'm not paying enough attention for him to be able to hit me?"
Mossfur
Mossfur was leading the charge of redwallers who weren't armed with Bows or slings, "Not much farther now, Redwaaaalllll!"
Ashe
Ashe led the remaining redwallers along a more discreat rout to the cottage.
A few of the vermin looked helplessly for their leader, but Wisteria had left them to their fate.
High in the branches of a sturdy oak, the Wildcat glared down at the front charge, wondering why they had no weapons. Instantly the thought hit her. Was there another force going around? As a sneak attack? Growling at her own incompetence, Wisteria PoisonClaw leaped from the oak, landing silently on the ground. If she found her father, Holker, and his crew, they could overpower the Redwallers.
It seemed simple enough, the Redwallers were not trained fighters, after all. But something made the Wildcat wary as she darted into the forest.
Ashe took a turn and spotted the wildcats running figure disapear," I'll get you eventually cat!" He practically spat out the last word. The fuming squirrel helped the small squad of redwallers get the creatures in the cottage to a safer place, and then joined the fight, TWANG! rat (-1).
OOC: The redwallers have staves slings and bows.
BIC: Mossfer, abbey champion
Mossfur was having diffculty with a surprisingly skilled ferret (Axe, large shield), "Time to finish this," thought Mossfur. He quickly took a step back and to the side, using the momentum to bring the sword of Martin back, up ,and around cleaving the ferret nearly in two. He spotted Ashe and half the small group of rewallers approaching...
Tully was on gaurd waiting for some action. She had her weapon in her hand and was ready for anything!
The fighting was over and the Redwallers+Ashe+saved innocent creatures, were running back to the Abbey. The gate loomed up and Ashe called, "Tully! Open the gate!"
Tully opened the gates ushering the beasts in and slamming the door behind them. As she bolted the door behind them she gave Ashe a big hug happ he was alive.
"Oohp! Well I see someones happy." :-[(this is so remeniciant of The Long Patrol) Ashe said smiling, which was gradually becoming easier... Strange.
Mossfur
The Abbey Champion and other redwallers present had a little bit of a job to do trying to keep a strait face, "Well I do believe we can relax somewhat, the vermin have slacked off so we can now post a light sentry and get some rest. Have you heard anything of Redwall fare Ashe?" Mossfur couldn't resist a smile and slight chuckle at this point.
OOC: Any one in the vermin army PLEASE don't attack for at least awhile! BIC:
Ashe
"I volunteer to be on the wallguard."
Mossfur
"No! You have been the busiest of all of us, and I'd like to talk with you about your experiances so far with the wildcats. Besides, you need to eat sometime and that wound needs redressing."
OOC: I actually wrote a song! (I'm a teaveling Musician too!) I want to use it in cavern hole during dinner (not cavern hole the board)
Wisteria had found Holker PoisonClaw. And she quickly explained her plan.
Drop back for a while, building up the armies. (Vermin and weapons and training)
Find more captives.
And then wait.
Wisteria nudged the sack with the otter inside, then snarled. "Soon you'll be a bigger piece in my game. A game that Holker doesn't even know about. And if you repeat that to anybeast, I will kill you personally, otter!"
Mossfur, after apointing a wall guard, led Ashe and the rest of the Redwallers not on Wallguard to Cavern Hole for supper (which is in about 20 min.) Mossfur then signaled over brother Gulpin (second time today) to dress Ashe's wound again.
Gulpin
*mutters* Again? Creatures these days, you'd think they'd learn their lesson first time around!
Ashe
Ashe answered wrily, "Well it's good to see you again too."Ouch!" Hey, hold of there I need that shoulder!"
OOC: You see what a not so smart decision releasing Nelk is right?
OOC: Well she couldn't do much stuck in a sack, now could she? ;)
OOC: Yea but you just lost your only bargaining piece
OOC: Oh bad stuff. Well... I'll just have to find some new pieces. (Evil laugh and snigger)
OOC: Just modify the post and we'll back track to that point. It's not that big of a deal!
Tully was guarding the battlements, it was her watch. She was hoping that dinner would come soon, she was starving!
OOC: Nelk is still in the sack just for all you who don't know. BIC:
Ashe was astounded!
Mossfur
Not what you'd expect eh? Mossfur commented with a smile.
Ashe
This place is huge! And I'm not even going to start on the smells! *ssnnniiiiffffff!*
OOC: (Modified) There has been a change in guard.
Tully went vdown the battlements confronting Ashe. "Thanks for all of your help to the Abbey! Is there anything we can do for you?"
"Do for me? Are you kidding? After the food I got to eat it's a wonder I am not the one in debt!" Ashe said."I wasn't able to give Mossfur any information on wildcats sadly, so the last thing I could do for all of you Redwallers is sing and that pretty much sums up what I can help with."
Wisteria kicked at a bound mouse tied along a line with four other mice. A mother and father, two females and the male that she kicked.
A patrol had found their cottage and ransacked it, taking the family captive.
OOC: Redwallgurl, this would be a good point for you to say something.
OOC: sorry I've been busy I'm doing this at a sleepover I won't be here tomorrow at a field trip sorry! :)
BIC:
Tully looked over her shoulder to the battlements and dissmesed them rather going with Ashe. The battlements can wait she thought, I'd rather be with my friends.
The tough young mouse snarled at Wisteria boldly. "Stupid cat! Attacking a poor family like us, and the babes too! What is it ye want, vermin?"
The Wildcat laughed, "If only my commanders were that tough, though it seems that they're never around anymore. I need you to help me takeover Redwall. And that, *Flicks mouse's snout* Is all you get to know!"
Tully smiled challenging to Ashe.
" I've heard that warriors can't sing. Is this true?"
For the first time in years, Ashe's eyes finally twinkled again with their lively blue pools, "Oh depends on the warrior," said the squirrel rubbing his chin, "Some can't, some can... And some just don't," He finished teasingly.
"I supose I owe all the Redwallers present SOMETHING for this nice hospitality."
He stood up slowly, cleared his throat and announced, "This song is called many things, among which are In Dark of Night and A Wanderers' Tale
After the announcement, Ashe the black squirrel sang with an unused, yet very sweet Tenor that had not rung for many a season:
We wander here and there
Searching hill and dale
Looking for a place that's fair
Drifting with out fail
As the shades of twilight
Fade from that beautiful hue (Chorus)
Evening will turn to night
With its deep dark blue
In Dark of Night we often hide
feeling quite misplaced
Trying to find one with whom I can confide
Constantly searching for that place
As the shades of twilight
Fade from that beautiful hue (Chorus)
Evening will turn to night
With its deep dark blue
So! Where shall we go
the word welcome is unreal to me
we try very hard just so...
Others will finally seeee
As the shades of twilight
Fade from that beautiful hue (Chorus)
Evening will turn to night
With its deep dark blue
See that we are normal beasts
We're not that different at all
Everyone has apparently ceast
To believe that we exist at'all
As the shades of twilight
Fade from that beautiful hue (Chorus)
We will hide in this night
Wishing our home would be found true
OOC: The references to WE is the fact that there are many wanderers.
Our current location is cavern hole so most of the creatures in Redwall were present.
Tully gazed out into the distance as the last rang out across the hall. She could imagine herself there.
Before she broke into applause she was heard calling, "I guess I was wrong warriors do sing!"
:-[ Ashe was a little embarresed with the applause and sat down, "Least I could do for all of you." He remarked.
Mossfur
Mossfur had drank in the song with pleasure, "It's hard to coax most singers here at Redwall to sing something. Strange though, your song was both exilerating and sad at the same time." Mossfur looked at Ashe with curiosity.
Wisteria paced anxiously, where was her captain? Axel BloodClaw?
"Deadear get over here!" Obediently the Wildcat came, waggling his one good ear.
"Yes, Wisteria?"
"Deadear, I need you to find Axel BloodClaw, and tell him I'm ready to bring the mice captives to Redwall!"
Nodding, Deadear slunk away to find the captain.
meanwhile axel was sleeping in a tree.
"zzzzz"
OOC: For all of you who singed up and don't know where to come in, GET IN HERE! Lol. Sorry, but really you can jump in anywhere. Like, NOW. ;)
Wisteria had the 'fortune' to find Axel first. Silently, she let an arrow fly and pierce Axel's ear.
OOC: Well that's not nice! lol.BIC:
Ashe and Mossfur exchanged glances, they were both feeling suddenly uneasy.
"Somethings wrong." Said Mossfur to Ashe, "I know the feelin'." Replied Ashe.
They both stood, and excused themselves.
axel fell out of the tree.
"WHAT THE?!"
Wisteria was at Axel's throat in an instant. "I should kill you now, Axel! I've been waiting to bring the captives to Redwall, but you wouldn't know that because you were sleeping! NOBEAST SLEEPS UNTIL I SAY SO!" Wisteria snarled loudly. Deadear stepped back and waited for further orders.
"Now, what do you have to say for yourself, Commander? I should strip you of your rank, you know." Wisteria said quietly, and her voice was filled with the promise of pain if Axel could not come up with a good (and believable) excuse.
OOC: you clearly dont know how dangerous i am
BIC: axel moved lightning fast and jumped out of the way.
"was bored an you kindove owe, me i saved your life from the squirrel with the bow and arrows"
Wisteria hissed. "I like you spirit, Axel. But you should have been sleeping closer to camp! Anyway, we're taking the slaves to Redwall. Now."
___________
Wisteria stood on the path before the great red sandstone abbey, the captives were put in individual sacks.
"Hey! You lazy Redwallers! I have something you should see-e!" Wisteria called mockingly, pulling a large shield and sword withing grabbing distance.
Holker snarled and paced at the back of the huge army, two creatures on either side of him, with huge shields and swords at the ready.
axel stuck his sword in the ground.
"well now its the waiting game"
Mossfur and Ashe were on the battlements (after dismissing the guards) and were hiding below the red blocks
M"This isn't a good situation, you know what they'll do once they get a hold of our attention.""
A"I know all right. They'll ask for the Abbey in return for the lives of those prisoners.... What do we do?"
OOC: HELP!!!!!
OOC: trololol, we win
OOC: Don't go gettin' to happy... Redwall can't fall, it's as simple as that!
OOC: That is were your brain comes in! Mwoo hahaha!
BIC: "If I do not get a reply, then one creature will die. I have a family of mice in the sacks, arranged randomly. I could stab the mother, the father, either one of the sisters, the brother, oh! What's this? An otter! I almost forgot the otter. Well now, that would be such a shame!" Wisteria laughed darkly, then stepped back into the horde.
A "Mossfur (they are whispering and you CAN'T hear) I'm gonna try a bluff, you go and round up your most capable creatures, oh and bring me some rags, twine and a small bucket."
M Mossfur looked at Ashe inquisitively, "What are you fixin' to do mate?"
A "Somethin' I'm probably gonna regret for the rest of my life! Now go."
Ashe stood slowly... The creatures below couldn't see him! This would make things easier, "Ahoy cat! What do you want!?
OOC: any body got any bright ideas? I'm gonna stall and have my own bright idea but I need some others too!
Wisteria rolled her eyes. "What do you think, squirrel? I didn't think you Redwall creatures were that stupid, but apparently I was wrong... So, shall I stick one of my captives?" The Wildcat drew a wicked looking curved, jagged knife from beneath her royal purple cloak.
Mossfur had given Ashe the essentials for his plan in silence without being noticed... Ashe had told him the wild scheme
A
"Well cat, the problem here is that I'm not an Abbey beast, so I can't do anything in their sted, and I don't exactly trust you with an unguarded wall!"
M
Mossfur lead the small group of (16) squirrels silently throughthe tree tops, they approached the talk area and waited....
OOC: You can't see them.
Twirling the knife with almost a sad expression, Wisteria said, "Then I guess somebeast will die..." Then the Wildcat whipped around, about to plunge the knife into one of the sacks
"Hey! I wouldn't do that if I were you!" *sheer whistle* *brings up bow with flaming arrow on it*
M
The champoin of redwall dropped between Wisteria and the prisoner she was about to stab *parries* "Your going to have to try hareder than that! Throw it now!"
*Squirrel brigade throws strange content on ground between vermin army and prisoners* *Ashe fires flaming arrow*
Floom!
The substance bursts into flame while the rest of the squirrels drop out of the trees.
M
"I'll give you one chance to get out of here alive cat!"
OOC: Don't forget that it's you, Axel, and two guards there, your facing 10 arrow wielding squirrels, as well as stave and sword wielding squirrels (8)
Wisteria screeched wildly as a fire arrow grazed the left side of her face. She ran through the screaming and wailing horde, one sack in her hand which contained on of the sister mice.
"Help me! Heeeeelp me, please!" The mouse called out, as the Wildcat bounded into the woods.
Holker PoisonClaw found himself up a burning tree. "Get back, get back flames!" He bellowed, fear overtaking him quickly. Suddenly the tree snapped, and Holker was thrown into the flames, burning to death...
The contingent of squirrels quickly gathered up the remaining prisoners, wondering what to do about the fire when Ashe called, "Don't worry about the fire mates, it'll only last for so long, hurry back!"
axel took a fallen spear and threw it at the ambush leader then ninja'd away through the woods.
"well the whole talking thing was a fail" mutters axel while escaping.
Mossfur saw the throw and dodged easily, "You'll have to try harder next time vermin!" He nearly spat out that last word.
Juneberry had never been so scared in her life! Wisteria dropped the sack and quickly drunk some of the cool water that ran through the small river she happened to come across. Juneberry just got moss soaked in water, and some leaves... The mousemaid hoped help would come soon.
axel wandered aimlessly about in mossflower woods...
"grumble"
June heard Axel and thought he could be a kindbest, and she called out. "Help! Somebeast please help- Yowch!" Wisteria had kicked the sack with her footpaw. "Shut up you stupid mouse, you're still part of my plan!" She whispered cruelly.
axel heard the noise and went in that direction.
Wisteria had soaked her face in the cool stream water. Because unlike other cats, she wasn't afraid of it. Not at all. Pulling her head out of the water, the Wildcat gasped at her reflection. Yes, it was the head of a Wildcat, but the entire left sire was burnt, charred and scarred. But Wisteria's left eye was startlingly green against the black...
Juneberry was slowly rolling the sack, not sure of direction. With small lunges, the sack moved forward. And forward. Closer to the stream. And closer. And- SPLASH!
"Help me! Bluuurgh! Somebeast! *Coughs and hacks*" June screamed as the sack fell into the river, not sure how shallow it really was. Wisteria watched in grim satisfaction as June struggled in the water, (which was only up to a beast's knees). Wisteria grabbed the sack and threw it onto the ground. "Try to escape again and I'll leave you to die in that sack!" The Wildcat promised.
OOC: And to think you thought I was harsh! lol BIC:
All the prisoners had been brought into Redwall, Ashe had taken a head count... and shook his head when he met Mossfurs eyes.
OOC: Lol
BIC: "What's your plan then, cat?" June called out bravely. "None O' your business." Was all that Wisteria said, for she was listening to the creature moving through the forest.
axel was done wandering about.
"well this is pointless" (thoughts)
Wisteria heard the creature stop, then she called out to it. "Who goes there?!?"
ooc: fixed account!
BIC: "its axel" yells axel.
OOC: Yay!
BIC: "Ah, Axel. Come here, my trusted Commander." Wisteria purred.
axel walked into the...camp?
"yes?"
OOC: Wisteria's just in a small clearing.
BIC: "Where is my army? Have they scattered? Tell me now!" Wisteria yowls.
"they're either dead of they ran" axel says.
"Slime-hearted cowards..." Wisteria growled. "Well, anyway, I have a captive. A female mouse. And I plan on makin' a new plan. Do you have any ideas that you want me to know about, Axel?"
"first plan, food" axel says.
Tully was helping out the scratched up warriors and feeding them food. She was thinking that they were getting low on food, they either had to pick up more food from the garden or try to scavenge some food. It was not a huge concern so she didn't mention it to the elders, they had enough on their mind. To impress Ashe she decided to go and find some food for the abbey herself. As she let herslef out on the opposite side of the Abbey where there was fighting she became alert ready for anything.
Tully was heading out into the woods coming very close to a clearing.
"Axel prove to me you're still loyal and capture the beast who's coming!" Wisteria hissed as she grabbed Juneberry in the sack and vanished into the forest.
OOC: UH OH! BIC:
Ashe was talking to the abbot **** private conversation**** and then did a quick role call... Someone was missing! Ashe was worried, more so when he fond out it was Tully! The squirrel decided to try and follow her. He found the unbarred gate, barred it, then launched himself from the parapit and into Mossflower.
OOC: I told the abbot and Mossfur what I was about to do
axel hid in a bush holding a net.
"(silence)"
*Ashe dashes through the trees silently*
Wisteria paced along the riverbank. Would Axel Bloodclaw capture the approaching creature? He'd better! The Wildcat thought harshly.
Ashe fropped out of an Elm tree to check to make sure he was following the right tracks... He was, then scrambled up an Ash (go figure) and continued pursuit.
ooc: well now i wait undetermined amount of time
OOC: Whoa! Rewind! You have to wait for Redwallgurl (Tully) to post!
OOC: teehee here
BIC:
Tully wandered thourgh the woods. A horrible feeling came upon her. She had wandered too far from the road and was lost!
She cried, "Anybeast out there?"
SInce Tully was used to the Abbey life she was bludingly into everything. Finally she tripped over a root. A sound came from the other isde of her....
Ashe faintly heard "Is any one there?" and started branching at a dangerous pace, knowing the wildcats would have to be AT LEAST half deaf to not have heard that!
Wisteria leaped from her hiding spot and tackled the squirrelmaid, pinning her to the ground with super-sharp claws.
Ashe came upon the scene just after Wisteria pounced, thinking quickly he leaped down behind the cat with a knife in his hand and pressed it too Wisteria's back, "Draw even a drop of blood, just a drop! And you will be deader than a doornail in a moment!" He hissed.
Wisteria grinned. "If you kill me, I kill the squirrelmaid! And the mousemaid will starve. So what do ye plan to do now, broom-tail?" She added, chuckling as if Ashe was a friend and not holding her life in his paws.
The Wildcat hoped Ashe would have heard the commotion and come soon.
axel jumped out of the bush holding his sword against ashe's neck.
"kill the boss an' you'll die."
Ashe kickked out back wards with all his might, sending Axel back into his bushes. Then planted his feet and did a sideways tackle (On Wisteria) and yelled, "Tully! Run!" (with the knife now being held back handed against Wisteria's throat, "You order that cat of yours to stay away from me and my friend or your throat is going to be letting a lot of sunshine in!" He yelled in her face.
"Axel," Wisteria croaked. "let the beasts go."
OOC: Redwallgurl was on here earlier but never finished the post! Now I gotta wait till she posts to do anything!
OOC: sorry i had to get reawdy for the dance
BIC:
Tully ran wildly in the direction she thought was the path. She had hesitated before she left worrying about Ashe. She looked over her shoulder as she ran unsure what to do next.
Ashe gave the wildcat a withering stare before he bolted off and dashed to catch up with Tully, "Over here! This way!"
Wisteria leaped up, "After them!" She hissed to Axel.
Following Ashe's voice she changed direction hearing her foes follow her close behind. Tully was breathing hard now and slowing down. She could almost see the path and ran with her last bit of hope.
Wisteria spotted Tully, and leaped! But her claws tore at nothing but air, and suddenly the Wildcat was falling. Then, everything went black.
The Wildcat opened her eyes slowly, they were filled with dirt and blood. For she had fallen into a ditch, and now lay mangled and broken. She lay twisted in an odd position, her back seemingly broken. Wisteria moaned in agony, her claws sheathing and unsheathing against her will.
OOC: oww that must hurt im waiting for danflorreguba
Ashe found Tully just as she approached the ditch, "Hurry! Jump across! Those vermin will soon be after us!" He yelled.
Tully did a wild leap and jumped over the ditch. She ran down the path to Redwall screaming as she went, "Open the gates its us!!!" Hopefully some beast heard her...
Ashe was right behind her and took a quick glance behind him... No vermin, "Tully, settle down. There's nobeast followin' us!"
"Axel, help m-me!" Wisteria yowled as loud as she could, which was quite loud. Her body slowly started to convulse in painful, slow jerks.
OOC: hi guys, I'm going to be down in Tennese until either Sunday or Saturday, Please don't Auto my characters..... When we get back to the Abbey we could just have some sort of rest period?
OOC: Cool, Tennese. I've never been out of stupid Michigan..... ANYWAY, yeah. We can do some sort of resting period.
BIC: "Axel.... Axel..." Wisteria croaked out her Commander's name, dried blood forming over her face.
OOC: Thanks, and if you gie I'm going to kill you!... Wait... that doesn't make any sense.... ;D
OOC: No, no it does not. ;D
OOC: That was the point! I never thought this would happen... We got off topic on a RP!
ooc: minecraft redwall server opened been building.
OOC: uhhhh.... That's kinda random.
ooc: why i havent been on often
OOC: Just post please... a BIC: Not an OOC:
Slowing down Tully went to the gates banging as she called less urgently open up. Without making eye contact with Ashe Tully said apologetically, " Sorry I ran out... I wanted to do something for the Abbey."
Ashe replied calmly, "I know what the feelin' is like miss, but next time... Please tell someone your intentions first!"
OOC: I'm leavin' now! I'll be back some time later in the weekend. If you guys have a rest period then just leave Ashe alone for now, if fighting beaks out again, Wisteria, you can tell how he gets sick or something but I WILL NOT have him killed! Thank you!
OOC: I won't, Wisteria can't get anywhere is her condition.
BIC: Black dots danced in front of Wisteria's vision. The pain was so awful and intense that her entire body had gone numb. Through the blackness covering her vision, the Wildcat slowly pulled herself toward the edge of the ditch, then took a rest. She continued again, now reaching the wall of the ditch. The pain returned, and it returned so great that Wisteria fell unconscious.
OOC: is anyone goin o open the doors for me please?!
OOC: You're a squirrel.... JUMP IT! BIC:
Ashe came bounding throught the trees behind Tully, got his momentum going, and procceded to launch himself ALL the way to the battlements! He descended the stairs as fast as was possible and opened the gate for Tully.
OOC: ;D
BIC:
Tully rushed in thanking the jumping squirrel and helped close the gates. A crowd of Redwallers were behind her and she was worried what punishment she might get.
OOC: Probably only a stern scolding....... and gettin your taiw choppedded offen!
;D BIC:
Ashe turned to Tully and asked simply if she was hurt.
OOC: i like my tail though
BIC:
Tully answered that she was fine while loking at the ground. She said thanks again and then went to go to the kitchens to see if she could help.
OOC: I was dibbun playin! ;D
OOC: i know! ;D
OOC: Youno do'a dat, mista sqwuiwel! Et inufults da DAB an' nows we's gonna gets yous!
BIC: Holker PoisonClaw clawed at everybeast within reach. He was waiting for several patrols to get back, bringing news of his daughter...
______
Juneberry was kicked aside when Wisteria was attacked, and now she crawled from the large gash that was made in the sack. "Hello? Anybeast there? Hello?" The pretty mousemaid walked to the river and drank her fill, then walked in the direction she thought was best.
______
"Well? What have you found out?" Holker snarled at a weasel Captain named Gunkear.
"Uh, well we found this mousey!" The weasel held up and unconscious Juneberry. "She was wandering through da woods when I found 'er. Oh... Greasle come 'ere!"
A fat rat tripped as he walked up to Holker. "I found Wisteria, she's hurt really bad, Chief. Not sure how ta save 'er."
"Take me to her, now!" The Wildcat Chief snarled.
______
The group of vermin, Juneberry, and Holker PoisonClaw arrived at the ditch. Wisteria moaned again, her tail-tip twitching. Holker knew there was only one thing to do. Only one thing that would give his daughter a chance. Redwall Abbey.
OOC: :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o How do you make a giant shocked smiley? BIC:
Ashe leaned against the wallgate for support, thus was how relieved he was that Tully had been brought back alive, "Does anyone know were Mossfur is?" He asked suddenly.
Mossfur the Fletch
Mossfur had heard what Ashe had said earliar, and figured there must have been some type of confrontation. He had launched himself from the battlements to a sycamore tree and was now branch bounding on the same branches Ashe had used to find Tully...
OOC: Hehehe, I dunno.
BIC: Juneberry sat dejectedly against the wooden bars of the cage. The vermin had been to busy trying to get Wisteria to the Abbey to really notice the mousemaid.
______
"Careful! Slow down, Gurden! I said slow down!" Holker PoisonClaw was watching the operation of his vermin, who were slowly, very slowly, getting Wisteria onto a stretcher. Turning, he grabbed a passing fox. "Flamegut! I want ye to take some 'O me best hunters an' find Axel Bloodclaw! Now!" FLamegut nodded and ran off quickly, not daring to say a word.
Holker smacked the head of Gurden, his temper mounting. If his creatures were so incompetent, then he would just go to Redwall himself!
Mossfur had arrived just in time to see Holker berate his subject, he had also witnessed the loading of Wisteria onto the stretcher, "Tsk! Tsk! Berating the ranks and shovin' em' around too? Fie on you sir, no honor in shaming a hordebeast for somethin' you can't do yourself!"
Holker whipped around, glaring at the (squirrel? Mouse? sorry I forgot). Suddenly his expression changed. "Do you know any Redwallers? Please... I need their help. My daughter...." Being nice sent hot spikes down the Wildcat, but he loved Wisteria dearly. "Please, then I swear we will leave."
OOC: Squirrel silly! ;D :D BIC:
Mossfur was stunned, "Bu..b..But," the squirrel spluttered, "I'll.. uh... see about it." And without further ado, Mossfur the SQUIRREL bounded off through the trees back to Redwall with the unbelievable news.
OOC: Ok. Squirrel. SQUIRREL. Got it.
BIC: Juneberry heard the SQUIRREL'S voice and sat up. Looking around, she saw the creature run away from the vermin. Sighing, she leaned back again.
______
Holker paced anxiously, watching his daughter as she twitched and moaned. Most of the vermin were quiet uncomfortable, shifting from foot-to-foot and muttering under their breath. Holker noticed this, and quickly sent them away. The Wildcat sincerely hoped that the SQUIRREL had not tricked him, or that beast would pay.
Mossfur arrived at Redwall about 3 min. later (he was in a big rush) and bounded across the grounds trying to find the abbot.
Holker yowled sadly as his daughter's breathing became shallow. She was not dead, but very close, it seemed.
______
Juneberry flinched, covering her ears. Were vermin supposed to have feelings? Holker PoisonClaw had strong feelings.... The mousemaid wondered why. And she also wondered if her family missed her...
OOC: WHO PLAY's THE ABBOT!
OOC: I will take the task upon myself!
BIC: Abbot Turbut was walking out of Great Hall and into the orchards when he saw Mossfur. "Hello, my child. What seems to be bothering you? Other than the fact that we have Wildcats in Mossflower holding a young mousemaid captive and her family is going insane. So, what's bothering you?" The otter asked.
Mossfur stopped, stooped with exhaustion, he finally righted himself and burst out, "That wildcat, poison Holker claw or whatever it was...*pant pant* Just asked me to come back asking for medical assitance! He claims he'll leave if we do this for him!"
Ashe had heard the pronouncement... "WHAT!?" he telled with a cross between surprise and indignation, "That evil mess wants help after he attacked this peaceful abbey!"
OOC: Poison Holker Claw. LOL
BIC: "My my..." Abbot Turbut pondered. "Did he seem sincere, Mossfur?"
Mossfur replied simply, "How can one tell with vermin?"
Ashe
The dark squirrel had an idea, "I say we should offer our help... IF Holker orders ALL of his troops away from.. His daughter right? Mossfur and I can check around and make sure they don't trick us, but Redwall can keep its record of hospitality."
The otter Abbot agreed. "Yes, a great idea Ashe! I will tell Sister Clementine to get ready for the injured Wildcat.
Mossfur bounded off to assemble an escort in case the vermin were just being sneeky. Ashe waxed his bowstring and sharpened his knife in readiness for the task ahead, he went to seek out Tully...
Tully was looking for Ashe too hoping she could make a better apology to him. SHe was shamed faced then but now she had what she had to say and was ready and willing to do anything he approved to help.
Ashe turned a corner in Great Hall and spotted the Forlorn squirrel... He called, "Tully! We could use your help for something! We are going to meet the wildcats and I would like you to come if you are willing and able!"
This was the perfect opportunity for Tully. She babled out, "Of course I would like to help! What can I do for you?! O and by the way I'm terribly-" stopping herself she thought of more important thigns. SHe had that nervous feeling again. "I-I mean what can I do for you?" she ended more confidently.
Holker paced back and forth. His vermin had gone off to cook their lunches and to gossip.
"Aye, I dun't think that Wisteria's goin' ter make it. Them Redwall folk can't do nothin' good fer us vermins!" A rat spat out.
I want you to come with Mossfur, a few selected squirrels, and Myself. We will be working around the vermin group making sure they don't try any funny business while our medics help out that one named Wisteria.... He stopped suddenly... Realizing he had said "our" instead of your... "Any way Tully, we could use your help... And I know full well what you were goin' ta' say, it isn't a problem that you want to help your Abbey. Just that you didn't tell any first." Ashe told Tully reasungly.
OOC: lol ;D
BIC:
Tully smiled back and replied," Sure I'll come. Although I dont have a weapon I'll try. Do I look fearsome enoguh?!" She growled putting her hands up.
Ashe smiled, "Bows are bein' handed out to the others in the squirrel squad, and fearsome is'nt as necesary as stealth here."
Hurrying to the garden Tully picked up a bow and got used to the grip she was ready and this time wouldn't run away.
Crunch! Holker released the rat's head. A weasel watched in horror as his friend's head was crushed under Holker's massive steel-enforced paw. "That'll teach yer." The Wildcat hissed, stalking back to his daughter.
The squirrel squad was heading out just before the healers did, "Tully! We're leaving! Good luck father abbot!" Ashe called. Mossfur Yelled, "Just give us a yell if there is a problem with Holker at the site! anf make sure you tell him to send his horde away!"
Juneberry slipped through the woodlands. She had taken a knife from one of the sleeping guards and cut through the branch bars of the cage. Now she was out and running. Breathing hard, she continued to run, searching for Redwall Abbey.
Mossfur had left early with two other squirrels when they heard some beast, a smaller sized one, crashing lightly through the shrubbery.
Every time she heard an unfamiliar noise, Juneberry let out a small scream. Slowing down, she tried to calm her nerves. "It's okay. I'm fine. I got away. Mum and Dad are waiting with Sister and Brother. I'm fine...."
Mossfur landed swiftly behind Juneberry with very little sound. The veteran squirrel warrior placed his hands over the frightened mouses mouth to cover the scream he knew would issue as he whispered in her ear, "We're friends mate! Don't yell please!"
Poor Juneberry fainted as soon as Mossfur touched her. Poor thing....
Mossfur slowly, with the help of his assistants, raised Juneberry into the midsection of an Alder tree, "This maid may know plans that this Holker has." he confided to his companions. He opened a small canteen of water and dumped a slight trickled on the unconcious mouse maid, hand ready to cover her mouth if she should scream.
Juneberry came-to spluttering and floundering as is she were drowning. "Ah! Wha-? Where are the vermin?!" The mouse was shaking with fright and looked ready to faint again.
"Whoah! Calm down little miss," Mossfur said quickly and soothingly, "You're with friends, we need to know some things though, and we need to know fast. Do you think you can help us?"
"What do you need to know?" June asked, calming down.
Mossfur blew a sigh of relief, she had calmed down, "We need to know if you over heard any plans, saw any vermin sneaking off, how was Holker feeling about his daughter? Tell us anything you think would be important." The champion of Redwall replied earnestly.
"Well..... Holker seems very sincere about his daughter. It looks like he really wants her better. I did overhear a few vermin talking, but then Holker crushed the head of one." Juneberry shuddered. "What do you plan to do?"
Mossfur digested the intel slowly, then replied, "I as well as some assorted companions, are going to be around the camp makeing sure the vermin don't try anything funny."
June nodded. "Is Redwall close to here? I want to see my family again... And I'm hungry."
Mossfur nodded to Fummre (one of the other squirrels), "She will take you to Redwall," He said plainly.
"Oh, thank you!" June gasped, running over to Fummre.
______
Meanwhile, Holker was getting agitated. Wisteria would not hold out much more. And there was no sign of the Redwallers. The Wildcat chief hoped, for the Redwallers sake, that they showed up soon.
Tully was keeping watch as they were getting the maid. She cold see that they had it under control. She could see he tension gathering at the vermin camp. Calling over to the ohers in a tense whisper she said,"C'mon friends we best hurry for Redwalls sake!"
Ashe was going to be watching the main group of Redwallers (they left right?) with Tully, Truden (male), Quint (male), and Flait (female), all were great archers, "Quint, can you get around to the left side of Holker? I've got the back, Tully, you and Truden have dead center, Flait?"
Flait: "Yeah, I know, right side."
Ashe: "Good, we have to split now, good luck mates!" and with that the black furred squirrel was off.
OOC: Whoever has the healers please hurry and get there!
OOC: I'll do that, also! ;D
Sister Alkejer ran into the vermin camp, which was now empty except for Holker and Wisteria.
"This is the injured one, I see." The mouse Sister said quietly, upon reaching the stretcher containing Holker's daughter.
The Wildcat Chief's eyes were full of worry as he replied. "Aye, please help her! She means everything to me!"
Sister Alkejer saw what he said was true, and quickly began working on Wisteria.
Ashe was behind Holker, and quite relieved that he was sincere... Hopefully the others in the squirrel squad were doing this well too.
Sister Alkejer stood back, nodding at her work. "She's asleep now, feelin' no pain. Her back and legs have been broken. I really don't think she'll ever walk again, I'm afraid to say, sir. But we have wonderful woodworkers who would be able to make her a wheelchair of some sort."
Holker smiled. "So she'll be OK? But, where will she go? I have vermin who I must take care of. Goin' ta teach 'em how ta farm, ye know. Wisteria can't make the journey, now."
Sister Alkejer smiled back. "I have an idea. Don't worry."
Ashe dropped down, incredulous, "You aren't goin' ta do what I think your going to do are you!?"
OOC: I just got this AWESOME idea for a follow up RP! (I'll PM you if you don't have one planned)
OOC: Go ahead and PM if you didn't already. Pease. :)
BIC: Sister Alkejer nodded. "Probably, Ashe. Do you remember the story of Veil the ferret? In the end, he gave his life for the one he loved as his mother. And with Sir Holker's heart, I think that Miss Wisteria will end up the same."
Ashe was simply stunned, he nodded his head slowly, turned to Holker and asked, "Do you know what she is thinkin?"
OOC: I'll send the PM now.
The confused Wildcat shook his head. "No, I don't.. Do I want to know?"
Ashe replied, "She's suggesting that Wisteria live... in redwall" The warrior choked out that last part.
Holker sighed, tears pouring down his cheeks. "Will I be able to visit her?"
The Sister nodded. "Of course! Shall we take her now? Oh, Ashe, did you swallow something?"
"My dignity maybe?" the black squirrel was still having a hard time believing the Redwallers would want to have a Wildcat in their home... Mossfur approached the group from a small stand of trees with Fedat (female) Pleef (male) and Struffe Cottontail. Mossfur strolled up to the sister and whispered, "Should we take the cat to Redwall now? Are you done?"
OOC: i forgot to tel you in a before post wehn ashe kicked meh i smacked my face into a branch and got knocked out XD
BIC: (a little late?) axel woke up from the knockout with a lump on his head. "whered everyone go?"
OOC: YIPPEE! He came back! Welcome to the world of the living! ;D
ooc: what next my brains frizzleddd
OOC: Axel, is that you? Are you a ghost? Speak, apparition! Lol, good ta have ya back!
BIC: "Yes, please take Wisteria VERY carefully. Holker, sir, come this way please. I'll introduce you to (I forgot the Abbot's name). " Sister Alkejer took Holker by the paw and led the dumbstruck creature toward Redwall.
______
Meanwhile, Holker's vermin were resting in the camp they set up on the plains. A gritty weasel was sitting with his companions, two evil-looking rats.
"Why's we got ta stay 'ere whiles 'olker gets ter get some Redwall vittles? Taint fair I tells ye." The weasel spat, watching his campfire burn. Scorchfur, one of the rats with very little fur, turned to his mate. "Aye, wot bad person says 'tis true, Killkja. We should takes over the army! We's could take Redwall fer ourselves!" Scorchfur nearly shouted his idea out loud.
His mate Killkja merely frowned, and turned back to bad person the weasel as he leaned in with more information.
There was a mass rustling in the trees, Mossfur slowly climbed down from an Elm and approached the vermin camp, stopping about half way to it he said, "Have you no respect for your leaers? He has gone to Parley with the Abbot." The squirrel was standing boldly forward, waiting for ANY of them to make a move...
axel wandered out of the forest (mossflower) and onto the plains.
OOC: i got a new computer :)
OOC: The Abbot's name is Turbut. Heh heh...
BIC: bad person the weasel gasped. "Whut, were did you come from!?!"
Mossfur looked at the speaker with disdain, "From my mother doofus! Were did you think I came from? The swamp you evidently just got out off?" He made a motion as if he was waving away a pesky smell.
Scorchfur shoved his mate in front of him. "Here!" he yelled," Take her!" Killkja gasped, shaking in fright. Seeing an opportunity, bad person jumped at Mossfur, a knife in his paw.
Mossfur had been waiting for this, he grabbed bad person's paw with a grip that would have crushed oak. He listened as the rat squealed, then pushed the rat back into the camp again, "That was a warning!" He yelled out above the murering, "Next one to make a move gets this!" His tailed raised like a flagpole in the traditional squirrel manner. 10 solid arrows came flying into the camp, all landing in the fire ring at different angles, "The camp is surrounded, as long as none of you makes any move to leave the camp, no one will be harmed. If your lord returns without having hurt anybeast in Redwall, you may all leave peacefully."
Killkja whipped around and shoved Scorchfur onto the dirt. "How dare ye?!? Did ye want me killed? Well now yer a loner, bumface." She spat, walking away.

Holker sat in the orchard, his eyes wide in wonder. Sister Alkejer pushed some apple and plum cordial toward the Wildcat, hoping he'd drink. Holker smiled in thanks, then emptied the beaker in one gulp. He silently chewed on a peach, still in awe of Redwall.
______
Wisteria sat up quickly, then yowled as pain shot up from her middle. When the pain receded, she looked around the room. She was in the infirmary, surrounded by red sandstone. Wisteria looked toward the left. She saw the pond through a window. She turned to the right. Wisteria drank the water and ate the bread and cheese that had been left for her. Suddenly, somebeast knocked on the door. The Wildcat froze as Abbot Turbut the otter walked into the room with three helpers.
"Dear Wisteria, I am Abbot Turbut of Redwall Abbey. By now you probably guessed you were here. Your father is in the orchard with Sister Alkejer, she is the creature who healed you. Though despite all of our efforts, you shall never walk again, I'm afraid. Dunjo Woodspike, our woodworker, has made a wheelchair for you. I hope you find it suitable for your needs."
Dunjo the hedgehog had carried the wheelchair up the stairs and set it down in the room. With the assistance of the helpers, and not a word from Wisteria, the Wildcat was set in the chair.
Axel wandered toward the abbey after he got bored searching for anyone
------------(a few minutes latr) axel knocked on the gate then shouted up at the walls
"hello, is anyone there?"
Ashe appeared on the walltop and replied, "What do you want CAT!" He was quite testy at the moment, and was wondering what a wildcat was doing roaming free... Then recognized this one as the one he had smacked earliar.
OOC: I'm leaving for a 16 day vacation tommorow, I don't think I'm going to be able to post here for the duration, please don't close the RP without me... I have something important to add at the end... Hope to post soon!
"lemme in i gived up on being evil.... not enough to eat being evil"
axel throws his sword and shield into the ditch near the abbey.
Wisteria turned the wheels of her wheelchair. "This is nice. Thank you all for being so kind to one as rotten as me." Abbot Turbut, ecstatic to hear Wisteria speak, nearly shouted. "No, thank you for coming to Redwall and abandoning your old evil life. We've never had a resident Wildcat before. But we will try our best to make you comfortable!"
"Ashe,"Dunjo Woodspike shouted from the ground. "what is it? Who're ye talkin' to?"
By this time Holker and Sister Alkejer walked up. Holker gasped and ran to his daughter, whom he hugged fiercely.
Tully had watched all the went on in disbelief. Hadn't wisteria been bad killing her almost. She sure woudn't get used to this anytime soon.
Wisteria wheeled herself away and to the edge of the Abbey pond. From her perch she saw the flashes of sunlight on the scales of a huge grayling. The mighty fish suddenly leaped from the water. The huge jaws closed down upon a butterfly, all in front of Wisteria's shocked eyes. As soon as the fish caught the butterfly, it dove back down until it was lost from view. The Wildcat shook her head to clear the small amount of shock the giant fish had caused.
Tully watched from the battlements looking at Wisterias shocked face. She was used to this if fishes were hungry then they would eat. She knew the Abbey way was to make friends but she thought to herself that it would be an exception with a wild cat.
OOC: am i gonna get let in ?
OOC: Sorry for not being on much! BIC:
Ashe was watching Tully, "You'd do best to watch your back while that Wildcat is here," he advised, "A vermin is a vermin, it's as simple as that. There are very few excceptions to this unwritten rule."
" I'm glad someone feels the same way," she said turning to find Ashe (of course she thinks), "I don't know if this move will help Redwall or endanger it more. We will have to be on alert everywhere...I won't be surprised if she charges us right when she's etter. You never know when vermin will strike."
"I know exactly what you mean my friend," He replied,"She's dangerous, though I hear she shouldn't be able to recover from this. It's supposed to be permenant..." The black squirrel gave his companion a quizeckle glance, "Is it wrong if I'm glad that that vermin is crippled? Is it fair to the cat?"
" Well I mean I guess we are not exactly firendly with vermin. We are used to killing them. Well at least you are. In Redwall we should always help creatures in need," looking at Ashe she thought a bit, " This is just a change for us I guess. If she is to live her life here we should accep her. We can't live hating her forever, it just isn't right. But then again.." Tully gazes off at the cat lost in thought.
Holker walked over to the door upon which Axel was pounding. "Who is it? Whaddya want?" He bellowed, attracting the attention of Abbot Turbut and Dunjo Woodspike.
"Who is it?" Dunjo asked.
"That's what I'm trying to find out." Holker replied, never taking his eyes off the door.
______
Wisteria rolled herself to the orchard. Once there, she gazed about in childish wonder at the colors of the fruits. She inhaled deeply, taking in all the amazing scents. And finally, she brought a peach to her mouth and took a bite. Wisteria was shocked when the juice dribbled down her chin, but her eyes widened in amazement at the fruit's flavor. Quickly, she ate the rest. Wisteria frowned suddenly. Couching, she spit out the peach pit.
"What kind of place is this?" The Wildcat said quietly, her voice quaking in wonder.
"Forgive and forget. I know, but that doesn't change the fact that she is dangerous... Even though she is in a wheelchair." Ashe was pondering something and looked like he was about to say, he had gone as far as to open his mouth about to say something... But he checked himself and decided to keep silent about it.
OOC: I'mmmmmmm Baaaaaaaaack!
OOC: Oh! Message meh! ;D
BIC:
Wisteria glanced up and saw the two squirrels talking, and glancing at her. Would she ever be accepted? She wondered silently, gazing out across the lawn. Her keep green eyes swept over the pond again, and a mouse Dibbun was waddling towards it. The Wildcat knew that the huge fish would snap it up, if the mousebabe was to wander into the water. Wisteria rolled her wheelchair as fast as she could toward the pond.
BANG! BANG! at the Abbey doors and someone yelled, "Redwallers I have returned to Mossflower from the north. It is I Maximus the Outcast! Your banishment cannot hold me back from my true home!!" waving his double-bladed sword at the Abbey banging on the door.
OOC: 1# I'm new. #2 this at Redwall abbey simultaneously
OOC: Were you accepted by Wisteria this late!?
Tully had seen the Dibbun babe in the water and heard the knock at the same time. She looked at Ashe and decided that saving a creatures life would be more important. She also saw Wisteria going over to the Dibbun babe and thought the worst. She dived in the water and scooped up the babe scolding it in one movement. Setting it upon the lawn she tried to dry it with her habit but the babe had already run off to play laughing gleefully. Life was a game to the little ones.
She went to the gate to try to let the beast in. She remebered the beast faintly and tried to unlock the big gate.
"I have returned Redwall I will have revenge!" yelled Maximus.
Stopping to open the gate adruptly she backed away and ran up to the battlements so she could see the newcomer. She called out to him,"There is no violence in Redwall so state your piece and I may allow you in!"
Ashe unshouldered and strung his bow, "If that piece a' rubish is actually tryin' to threaten this abbey I'm goin' to let a little daylight into that manners-les fiend!"
"I wish to speak with the Abbess!" yelled Max.
Ashe, with bow drawn and sighted yelled out, "Words that are fit enough for an Abbesses's ears are certainly fit for mine scoundrel!"
Then the mouse threw down his sword and said in a change of voice, "see i come to talk in peace!"
OOC: Ha, I know I should care that he didn't sign up, but since we're so close to ending, I don't.
BIC:
Wisteria sighed as the squirrelmaid grabbed the mousebabe. It would have been her chance to gain the Redwallers affection! She whipped around as she heard shouting. She pricked her ears and rolled towards the gate. Seeing the black squirrel, the Wildcat called out. "Hey, what's going on?"
"Oh really?!" The black squirrels blood was pumping madly, "Then how come you came banging and yelling about revenge!" Ashe was practically enraged, his eyes were slightly tainted with pink, "The vermin that are inside here are more mannered than you!"
OOC: Could you leave for now and return in the follow-up or something? This is really unbalacing the current story line.
"In the name of my ansetors Martin and Luke the warriors let me speak with your leader!!"
Tully ran up to the battlements to hear the new news and see the newbeast. Seeing Ahs ein this way was new to her she stared at him urgently worried.
Ashe whirled swiftly to whisper into Tully's ear, "Did Martin have children? And fetch the Abbess!"
'I heard that! no he did not have children but had brothers with children!'
Smiling a swift smile at Ashe she bounded off to find the Abess.
OOC: is she free play?
OOC: I assure you you didn't hear me! Ashe is a wondering-wise fighter/musician who knows how to handle sound! Kindly remove your remark!
Abbotsomethingsomethingsomething
The abbess? I think so.
Max laid against the Abbey walls sulking and murmmering...
Ok thatnks ;D
BIC;
Tully had found the Abbess putting the babes to bed. She grabbed her by the arm leading her to the battlementws as she quickly told the situatiuon to her. By the time she finshed the were at the battlements.
Ashe was pacing the battlements, attempting to get this rising rage under control. He saw the Abbess with great relief...
The Abbess glanced down at the outcast. She called down,"Well what do you want?"
Come down here and we will talk about the past if you know what i mean!
Tully looked at the Abbess. She called out boldly,"NO we will not go down there while we risk you attacking us. We can hear you perfectly fine over here. Say your piece."
"all I want is the Abbess dead!!!" as arrows flew out of the woods all aimed at the abbess.
Ashe was extremely high strung, and heard the concerted *twang*s of the bows as they were fired. He pushed the Abbess into Tully so they would counter balance, and took a crack shot at Maximous, "Coward! Scoundrel!!"
"REVENGE!!!! Sweet revenge!!!!" said Max as he ran back into the woods as more arrows wizzed by.
OOC: Please leave with that annoying, vengeful, ill-mannered, monstrosity before the RP is ruined! I don't want to be rude.... But this isn't helping this RP.
OOC: sorry just was bored. I'll make him lay low.
OOC: Thank you....... He might fit in with the sequal though..... You'll have to ask Wisteria.
ooc: well?! when am i gonna get let in a ma bored naow
Tully tried to stand up untangling herself from the Abbess. She peeked over the batttlements making sure everything is ok.
Ashe offered his paw appologetically to Tully (and/or the Abbess) to help them up, "I'm sorry for the hasty action, but it was neccesary."
Taking the proffered paw she hauled herself up. Speaking warmly and wiht a smile she said,"No problem Ashe. You did the right thing even if I got a bit scratched. It was very heroic!"
The pink in Ashe's eyes quickly switched to pink in his cheeks... This was quite an embarrasing moment for him.... And he had no clue what to say.
(More like I had no clue what to say!)
Wisteria rolled along, her eyes downcast. Everywhere she went, creatures avoided her. Holker was with Dunjo Woodspike, so he was no help. The Wildcat rolled over to the flower garden and gasped at the beauty of the petaled wonders. Carnations, daisies, roses, lavender and so many more flourished in the sun. Wisteria couldn't take her green eyes off of them!
Tully went down the battlements to see if she could be of assistance anywhere. As she skipped down the stairs she went to Wisteria to see what she was up to.
OOC: What is the Abbess doing? I need to tell her something (hint hint ;) [the hint was only for Redwallgurl])
Ooc: shes free play and on the battlements with you still ;D
Ashe had a short whispered conversation with the Abbess. Who ,in turn, came away from the talk looking slightly shocked and dissapointed...
Wisteria stiffened when she saw Tully coming towards her. The Wildcat pulled her cotton shawl tighter around her shoulders and watched an ant make a valiant trek across her footpaw.
Tully took a deep breath trying to get her nerves under control as she walked boldly over and said in a friendly voice," Do you need anything at all?"
Wisteria jumped, but quickly regained her nerves. "Who is the gardener? They do an absolutely lovely job."
"I don't exactly know, but all beasts here help eachother here," Tully said warmly looking over the orchards. SH eoften marveled in the beauty of her Abbey she was used to it now.
Wisteria nodded and softly smoothed the petals of a rose. "Ah, I see. I quite enjoy flowers, they're just so pretty!"
Ashe walked slowly down the steps (the Abbess went first of course) and procceded to make his way towards the abbey...
OOC: He's already in the Abbey, right?
BIC:
A sudden surge of anger took over and Wisteria crushed the delicate rose in her paw. "I hate this! I'll be in this stupid chair being gossiped about my entire life! Nobody knows! Ahh!" The young Wildcat struck out with her claws extended. Flower petals were speared and smothered in her rage. She would only be able to enjoy viewable things, she could never have any fun.
Hey Redwallers come here now," said a dark gruff voice banging on the door.
OOC: Haven't we been through enough! You already tryed killing the Abbess! A wrench was thrown in the RP plot........
OOC: dude she let me in and it's not that retarded vengeful mouse.
OOC: Precisely.... 1. We are just finishing 2. Wisteria accepted your mouse (for what reason I don't know) not your new character...
OOC: he is not a bad guy he is just in for a second just go with it he will be gone in 10 min I you stop arguing.
Tully backed away form the cat fear in her eyes, she was worried that she would end up like the flower. Trying to stay calm she said," W-wisteria don't wo-worry, R-Redwal wil try to make you welcome. An-any thing you need I-I'll tyr to be there f-for you."
I'm waiting Redwallers I've got something you might want!" said the voice again.
OOC: I'm in the Abbey now.
OOC: I didn't think he would make such a big difference in the ending plot.......
BIC:
Wisteria's strength sapped and she sighed, her muscled shoulders sagging. "I apologize for scaring you. It's just that the thought of being stuck in a chair my whole life.... Well it scares me beyond belief."
Ok so I guess you don't want to hear this Redwallers!" yelled the voice banging on the doors.
Tully understood the pain of the cat she looked smyphetically at ther. "Well," she started," Don't worry I am going to do anything you need, theres been many beasts stuck in chairs and they lived pretty fine."
OOC: Wisteria, how long until we can skip to dinner? That is when I make my move.
OOC: Hello? I'm in exsitence here!
OOC: 1. Yes, I see you are. Can somebeast just answer him and get that over with? Please? I'll give you a cookie!
2. We can do that now.
3. Let me clear this up. ABBOT TURBUT IS AN OTTER AND A MALE. Okay. All done.
BIC:
Wisteria looked at Tully, those green eyes piercing, and rolled over to where her father was motioning to her.
"Wisteria! Are you hungry, daughter?" Holker asked, excitement gleaming in his eyes.
"Yes, in fact I'm famished! Are we eating now?" She asked, following Holker and ABBOT Turbut as they walked into Great Hall.
BANG! BANG! BANG! Went the gates as a creature banged on the doors.
OOC: Oops, forgot about Mossfur! BIC:
Mossfur the Fletch walked up the wallstairs , and peering down at the creature he called out, "Who goes there? State your business here!" while keeping a wery eye out for trouble.
At the door of Redwall was a fox with a black robe and armed with a sythe. He had a cart with supplies and sacks in it. But some of the sacks were wiggling around. "I am Zanthar Deathhound and I come bearing wares that the Redwallers might like...."
Immediately, Mossfur, champion of Redwall, had Martin's sword at the fox's neck, "If those wiggling sacks are what I think they are, then you have signed your death warrant fox!" The warriors tone was dangerously low, and the squirrel was burrowing into this Zanthar with his eyes.
OOC: I thought you said this wasn't going to mess up the plot!
OOC: its not.
BIC: Well wa=hat do you think they are redwaller?!"
"Why don't you show me what they are? Or better yet..." With the skill of many seasons, the squirrel whirled the sword in a flshing arc, slicing open all the bags on the top of the pile, and had his sword back at the fox's neck.
Then some had rats come out and some had shrews and some had dead bodies. "You idiot!!" as the living creatures ran away. "I'm a bounty hunter and I thought you might want some creatures to put on trial for harming the abbey. Like this young mouse" as he pulled out the mouse that tried to kill the abbess. "he is asleep and will wake up later."
OOC: Wisteria, can we please pretend this didn't happen and go to dinner? Please!?
OOC: hey man he just wants to talk. a woodlander has to make a living. dude im making it realistic
OOC: Realistic!! (sorry for the shouting) but when was there ever bounty hunting in Redwall? And what are we supposed to pay you? And what would we do with the mouse?
OOC:well number one he wants money number two theres always a first time number three do what you want to him for atempting to kill your abbess!!!1
OOC: ABBOT! THERE IS NO ABBESS! Could you please be just a simple traveler? That would make everything so much easier and you can change it up in the next RP. Oh yeah, dinner is served!
BIC:
Wisteria picked at some herb bread. Where was the meat? Did all these creatures just eat plants? "How...Peculiar." She muttered, eating a slice of an apple.
ABBOT Turbut stood up slowly. After waiting patiently for the diners attention he informed the assembly of the matters at hand, "Redwallers, Woodlanders, friends all. Hear me now as Abbot of Redwall," The otter paused to clear his throat, "I ask you for something that may take some work, I want you to accept our guest, it is not our or her choice that she must stay hear. As Abbot of Redwall I would like to be the first to say, Welcome to our Abbey Wisteria."...
Wisteria felt her cheeks get hot as many, many pairs of eyes started at her. "I-Thank you, Abbot. I only have one concern. I have seen a huge fish in the pond, and it may pose a threat to little ones. It seems very aggressive."
OOC, ok fine he is here for shelter. but he still is a bounty hunter.
The Abbot smiled, "The fish hear often appear to be aggressive, but we rarely have incidents," The Abbots' smile faded as he went on to his other announcement, "Ashe Blackflight has stated to me that he plans on leaving at dawn tommorow. As he said "The trouble at this Abbey is over, and I feel it best to move on." I have already tried to persuade him to stay longer but he said he was already decided. He promised me he would drop in some time in the future."
Zanthar sat at a table by himself listening to the abbot speak.
OOC: Wisteria is still considering letting you use Zanthar Abbotalf.
(modified)
Oh my gosh what?
OOC: OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok im done
Tully was dumbfounded by this statement. She had lost her appetite. Running to the domitries she stayed there for the rest of the night crying her borken heart out.
Ashe was already in the infirmary (were he had stayed during his visit) and was finishing packing up when he heard something in the dormitory. He placed his ear against the (wall/floor) and heard his friend. He stood up slowly and sadly, shook his head regretfully, and went to his temporary bed to sleep till an hour before dawn...
Tully coudn't sleep all night thinking of her dilema. She thought up a solution...
That night Zanthar was wondering aroun the abbey all night.
OOC: Wisteria hasn't aacepted him yet! You should know that full well.
OOC: .................
OOC: I.... I don't remember what I said about Zanthar, but could you wait to bring him in until the next RP? This one will be done soon. No hard feelings, right? ;)
BIC:
Wisteria wheeled away from the food and festivities. She was tired and lonely. She found herself at the garden, where she found joy. Blue roses, very pretty, she thought. "Wait, blue roses? Odd." She whispered in the oncoming twilight. She went on, naming every kind of flower there was.
OOC: Oh I don't care. He can be in the next one.
OOC: how long till morning?
OOC: so when are you guys doing the next one?
As soon as it is morning and some events happen...
OOC: SO SO SO SO SORRY! Let's say night has fallen, and now the sun is just barely peeking over the horizon.
BIC:
Holker was deeply concerned. His daighter had been acting... weird. He watched from the dormitory window as Wisteria caressed a blue rose in her scarred paw, the flower reflected almost perfectly in her green eyes. She hadn't gone to bed, and had been in the garden all night.
TUlly had woken up early to see Ashe leave. She wante dot say goodbye and had no more tears left.
Ashe was trotting down the stairs at that moment, he stopped to say farewell to the friar and his helpers who, in the graciousness of Redwall hospitality, filled a haversack with the best of Redwall traveling vittles (love that word ;D). The black squirrel turned to gaze on the great tapestry one more time. Then sadly left Cavern Hole and exited the Abbey building.
Wisteria called out to Ashe from the garden. "Hey, squirrel!"
Ashe turned, and with great effort was able to reply somewhat cordially, "Good day and bye. I may yet happen upon this abbey in the future."
Tully was already waiting at the gate fearing she would break into tears any moment.
There were only a few assorted Redwallers up at this time, Mossfur, Abbot Turbut, Skipper (if there is one) and a few who he had worked with during his short stay, "Good bye my friends, I hope to be around this area again sometime." the black squirrel nodded his head in a slight bow to his friends.
Tully stepped out to Ashe asking in a choked voice,"Ashe wouldn't you like to live here instead of wandering? You are always welcome here! I couldn't imagine living without you."
Wisteria bared her teeth in a smile/grimace. "That squirrel had a good idea! But... If I left, I would never survive." She whispered to herself.
Ashes' fur had crawled so bad that his skin had felt it the moment he noticed Tully stepping up.
,"Ashe wouldn't you like to live here instead of wandering? You are always welcome here! I couldn't imagine living without you."
His very body practically locked right up! His tail was flagstaffed, his eyes contracted, ears stood stifly out behind... ,"D..did she just... ASK him to stay!?!" he thought, heart pounding, head racing. The haversack fell from his nerveless grip. Turning stiffly to Tully he forced out exactly what he was thinking, "D... Did you just... Ask, me to stay," the squirrels' head was whirling at speeds he couldn't comprehend.
"yes," Tully said her face hopeful tears running unashamedly down her face.
Hehe..." laughed Zanthar sitting at the bottom of the walls sharpening his sythe.
For one of the first times in his life... Ashe Blackflight, Wanderer of the south, terror of all vermin, phantom of the trees, slayer of those he opposed.... Cried. It was silent, but there were tears in evidence, the black squirrel was speechless, another uncommon occurance..... He cleared his throat and sniffed before finally answering, "I... don't know what to say."
OOC: Wisteria, could you control the other characters present? (like the abbot)
Seriously Abbot? Do I need to have Mossfur kill you! this is not the time or the place for that fiend!
Tully too kAshes hand and said,"then mayb say yes."
Wisteria flicked her ears towards the comotion at the gate. Quietly, she rolled up. Nobody noticed her as a crowd started to gather.
Abbot Turbut smiled and clapped Ashe on the back. "Well, you're certainly welcome here! Redwall welcomes you with open arms and open hearts, my friend."
OOC: sorry bro it's just funny.
BIC: "Weak fighter..." wispered Zanthar to himself.
OOC: If Ashe fought Zanthar, the black FOX would be lying on the ground for the worms to feed on. ;) BIC:
Ashe was incredulous, "They actually want me to stay!" he thought, almost out loud... Just barely holding back heavier tears, the veteran and champion of wandering, ceased to be a wanderer from that exact moment. Turning his attention to Tully, and as if if it was something confidential, he whispered into her ear, "You know," and after a long pause,"I think I'd like that."
Smiling Tully buried her shoulder s she hugged Ashe. She was so happy-he was staying!
OOC: Zanthar is and undead beast dude. He is leaning on the walls from the out side. I'm not gonna mess with your stuff.
OOC: I doubt Wisteria likes the idea of a zombie in her RP BIC:
"Uh, don't you think you should tell the others what I said," Ashe said to Tully in embarrassment.
"that's a good idea," said Tully wiping her eyes. She announced to the gathered beasts," Ashe is staying at Redwall!"
OOC: I think I'll let Wisteria do their reaction to the news.
OOC: Hehehe.....
BIC: The Redwallers booed and shouted in anger. HA! Kidding! ;)
Real BIC:
Abbot Turbut shouted with joy along with the rest of Redwall. Cheers and back-slapping went around.
I hate it when people are happy without somebeast dieing..." said Zanthar leaving the abbey.
OOC: in your sequel though... He'll be back!

"Just Kidding" (sarcastic voice) :D
You nearly gave me a heart attack! BIC:
If anybeast had asked Ashe to describe what he had felt right then. He would never be able to answer, the joy he felt was boundless, squeezing more fresh tears of happiness, he didn't care. He felt at home for the first time, he felt wanted, cared about. He didn't need a stone exterior anymore, he could let go and be happy, he could enjoy... The no-longer-wandering squirrel hugged Tully right back... With no self-consciousness.
Zanthar looked at the abbey from the top of a tree and said,
"Redwall.. I'll be back...."
Wisteria frowned upon the Redwallers reaction. This squirrel would obviously keep on eye on her, making her life all the more difficult.
Zanthar watched them in the abbey. HE could see every thing they did. He clrawed down the tree and ran to toward the port city of Agutrot.
Ashe whispered, half to himself, half to Tully, "I never....never thought this day would come!" the black squirrel had a home! Somewhere he KNEW, not just FELT, he KNEW he was welcome.
OOC: Not sure how to finish this scene (maybe good enough?) But could we possibly (after this scene is finsihed) skip to the Fall season naming feast? Or at least get there by some means? (maybe have some minor things happen...
OOC: Yeah, let's skip through summer, when you're done, of course.
OOC: Ending here just doesn't QUITE cut it for an end....
OOC: I know, it really wouldn't. But I know what would, PM me if ya want and I'll tell you.
OOC: So uh.... When are we finishing this scene?
OOC: I fixed it TWICE.
BIC:
The summer season left, and was replaced by the cool fall. Everybeast sat at tables in the orchard, wating for Abbot Turbut to announce the feast, though food and drink was already on the table. "Greetings, my friends. I have picked Ashe, to name the season, for he is the newest beast to live here at Redwall!" The otter Abbot declared.
OOC: Weren't we already in summer? And I thought we were ending at the naming feast in Fall!
(Modified) I'll post my response some time later.... Probably a bit later because I have to ready my materials.
OOC: materials? are you guys planning osmething?
OOC: No, I just need to find the time to write something ;D
(Modified) Wish me luck, I'm going to try to make this great... *Prays* BIC:
As Ashe was hustled to the front, the squirrel attempted to get his surprise under control... He hadn't expected this.... What would be a fitting name for the Fall? The black beast slowly let his gaze rove over the present creatures.... When he, almost by fate itself, singled out Wisteria and locked his eyes on her (preferably without her noticing) and with a cough and a clearing of the throat he said in a laid-back, yet resonating voice,"Thank you Father Abbot, I'm not sure why you would pick me over some of your more seasoned Redwallers... But I think I have a name that should fit rather well......," Ashe was a little nervous, what if they took it the wrong way? What if it didn't match up? Oh well,"I'd like to call this Autumn... The Fall of the friendly Wildcat."
OOC: I was going to say more, but it's up to Wisteria to post the reaction... She's better at it.
OOC: Ha, yeah right.
BIC:
Wisteria gasped in reaction with many other Redwallers. A few frowned and crossed their arms, while the rest just started at the Wildcat in amazement. "Are you quite sure, Ashe?" A vole asked, scowling at Wisteria.
A Guosim shrew that was nearby said, "I second that motion!"
Tully was fine by the idea and didnt show much emotion.
"Is there something wrong? Is she not friendly? Is she not a wildcat? The name is mearly the statement of a fact that has taken me far to long to realize myself." And with a smile to Wisteria he finished,"I would like to ask you to forgive me for my coldness Wisteria."
The Wildcat shut her open mouth and nodded slowly. "I- I forgive you. And I ask for you all to forgive me and my...attitude."
OOC: Redwallgurl, I need help! I can't figure out how to reply! ::)
OOC: say that you forgive her!
OOC: But that's not my place, that was for the entire crowd to answer.
OOC: speak for the crowd! Ill do it if you want!
OOC: Please let someone (say Wisteria) that knows a little bit more about RPing than you do it. (You use a much different type of RP'ing than the rest of us)
OOC:I don't know if that was an insult or complement. Its probably an insult coming from you.
OOC: It was neither, I was stating that I wanted someone with more experience in this type of RPing to do the reply. You bring a whole different kind of RPing to the table.
OOC: we are not getting fisty here ok! chill its just a story
BIC:
Tully looked at the cat and said answering for all," We should be forgiving you, we've treated you horribly. I hope you accept our apology."
OOC: Breath a deep breath in! Breath a deep breath out! Celebrate and shake hands all about! BIC:
Ashe gave a thankful glance to Tully. He didn't feel like he should be the one to answer Wisterias' question.
Mossfur (forgot all about him! Shame on me! :D)
The squirrel champion of Redwall was sitting close to the Wildcat and held out his hand (for a shake),"You're forgiven by me, and I hope that we can all get along with each other better in the future."
OOC: P.S. The OOC: Above was meant to laugh at, not get angry about. ;)
OOC: ok then
OOC: Whoa, that got a tiny bit tense.
BIC:
Wisteria gently shook the squirrel's paw. "I forgive you. I-I-'m very sorry. I'll be on my best behavior."
OOC: I'm actually starting to get used to it lol. I wrote the sequal to "In Dark of Night"! Trying to figure out how to worm it in here.
OOC: Could I have a refreser? My brain's all slow right now. :P
OOC: rotfl. We are at the feast, we all exchanged dramatic apologies. ;)
OOC: Yeah, uh ok. Still pretty slow. :P
OOC: so is this it?
OOC: I think so, it seems like a good way to end. Unless you have something else in mind, Dan/Andrew/Ashe.
OOC: I figure we should finish the feast... AMybe end right in the middle of it... I wrote "Wanderings End/In Light of Day" Finally, and wanted to have Ashe sing it before we finished... Maybe we could end right after that?
OOC: sure and do you want to put a kinda recorder thing at the end?
OOC: Sounds good!
BIC:
Wisteria smiled as she took a bite of a salad, and strangely, she liked it! She could get used to no longer eating meat. She glanced at Ashe and Tully.
Ashe walked up slowly to Abbot Turbut and asked, "Umm.. Father abbot? Could I borrow the crowds attention for a moment?"
Tully was helping herself to some of the moles deeper' n 'ever turnip and beetroot pie. SHe always liked to try something new. Taking a quick drink from her cup of strawberry cordial she smiled. Everything was perfect finally.
Abbot Turbut nodded. "Of course, Ashe. Attention, Redwallers!" The crowd quieted unexpectedly quickly. "Now, go ahead Ashe." Wisteria watched the black squirrel warrior with curiosity.
Ashe almost stepped back at the sudden quiet, but was able to maintain his position,"My friends.. Well... I'm not a very good speaker, so I'll have to cut this short, but if you can recall, you might remember a song I sang when I had just arrived," He smiled at let out a slight chuckle as he continued," On a dare from Tully that is." The black squirrel grew serious again, "I sang a common wanderers song called "In dark of Night" more commonly refered to as "A Wanderers' Tale. I come before you this night with a song that was just composed on the lawns of this abbey not 2 weeks back... One that completes the unfinished narative of the last.. So here it goes."
A sweet tenor rang from the rafters, a voice full with new hope, one that was joyful. And it sang a song called "In Mornings' Light" otherwise known as "wanderings' End."
I used to be one of them
Journeying with out cease
I had been condemend
Having no chance of release
As the sun rises above the hills
Fading beauty flares anew
My craving is now still
My wishing has come true!
But things have changed
Fate has reversed
And although I have much ranged
I'm now no longer cursed!
As the sun rises above the hills
Fading beauty flares anew
My craving is now still
My wishing has come true!
I the wanderer have quit
Paths I no longer tread
I a fire lit
One that will end the dread
As the sun rises above the hills
Fading beauty flares anew
My craving is now still
My wishing has come true!
A home I've found
One were I need not leave
It is true and sound
Oh I shall never concieve
As the sun rises above the hills
Fading beauty flares anew
My craving is now still
My wishing has come true!
Concieve why I ever left a home
Or why I plodded on and on
Now I'm free to stretch in the Loam
I'm am at Wanderings' end my friend
As the sun rises above the hills
Fading beauty flares anew
My craving is now still
My wishing has come true!
OOC: AWESOME!!!!!!!!
BIC:
Wisteria erupted with the rest of the Redwallers as she cheered and clapped and shouted and patted Ashe on the back.
OOC: that was really good Andrew!
BIC:
Tully was up immediatly clapping with the rest trying to push through the crowd to Ashe. He was a great singer wander or not.
OOC: Fixed, wow that was stupid.
BIC: Wisteria, seeing Tully struggle to get through the crowd, grabbed the squirrelmaid and threw her toward Ashe with astounding strength and wheeled toward the back of the room.
"Whew!" said Tully as she flew through the air smiling her thanks at Wisteria. Finally getting close enough she aid,"Good job Ashe!"
The black squirrel was joyful... So much so that his new found emotion squeezed out a single drop of wetness from his eyes, "It's a great thing to be surrounded by friends."
OOC: I thought Wisteria was lame? (as in can't walk)
OOC: *Smacks face, then shoves myself under a lake*
OOC: :D *whew* I thought for a moment that we wouldn't have the awesome sequal I've been dieing waiting for! ;D
OOC: *Eye twitches*
OOC: I just got a strange un-nerving feeling. ???
OOC: Ah hahahah! *Sighs* I was just being weird. You're welcome. :P
OOC: lets just say i jumped then
OOC: That works! Should we end here? Or does Andrew still have an ending idea?
OOC: I think I'm good... Though you might want to end with a narrator type post :)
OOC: Narrator type post?!?! WHAT SHOULD I DO!?!?!?
OOC: Like at the end of a movie where the camera starts to back up and the narrator rambles on about "Happily ever after."
OOC: OH, Sorry, still slow. :P
Everything was good and peaceful for the time being, and we leave our creatures at a lunch picinic in the orchard. And they lived happily ever after, until next time...
Whoo hoo! We're done! Thank you everybody who participated in this RP! My first RP was wonderful!
OOC: I got a bit worried when you said happily ever after..... Until you said until next time. *whew* :D When do you start the sequal!? :)
OOC: Not sure... We should probably plan it out a bit before anything else.
OOC: i wanna be in your seqeul! Please!
Of course you can! After me and Andrew set up the plot, I'll put up the sequel.
OOC: ok thx
