Thrax Blueblade is a mongoose. Brief version of his backstory:
Spoiler

He grew up in a far away land, got lost at sea, and eventually wound up on the coast south of Salamandastron. Originally he fell in with a drifting pack of vermin where he quickly gained their respect with his lightning fast reflexes, skill at dagger throwing, and a gift for strategy. But he didn't like the vermin lifestyle. He left the vermin and struck out on his own, not yet sure what to do with his new life in Mossflower...

Title: Re: Redwall After All is Said and Done
Post by: The Skarzs on February 13, 2015, 03:30:08 PM
Wow; that really has a lot of symbolism in it. It shows how Redwall did withstand the ravages of time, but all the same, time passes on with its advancements, sciences, and the fading of the past. Even without the detail found in other works, it is still a piece of art. Well done sir.

On another note, welcome to the forum, pacificmaelstrom! If you make a post in the Introduction Topic in the Front Lawns, the other members will be able to more properly greet you.

I LOVE THAT PICTURE! It tells me that Redwall never fell, and that while creatures may not live there anymore, it's gates are still open to those who pass by. It tells me that there came a time where creatures didn't have to live behind walls anymore, and that while the world around Mossflower evolved with time, good beasts kept Redwall just the way it is :)

Tell me any details you want included, (Animal, visual characteristics, clothes, weapons, setting and surroundings.) the rest I will make up. I can do humans as well as animals.

HOW TO DRAW

I would personally recommend taking an art class; while I didn't learn much from it, it was a good review of techniques, and I got some awesome drawing pencils that improved my shading and stuff.

Ok Eulaliaaa!, you're in.

Wings? I *can* do wings, no problem, but Im really curious as to how she got them. Are these mechanical wings, or more like angel wings?
Title: Re: Pacificmaelstrom's Art + Drawing Tutorials
Post by: Eulaliaaa! on February 15, 2015, 04:04:12 PM
Angel wings, covered in feathers. I'm not sure how she got them, I made a roleplay called The War for an Abbey' s Ruins, it sort of explains there. And I'm just crazy about the idea of having wings (I'm weird, I know).  :)

Just finished reading the roll play so far. That is a great crossover idea! So she is a genetic experiment or something, that makes sense.
Questions:
I am guessing the animals are human sized, correct?
I love scifi, so I might do a few other sketches related to TWFAAR if you dont mind.

Doing a study of the winged fox idea. Angel wings themselves are not physiologically possible because there is no place for flight muscles (I can do it anyway if you want) but here is what a more realistic take would look like, since this is more sci-fi themed RP.

I quite like how you did his chestplate in 4, although I was thinking maybe without a symbol engraved on the chestplate, and with no cape sticking up in the back. Number 7 is very nice, although I was thinking maybe a saber without a hand(paw?)-guard. Sorry that I'm so particular.  :P

Your art is so amazing!! I love your detailed drawing tutorials, They really help! I have recently fallen off of a 10-ish foot slide and broken my right arm (I am right-handed) So I realize how much free time I have now since I can't do any of my sports I do, I also can't go biking/Hiking and stuff like that. I'm not even allowed to run  :-\. But I have read your tutorials thoroughly and decided to try drawing. Now you may be wondering why a right-handed guy that broke his right hand is trying to draw left-handed, but I am a bit ambidextrous (Only a very small amount, I can't write or anything  :P).  So my drawing are very messy, but they turned out acceptable for drawing with my left hand due to your lessons  ;). I'll see if I can upload them and get some feedback from you!  ;D. Thanks!
