@Jarky Thistlebrush, thank you so much for being a part of this community, you have inspired me, and made me laugh too many times to count, and your randomly terrifying-ness is both amusing and slightly unsettling. Your art is amazing, and seeing your drawings helped me a lot, and I really look up to you, and I am very grateful you came back so I could get to know you better. :)

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.
