Already two years have passed(one for me). How time flies: it seems like yesterday since I posted for the first time.
Some of my favorite times was role-playing with AbbotAlf0805 and co. It was a great time. I hope to see more of that in the third year of the forum.
Some of my highlights would be the humour of the members here,you guys are really fun!
My favourite memories, hmmm... I agree with Lutra, the April Fools pranks were way too much fun. I also think the Death-defying Beaver invasion of a year and a bit ago was very memorable, as well as every single round of Overlord's Orders.
Thanks everyone for making this such a great place! Here's hoping for many more joyous years to come!
Mmm, I seriously can't choose a favourite moment on here. Ever since I joined last year (exactly a year! Wow!), it's just been a wonderful ride. I think the closest I'd come to a favourite moment would be when I was introduced to roleplaying. I mean, those first couple of months doing RPs like The Hero of Redwall and The Outcasts were awesome! And the one with the mods all playing as human-turned-animal characters was very fun, too. ;D We should revive that at some point!

:P You can't re-pull the wool over MY eyes twice like that! The only time you had me was for about the first 20 seconds that I saw it. Last years was the one that had me worried for awhile. ::)
I've had several nice memorys! Playing goofy games, discussing the Redwall books, and, lets not forget, the April Fool joke! Now that was a great 'un! :D

This thread is stirring some memories. I have to agree with Lutra and Daniel-the April Fools jokes have been great fun both planning and doing. And those days of fighting death-defying beavers-that's been quite awhile since its heyday now. And of course I've enjoyed Overlord's Orders rounds on this forum. As far as other forum games go, it was a lot of fun to play the 'count as high as you can' game with all the ever-shifting rules, especially when James Gryphon added in his new thoughts and we could all develop how we thought best to play. Not that we still don't do all of that.
It was a cramped little board at first before we ever expanded it, and we had that Papyrus font to try and read. We've added all sorts of new boards, in fact, to better provide the forum to grow and organize.
And I now remember my stoves. I don't think I'll bother to link them, I have no idea what state they're in, or why I ever wrote them. But I suppose nuclear fines in Chico combined with stoves battling death-defying beavers and working with grilled cheese sandwiches sort of demanded a silly, short of stove adventure series, right? May as well have, anyway...
So, here's to another good year of good discussion, roleplay, fun and friends!

There's not many memories you can have in just a few days but I guess so far I've really enjoyed how welcoming everyone was. There seems to be a lot of great people on this forum.

My best memories was starting to RP, and writing fanfictions.
OH MY GOSH! THE DEATH DEFYING BEAVERS! THANK YOU HEAD! He started that whole trend, didn't he? I loved those guys....and still keep up communications.....the attack is coming.....it may be many years from now, however.....sleep in fear.
Also, thanks for posting that link Daniel....I just wasted half an hour reviewing our former attacks on stoves and oranges...Good thing I have an extra half hour before I have to head into work today.
Absolutely loved it when the vermin took over Redwall. As I recall the Death Defying beavers were still trying to hold their territories with their flying bulldozers when at that time. So, I was playing beaver ally on one thread and terrified Redwaller on another. Those were the days.....
Then there was the first Roleplay tournament. That was pretty awesome (until towards the end when everyone was super confused and peoplekept dropping out...)
Totally loving the current tournament, btw.
Then there were the forum wars. Remember Nightfire playing the bloodwrath pacifist? I see someone revived those recently. I might just need to jump in there again.

I've really enjoyed being on the forum its been somewhere where I can post my stories and talk and play games with other members it is now the highlight of my day :-* ;D
There are so many memories on here but I really liked dueling in the Roleplay Tournament. Since it was my first I really enjoyed it!

I remember when I tried to start something similar to the Death Defying Beavers. It was the Chocolate Muffin of Death, where if you ate it, you died and came back to haunt the other members and try to shove muffins down their throat. ;D The idea didn't last very long, but it was still fun to do.

Forum anniversary... Happy B-day, forum! And as for my favorite moment, wow, there's so many! I missed both April Fool's day pranks :(, but I really enjoy roleplaying, and the "Last Post Wins" thread is just about the most pointless, annoying, stupid, and awesome thing ever. And just the fact that everyone here has such a great sense of humor.

Hm....so they haven't told you yet? I've been working with both the weasels and the beavers on a possible alliance. The beavers simply want to see the end of freedom in Mossflower and beyond. The weasels could secure the triumph of evil over good! However, after the last war the weasels are wary of joining forces with the beavers. I do believe we're making progress, though!

Gotta say my favorite times here have been watching people's writing improve so much in the RP section. We are now on our third tournament and WOW! Improvement all over the place. I love to see people enjoy writing and working on their writing skills. To those of you in the tournaments and those of you who RP here, cheers for awesome memories!
