A Blinkin' War

The squirrel was engaged in fierce battle with a ferret, a stoat and three weasels. It was getting a bit much, with only one knife pitted against the variety of longer reach weapons, dodging the stoat's spear thrust, she grabbed the weapon's shaft and yanked it from his reach, shoving the haft into his head with a solid crack. Ducking to avoid one of the weasels, she deposited her knife in his chest and pushed past, disengaging with vermin horde by grabbing an overhead branch and swinging up, lashing out with a footpaw as she went passed, then pausing to regain her breath, surveying the battle scene in search of some likely allies.

The penguin kicks out at the sandwich- defying it with every blow, he tackles the sandwich, gobbling it up triumphantly!

[Sebias of Redwall]

The otter, who was named Sebias, smacked over a vermin with his rudder and grabbed the fallen foe's axe. "For Freedom and Mossflower!" he bellowed.
