At Redwall Abbey it was the spring of The Golden Barrie and all was in full swing. The maids were getting ready for the feast while the frair cooked the food. The abbot was greeting woodlanders at the gate. But in Mossflower woods evil was brewing. In the ruins of Castle Marl was raised a new castle. It was called Castle Hound. In it ruled Lord Zanthar Deathhound. His fortress was very secret and he was about to luanch an assault against Mossflower...
Davidari the Warrior walked south towards the legendary Redwall Abbey. His ancestors were great friends of the warriors of Redwall. He walked through the woods and saw the abbey. He whiped some sweat off his brow and said,
"I'm finaly here.."
Far away at Salamandastron, HolmOak the hare was taking tea up to Lord Moonstripe who ruled the mountain.
Shadow Wildfire was walking on the battlements, enjoying the cool breeze. She heard some Dibbuns playing a game, and she was about to join them when she heard it. She didn't know what the sound was, but her keen ears picked up something coming from outside the abbey. She looked and saw a mouse. "Who goes there?"
Davidari stood at the gate not saying a word.
"Isn't it a beautiful summer day?" Lord Moonstripe asked HolmOak.
"Indeed me lord, did you know that we found a dead sea rat on the beach."
He took a deep breath and, "I am Davidari of the North!" said Davidari to the Redwaller.
"And he (the sea rat) had a salamandastron sword." said HolmOak
"What!? Nobody stole a Salamandastron sword since Zanthar Deathhound and his horde roamed Mossflower!"
"That's what I said to the hares that found him, but it was there sure enough." said HolmOak
"That can only mean... No, it can't be!"
"That he is back, if you want I can have a my patrol out in one hour." said HolmOak
"No need to. Go and tell Galdoran to warn the Redwallers!"
"Permission to go with him me lord."
"Are you a good runner?"
"Top hole."
While this talk was going on there was another beast in the room. Dreak, the personal spy of Zanthar, was listening.
"Permission granted! Dismissed!"
Dreak turned to leave and bumped into a hare that walked in.
"FERRET!" yelled the hare.
Moonstripe picked up his sword and ran to the door.
Dreak stabbed the hare in the chest and ran down the hall.
"I will get him your lord ship." said HolmOak
Dreak looked behind him and ran for his life. There was badger lord and the boxing champoin of the long patrol after him.
Moonstripe bolted out after the ferret. Crumbling the door to pieces.
"Eulalia!" said HolmOak
Dreak looked behind him and saw them. he turned around and stopped. It was a dead end!
"We have you now, tell who you are before we give to the fishes." said HolmOak
Dreak whipped out his rapier and did a nifty Jimanesse style flip in the air and swung down on HolmOak.
But HolmOak saw it coming and kicked Dreak's rapier out of his hand.
He whipped out the other one and swung at his feet.
"yeeee yow!!!!!!!!! I think the blighter took my leg off." said HolmOak.
Hehe.." chuckled Dreak as he bolted down the other hall.
"What is your purpose at the Abbey, Davidari?" Shadow thought he probably was there for the feast, but she asked anyway.
"I come on behalf of my father, Maximus II the Ranger and his tribe." said Davidari. (Maximus II is related to Martin I)
"Never fear I can still run sir, but the blighter ferrety got away." said HolmOak
Dreak looked behind him as he ran out of the mountain and no beast followed him. He slwoed down and walked towards Castle Hound.
Little did he know that two hares were after him.
"Thank the seasons i made it out and with that info! I'll be promoted for sure!" said Dreak.
"I say is are friend ferrety slowing down?" asked HolmOak
Dreak walked on all day and at the end of the day layed down by a rock.
OOC: Who dose the other hare??
OOC: Redwaller. Lets wait for him.
OOC: Ok
OOC:What time of day is this?
OOC: evening
BIC: the Redwallers let Davidari in and Abbot Slusk walked up and said, "Good Evening my son. What brings you to Redwall Abbey on this fine night of feasting?" Davidari answered, "I come from the tribe of Maximus II the Ranger."
Razer had been traveling all day from the north, where she had been born. She had no food or water, just her weapon. Her leg was broken and bleeding from a sparrow attack. The tired. weak, injured, and weary otter was lucky to come across the abbey. She had heard of their hospitality and decided to trust them.....a little. She almost fell on the main gates and called. "Hello? Anybody home?"
"Another visitor?" said Abbot Slusk walking to the gate. "Who goes there?"
"Someone!" Razer replied. she swayed on her paws. At least a dozen sparrows had pecked her and ripped out her flesh, so was losing blood fast.
Shadow turned to the abbot. "Should we let her in?"
"Oh my soul!" said the abbot letting her in. "Get her to the infirmay!" he said rushing her there.
Razer didn't hear any of this. She fainted clear away.
They brought her to the infirmary and layed her down. "Get her some herbs!" said the abbot.
Shadow didn't like blood. She didn't even like scratches. She was quite a wimpy wildcat. Shadow decided that she would go see the visiting mouse instead of following the injured otter. Hmm, I wonder where he could be, she thought. Shadow decided that he must be near food, so she headed toward Cavern Hole.
Davidari was in cavern hole having mousemaids serve him some food. They sat down with him and asked him questions about his travels. Davidari seemed more interested in the food at the moment though.
OOC: Hahaha!
BIC: "Let's be quiet now!" Galdoran whispered to HolmOak.
"Now now ladies let him eat his food. He has just finished a long journey." said Abbot Slusk. The maids nodded and walked off. Abbot Slausk sat down with Davidari and said, "Now what brought you to Redwall Abbey?" Davidari turned to him and said, "Now is not the time.."

"Right you are old thing." Said HolmOak.

"I say, were do you think ferrety is going?" asked HolmOak

BIC: Shadow walked into Cavern Hole and saw the mouse she was looking for. "Hello, Davidari. Er, that is your name, right? I'm Shadow Wildfire, the cat you saw on the battlements."
"Nice to meet you.." said Davidari smiling.
"What brings you here Davidari?"
My father told my stories of my relatives that lived here so I ventured south to find this place.
"Really. Who are these relatives?" Shadow thought that this mouse looked familiar, but she couldn't tell where she might have seen him before.
Let's see.. Maximus II was my father, Marchellius II was my grandfather, and Maximus I the Ranger my greatgandfather married a Redwaller." said Davidari leaning back.
"Hmm. Interesting." Shadow didn't recognize the names, but for some reason she felt as though she had met this mouse before. "Well, you're probably wondering what a wildcat is here for aren't you?"
Not really." said Davidari smiling.
"I say the blighter is going to a fort of some sort." said HolmOak
"Oh." Shadow was surprised at the visitor's answer. Usually all visitors didn't trust her and were afraid of her. Even when she explained that she was brought here as an orphan they went out of their way to avoid her. "Well, you'd be the first."
There are some wildcats in my tribe." said Davidari getting up.
"Really? I thought I was the only one. I'm descended from a long line of wildcat lords who were very cruel. Do you know who Ungatt Trunn is?" Shadow didn't want to scare the visitor away, but she felt like she had to get the secret out.
Davidari's eyes got big and stepped back.
Shadow saw his reaction and decided to stop. "Never mind. It doesn't matter." She hoped she hadn't gone too far.
Davdari nodded quickly and said, "Yes.. Ok.."
"So, er, where are you from?" Shadow hoped he would just forget about this moment. Then her secret would be safe.
OOC: What time period is this, like, what book?

BIC: "The Northlands." said Davidari.
OOC: Thanks
BIC: "Really? I don't really know where I'm from. I was picked up by one of the brothers here when I was just a little dibbun." Shadow decided to skip the fact that she was with her family before that.

Davidari smiled and walked out to towards the orchard. Abbot Slusk turned to Shadow and said, "He is very strange isn't he."
Zanthar Deathhound
"Get my men ready.." said Zanthar to his captains. They bowed low and walked off. He went to a balcony on his palace and looked at Redwall.

"Alright." Shadow ran up to the battlements and looked down on two hares. "What business do you have at the Abbey?"
"We seek lodging for the night. Enemy fort a mile away......this enemy is Zanthar Deathhound." said HolmOak
Abbot Slusk walked up when he said that and he fainted.
"Oh the poor chap." asid HolmOak
"Open the gates!" Shadow picked up the abbot and started to carry him towards the infirmary. She felt like fainting herself, but managed to bring him to the infirmary before she collapsed next to him.
"I say, I think I said the wrong think, wot." said HolmOak as he walked in.
Shadow woke up. She looked beneath her at the abbot. "Oh! I'm so sorry sir!" Shadow picked up the abbot and placed him on one of the beds. Then she walked back to the hares. "Sorry about that. It's not every day that you get a warning like that!"
Slusk woke upend walked to the hares and Shadow. "Zanthar has returned?!" he said rubbing his head.
"Um yes sir Abbot the war lord has returned." said HolmOak
Slusk fainted again..
"I realy can't get the right word today." said HolmOak
"Who's Zanthar?" All that Shadow knew was that Zanthar must be very horrible that the Abbot had fainted twice.
"A bad war lord, what is your name....Mine is HolmOak L. Hollowfern."
"Nice to meet you HolmOak, my name is Shadow Wildfire." Shadow held out a paw for him to shake.
Who is this Zanthar Deathhound?" said Davidari walking in making the abbot faint again. "Is he trying to take over the abbey?"
Shadow pulled her paw back. Obviously these hares weren't going to shake it. "Yes, I was wondering the same thing."
OOC:Wait.....is Devil(from the summer solstice) Zanthar?
OOC: BLEEP!!! We are sorry but that information is highly classified and none may know.

BIC:Razer was acting like she was still unconcious but listening to the convo. "Who exactly is Zanthar?"
OOC: Lol.
BIC: Shadow looked at the abbot who was lying on the ground, dead to the world. She walked over to the Abbey Pond, took out a pouch and filled it with water and walked back to Davidari. She handed him the pouch. "Would you like to do the honors of waking him up?"
Why not." said Davidari pouring water on the abbot. Abbot Slusk woke p an said, "Wha?! What happened?!"
"Oh, nothing, except you fainted about what, four times?" Shadow held out a paw to help the abbot up.
What? How?" said the abbot very embarrassed.
"Don't worry, I did the exact same thing, only once." Shadow kept her paw extended, waiting for the abbot to grab it.
He took it and regained his balance. "But how Shadow! I must know."
"Er, how you fainted? Uh, Mr. HolmOak said something about a character named Zanthar. Don't faint!" Shadow hoped she hadn't said anything bad that would cause the abbot harm.
The abbot flinched and regained posture. "Zanthar Deathhound is the most cruel and oppressive being in Mossflower since Cluny the Scourge. He was only known to the Long Patrol in classified military files but now has come to attack Redwall."
"Right you are sir Abbot, and we were sent here to tell you this bad news and to help you in any way we can." said HolmOak
Do you know where they are based?" asked Davidari.
"Er, Abbot, how do you know about Zanthar Deathhound?"
Not much but some.." said Abbot Slusk.
OOC: I said how do you know, not how much do you know.

BIC: "My old friend Amelia McBrice and her husband Amaru of Jima told me of him and how he graduated from an evil academy and.." he shuttered and said, "And he is a living dead.."

BIC: "Oh. That sounds terrifying!" Shadow shivered. "Well! We should probably get you all inside so you can have something to eat. It looks like you might need it."
Oh I'm starving!" said Abbot Slusk. If there was one thing that shrew loved it was food.

BIC: "Well then, we should go get something to eat!" Shadow led the way to Cavern Hole.

They sat down and ate their dinner. Afterwards Daviari took Shadow outside were no beast was. "What were you saying earlier about Ungatt Trunn?"
"Er, uh... nothing! Absolutely nothing!" Shadow forced a grin. Probably everyone could tell it was forced, you couldn't usually see her molars.
OOC:Razer woke up and found them
BIC:Razer followed them to cavern hole.
Davidari crossed his arms and said, "Just please tell me. I would really like to know."

One of the maids said to the abbot, "Who let a hare in here? He will eat us out of food in a day!"
"Would you be so kind as to pass me the cake please, thank you.......top stuff wot....um could you pass me___oh and pass me the___thank you most kind." said HolmOak as he was eatting
The maid rolled her eyes and walked off. Abbot Slusk handed him the food he wanted.
Shadow grabbed some scones and sat down.
Sitting down next to her Gema sipped some strawberrry fizz. "Long day don't you htink?"
Davidari walked along the battlements thinking about Redwall. This is a wonderful building with wonderful creatures but I have arived in a time of war.. He bumped into Skipper Gelm on his way back to his room.
"Oh! Excuse me Davidari!" he said getting up.
"Pardon me Skipper." said Davidari getting up and walking to his room.
"Yes, it is a long day isn't it?" Shadow chugged down some strawberry fizz and looked at Gema. "So, how are you?"
Davidari walked into his room and went to bed. He had decieded to skip the feast.
"Pretty good," said Gema,"HOw about you?"
She ate a nice plump strawberry. SHe loved the feasts at Redwall.
Skipper Glem walked in and said to Gema, "That Davidari is a nice fellow." He sat down with his daughter and ate the great food.
"I don't really know. There's been a lot going on today." Shadow grabbed a bowl of hotroot soup. Her favorite.
Gema smiled and said,"You're sure right dad. We'll need him once battle starts. Best not to think of the bad times though right?"
"Aye thats right Gema!" said Skipper winking at her, "Always be the optimist!"
Davidari walked into his room and went to bed. The next morning Davidari walked into the kitchens sniffing the smell of food. "That smells lovely!"
Gema was also an early riser and met the warrior at the kitchens. Saying a birght,"Good morning!" to the warrior she said,"Redwall is always this good, it sometimes tastes better than it smells."
Davidari nodded and sat down for breakfast.
Gema grabbed a few warm scones and took a morning walk around the Abbey grounds. IT refreshed her as it did every morning. THis time she had another purpose, to spot any vermin.
Davidari walked outside to take guard duty shift when an arrow landed in front of him.
Gema saw th arow and shouted to him,"Get down below everybeast!"
Then more arrows zoomed over head. "To arms otters!" yelled Skipper waving his javalin in the air. "C'moin moles!" yelled Foremole with staff in hand.
Gema quickly stuffed her scone in her mouth and chewing she ran over to her javelin.
Davidari ran to the walls and looked out. There was the army of Zanthar Deathhound. It was huge! They had all kinds of weapons of war. Catapults seige towers, and even battering rams. They were in for a fight.
"Would you look at that, never fear long patrolers are here. We know are stuff, you down there ...yes you otters... keep the enemys heads down while me and the moles make a Catapults. You...cat...help me and the moles we need you strangth. Galdoran, help the otters....Davidari you and a any redwallers build up the gates." said HolmOak
"I do what I want HolmOak!" said Davidari pulling out his bow and shooting at the enemy.
"Well well, it would help us all if you do as we asked, but you do as you will...not are problem." said HolmOak
Sorry but I take orders from nobeast!" said Davidari.
"Than you most learn my friend, even I take orders....good orders are only there to help you and others". said HolmOak
Nobeast but my father and Martin the Warrior!" said Davidari. Then ladders started to land on the walls and vermin started to climb.
"Davidari, cut the ropes quick!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am coming with help! " shouted HolmOak
All Shadow could see was doors smashing open, vermin running through the wreckage and many, many good beasts dying. Then she snapped out of her vision. She needed to fix the timing of when she saw things. It was becoming quite a bother. She was determined to not let the vision come true. She ran to her room and grabbed her weapons. She then ran to the Skipper and shouted, "Skipper, what can I do?"
OOC: They havent broken in yet.
BIC: Daviadri cut as ropes as he could but some vermin made it to the top. About ten ferrets charged him. He whipped out his sword and shield and charged back.
OOC: I know, she was having a vision, and is now trying to not let that happen.
BIC: "Skipper! What do you want me to do?" Shadow looked frantically around.
Get to that gate and brace it with the moles! They need help!" said Skipper.
Shadow ran to the gate and shoved her shoulder against it.
"Top hole old lad...you show them what a redwall warrior can do, help on the way!" said HolmOak as he side kicked a ferret over the wall.
Davidari swung at the first one literaly cuting his in half. he swung up at the next one slashing his face.
"Come on! Why do I have to hold the gates and you get to fight?"
OOC: Whgat happened since my last post?
Then Foremole and some mole brought out boards for the gate. " 'ere ye go!' said Foremole.
OOC: Galdoran and HolmOak made it to the abbey, everyone learned about Zanthar, Davidari is in the abbey, and Davidari found out that Shadow is related to Ungatt Trunn. Oh, and Zanthar is attacking the abbey.
BIC: "Foremole! Do you need me or can I fight?" Shadow looked at him pleadingly.
Razer had been sleeping when they attacked. Startled, she ran down the stairs, through great hall, and came outside to see disaster. Zanthar must be attacking! She helped Foremole with....whatever he was doing
OOC: Lol, Foremole is barricading the gates!
BIC: Shadow thought that the Foremole was not paying attention, so she ran up the battlements, grabbed her bow and started shooting every vermin she saw.
Bt Razer found it hard to help them, because very mole shoved her out of the way. Frustrated, she climbed the ramparts and looked around. She froze when she saw Zanthar. He had changed so much since the academy.Growling, she shot srrows at all the vermin in Zanthar's path. She had to talk to him.
A ladder clanked down next to Shadow and locked itself onto the wall. "They're bringing in ladders!" She shoved the ladder off, crushing dozens of vermin.
Zanthar was stnadind on a seige tower in the rear of his men. He was telling them to get the whole force at the gate. "Get those rams in! What's that? They're pushing over the ladders? Bring in the towers!"
"Eulalia!!!!!!!!!! Fire the Catapults, these stupid vermin will see a real warrior fight, fire again.....thats the stuff give 'em rock for dinn'r. Eulalia!!!!!!!" He climbed down the wall on one of the ropes and started fighting on the ground....fighting like a mad beast.....slashing will a vermin sword and kicking and boxing till the vermin were dead all around him....but they kept coming......but he fought on.
Davidari climbed down the rope and fought along side him. He was slaying vermin back and forth with his sword.
"Thats the stuff Davidari, show 'em we aren't afraid of there numbers." said HolmOak
Davidari was fighting for his life now and charged through the vermin horde. "Give 'em blood 'n vinagar OakHolm!"
"Its HolmOak, not OakHolm, young lad, but thats the stuff....Davidari? wait for me. Charge Eulalia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "said HolmOak
"Wait for me!" Shadow jumped off the battlements and landed on her hindpaws. Cats always landed on their paws. Shadow pulled out her dagger and attacked the rat nearest her. "REDWAAAAALLLL!"
"Hey you chaps! Save a little fun for the bally chap, wontcha! Wot!" At that, Galdoran jumped at the vermin. "Eulalia!!! Give 'em blood'n'vinegar! Eulalia!!!"
"Raaaaaazzzzze!" Razer shouted her warcry as she leaped down the wall and landed on a rat, bloodwrath driving her on.
Daviadari was literaly mowing down vermin. His great sword flashed in the air as he fought his way through the hords. His shield took many hits but stayed as bright as ever.
Razer fought her way to Zanthar. She had to talk to him! She finally reached him and grabbed him be the ear. "We need to talk." she said as she parried attacks with her sword on her other paw.
OOC: I don't think it would be that easy to get to Zanthar.
"Thats the stuff lads they are retreating." Said HolmOak
OOC, its fine
BIC, Zanthar turned around a whipped out his trident. He pinned Razer on the ground with his weapon at her neck. "What?! Razer?!"
"Help is on the way," with one leap HolmOak jumped over 5 rats and landed near Zanthar and sent Zanthar flighing through the air with a well put side kick, "I say are you alright?" asked HolmOak
Shadow let out a yowl and started heading towards the otter and hare. She stabbed wildly at every creature standing in her way.
"I say, here comes the kitty." said HolmOak
"Don't you dare call me a kitty, rabbit!" Shadow made her way even faster, getting a nasty cut on her ear, making a V-shaped cut. "How dare you?" She stabbed the rat that cut her.
"Alright wild catty. ;D you can do it." said HolmOak
I was listening to this song at 1:20 as I was writing this, it was so sad.
Shadow made it to the hare and glared at him. "Don't call me that!" she hissed. Shadow stabbed a stoat with her dagger going underneath HolmOak's armpit.
Razer tried to pull Zanthar away from the fight, but even more vermin attacked her. "Er....after the fight, we have to talk." she choked out at Zanthar.
"What are you doing?" Shadow shouted to the otter. "Kill him!"
Razer looked at her with sad eyes. "I can't."
Shadow hesitated in her fighting of a rat and looked at Razer. She shouldn't have hesitated. The rat now had an advantage and stabbed Shadow in the leg. The cut had gone deep, and Shadow was losing blood very fast. All went dark.
The vermin realized that somebeast had gotten aholf of their leader. Razer fell as vermin swarmed on her.
Shadow opened her eyes. There was a rat standing above her, wielding a rusty cutlass. It was pointed at her. "Oh no ya don't!" She shouted as she stabbed the rat with her dagger. The rat fell onto her. Oh great, she thought, now I'm stuck. I'm stuck and injured.
Znathar regained posture and swung hiss trident at the Redwallers saying, "Retreat! Fall back to Castle Hound!" THen his army ran for the fortress.
Davidari raised his sword in the air and yelled, "Victory!!" He looked at Shadow and said, "Shadow!" He ran to her and got the rat off her.
Razer hobbled up to Zanthar and grabbed his arm. "We-need-to-talk..." she gasped.(she's very wounded)
"Your wounded!" said Zanthar to Razer. The turning to his men he said, "If anybeast attacks her you will deal with me!" They made it back to Castle Hound and Zanthar said, "Now Razer. What are you doing here?!"
"After I graduated from the academy I was looking for freedom, so I ran away. Wha-what happened to you?"
Zanthar grabbed his face and looked away, "Agh! Don't touch it just keep back from it!"
Razer took a few steps back. "Er...okay? Can I ask what happened to you again?"
I.. I.. can't tell you!" said Zanthar still covering his face.
OOC: He has a helmet on so you cant see his face.
"Um...ok..." said Razer. "I'm not gonna do anything....but, are we still...you know.."
Znathar said, "I.. I.. I..." Then he ripped off his helmet and looked at her.
(It's Slagar all over his face!)
Razer's mouth dropped open, then she snapped her jaws shut. "Well....I have a lot of scars too. But what were you about to say?"
OOC:have to take a shower :P maybe I can stay on just a few more minutes
"I.. I.. am dead..." said Zanthar stabbing his trident in a nearby rat then pinning it on the ground. The rat was dead and like a farmer using a pitchfork his threw it out the window off his trident. He motioned for his men to leave. They bowed low and left him.
"Dead....."said Razer.
OOC:sorry have to leave!
OOC: See ya later.
BIC: "I command armies that the Redwallers could never imagine, I wield the power of magic, I am the best warrior on this side of the world but I am a dead beast.." he said.
Razer looked at him. "But what about..us?"
Zanthar threw his trident into the wall and said, "I don't know! This isn't the Academy!"
Razer stepped back. "So we're enemies? Is that what you want?" she choked out.
"No! I just..." Zanthar slammed his fist on the wall and said, "I don't to let the Redwallers know I have a weakness.."
"What's your weakness?"
OOC:Great, i have to leave when it's getting good!
OOC: Just hurry back then.
BIC: "You!" said Zanthar. He baged his fist on the wall punching a hole in it. One of his captains, Bregg, popped his head in and said, "Uh.. Are you alright chief?" Zanthar turned around and threw his trident at him and yelled, "get out!" Bregg bolted out the door.
Razer looked at Bregg fro a moment, then said. "and you know I can't fight you."

"I know.." said Zanthar. He turned around and said, "I don't know your getting at?"
Shadow hobbled to her paws. All of the blood... well, what was left of her blood rushed to her head. She fainted again.

OOC: how can a dead beast be walking, talking, fighting, and commanding armies?
BIC: "I say well done all around, lets get the lady Shadow back to the abbey, wot." said HolmOak
OOC: He is a Litch.
BIC: Davidari nodded and picked her up. He brought her to the infirmary.
OOC: what is a Litch? Sorry I just don't know those words.
BIC: "Well we beat them once, but how long can we hold out, and where did that otter go...whats her name, Razer?"
"I don't know." said Davidari. "She ran into the horde and that was the last I saw her."
"Humm, well we will ceep a lookout for her." said HolmOak
OOC: A Litch is like a ring-wraith from Lord of the Rings but but more powerful.
OOC: But what does Zanthar have to do with the Summer Solstice?
BIC: A pile of rock suddenly flew into the air. Galdoran got out from under and coughed. "What happened?"
"We won the battle." said Davidari helping him up.
OOC: I realize that i am not part of this RP, but he wants Zanther's pre-death identity to be Devil from summer solstice
OOC: Yes. Griffen and Skyblade helped me out with that.
Shadow woke up. "Where am I?"
Your in the infirmary Shadow." said Davidari sitting next to her with Skipper and Foremole.
Shadow grunted and tried to sit up. "Ah! My leg!" She blacked out for a moment, then her vision slowly came back. "Well, that just ruins my day."
"Well just to keep you informed we won the battle but Zanthar got away with a LARGE protion of his army." said Davidari.
"Did we lose anyone?" Shadow tried to look at her leg. She took one look at the blood oozing through the bandages and purged her stomach of everything previously in there.
"Well we lost a few woodlanders and that Razer woman is missing." said Davidari.
"Sorry to bother you but we need to defend the abbey before they come back." said HolmOak
"Right." said Davidari getting up. "Mount a guard and brace the gate."
"Let me help." Shadow tried to stand up.
"No Shadow you need to rest." said Davidari as he walked outside.
Gema had been in most of the action swing her swing left and right. She hadn't gotten injured except for a few minor scratches. SHe had stayed on the wall for lookout the injured beasts looked like they were being taken cre of.
"Skipper! help me and Foremole!" yelled Davidari. A young hogmaid walked up to Shadow and said, "Davidari told me to give you this letter marm." She handed her a letter.
"I can't read at the moment. I'm blacking out frequently. What does it say?"
OOC: Sorry, what's up with the letter?
Galdoran walked up to them. "Watcha doin'?"
"Trying to read a letter. I have no idea who it's from."
Razer was with Zanthar. "So...now what happens now? I know I can't fight you, but I can't just betray the guys at the abbey. If it weren't for them I'd be dead." (the sparrow attack)
The letter reads, Dear Shadow i am leaving you in charge of the defenders while im gone.
Zanthar said, "Forget them. Come with me Razer.''
Razer was in a difficult position. "Can you...can you give me some time to think about it, please? I'll have the decision ready by...tomorrow at sunset."
Yes Razer.." said Zanthar.
OOC: Thanks.
BIC: "What? Me? An injured person? I'm in charge? You'd better get me a crutch." Shadow started to sit up, then immediately got back down. "Ugh, I can't even sit, let alone lead a group!"
OOC:Razer has like, ten wounds, so what happened to them? Surely they didn't magically disappear?
"I'll get back to you." said Razer. "I'll make my decision based on how the redwallers treat me. If they welcome me back and make me feel appreciated, I stay. But if they compltely ignore me, I'm joining you, to be with someone who cares." she felt bad about the whole thing. The redwallers heal me from the sparrow attack, and I repay them by considering betraying them? No wait...onlt the abbot healed me. Everyone else left. So the only one I really have to repay is the abbot!
Zanthar said, "I will provide anything you need."
Razer staggered away. "Okay, thank you..but I can get healed at the abbey...."
A mousemaid ran up and gave Shadow crutches. "Take it easy now, you hear me?" Shadow tried to stand up, and immediately she fell back down. "I'm not sure how well I'm going to be able to do this," she said. "But, I need to try!" She stood up again, this time only wobbling. With her crutches, she made it to the Great Hall, slowly, but she made it. She looked up at the tapestry of Martin the Warrior. "Please guide me with this task, Martin," she muttered.
Razer literally crawled back to the abbey and pitifully knocked the door. She couldn't believe she knew where zanthar's hideout was. Not that she was gonna ive it away of course
Brother Delfon open the gates and let Razer in. He rushed her to the imfimary as fast as he could.
Shadow saw the otter being rushed in. What was her name again, she thought, Razer? Shadow quickly hobbled after them.
Razer woke up in the infirmary. She had fainted. "er..." she groaned. Dozens of Zanthar's were swimming before her eyes. "Zanthar....."she cried before knocking out again.
"What did she say?" said Brother Delfon to Shadow.
"She said 'Zanthar'." Why would she be thinking of him?
Razer woke up and crashed to the ground. "Ow.......what's going on now?"
"You're in the infirmary." Shadow lied down on one of the beds. Her leg hurt.
Razer squinted at Shadow, but to her she looked like Zanthar. Everyone else looked like Zanthar too!
"Aaaaaahhhh!" Razer screamed and (attempted to) run out of the room.
OOC:Can Razer be an otter/wildcat hybrid like she is in the spacers RP?
"Wait!" Shadow got up and hobbled after her. "What is wrong with her?" she muttered under her breath.
OOC: Lol, Skyblade, I thought Razer was too weak to walk. How is she now running?
OOC:Ok, let's say she quickly crawled out of the room
BIC: Razer looked around. Everything around her was Zanthar! She stared in horror at Shadow, who to her looked like zanthar holding a knife. "Don't kill me!" she yelled, knocking over a table. "I thought we're friends!"
OOC: Lol, thanks. That kinda confused me.
BIC: "What are you talking about? It's me, Shadow!" Shadow reached forward and tried to help Razer. "Come back into the infirmary. We just want to help you."
Razer could finally see clearly now. "Where'd Zanthar go?" she said as she got up.
"I have no idea. Why do you care so much about this Zanthar fellow?"
"We used to be friends," said Razer. "It doesn't matter anymore. Is there anything to eat?"
OOC:I have to leave soon just so you know
"Yes, let me go get something." Shadow hobbled to Cavern Hole and grabbed a few scones. She shoved some into her mouth and hobbled back to Razer. "Here," she said, handing Razer the rest of the scones.
"Thank you," said Razer before she ate them. The people here are too nice! How can I leave them? No.....I can't..I have to tell Zanthar I can't join him She felt sick at the thought of it. If only things could be simple, like they were at the academy.
OOC:Let me ask again, can Razer be an otter/wildcat hrbrid in this RP too?
Gema had seen nothign form the battlements, she left her a post to go to the kitchens. She hadn't eaten anything since breakfeast and had missed lunch. Hopefully the hare hadn't been in the kitchens first.
OOC: Yes it is fine.
BIC: Abbot Slusk walked in and said, "Whats all the noise?"
OOC: walked in where?
OOC: Infirmary
BIC: Davidari, Foremole, Skipper Glem, and HolmOak snuck out of the abbey that night following the tracks of Razer. Davidari had been tought by his father who was a ranger how to track beats in the harshest enviroments.
"Nothing sir, absolutely nothing. Razer here was just hallucinating."
About what?" asked Abbot Slusk.
"I have no idea." Shadow turned to Razer. "What were you hallucinating about?"
"I say is this the blighters camp....er...hidout." asked HolmOak
Yes that's the idea HolmOak." said Davidari still tracking.
"I see, so we could attack them." said HolmOak
"No. So we can take out Zanthar Deathhound once and for all." said Davidari.
"But if he is already dead, than how do we kill him?" Asked HolmOak
Davidari whipped out his sword and looked at it. He ran his paw slowly across the blade and said, "This will kill him.."

BIC: Davidari snuck up to the gate and stabbed the guard in the back.
Razer was walking outside on the front lawn, unable to stop thinking of Zanthar. Finally she made the decision to go and talk to him one more time. She ran out the main gates and followed the same direction she took.
Davidari searched the guard and found the key. He quietly opened the door. He snuck in and searched for Zanthar.
Razer noticed something was wrong. Very wrong. There were other footsteps besides her's, and she could scent the scents of familiar ones like HolmOak and Davidari. She ripped off a tree branch and hurled it into the horizon in anger. Of course! They've gone after me! Oh great, now I've led them to Zanthar's secret hideout! She ran even faster, at the pek of her speed, cursing herself for being too stupid to cover up her tracks.
With HolmOak right behind him they went along the wall hiding behind the vines that grew from the wall and walking in the shadows.
"I think the blighter is in that tent." said HolmOak
Davidari grabbed a weasel guard and pointed his sword at his neck. He wispered, "Make a noise and your dead. Now take me to Zanthar.."
Razer ran so fast she thought her lungs would burst. She finally came to the hideout. Not seeing the others, she lay on the grass panting.
The weasel lead him to Zanthar's room. Davidari tied the weasal to a pillar and gagged him. He slowly pulled out his sword and walked up to the door.
Razer walked up to the entrance. The guard had been stabbed in the back. She whipped out her sword and pointed it to a random rat. "I am Razer, Zanthar's friend." Yeah right she thought. "Escort me to his room, now!"
OOOC: I will play the weasel, he won't die now.
Comekia the weasel took them to Zanthar tent. "this is his tent me'lord, may I join you....Zanthar killed my mate and I hate him." said Comekia
"Good now stay here and keep silent". said HolmOak
"Wait Razer! Come back!" Shadow leaped to her paws, silently screaming as a searing pain went up her leg. She hobbled after the strange beast, hoping that she could catch up. She followed her out of the abbey, not even trying to purposefully stay behind. Her leg was already making her do that.
Shadow followed Razer to the fort. What is she doing coming here again, she thought. Isn't she hurt enough? "Razer," hissed Shadow, "wait!"
Razer ran over to Shadow. "They're attacing Zanthar! You don't wanna miss that do you?" Of course, that was not her reason for going.
Yess miss!' he said walking her to his room.
Davidari busted into the room and Zanthar turned around saying, "Who are you?!" Davidari whipped out the Knight Sword and said, "I am Davidari the Warrior! Son of Maximus II and Mizuki of Jima!" He charged him and so did Zanthar.
"Then help me get to him!" Shadow hoped that Razer would help her, seeing as she felt as though she couldn't take another step. She followed Razer and the rat.
OOC:Oh geez, I forgot that Razer can't run again. Well, let's just say her legs healed very quickly
BIC:Razer helped Shadow and they followed the rat, who quivered in fear of them.
They made it to the room. There were battle noises from inside. "Noooo!" yelled Razer letting go of Shadow. "Zanthar!"
Zanthar and Davidari clashed. Davidari with the Knight Sword and Zanthar with the Demon Trident. They were in a standstill both fighting evenly.
HolmOak was in the fight and so was Comekia.
Shadow toppled over. She quickly scrambled up, pulled out her dagger, and swiped at Zanthar with her crutch.
Znathar's two body guards walked in. Two Werats armed with double-headed axes. They attacked HolmOak and Comekia. Zanthar dodged the crutch and attacked Davidari.
Razer sood to the side. Never one to miss a battle, now she was torn between loyalities
Comekia started fighting the one Werat and killed him HolmOak knocked the other out with his side kick.
OOC: Got to go.
Davidari and Zanthar were still locked in a battle. Nobeast was gaining the upper paw.
Shadow saw Davidari and Zanthar and she quickly stabbed her dagger at Zanthar's neck. "Take that!"
the dagger drove deep into Zanthar's neck and he barely flinched.
"What? Why are you not hurt?" Shadow stabbed at him again, this time in the eye.
Zanthar reacted like a bee stung him. He looked at her and swung his trident at her.
Shadow leaped back and fell over. She hated her leg today. "Why isn't he dying?"
I'm dead!" yelled Zanthar.
"How are you alive then?" Shadow started slowly backing up.
Zanthar snarled and went back to fighting Davidari.
Shadow decided that it didn't matter if he couldn't die. She started beating against him with her crutches and dagger, hoping that she could distract him.
Zanthar compltely ignored her until he swung around with his trident at her.
The shaft of the trident hit Shadow in the stomach. She got knocked to the floor, her crutch several yards away. Oh great, she thought, now I'm really done for.
Davidari and Zanthar were in a long stand off when Zanthar turned around and tryed to stab Shadow.
Shadow rolled over, narrowly missing Zanthar's blow. At the same moment, she tried to knock his trident out of his paw. She swiped at it furiously with her dagger.
Zanthar hanked his trident back and stabbed again.
Razer got her sword out, closed her eyes, and plunged into battle, swingin her sword everywhere.
Zanthar turned around to Davidari to see his swing at his chest. Zanthar knew it wouldn't hurt him much so he didn't brace for it. But when it hit him he flew back yelling in pain.
Razer's bloodwrath was acting up, and now she was just chopping everything she saw. She kncoked into Zanthar.
Davidari stopped to take a breath.
Zanthar was in lots of pain. He saw Razer and yelled to her, "Razer! Razer come here!'"
Razer's bloodwrath dimmed and she went over to him caustiously. "Yes...?"
Zanthar tried to take off his helmet saying, "Help me.. please.."
"How.." said Razer, completely torn.
He motioned to his helmet hoping she would would understand.
Razer looked at the others. How could she do this? Finally, she grabbed Zanthar's helmet and yanked it off his head.
He slowly stroked her har with his paw and looked to see Davidari walking up slowly with his sword drawn.
What have I done? Razer thought, but Zanthar's touch comforted her. She struggled to shake off the happy feeling. "How-how does taking of your helmet help?"
"I can see the world better. It's not to blurry.." Said Zanthar. Davidari walked up and said, "Excuse me miss." he looked at Zanthar saying, "I have come Zanthar..." He walked up to him with his sword out.
Razer stepped backwards. What do I do? Betray who I care about most or betray my new 'friends'? Yeah right, some friend I am, thinking of betraying them
The wildcat/otter hybrid stepped back, away from the fight.
ZAnthar gasped, "Razer what are you doing?!" Then Davidari jumped up with his sword pointed down yelling his warcry, "MARTIN!!!!" Then he plunged his sword into Zanthar's body. Zanthar gave one last yell, "Razer!" Then died...
"Noooo!" Razer yelled and she ran up to Zanthar. It had been bad enough the first time, when he had been killed by a snake, but now...
Zanthar's body exploded as red spirits flew out of his body. Davidari put his sword back on his back then walked away.
Razer leaped on Davidari. "You! Was is necessary to kill him?!"
Davidari tryed to get her off his back saying, "What the!? Agh! Get off!"
Razer got off. "Sorry...." she murmured and stormed out of the room.
Davidari looked at her saying to where she could hear, "If I didn't know better i'de say she had feelings for that.. that.. Devil!"
Shadow got up and limped over to her crutch. She sheathed her dagger. "Are you okay?" she asked Davidari. "It looked like you got beat up back there."
Razer didn't hear him, she was already quite far away.(by far I mean far!)
Davidari said, "No im fine. its just a few scraps..." He watched Razer walk off."
"Hmm. Well, we'd better get back to the abbey. Who knows, some vermin might have run off and started attacking." Shadow started to limp to the door. She turned to Davidari. "You comin'?"
Right." said Davidari. Following her.
Razer was not at the abbey, she was somewhere close by, at a stream. She looked at her reflection, feeling alone....again.
Shadow scented Razer while she was heading back to Redwall. "Wait here," she told Davidari. "I'll be right back." Shadow walked to the stream. She saw Razer sitting by the water. "Hey."
A cool wind blew by and there was a feint figure of Zanthar in the wind. There was a whisper in the wind, "Razer....."
Razer looked at Zanthar. "I'm here. You need to come back. How will I make it without you? If only you turned good, like me." She didnt see or hear Shadow
OOC:aw, have to leave
Ok, maybe I can stay a few more minutes
Zanthar's spirit started to disappear. "I would have been dead long ago if I didn't follow orders.."
"I'm glad we had this time together." said Razer. "But please..visit me sometimes. When I'm alone. Which is often." She still didn't notice Shadow
OOC:can Shadow see Zanthar?
Zanthar smiled for the first time since the Academy and nodded. Then he disappeared.
OOC: Well, according to me, no. I'm not so sure about Alf though. He is Zanthar, so I don't know, is the final decision up to him whether I can see him? Lol. I'm so unsure!!!
BIC: "Er, Razer?" Shadow waved a paw in front of Razer's face. "Hellooo."
Razer looked at him, and returned his smile. It was the first time she had smiled in her life. 3 things she had never done were smile, laugh, and cry. Though the first was now off her list and she felt like she might cry any moment now.
"Aaah!" said Razer when she saw Shadow. "Don't sneak up to me like that!"
OOC: ooooooky...
BIC: There still was a small whisper in the air, "Razer....."
"I'm here," Razer said. "I'll always wait for you. and one day I'll join you."
Davidari saw them talking and hid by a tree.
Razer sighed and walked away. She needed time by herself
Davidari sneezed as she walked by.
"Aah!" Razer jumped and pulled out her sword. "What do you think you're doing?"

"I.. uh.. well you see..." Davidari was at a loss for words.
Razer glared at him and walked away.
Davidari looked at her and said, "What do you know about... Shaffa...."
Razer whippped her head around. "He's a teacher at the academy. I honestly don't think he likes me much though." She walked away.
Seeing that this didn't anger her he said, "Who is Devil?"
"What's this academy everyone is talking about?" Shadow limped to Davidari. "Do you know?"
Davidari whispered, "Not now..."
Razer ignored Davidari and went back to the abbey.
Davidari shrugged and went back to the abbey.
Razer sat by the abbey pond with her feet in the water. She looked at her reflection and it turned into Zanthar.(she's hallucinating again)
Davidari walked in and saw her he hid by a tree and watched her.
Razer closed her eyes. "I know you're there, Davidari. What are you doing?"
He yelled at her, "Hey otter-cat! Stop thinking about that dead fox beast!"
Razer leaped up. "Don't you dare call me otter-cat, and I'm not thinking about that stupid fox!" she lied. It was hard to talk bad about Zanthar.
"I only helped him because I felt kinda sorry for him," she added. Another lie.
Davdiari turned around and said, "Whatever you say watercat."
Razer was gatting mad. She stomped up to Davidari. "Listen mouse, I don't wanna hear otter-cat or watercat, or anything of that sort! Understood?"
Ok then Academy-pet!" said Davidari.
"Academy pet!" Razer roared, though she was actually glad the topic had gone off being a hybrid. "I'm not part of the academy anymore!" She strutted in front of Davidari. She had been tortured before, but not insulted like this!
Davidari backed up, "What the Chay are you doing?!" he yelled.
Razer narowed her eyes and stepped back. "How do you know so much about the academy?" she asked.
Davidari shrugged, "I'm from really far up north." He started to walk away when he turned around, "But could you answer me one question?"
"What is it?" said Razer.
"Who is Devil the fox?" said Davidari thinking he had said the winning words.
"Someone," said Razer, "from the academy. He was bitten by a snake and died, so no need talking about him anymore." Two things that ticked her off:talking about Zanthar, and her being a hybrid
Yes ok then but my guess is he died?" said Davidari.
"That's right, now you can shut up about him." she walked away.
"Ya right, kittydog..."
"I say how are you two today, we really showed them back there didn't we. Oh I was just showing Comekia (come-k-i-a) around the abbey.Davidari could you be so kind as to show him the warrior cottage?" said HolmOak
"Hey Davidari, stop bugging Razer. She's been through a lot today." Shadow glared at Davidari.
Davidari got thint anleft her alone.
"This is a very nice abbey". said Comekia
Davidari sat by himself on the abbey walls.
OOC: Who's Comekia again?
BIC: Shadow hobbled into the kitchen. "Is there something to eat?"
Abbot Slusk turned around and said, "Where have you been?"
"Hey Davidari, it looks like you are a Heroes of Redwall. You killed the war lord, why don't you come down the lawn to have a picnic?" asked HolmOak
"Er, killing Zanthar." Shadow looked at him. She knew she shouldn't have left, but she couldn't be left out of the fight!
What did you say?" asked Davidari turning around.
Abbot Slusk stood with his mouth wide open. "YOU killed Zanthar Deathhound!?"
"I said, it looks like you are a Heroes of Redwall. You killed the war lord, why don't you come down the lawn to have a picnic?" said HolmOak
Oh alright.." said Davidari.
"Good because I am hungery." Said HolmOak
"No. Davidari did."
Well I'll be!" said Slusk. He walked outside and said, "Davidari! Please come here!" Davidari walked over. The abbot had private talk with him.
"But we were going to have a picnic." said HolmOak
Abbot Slusk walked over to the picnic and sighed. Davidari walked over to the gate and snuck out.
"Davidari is leaving.." said Slusk, "And he most lily won't come back.."
OOC: We are done!! Yes! Completion!!
