Title: Dibbuns on Strike!
Post by: Amarith Waterspring on June 20, 2016, 02:10:11 AM
Ok, so the way you play this, is basically all the members are Rping as dibbuns and are trying to run away from the Mods who are the sisters and brother's trying to catch them and put them back into bed with a stern talking to. The Admin's on the other hand are the Badger Mums and Lords, so they might be less lenient with naughty dibbuns  ;).

There is no real end goal with this, unless all the dibbuns are back safely in bed, but I doubt that will ever happen knowing the people on this forum ;).

Anyway, the only rules are that you have to only use resources a dibbun would be able to acquire (No laser guns or holograms or swords or huge boulders even a badger can't lift or anything like that) and that once you are in bed you have to sneak out without being caught again which will be harder if the Mods are smart about this.

It is also recommended that you speak in dibbun language, but it is not mandatory, it is just more fun that way :)

Anyway....DIBBUNS! YOU HAVE NOW BEEN UNLEASHED! RUN FREEEEEEE!

Oh, YES! Do we need to sign up? Because count me signed-up.

FYI, you might want to appoint some members to be brothers and sisters/ admin roles, considering not all mods/admins are that active.

I can't stop laughing right now, Dibbun for sale indeed!

You don't need to sign up, just join when ever and give your self a dibbun name when you play.

That is a good point...If anyone wants to be a sister or brother, you may be that if you want, but you cannot switch between dibbuns and brothers/sisters. Pick one, and stay that way, other wise it wouldn't be fair.

Also I am not sure if this might become more of a cellars topic or not.

Your welcome!

Ok let's start.

BIC: Ami takes a moment to realize she is able to finally escape, and blinks in the light of the open doorway. She throws the sheets off her bed and runs out of the room to the hallway. She pokes her head back into the room, "Hey.....Hey! We need to get out of here before they realize they left the door open! Come on!"

Post by: Groddil on June 20, 2016, 10:12:17 PM
OOC: Oh, joyous day!

BIC: Groddy stares at the open door and cackles. The little fox reaches into his pillowcase and pulls out a small slingshot, before rushing over to join Ami.
"Heeheehee! Ami, Ami! Ca' we waid the kichings? I's hungered!"

Post by: Aimless Gallivanter on June 20, 2016, 11:07:09 PM
"Wait! Wait fer meee!" Galli wiggled herself off the bed, landing on the floor with a soft thump. She was a tiny little mousling, quite small for even a Dibbun her age. "I wanna s'awberry pie!!"
Title: Re: Dibbuns on Strike!
Post by: Groddil on June 20, 2016, 11:16:48 PM
"Yay! St'awbee pie an' corjul an' pasties an'...an'...Why don' we jus' 'ave all of it?!?!"
The little fox was waving his slingshot around wildly; thankfully, it was unloaded.
"'Ang on...Wot if da bwothers an' sisters finds us? Wot if dey tells da h'Abbot? We 'as ta be quieter an' a mouse. An' if I sees any bigbeasts, I'll shoot 'em wif me slingerstinger!"

"Ooh, I knows a sec'et 'ideout. We can hide in da bawwels in da cella!"

Groddy waved his slingshot at Ro.
"Shaddup! Got ta be silenced! We find da vittles an' hide in da bawwels. 'Urry up!"
The little fox crept onto the top step.
Title: Re: Dibbuns on Strike!
Post by: Aimless Gallivanter on June 21, 2016, 12:20:02 AM
Galli noticed didn't like her idea getting rejected. She pouted. "Why we gotta go ta da baralies? Da cellars're dark. Da H'Abbot says notta go down dere." She padded softly up to stand next to Groddy at the top step. She stared down the steep stairs, her voice a husky whisper. "We're gorna get alla way down dese ourselfs?" She sucked on the tip of her tail nervously.

Ro ran to the stairs of the cellar and down to the barrels, looking around to see if anyone was there, " 'da coats's clear!" she whispered and climbed into a barrel
Title: Re: Dibbuns on Strike!
Post by: Groddil on June 21, 2016, 12:24:04 AM
"Zack'ly! Da h'Abbot won't look fer us down dere, 'cause 'ee won't fink us'n's diso...disbii...dinna lissen ta him! Let's go!"
The little fox tucked his slingshot back into his clothing and slowly started to descend the steps. He got down three, before tripping and landing two further steps down.
"Owwww...I's not 'urted."
Shaking himself off, Groddy continued to inch down the stairs.

OOC: cum is a different pronounciation of come.
@Rose: That was quick.

"The H'Abbot'll be h'angrered if'n he finds us in da cellars." Galli sat down and scooted herself down the steps, occassionally slipping bump bump bump! down a few.

"M'kay."
He turned to Galli.
"Well den, we won' let da h'Abbot find us! 'Ere, some of ya stay in da bawwel, an' somebeast 'elp me ta carry da vittles!"
Title: Re: Dibbuns on Strike!

Galli finally bump bump bumped! herself all the way down the stairs. "I wanna carry da vittles Groddy!"
Title: Re: Dibbuns on Strike!
Post by: Amarith Waterspring on June 21, 2016, 12:40:10 AM
Ami ran down the stairs until she almost fell, then she tip toed down carefully and quietly.
"I'mma come too! I wanna get a big stuwubel all for me! Does anyone know how to get to the kitchens quickly? We gonna get tired out if we go too far wi' all dat food."

The fox began looking around for the stairs.

Fatch had been a little more nervous than the other dibbuns, and only once a fair few had left did he come to join the fun:

"Sawry I take so long! I was nervus! You's takin all the dwinks? We's could be gettin in big troubles for that'n! You sures its okay? What if da buddas and sisstas come?"
Title: Re: Dibbuns on Strike!
Post by: Amarith Waterspring on June 21, 2016, 01:00:14 AM
Being one of the older dibbuns, Ami started to take control. "As long as we are quiet they won't know we are down here. It is too dark for them to see anything. We can use the cart until the stairs. Then, we will have to carry the drinks and strudels and pies down to our secret hideout. Ok, who want's to go and get the food, and who wants to stay here and make the hideout better for hidin in?"

Ro tried to climb out of the barrel she was in, and accidentally toppled it over onto the floor making a loud 'bang' "Oops did I bweak anyf'ing?"

The abbey otter, the shellhound, went to find him self a cool drink after the hot days work in mossflower woods. Hearing a funny noise he went quikly down the steps with his rudder tail thumping behind him.

Galli hushed up quickly when she heard footsteps and sunk further into the shadows between the barrels.

Fatch whimpered in terror -

"We's gonna get caught! We's gonna get caught! I knew I shudda stayed in bed!"

Desperately, he dove into the corner with Ro - grinning sheepishly and whispering

"We' gonna be in big big trubble!"

Groddy giggled slightly as he heard Leatho descending one set of stairs. The little fox grabbed his slingshot and rushed up the second  staircase into the kitchen. Groddy smirked. Completely deserted. The fox dived into a nearby cupboard and pulled it shut. He almost cried out with glee. The entire cupboard was stacked full of delicious treats. Groddy crawled over them into the back corner, where he began gorging himself on a large pastie.

Ami heard both the shellhound and the dibbuns talking and whimpering. She quickly snuck back behind the closest barrel, and tried to gesture to the other dibbuns to stay as silent as possible. If they messed this up, everyone would be caught.

James, the resident Abbey owl and a long-time friend of the Abbot Matthias, swaggered self-importantly to the top of the cellar steps. After adjusting his pair of spectacles, he squinted into the darkness below and called out, "Leatho, are you down here?"

Fatch heard the voice of a second abbey elder. With a squeak of panic, he sunk deeper behind the crate.

He looked around for an escape route, and saw the door to the cellarhog's room - deep snores were coming from in there.

"I'bet dey won't check b'hind a sleepy'beast!" He whispered, and scurried inside to hide behind the sleeping hog.

Having completely gorged himself, Groddy crawled out from the cupboard. Feeling like causing mischief, he unwound his sling and crept towards the stairs. The dibbun nearly burst out giggling when he saw James standing at the top of the stairs. The little fox grinned evilly, whirling a stone from his sling towards the owl. As soon as he had fired the missile, Groddy shot off back towards his cupboard.

Fatch took advantage of the momentary distraction to slip past Leatho, and then past the owl as well while it attempted to see what had hit it. He dashed into the kitchen as well, and began helping himself to the deserts, encouraged by the elder's apparent lack of recognition of what was going on:

"Yum, yum. No bigbeasts fast enuf to catcher me! Fatch eata all da derzerts!"

The new abbeybeast, Sister Gallivant, was up doing her chores when she'd heard a noise coming from the stairs. A quick peek revealed them empty, but now there seemed to be something in the Cellars, making noise. "Is anyone in there?" She called from the door, hesitant to go into the darkness.
Title: Re: Dibbuns on Strike!
Post by: Fatch of Southsward on July 17, 2016, 05:42:31 AM
Fatch, having eaten enough deserts to become too tired of them to eat any more, found himself full of energy from the sugar intake.

He jumped his way through the hall, headed for the entrance to the great hall. All he had to do was sneak out the door and he would be free to roam the grounds. He could swim in the abbey pond, climb the orchard trees. Everything in sight was his land, and he was the little king!

Post by: Aimless Gallivanter on July 17, 2016, 01:40:49 PM
Sister Gallivant spun around, this time hearing a noise from the hall. She was beginning to get nervous...
There was something there...
Oh my! Was that a Dibbun? She hurried after the hopping little shape, which she just barely caught sight of heading into the Great Hall.

Ro skittered away from the cellarhog's room when she heard the sister calling down the stairs and ran towards the barrels of strawberry cordial to taste it before they  got caught.

Fatch was now attempting to open the great big door to the grounds. It was heavy, and all his strength moved it inch by inch. It opened with a loud creak!

With a giggle of glee, Fatch ran out onto the grounds - he would head to the wall! Another dibbun had told him yesterday how he had balanced on the battlements. Fatch wasn't sure if this was true, but he had to come up with an equally good story!

THE DOOR CREAKED OPEN. She dashed after that. There was definitely something wrong. As she got outside, she could see, across the open lawn, little Dibbun Fatch, running quick as he could toward the wall.
"Hey! Stop!!"

Fatch was somewhat concerned for the sister's health after such a fall.

"Er, whachu fall over fore sista galli? Are you okay?"

The rascally little beast, was poised to sprint away as soon as it was confirmed that the sister, was in fact, not dead.

The Sister rolled over on her back, to stare up at the sky and contemplate her failure in life. The sunrise, she noticed, was very beautiful.
"What're you doin' out here, Dibbun?" she asked, straining her head to look at him. Her view was upside down.

OOC: I figured if the Dibbuns were up before the rest of the Abbeybeasts then it must still be pretty early

Fatch was almost to the cellars, when he spotted Ro heading for the bell towers. The elders had always warned of the dangers of the place - horrific injuries and the like, from falling. This made it a perfect spot to explore with his new freedom. He hurried to catch up to her.

"Hehe, if we ring the bells, we could wake the whole Abbey! We'd be in so much truble!"

Ro stopped in her tracks "I don' wanna get in truble!" Just then a master plan formed in her mind, "Wa' if  we rung de bells then climbed back down the step! They'd never know It was us!"

The Sister heard voices again, tiny squeaky excited voices. She ran off in that direction. Seemed like they were headed to the bell tower.

Ro dashed up the steps of the bell tower, as quick Asa dibbun her size could dash anyway. She looked behind her every few steps or so to make sure Fatch was still right behind her.

Sister Galliver arrived in the tower just as the young ones reached the half way point. "DIBBUNS NO."

The sister spun and snatched up the tiny hedgehog maid. Then she spun on the mousebabe, frozen on the steps.

"Sorry sista! Dinnint mean to be so naughty! I go silently now!"

As soon as he had drawn level to the Sister, he took off like a shot -

"Hehehehee!!! Diddint say where I was goin'! Don't worry Ro! We gonna save'a you!

Rosie dashed, fumbled and flopped down the few stairs she had climbed up.

"Oof!"

She landed on the last step with a plonk. Dizzy, she got up and waddled away as fast as her tiny legs could carry her.

"Ah! 'Ere it is!" Ami dragged out a large bowl from the cupboard and started dumping her half crushed strawberries into the bowl. After that was done, she went on the hunt for the sacks of flour.

OOC: We should probably get some Adults in here before Ami decides her crumble is ready for the oven.

OOC: That might be a good idea. How would I go about moving it?

BIC: Upon finding the sacks of flour, Ami was faced with a dilemma; the sacks of flour were waaaaay to big and heavy for her to lift or even drag over to her bowl. She decided to bring the bowl over to the sacks and started to scoop out flour with her paws. Shortly she was a white, powdery, dibbun shaped lump running around the kitchens in search of the sugar.

Ro noticed that Sister Galli seemed to be unmoving and stood where she was, staring ahead at the few steps in front of her. She guessed that the Sister was trying to trick Ro and she waddled even faster than before. She scurried back into the kitchens and started to follow Header around, waiting for something to do.
