You're kidding! That's hilarious! No, you didn't show it to me, though, Ice did when I was over at her house one day. ;) She was actually showing me how to make banners, and pretty much, after going through the whole thing, making her own, she said something like, "Okay, if you want to make your own, just sit down and do it while I start up Merlin." My first try (http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w510/RoAR0316/DoctorRose1a.jpg) didn't end too badly, but it was still like, "Whoa, I've got waaaayyyy too many options!!!
Anyway, I too have a request, Russano, if you're willing to accept it. I'd like to see you draw the Taggerung. Full colour if you want to do it that way, but if not, pencil would be fine. :) Oh, and his description (at least, how I picture him) is a light brown otter, muscularly built, and heavily tattooed (especially on the face). The only real description you need for the tattoos would be the face, which is a black stripe running up from the nose to the forehead, red spots next to the stripe, and a blue lightning bolt under his left eye. The rest of the tattoos can be whatever. :P
As for the clothes, a red kilt with a broad, brown belt with a large buckle. Oh, and two braided bracelets, one on each wrist, as well as brass hoop earrings.
And finally, the only weapon would be the dagger of Sawney Rath, which was sapphire-studded.
Was that too much of a description? I feel like it might have been. :P
I'll be glad to do the Taggerung. He should be fun to draw. And no, that's not too much of a description.
Leatho, I've finished the pen outline of Bucko and will probably start coloring it tomorrow. But I may decide to start tonight.
@ Rain haha, that's funny...I even know what letter font you used. I first used an editing website called Picnik, but it closed down, and then one of Picnik's original engineers started a similar photo editor called PicMonkey.com in the beginning of 2012. It is almost the same though. :)

Weapons: Scimitar, Dirk, and Bow with arrows.
Physical Description: Sculrig is Tall, Strong and Sinewy with Orange-Red fur and a slight tint of Black fur at the paws. A long scar runs from his left brow to his left cheek, straight through his eye. His left eye is a normal eye with a yellow iris but his right is a milky white orb. He speaks with a deep and gruff voice.
Clothing description: Sculrig wears a tunic of sandy brown with blotches of Grog stains on it. A flat cap of Sandy Brown also is worn on his head. He wears a broad, black buckle belt tied around his waist with his dirk thrust through the right side of the belt and the scimitar through the left. Two big black Sea boots are worn on his feet. His quiver of arrows are shouldered and his bow is held in his paw.

I can do all of those. Tam, I've started on the pencil sketch for Sculrig. I had time to do it because the electricity went out for a while at my house so I couldn't do my school (I'm homeschooled). The internet went out with it so I couldn't check your description of Sculrig. I remembered enough of it though to get a good start on him!

Both of those are so cool! A tip: Not in all cases (with some creatures, they are small), but sometimes the footpaws need to be bigger. ;) That's one problem I have ALL the time! That and forgetting to add tails. :P

Possibly also making the eyes a bit larger would be a way to distinguish. Oh, and the nose could be a little larger as well. Cats have smaller noses, so squirrels have huge noses compared to them. ;)

Thanks! I had originally planned for this one to be Badrang, but when I drew the face I decided it looked more like an otter than a stoat. So instead of erasing the face I just went with it and drew an otter. I'll do Badrang another time.

Thanks! Bane was fun to draw. I think this fox came out better than my other drawings because I actually tried to make him look furry instead of just using smooth pen lines. And sure, I can do Rasconza.

Ok. My cloak is fairly ordinary, except it's greenish grayish blackish brownish. Does that help? It shimmers and changes color. We use it for camoflauge.

Very nice! You've captured the naturalistic side of the animals very well and colour with those pencils so nicely. Adding those bits of darker tone for the shading really helps bring out the pictures further. :D

Name: Ciara (Keer-uh)
Age: 15
Race: Squirrel
Gender: Female
Class/Job: Storr's assistant and apprentice healer (studies under the infirmary keeper)
Personality: Ciara is a very bubbly maid and is easily excited. She is an extremely curious beast, and she looks forward to every time she's allowed to go out of Redwall and explore Mossflower Woods (usually this is when she's SUPPOSED to be looking for herbs).
Other than that, the maid loves to be helpful, and she feels very pleased whenever she can help somebeast heal, but she has a tough time learning due to her short attention span (meaning, one moment she'll be learning about herbs, and the next, she'll be chasing butterflies). She loves to climb trees, and she usually wins the 'climb the greased pole' competition.
Appearance: Ciara is a very thin squirrel, and is rather small for her age. This makes her able to run faster and climb higher than other squirrels, but she's also more prone to injuries, due to weak bones. For her fur colour, she's a bright ginger with a lighter muzzle and belly, and her eyes are light brown. They're usually open wide so she can take in all the details of life.
For her clothing, Ciara wears a blue and red striped button-up tunic, which is sleeveless. Under that, she wears a large, cream coloured shirt with baggy, elbow-length sleeves. She has a brown belt strapped around her waist with a knife attached to the right side and a brass spyglass tucked into the left. A brown leather satchel hangs from her left shoulder and rests by her right paw (it carries all her medical supplies).
Lastly, the squirrelmaid wears brown leather greaves around her ankles and a green neck scarf (tied around the neck like the boy scouts do it. ;)).
So, pretty much, to sum it up, Ciara is a luvverly young squirrelmaid, and bucks flirt with her often.
Weapons & Armor: She carries a dagger, but she doesn't really know how to use it. She knows how to heal others, though. As for armour, the only real armour she wears would be the leather greaves. Other than that, nothing that would protect her from attacks. She lives at the abbey, after all! What would she need to protect herself from?
Other: Ciara is left-pawed.

Name: Silonna Greenholm
Nickname: Ginger
Age: 21 seasons
Nameday: Primary 22nd, 1712
Height: 5'6"
Physical Description: Silonna is a calico she-cat with bright, emerald green eyes. Her fur is short and sleek, making her look thinner than normal, but she's very healthy. Ginger's main fur colour, unlike many calicos, is, well, a bright ginger. The other two colours are black and white, black being the more dominant of the two.
Clothing: Ginger wears a cream-coloured blouse with short sleeves and open shoulders. Over top of that, she wears a black button-up vest that is almost always unbuttoned. She has a dark forest green scarf that is wound loosely around her neck. A sash of the same colour is tied around her waist, into which a rapier is tucked. She also has a lute carried on her back, held on by a black leather strap which runs diagonally from her left shoulder to her right hip, with the body of the instrument at her shoulder.
On her long legs, Ginger wears black trousers with two pockets that she likes to shove her paws into. She has black boots covering her footpaws.
Jewelry: The wildcat has two small, brass hoop earrings, one in the base of each ear. She wraps a leather strap around her right wrist for no particular reason, but she claims that one day she'll need to use it for something.
Weaponry: Ginger is the best with her rapier, and has it on her person at all times. She prefers not to use it, but has it for emergencies. She also carries a small knife in her boot, hidden away from sight.
Another thing she claims is a weapon would be her lute. She likes to mock her foes, singing annoying ditties whilst strumming her instrument. She doesn't do it often, but when she does, she's rewarded with enraged, and rather clumsy, foes.
Personality: Ginger is a shy, quiet wildcat, who prefers being alone to being in a crowd. She loves to sing, but is afraid to show her talents to anybeast. But, the calico does play her lute in public.
One thing that the cat is is a kind creature. She tries to do her best to not be cruel or rude, but to be polite and generous to everybeast, even her enemies.

That's fine. I'd been hoping for more requests because I just couldn't decide on what to draw next. I think I filled up 5 pages of my sketchbook with half finished drawings.
Awesome! I'm so tempted to get a cat, but not sure at the moment how I'd like it. Instead I'd like to have a squirrel character but I've not properly thought her out, so I'll give a spur of the moment description (it'll be good to see how it comes together!). :)
So: Red Squirrelmaid, wearing a green tunic (a bit darker than the green you used for the monk clothing in your last mouse picture) with a brown belt. A brown entwined bracelet on her wrist (obviously :p). She could be holding a slingshot and have a small dirk or similar in a holder as well.

well one of them is female and fights with a sabre and could be wearing a blue headband and could be wearing a blue and green short dress and the other is male and is wearing a tattered old tunic maybe brown or green what ever is easier is that a good enough description if not I could try again to make it clear'a :)

Sorry it took so long for me to respond to this. I just noticed it. Yes, I used to paint quite a bit. Not so much now though. I find that I will only enjoy rock painting, or any type of art, if I'm in the right mood for it. Right now I'm in the mood for drawing Redwall art. But sometime I might begin rock painting again.

Sorry it took so long for me to respond to this. I just noticed it. Yes, I used to paint quite a bit. Not so much now though. Appearance: Netram is quite beautiful for a vermin, with pale brown fur and creamy white chest. She has dark purple eyes, leaning close to blue. She has fine, barely visible eyebrows, and long eyelashes. On her sleeveless arms, a collection of scars show how battle-hardened she is, along with the long scar going from her left ear, down to the jaw. Being rather on the tallish side, she towers over the average vermin, she is quite lean, and has strong arms, which enable her to wield her two fearsome blades.
Clothes: Rich oriental robes, with no sleeves, and long, puffy silk pantaloons. The robes are made with two long sheets, one pale yellow, and the other deep blue. Iron chain mail shirt under the robes. Steel spiked helmet with a turban covering it. Spike protruding from the middle. Wooden clogs with curling ends. Her two blades are strapped over her back, in beautiful scabbards incrusted with gold, silver and precious gems found in the land she comes from. On her claws she wears gold and silver rings, studded with emeralds and sapphires.
Personality: Netram is a natural leader, and does it with an iron paw; even though she looks soft and dainty with all the perfumes, baths, and other things she puts on. She sometimes has flashes of her sweet childhood, and when those happen, she his defenceless, and gives mercy to whatever creature she was about to kill. When she is not in the claws of those fits, she is cruel, mean, and executes anybeast who so much as drop something abruptly.
History: Unlike most vermin, she was not brought up by cruel parents. She came from a far-away land, where summer was eternal, and where sand covered most of the landscape. Her parents were peaceful merchants, trading spices with incoming ships which harboured in the coastal cities dotting the coast. Her parents also trained her in the art of defence, so that if she ever found herself in danger, she could have a chance of escaping; with the constant and caring training from her parents, she became powerful in the arms. And a Blademaster when it came to wielding the swords she always carried with her. She had never known a steady home, for she and her parents were always on the go, travelling from city to city. There came a day, when her country came into civil conflict, and they had to be wary not to get caught in the midst of it. But unfortunately, one day, her mother went alone to meet an old acquaintance, where she was killed. Netram and her father had to carry on alone, on the dark road ahead; but she was not to carry on with her father for much longer. As Netram came to be eight seasons old, they came to the docks of one of the biggest cities along the coast, and her father was busily trading. Netram, being bored, decided to go and explore around a bit, and that was the first and worst mistake she ever did, for she was captured, and was brought onto a pirate ship, disguised as merchants. From that day forth, she learned cruelty and death, and slowly climbed up until she caused a mutiny and fled with most of the crew, to conquer the cold lands of Mossflower Country.
Other: She takes a bath in rose water every day, and puts on exotic perfume, swathing herself in a mantle of heavy smell, putting beasts around her into a dream-like atmosphere, making it hard to think clearly. She is unaffected by the affects of the cloud hovering around her.

Personality: His fun to be with and is good at telling jokes. Likes to tell of his adventure of when he was younger and traveling the ocean. Loves being with the Dibbuns and is often found playing with them outside or in the dormitory.
Other: is Abbey Champion and was a traveller until three seasons ago, and is skilled in melt work and leather making. Says that he was born on the island Riftgard, but his family left to sail the seas when he was still a pup. Grew up on the ship Autumn Fair but when he was 16 they were attacked by searats and his family slain. The ship was stolen and him taken as a slave. But he escaped a few weeks later and killed the searat captain and sailed to the shores of Salamanderstron and sold Autumn Fair to the Badgerlord and then travelled up to Redwall Abbey .

Probably quite a while, considering that your at the bottom of the list right now. I've been really busy with school lately and haven't been able to complete the requests as quickly as I could in the summer. It might be about a month until yours is finished.

Name & Affiliation: Adeline (Addy) Greenborough (Minstrel)
Species: Hare
Age: Late 30s, early 40s... somewhere around there.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Addy is a light ginger hare with floppy ears and dark green eyes. She's quite fond of food, as most hares are, so she's not the most thin. Actually, she's rather large, and she wears a bright green, baggy dress with a very flamboyant pattern on it. Over that dress the minstrel wears a flashy yellow cape with similar decorations, making her look the part of a fool. Which she is.
When traveling, Addy is known to wear a yellow bonnet that matches her cape, and she's often found carrying her flute and lute. The lute is most often slung over her shoulder, while she has a special pouch in her cape for the wooden flute.
Personality: Adeline is your typical minstrel: boisterous and merry, with a side of joy. She loves children and has a thing for food (as most hares do), as well as her instruments. She believes that she sings horribly, making her stick more to her flute than lute, but in reality, her singing is quite the treat.
Weapon: The only weapon the hare owns is a knife tucked into her dress. Well, and her instruments, but she would never hit a beast with them!

Hmmm, I didn't time myself. I would estimate about 3-4 hours.

Personality: Is strange, and mysterious, acts easy, but is deadly. Even though she is an otter, she is ruthless, and cruel. Acts innocent, when she is in a tight spot.
Other: Is from Cien's past, and knows many truths about him. Was a sailor on Autumn Fair, and had much influence over Cien after he became Captain. And planted many ideas in his mind.

With small brown shoes and has a silver earing in his left ear. He has a black belt with his sword scabbard on his left hip. He also has a black cloak when the weather is bad.
Personality: He does not speek much, but when he does he speeks his mind. Looks on the cloudy side of things.

Appearance: is of middle height, with amber eyes. has only one ear, and is missing some teeth. His fur is dark brown with a golden strip going from his snout to the back of his neck.

Personality: His fun to be with and is good at telling jokes. Likes to tell of his adventure of when he was younger and traveling the ocean. Loves being with the Dibbuns and is often found playing with them outside or in the dormitory.
Other: is Abbey Champion and was a traveller until three seasons ago, and is skilled in melt work and leather making. Says that he was born on the island Riftgard, but his family left to sail the seas when he was still a pup. Grew up on the ship Autumn Fair but when he was 16 they were attacked by searats and his family slain. The ship was stolen and him taken as a slave. But he escaped a few weeks later and killed the searat captain and sailed to the shores of Salamanderstron and sold Autumn Fair to the Badgerlord and then travelled up to Redwall Abbey .

Other: Is the Dibbuns Choirmaster and has a great laugh and is always singing. Is not exactly friends with Cien and try's to keep out of his way if she can. Is the infirmary keepers assistant but whenever she can is outside practicing songs with the Dibbuns. It was her idea to put on the Musical of Martin the Warrior's life and is writing and directing all the songs and acting parts

Name: Damien Farworth
Species: Hare
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Weapon(s): Bow with Arrows is what Damien uses as a primary weapon but he also has a longsword in a sheath on his right which he uses in close combat. Also on his back besides his arrow pouch is his two long parrying/thrusting daggers. (If you watch LOTR they are a lot like Legolas's two daggers.) And as a last resort, he has a small, sharp boot knife.
Physical Description: The first thing you will notice about Damien is his height. In human measurements he is 6 foot 4 inches. The next thing you will see is his powerfully built body. Though he is built more with a solid or stocky
body type, he is very muscular. All muscles on his body are strong. In the past, Damien had fought for the Long Patrol of Salamandastron and from those many battles he has plenty of scars. The biggest two are by far the one down his left leg, from knee to shin which he received from a blade slash, and the scar from his left forehead through his left eye and down to his chin. He lost his eye in that battle. Damien has fur that is a soft nut brown color but his underbelly is a grayish-white tint to it. Damien also has humongous hands and feet that some have said when he's hugged them, it felt like a bear hug. His ears are taller than most hares' but the right ear has a nip cut off of it from another blade slash he had received. His one eye left is a deep blue color almost like an ocean.
Clothing Description: Damien wears a men's kilt that us colored brown around his waist with a belt to hold it on. He also has on a now dirty white shirt that is cut down the middle in a V-shape. A pair of boots on his feet in which a small knif is kept in it as already mentiond, and a brown tricorn hat complement the outfit. Damien also wears a lot of armor. He has metal shoulder plates that go on - Well, his shoulders of course Grin He does not wear a breastplate as most warrior hares do because he finds they get in his way. He wears shin guards, arm guards, elbow guards and knee guards of silver though. Though it is not noticeable, he does wear a very light unnoticeable chain mail strip under the shirt (If you've watch LOTR it is like Frodo's chain mail in the first LOTR). As already mentioned, he has his sword sheath, arrow quiver, dagger holders, and the knife in hi boot.

I guess now is a good time to give a bit of an update on how my drawings are coming since I haven't posted in so long. Right now I'm working on inking in the final details of Rachel's request. Once that's done then I'll be able to start coloring it, so I hope I'll be able to finish and post it soon, though I make no promises. I've almost finished all my school for this school year, so hopefully soon I'll be able to speed up my requests.

Personality: Quiet, sensible, respectful. Unlike other vermin he is well spoken, handsome, enjoys good healthy food, likes to be clean. But is also ruthless, and a deadly killer despite his age.
Notable Features: A scar on his check, and a tattoo behind is left ear of two crossed swords.
Other: Is from a wealthy, family, who owned a lot of land far up east. His family dealt in slaves, and was permanently at war with a tribe of badgers. One day the badgers defeated Raphael's family, took their land, and hunted down Raphael's family, and killed them. Raphael was the only one to escape. He lived in the woods for a while, until he found Grund's horde. He asked to join, and Jantar instantly took him under her wing. She began to train him, and he is her personally assistant.

No offense taken. :) As to your question, I'm not sure I could provide a specific answer for it. It's not something I consciously make a decision to do. I am always looking for ways to improve my art, and if you have any comments on how I can make it better, then I will definitely take them into consideration.
Well, one thing you could do is look in a mirror, posing as what you want your drawing to be in, and go from there. (I've done it before; heck, I've even gotten my brother to be a model for a bit.) Another thing is to stay in proportion, like the legs always longer than the arms, the body stay 7-8 heads tall. :) (Rambling. . . Sorry, the art class I took is coming back to me :P)
Actually I have done the posing in front of a mirror before to decide what position I want the character I'm drawing to be in. Proportion is something I struggle with sometimes, so I'll continue to work to improve that. Thanks for your comments!

Species: Pine marten
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Weapon(s) of choice: Her father's old dirk, which he taught her to use.
General description: Aislinn has dark brown fur, with an odd reddish-brown streak running from her right shoulder to her elbow. Her right eye is green, while the left is brown. She wears a royal-blue tunic tied with a red sash, in which is thrust her dirk. On her footpaws are a pair of black boots, and she also wears a small pair of gold hoop earrings.
Personality: Aislinn acts cocky and overconfident, and seems to think she's the best swordsbeast there is. (She's very skilled with a blade, but she seems to think nobeast could ever best her.) She frequently puts others down verbally, and generally acts like others are beneath her. However, she only does this to hide her sensitive side and protect herself from being bullied like she was in her childhood. Despite her attitude, Aislinn is tenaciously loyal to any friends/allies she might have (not that she has many).
Biography: Aislinn grew up in a small village inhabited by other martens and a few weasels. Most in the village were pretty good sorts, but throughout her childhood Aislinn had a lot of trouble with others her age, facing almost constant ridicule due to her eye colors and odd streak on her arm. The marten finally couldn't take it any longer, and ran away from home when she was twelve, taking her father's dirk with her. She was a good swordsbeast and had some skill with healing; thus, she quickly learned to fend for herself in the woodlands. Promising herself that she'd never be bullied again, the pine marten adopted a cocky, sarcastic attitude.
Aislinn fell in with the Ramblers a few months ago; in the time she's spent with the group, she's gradually developed a keen dislike of Esile Violettail. The mysterious vixen frankly intimidates her, which may be partly due to the stories she's heard about her poisons. However, Aislinn wouldn't admit she's intimidated for the world.
Since joining the Ramblers, Aislinn frequently uses her healing skills to help those who need it, usually for pay.
