My favorite character is Mariel so I've always really wondered if she and Dandin were in love, I mean they went on lots of adventures together. But Brian Jacques never mentioned it like anything but friendship. By the way I'm new.

I was hoping at the end of THe Bellmaker they would get married but they never did. I always thought they were slightly in love but I was kinda dissapointed at the ending.

I would have liked them to be, they were so perfect for each other! But the book never implies that they were.

I always thought of them more as close friends then lovers, but that's just my opinion.
