Title: Can you help me decide what to do next: A dark nite
Post by: Taggerung The Otter on November 10, 2011, 02:00:24 PM
Refol should have been in Redwall eating a nice feast of Otter's Hotroot Soup, Woodland Salad, Vegetable Pie, Acorn Bread, Garlic Herb Cheese Bread, Garlic Herb Cheese Bread, Lemon 'n Butter Trout, Nutbread, Leek Soup, and much more. Instead he had decided to become an adventurer. He had asked Friar Diam to pack provisions for a week. Refol was dreadfully scared of the dark, so now, as he walked toward the main road he heard a sharp crack. Refol whipped out his dirk and his saber. He waited a few minutes and then looked back at the abbey. Refol knew that he would look like a fool if he all of a sudden turned back because he was afraid of the dark. He closed his eyes and spun in his heel. Taking a few seconds to reminisce on all the amazingly fun times he had at Redwall. The feast, games, and fellowship. Sighing Refol opened his eyes. Right in front of hm was the weirdest creature he had ever seen. It looked like a mix between a ferret and a wildcat. It was holding two double-bladed swords in both of its paws. Just as Refol was pulling out his weapons he heard breathing from behind him. He turned around and saw another ferret-wildcat. Behind him was a horde of foxes... :'(

Redwall was always big on going into depth about food, so that might be a choice of style. Sounds like you're gearing up for a battle scene next, with some banter between Refol and the vermin beforehand.
