Cinderpet(Camlin the Cat) vs. Skraz(Turenic the Otter)
Camlin was walking through Mossflower Wood as the noon day sun shone through the array of ash, oak, birch, and tulip poplars. Suddenly, a creature jumped out infront of her!

Most people on here like describing their characters in a separate topic before jumping into the roleplay. I'd be willing to duel, but I have no idea what your character even looks like.

Turenic had seen Camlin from a little ways off, and had hid himself behind a tree to wait for the cat to come close.
As he heard the soft, padded steps come closer, Turenic jumped out into the open. "Boo!" he shouted.
"Aah! You scared me!" laught Camlin. "How ya been? I hadvn't seen ya in a long whiles
(OOC: This is how I would imagine more rural cats would talk.)

"I've been well," said Turenic with a smile. "Been away from the abbey for a while, but I just got back today! You heading back there now?"
"Yep! Yuzt caught me sum fish! Wnan walk der wi me?" said Camlin, smiling at her old friend.
((OOC: Sorry that I havn't been on in awhile. The Wifi was down.))
OOC: No problem.
BIC: "Of course," said Turenic. The two creatures walked along side by side. The otter asked "How has life been at the abbey?"
"Oh, It's been good. The Spara tribe in the abbey came down for the feast we were a-havin yesterday and boi are they nippy little felows." As Camlin finished her scentance, the abbey was smack dab in front of them. The mouse at the front gate saw them and prepared to open the door. "An 'ere we we are!"
"Excellent!" said Turenic happily. "I've been looking forward to having some Redwall fare again!"
Time skip: after lunch:
"Ahh. That's a good meal.Say, the abbut put in a new room in for sparring with stafs. And both of us know that in our past moons we loved to spar. So, ya wana have a go?"
((OOC: Yay! You're back!))
OOC: Sorry for the wait.
BIC: Turenic jabbed at Camlin with a paw. "You bet! Let's go!"
When they reached the sparing room, it was mostly empty save for a few mice wanting to have some fun. Camlin tosses a stick to Turenic. "Alright. Do ya want any special rules or do ya just want it te be like normal?"
"Anything goes," said Turenic, grabbing a quarterstaff. "We can use our paws, feet, tail, anything." The otter grinned. "Ready?"
"You bet!" Camlin swings at her friends tail.
Turenic slammed his staff into the ground, Camlin's weapon cracking against it. With a small laugh he swung upward at the cat's stomach.
Camlin leaned back away from the stafs and, in doing so, swung her staff at Tumeric's head
OOC: Hello? Skraz?
OOC: I am so sorry, I kept putting off posting and thus forgot. I remembered this morning and was planning on posting on my break.
BIC: Turenic ducked as he brought up his staff, Camlin's glancing off of it. Then he attempted to jab her in the stomach.
OOC: It's okay.
BIC: Camlin saw what was happening, but she was too late and, instead of the stomach, was hit in the side. Regaining her balance, she swung back at Tumeric's head
Turenic once again brought his staff up to block the blow, but Camlin's staff hit his claws. He cried out and jumped back, shaking his paw.
After quickly checking to make sure they weren't broken, the otter grinned ruefully at his opponent. "Good job you weren't really trying, Camlin."
"Oh I can try harder." Camlin said right before she turned her staff around and tried to smack Tumeric square to the chin.
Turenic once again managed to block, though his paws stung from the impact.
"Have you gotten better, or am I out of practice?" he asked, moving to the side to prevent himself from backing up into a corner. He made another quick jab, feinted left, and swung the other end of his staff around to get at Camlin's shoulder.
Camlin leaped up and back flipped over the swinging stick. "I'll let you decide on that." She said, smirking. "But even then, I won't take it easy on you, Tumeric." She landed on her two feet and began to dash at the otter.
Turenic leapt to the side, unsure of what Camlin was planning with a rush at him. He swung his staff at her shoulder as she came at him.
Camlin ducked under the staff and swung at Turenic's shins
Turenic just missed blocking Camlin's staff, and it cracked against his shin hard.
"Ah! Ow!" he cried, hopping back on one leg. "Alright! You win! Ow."

"I'm still the best," Camlin says as she swagered around in a circle"but is your leg ok?"
OOC: Sorry that I haven't been on in a while. Life's been crazy for me
Turenic rubbed the growing lump on his leg, smiling wryly. "Oh, it might take me a few seasons and lots and lots of bedrest, but I think I'll barely survive."
"If you need some help getting to the Infermary, I can help you." Responds Camlin
